I stayed in room 119. And I could not pick up wifi. This was disappointing. Used my own data. I was there on work was back late did not want to complain late. Also when we checked in were not issued the wifi code.

Centrally located, had a function there and was good that we could stay there as well.

Would have preferred to be on the ground floor as it is quite difficult to go up the stairs with a lot of luggage.

Excellent location, clean facilities and good breakfast!

WALL HAD HOLE IN IT THE SIZE OF ABOUT 50MM. I GOT AN UPSTAIRS ROOM ALTHOUGH THE BOOKING STATING GARDEN VIEW.

It was a nice place to stay and peaceful and beautiful and clean and it was nice room, bathroom and well equipped kitchen. The staff were so friendly and the food was amazing!

Besides the music from the event at the hall. Everything was fine. Just fine.

The room set up, the bedding and bathroom were up to standard. The restaurant meals were very palatable and affordable in prices. The garden was well nurtured and of course those pine trees enhanced the vicinity. very picturesque

the curtains were a bit transparent for me. I was not sure whether people outside could see my silhouette. Otherwise i have no qualms

The rooms were smaller size but decent. The bathroom sink didn't have an electrical plug for hair drying. The A/C worked well. Very clean. I would stay here again.

The staff who served me food, soo caring and loving. Made me feel at home, thank you soo much for that. I really appreciate the warmth and care they have shown me, even the guys I met first day at the reception, I believe the guy's name was Thokozani, he and the other young lady were soo loving and welcoming. Thank you truly

1. the room that I booked was soo noisy, the were people working in the other room, as they knew they could have fixed it. I had a presentation that I needed to deliver, I had to inform them about it. The noise was soo bad. Also I arrived early almost at my booking time, you pay extra , they do not make exceptions, even when the room was empty. 2. Not being properly informed

The reception staff were really friendly and helpful.

The room was odd. Service was poor in the restaurant despite me seemingly being the only guest! There was a party going on one night I was there and it was very noisy in my room. I had an early start and was told the party would end at 10pm. It didn't! And nobody answered the phone when I called to say how loud it was. Not impressed.

Cedar wood is the best place so far a good place to stay in , the restaurant the conference facility very tidy , the bathrooms and the rooms are very neat and clean , the food the staff and managers are great people , they treat all their employees very well … the service was exceptional and I will definitely visit again , because of their great service.

Amazing service from the time that I booked in our staff members in. Perfectly clean rooms and amazing service from the staff from the moment you check in. They went above and beyond our expectations by providing our staff members with a breakfast package on the last day of training as the ladies had to leave early. You dont find that very often

I will definitely book this place on our next pilgrimage from the church. The food was amazing and the chef went out of his way to make an early breakfast for us.

Why have an option to specify that you're travelling for work, enter your company details, request a VAT invoice, only for the property to completely ignore the instructions and send generic invoices. Even after repeated requests. Property may be comfortable, but if they cannot follow simple instructions, we will choose another for our work accomodations.

Your facility is centrally located. I would highly recommend it to my friends, family and business associates as a place to stay

Excellent service, very affordable, highly recommended. Very friendly staff, new upgraded rooms are modern and very comfortable.

The double room was reasonably well appointed. The single room was not clean - power sockets were not working. The toilet is strangely in a glass box in the middle of the room. We arranged an airport transfer for 3 people from the airport. A Nissan micra arrived 15 minutes late for the pick-up. It was not possible to take three people and 3 suitcases because the car was too small. The hotel still charged full price for the transfer. Restaurant was suprisingly decent - the staff although friendly did not respond in anyway to complaints to help solve them. So we ended up checking out a day early. Much better options available - I will avoid this place in the future.

Conference venue set up correct, venue was clean and very well presented, Ablution facilities was clean. Refreshments were good and served on time. Staff overall friendly and helpful. Centrally located in Woodmead area.

The cabinets are not big enough. I spent a long stay.

Our Lubrication Engineering Course was help at Cedarwoods on 19 - 23 February 2024. The food was awesome as well as the lunches. all the staff were friendly and went out of their way to assist and make sure all was in order. All our delegates had a good week.

It is close (less than 10 minutes walk) to my training center.

The room does not have enough space for two persons. And the cabinet is too small, even for one person.

Our bedding was not clean. Pool was not clean The staff seems clueless....from the time we arrived and asked if we could park closer to our room....2 people said we cannot, only to find that it was possible. The fridge was not cold. To shower was a struggle with water not coming from the tabs.

Always a pleasure returning to Cedarwoods. Highly professional and comfortable venue. Staff always goes above and beyond. We use the venue for week long workshops and meetings with larger groups. We never get complaints and will return for years to come.

a good place to stay at....menu to be expanded to offer a variety of food choices....Beverage pricing is a little unwelcoming might be reviewed for better. Some staffers seemed high now and then which was not so comforting

The food was awesome. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The place is very much safe and security protection is top.

The shuttle service from and to OR tambo airport is not affordable since you are already staying in the hotel. The same happens for attractions activities.

No comment, but it was absolutely beautiful place and secure. The service was fantastic and also the room was very neat as well as the the people at the hotel were very friendly, communicated, rendering a great service.

The rude receptionist: we were told breakfast ends at 10 am but when we go to the restaurant at 9:30 am the waiters tell us breakfast ends at 9 am. But the waiters are nice to get us something. Receptionist told us check out is at 12pm but on the check out dat a very rude receptionist call our room at 11am and told us we already overstayed, unless we check out in 20 minutes they will charge us. It's really threatening and rude. Very basic hotel appearing to be good on pictures. Never come back again.

according to me everything went well. food was nice, your place perfect for me i don't have much to say everything was on spotter. service that all i can state. i was very much happy to be in you place infect it was not a first time

I stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms which were very nicely done and furnished. Overall stay was pleasant except for the beyond absolutely shocking meals for both dinner and breakfast. The 1st nights dinner was inedible…with an incredibly limited menu available, we ordered a medium rare steak which was so beyond overcooked it was like try to eat rubber. The second attempt was no better….steak was raw, cold and uncooked. I have never tasted anything so disgusting in my life. Waiters went out of their way to assist but clearly the chef was clearly on another mission. Breakfast was no better with over cooked eggs and little miggies flying a bit too close to the food for me. Sadly this place won’t see me again!!!

I like everything about the accommodation, everything was in order in my room, the garden was very cool and clean, the restaurant was also good and very clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly.

There's nothing I didn't like.

The breakfast was great with a variety to choose from. The chefs/waiters were very hospitable. The rooms are a spacious and accommodate for workstations especially those who works virtually/ hybrid. You can integrate working and relaxing at the same time. It is conveniently located near restaurants/shop and corporate office , good for those who are there on business trips.

The TV in the rooms was not good. It seems like the place attracts corporate guests, and the existing channels are not accommodating business travellers. There were no News channels, mainly because there were no paid channels.

Best location for Malls/shopping, very quiet neighbourhood

the bed was stiff , i think it time to work on renovation - hopefully that doest increase the prices a lot.
