What we did appreciate was the effort from the reception staff. They genuinely tried their best to assist us despite having very limited resources and being stretched between multiple responsibilities. I actually felt sorry for them, as it seemed that many of the shortcomings were beyond their control.

Very disappointing stay – hotel is badly in need of renovation Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed with our stay. The hotel is very outdated and, in our opinion, does not live up to the standard we expected. From the moment we arrived, the entire property had a strong smell of smoke and damp. Our room in particular looked and smelled as though it had previously experienced water damage. The carpet appeared to have significant water damage, which made the room feel unpleasant and poorly maintained. The air conditioning was also not functioning properly. It only blew cool air, more like a fan, rather than actually cooling the room as an air conditioner should. Several of the electrical plugs in the room were not working, and there were no charging points or plugs conveniently located next to the bed. The curtains were also visibly worn and in need of replacement. The hotel also appeared to be seriously understaffed. The reception staff were simultaneously having to deal with porter duties, which resulted in delays and made the overall service feel very limited. There was also a significant language barrier, despite our attempts to communicate using a translation app, which made it difficult to resolve issues or ask for assistance. Overall, the hotel requires substantial investment and refurbishment. The combination of the outdated facilities, smell of smoke and damp, apparent water damage, faulty air conditioning and plugs, worn furnishings, and limited staffing made our stay very disappointing. Unfortunately, we would not choose to stay here again and cannot recommend the hotel in its current condition.

The rooms were spacious and basic facility expectation were met.

The property is rundown and needs to be renovated ASAP. The air quality of the hotel is very bad. There was a strong smell of Mould, and I had trouble sleeping because of the allergy cause by this air. There were cockroaches in my room and I had spotted few at the dustbin near the reception elevator as well. So, pest control is also a major issue.

Food is good taste and realy like.

The hotel was as expected for the price. The room was dated and had a smell. And the mattress was firm. Having said that I travelled to this hotel as a single female and felt very safe and comfortable. The staff were exceptional, speaking very good english and were very helpful in accomodating my request especially helping out with finding me a powerpoint adapter and charger. I will come back to this hotel again.

The hotel is small but interior modern and pleasant. Location in the city and close to transporation like ferry and train station.

Very convenient location near to ferry port and railway station. Like the strong WiFi in the room and availability of CNN channel on TV. 👍

I stayed here for a business trip because the Mels Weldon had such an awful smell. This hotel was good. Nothing luxurious but the rooms were small and clean and well designed. The overall feel of hotel was good and had no complaints other than the food at the hotel was limited. However, the Starbucks was right next door. I have different expectations for business travel than I do for leisure. This hotel checked my most important box of cleanliness so I was very satisfied.

２０１７　3回宿泊した時には朝食がついていましたが、同じプライスで 今回は別になっていました。1回58元　約1000円を別途に払いましたが、 朝食が付いてるつもりでの予約です。ホテルとしては前回の評価は５を付けましたが 次回の予約時には、別のホテルも考えたいと思います。

Very nice hotel, the location is near many stores. The employees at the front desk speak very good english, which is not usual for China^^ The room was very nice, clean plus beautiful decoration and featured all what you need, nice slippers, bathrob etc. Looking forward to my next stay there.

The hotel is along Humen Boulevard which is conveniently located near the shopping area. I love this property for its cleanliness and thoughtfulness in interior design; ie. open concept bathroom, rotatable mirror and wide bathroom counter. I think this is one of the better mecure properties. I will definitely make this my go-to-hotel when I go to Humen.

Good hotel to stay in the winter season. I've stayed here in the summer and found the aircon to be inadequate for the subtropical climate. It's not a problem when the outside temp is less than 20 C. Being on my own most of the stay, I eat at the buffet dinner. For guests, the dinner is discounted to a very reasonable price. The only drawback is the occasional bus tour that crowds the restaurant making it difficult to get food from the stations. The hotel is very central, but the immediate area is unpleasant. The back of the hotel sits on one of the canals in the city that smells and operates as a sewer. If you go for a walk to the park or cross the canal, be prepared for odor. There's a starbucks next door at the grand noble hotel. I've stayed at the grand noble as well; it's more expensive, but has different drawbacks that make the Mercure attractive.

good breakfast and location

The hotel is located near by the business center of Humen. There are many shopping stores and restaurants within walking distance. Staffs are helpful and room services are timely.

Have stayed in this hotel for a couple of times. Each time was always no surprised - the staff are ever courteous and the rooms are very well kept and clean. Kept from the busy side of town, this hotel is convenient with food and shopping.

I'm returning customer, I've been visiting this hotel more than 8 years. Front dest staffs are kind and speaks English very well. Room always clean and bed sheets are always completely dry even it's summer time. This hotel has the fastest Wifi ever, even faster than 5 star hotel. Great for business travelers.

The curtain is excellent in keeping the room dark, which I have a great sleep.

Overall is satisfaction of me, especially in good services at reception and housekeeping. I will surely recommend my friends and customers to stay here.

地點在算是虎門最熱鬧的地方，缺點也是虎門大道容易塞車如果安排交通盡量早晚避開車潮，還有就是住的時候正逢難得的寒流，室內空調暖氣根本沒效果還越吹越冷...也算是奇特的經驗了，其餘還是很推薦這間酒店的，下次出差還是會選這家

裝潢很新，空間夠，最重要的是，床鋪又暖又舒服，而且沒有清洗劑的味道，可以一覺到天明。

The rooms are on the small side but its good for the money I paid. We paid extra to get the bigger room with a separate bathtub. First night was okay but on the 2nd night, the bath tub was pouring out hot water with black sands. By the time the tub filled about 3 inches, I could see a layer of sands on the bottom. So at 2:00 AM, I was forced to change the room on the same floor. The bed in this room was not as comfortable but I was not going to take a shower or bath with this black water. I was afraid the entire floor shared the same water pipe but it doesn't seem so. Anyway, i started to use spring water to brush my teeth.

Unfortunately i am only good for a one-night stay. But i will surely return during my next trip to Dongguan.

The hotel aircon is basically not working and can't be adjusted. It's hot. There is a very weird smell in the aircon it's very bad. Service is good though and room is ok

Pretty good hotel in the area I will stay there again!

The room was clean and tidy. Spacious too. But the air conditioning for the room was not circulating well, didn't feel cold (even when the temperature was tuned to the coolest) and gave out a mouldy smell. Overall, it was still a pleasant stay.
