Reviewed Sep 19, 2026The breakfast was awesome (though the coffee could have been a little bit better) and the staff really, really helpful. It's great to have your own fridge too. The terrace is great. Being a women-only place makes it feel particularly peaceful.
I found it a bit overpriced, but maybe that's just Zurich. I have stayed in similar guesthouses in UK cities for less that half that rate.

Reviewed Sep 14, 2026I really liked the common space up on the roof. We had a baby with us, and our Zurich trip was made easier by having that beautiful common space. We both had nice rooms and bathrooms, and we also loved the fact that it was a short walk to the main Zurich train station.

Como había cocina compartida en el 5to piso, cada vez que alguien cocinaba, el olor a comida llegaba a todas las plantas. A veces los utensilios de cocina estaban sucios. El desayuno bastante básico (por ejemplo, solo queso cottage como proteína). La chica de recepción, si bien era nueva, nos ha dado la llave de una habitación equivocada.

Reviewed Sep 11, 2026The location is perfect, really close to the train stations (both the main one and the one the train to Uetliberg leaves from) and literally just a few steps from the public transport. There are also many cafes, restaurants and shops around - including a huge Coop, where you can also get prepared meals for reasonable prices. The guesthouse itself is nicely decorated, you can find anything you might need in the shared kitchen and the rooftop terrace is an amazing place to have a lunch or dinner at. The breakfast was good - I really appreciate that there were gluten-free and lactose-free alternatives available without any surcharge. The freshly baked bread was also perfect, the only thing which could be added are eggs - at least hard boiled :)

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026In der Nähe der Unterkunft gibt es gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten & in der Unterkunft verfügt man über ein kleines abschließbares Kühlschrankfach. Das ist sehr praktisch. Das Frühstücksangebot ist ausreichend & die Dachterrasse sehr schön. Zu Fuß sind es zum Hauptbahnhof nur ca. 15 Minuten.
Die Dusche ist etwas klein, aber für einen kurzen Aufenthalt war es in Ordnung.

Die Lage, es ist ein Frauenhotel, was auch etwas sehr tolles ist. Allerdings waren direkt vor der Unterkunft ziemlich viele Menschen, bei denen man sich unwohl gefühlt hat , vor allem Nachts als Frau. Also vor allem auch Junkies.

The location is great for getting a large suitcase from the Zurich HB train station via trams 3 or 14 to Staffauffer and a short walk across smooth pavements (not cobblestones). El concepto de compartir, la comida que sobraba se regalaba a otras personas ... nos ayudábamos unas a otras. La situación inmejorable, a un paso del centro y de la estación de tren.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026La terraza y que tuviera una cocina con frigorífico donde los compartimentos para cada habitación tienen su propio espacio con llave. Y un detalle que dejarán tapones para los oídos ya que está al lado de una iglesia donde las campanas cada hora y cuartos suenan.
Que no hubiera recepción en fin de semana, es decir una persona física. Porque es mucho más amigable que en lugar de hacerlo a través de una web.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2026The hotel is in the center of Zurich, couple of minutes from the tram station and within walking distance from the main train station. The district is nice, there is a children playground outside. It was great that we could leave our luggage at the reception after the check-out, even though the reception is open until 14:30.
The only thing to complain is the breakfast. It was a pity not to have any warm dishes for breakfast.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026Vynikající lokalita, našla jsem místo na parkování přímo před hotelem (modrá zóna, možné parkovat jen 19:00 - 08:00). Velmi čistý hotel s příjemnou snídaní v posledním patře. V případě pěkného počasí je krásné posezení na terase s výhledem na kostel. Jezdím sem opakovaně a vždy jsem spokojená.

Bei Außentemperaturen von 35 Grad waren es im Zimmer ohne Klimaanlage leider auch bis zu 31 Grad .Die Matratze war sehr hart, was das schlafen für mich zusätzlich erschwert hat.

El desayuno es algo ligero, estaría bien que agregaran huevo, en las habitaciones no hay televisión, me quedé con ganas de ver sus canales locales, después de las caminatas del día para conocer la ciudad. El horario para usar la lavandería es bastante reducido, igualmente el de recepción.

Reviewed Aug 5, 2026Sehr ansprechend modern und zugleich wohnlich eingerichtet. Küche und Terrasse ganz oben mit Blick auf die Dächer sind wirklich ein Highlight des Hotels. Draußen frühstücken oder tagsüber einfach mal dort entspannen. Die Gegend auch sehr gut um zu Fuß oder per Bahn überall Angel hinzukommen.
Was absolut gestört hat, sind die Drogenabhängigen direkt gegenüber dem Fenster mitten in der Nacht . Dafür kann natürlich das Guesthouse nichts, aber es muss unbedingt etwas unternommen werden, damit die Leute ruhig sind nachts und nicht den Schlaf der Bewohner abbrechen . Mit Ohropax ging es dann ganz gut.

I didn't know they did NOT have air conditioning or a TV ! But they had a fan at least! Also when I checked in the room wasn't ready and they said to leave my suitcase in the small lobby by the desk. she said she'd be there to watch it, but when I left on a boat tour and returned a few hours later, around 4:30 pm, there was nobody in the lobby.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026The room was a nice size. The employees were all very kind. Nice to have an elevator I had heavy luggage. Plenty of storage for my clothes and belongings in the room. The breakfast selection was good. I only preferred the bread and jam, but that was enough for me. I am not a big breakfast person. The building location was convenient to public transportation.
Street front signage could be better. My Uber driver could not figure out where to let me off. The laundry room in the basement could use some updated equipment. The washers ate my money, which the front desk reimbursed the following day and the dryer left my clothes, smelling moldy. The breakfast kitchen area was extremely hot, even though it was said to have AC the only part of the building that guests could enjoy air-conditioning. It was a letdown. I would have liked to have had a Safe in the bedroom. There was one type of hand soap in the bathroom. I’m glad I brought my own products. Some better quality towels would be great, washcloths too. My room was very warm. Having only one fan and the windows even open didn’t let in very much air the openings were very small.

Huoneessa ei ole kunnollisia pimennysverhoja. Huoneessa ei ole televisiota. Suihkussa on heikko veden tulo ja vedenpaine. Suihkunurkka melko kapea. Kylpyhuoneen ilmastointi melko äänekäs. Huoneen oven lukko on hieman jäykkä, perinteinen avain käytössä huoneen oveen. Aamiainen on niukka. Kattoterassin ovi on raskas avata eikä ulkopuolella ole kahvaa.
