Great location on the edge of the old town, charming room with a peaceful view over the river & a comfortable bed. An easy walk or a tram ride from the main station. Eat at the onsite restaurant or choose from several great local restaurants, like Burgstein's Gasthaus Penalty. Shops & supermarkets are nearby. A common room with a coffee machine & a private terrace overlooking the river was nice

The intercom & keypad for access after hours was a bit niggly.

Bei dem Zimmerpreis dürfte das Frühstück inkludiert sein. 25Fr. zusätzlich ist schon viel. Ausserdem war unser Zimmer recht laut. Man hat den Verkehr (vor Allem das Tram) sehr gut gehört. Aber auch andere Gäste im Flur.

This hotel was amazing! The rooms are modern and cozy, and we were beyond delighted to have air conditioning! The location was great, with walking options in all directions.

The only small annoyance was how loud the trains were, but we both have noise canceling headphones and the hotel provides you with ear plugs so it wouldn’t prohibit me from wanting to stay here again!

The Boutique & Art Hotel Helvetia is a beautiful hotel, filled with charm and a modest yet refined sense of style. There are many beautiful details. We had a warm welcome and were grateful for being allowed to move into our room a bit earlier. The room on the first floor had a small balcony and a view of the river Sihl. The room was small but comfortable and decorated with good taste (my partner was not crazy about the art, but that's a matter of taste, of course). The beds were great. The restaurant is also very nice and has a terrace overlooking the river. Our rate did not include breakfast, but we did take breakfast in the hotel, and I think it was good value (25 CHF).

Actually there's really nothing to complain about. I had a bit of trouble fixing the shower head such that I could shower comfortably without flooding the bathroom - but maybe I was just too clumsy.

A lovely comfortable room, which was cool despite the 30+ degrees. The staff were welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend the buffet breakfast - a great range (including eggs/avocado and hot drinks prepared to order).

One of Zurich's best-kept (design) hotel secrets. Central location and friendly staff, and I had a super cute and very clean room. Worth mentioning the AC, which made the hot summer night a lot more bearable. There's a very good restaurant with bar in the same building. Very reasonable rate for Zurich.

Room was on the top floor, it felt like an attic room with sloped ceiling. Room was very hot, even though the air was . Very small room, could barely walk around the bed.

L’emplacement est vraiment bien. La salle du petit déjeuner avec la terrasse est super jolie. La déco est stylée et la chambre que nous avons eu été spacieuse. Accueil standard, efficace.

C’est très bruyant dès qu’on ouvre la fenêtre. Nous devions avoir une chambre avec climatisation, mais nous avons eu un climatiseur extérieur donc nous avons dû dormir la fenêtre entrouverte, ce qui est laisse passer tout le bruit de la rue. La chambre est très jolie et très confortable, mais moi qui ai l’habitude de ces journées dans les hôtels de ce standing, j’ai trouvé que ce n’était pas très commode entre parenthèses prise pas au bon endroit, pas assez de lumière dans la chambre…).

Room and bathroom had no shelves, be very careful check your reservation. Front desk staff told me breakfast was included but it was not, so quite pricy for 2 ppl (breakfast was good but not worth the 25 franc cost

취리히역에서 트램 4 정거장에 위치해 있으며, 수시로 트램 다녀서 대기시간 적음. 근처에 COOP, 카페등이있으며 도보10분거리 모두이동가능. 가장 좋았던건 에어컨이 있어 룸컨디션 좋았고, 룸청결상태도 직원친절도 모두 좋았음.

Quite noisy, tram + relatively noisy street makes it leas comfy, if quiet night is your thing. Fwiw windows are good, cut off a lot of the noise, though was quite hot when visiting and could not keep them closed.

This hotel is a converted house. As such, it is comfy with extra rooms for lounging, reading, sitting on balcony over river. The rooms are up to date and very comfortable. There is a popular restaurant and bar on the corner with a very friendly staff. We would absolutely stay here again!

The proximity to the city center, the amenities, the cleanliness, the spacious room, but most of all the staff was only some of the things that we really enjoyed during our stay. Totally recommend it for your days in Zürich.

Very accessible location - around 10 minutes' walk from Zurich HB and close to lots of nearby restaurants, with a tram stop 50m away. Room is quirky, cosy, and interesting. nice small balcony downstairs, a bar, and decent security.

Not a problem, but can be confusing - there are 2 'wings/buildings' combined in one, each with it's own elevators but a common lobby and ground floor. If self checking in late night, you might find yourself searching for the 5th floor which will appear to have vanished until you go back down and take the next elevator.

It was a spacious apartment that had lovely interiors and a comfy bed. Clean, and had all that was needed for a one night stay. I really enjoyed looking out the window to central Zurich. The staff were very accommodating, they gave a map and and told me about places I could visit, or how to catch a tram to certain locations.

There was nothing I didn't like. I thought it was a very lovely stay.

Struttura accogliente e in ottima posizione, centrale e vicino alla stazione. Camera ben arredata, pulita e luminosa. Personale molto disponibile per ogni esigenza.

All’arrivo in hotel ci è stata assegnata una stanza con condizionatore portatile con il tubo di scarico che sbucava dalla finestra aperta. Lo staff è stato molto gentile e a cambiarci subito la camera con una più adeguata e con un normale impianto di aria condizionata.

Das Zimmer war sehr klein! Der Preis zu hoch.

This hotel is exceptional value in what is an expensive city to visit. I was able to get into my room on arrival, which was greatly appreciated. The room was much more spacious than I expected and stylishly decorated. I had two big windows so plenty of light. The terrace next to the river was a perfect place on a warm, sunny day to relax with a drink. Location was excellent, within easy walking distance of the train station and the lake.

We stay in a Double Room Cosy for 2 nights. It is a very basic room for the price but perhaps this is typical of this city. The good: - the staff were lovely and were eager to help - the room was very clean and neatly laid out - the room was very quiet, as requested - the room had usb charging points so we didn’t need converters for the sockets - there are two rooms on ground level where you can sit and have a coffee from their Nespresso machine. Having this facility was so important for us, given the size of our room - the location is good with a 12 minute walk from the train station and plenty of restaurants, bakeries and a supermarket a few minutes walk away The challenges - the room was so tiny, with nowhere to put suitcases - the only place for hanging clothes is a coat rack with 2 hangers - there is no safe so we had to carry all our valuables with us - the room did not have a built in air con system (or if it did, it wasn’t working) so we had a large mobile unit in the room. For this to work, the duct needed to hang out the open window so there was a trade off between the quiet of having the window closed and the hot temperature of the room without the air con unit being used - the shower head did not stay in position while having a shower when we arrived. We mentioned it to reception and it was fixed promptly (thank you!). However, the shower tray did not drain after a shower so the second person having a shower had to stand in the first persons dirty water - the pillows in the room on arrival were very flimsy. However, when we mentioned this to reception next day, they informed us that they had a pillow menu. We got to choose extra pillows for our second night and they were perfect (thank you). Overall, if you must stay in the city centre, this is not a bad option on a budget. However, next time, I would choose to stay in one of the big name hotels near the airport for the same price and do the 12 minute commute into the city by train.
