The staff are superb, friendly, helpful and cheerful. The food, albeit very slow, is generally very good. Breakfast is basic but adequate. The building is beautiful and especially at night it is well lit and pretty.

This is not a 4 star hotel, regardless of advertising, it hits 3 at best. There are many things that if done better would lift the experience: The filter at the pool is very loud and ‘sucks’ all day long leaving the guest feeling unrelaxed. The room we had was a triple with beautiful high ceilings. However the soundproofing to the room next door was almost non existent- we could hear their tv as if it were in our room. The air con was insufficient. We had two units, only one worked and did not cool the room down sufficiently. You have to ask the front desk to change the temperature and that wasn’t enough. Being too warm is not comfortable. Whilst the beds looked fine, they were not comfortable and we were very stiff each day as a result. That may be just us, but, irrespective, it shouldn’t happen if the beds and pillows were good enough. The bathrooms (we had two) were dated and lacking finesse. Overall, apart from the lovely staff, our stay was disappointing and could easily be so much better with some careful changes.

Ci siamo stati solo due giorni e abbiamo trovato tutto molto in ordine, pulito, servizio impeccabile. La piscina è la chicca di questo posto, la colazione purtroppo l’abbiamo sempre fatta dentro a causa delle api ma d’altronde non ci si può fare niente, il mondo è anche loro ed è normale che vadano dove c’è cibo e acqua. Ottimo il servizio della colazione, buona, varia, e prodotti di buona qualità. Il ragazzo della caffetteria è in gambissima! Alcamo è una bella cittadina tranquilla, abbiamo dormito bene.

Se devo trovare un difetto, mancava la terrazza, d’estate è difficile far asciugare le cose senza un terrazzino. Altra cosa la salita per raggiungere il parcheggio più vicino all’ingresso è un po’ complicata😅

It was a comfortable stay. Hotel restaurant set menus are presented beautifully and is good value for money. The swimming pool was spotless - there were plenty of sun loungers with a great view towards the sea.

Very minor but the air conditioner temperature was fixed but the staff are happy to adjust it to your preference.

La vue et la piscine était très agréable. Le personnel est très sympathique et serviable. Possibilité de manger à la piscine directement est très appréciable.

Certains murs sont tellement fin que l’on entend tout ce qui se passe chez le voisin. La salle de bain était très vieille, mauvaise odeur dans les conduites et fourmis la dernière nuit. L hôtel était complet donc soit on aspergeait de bombe anti fourmis et dormait avec le gaz soit on dormait avec les fourmis…..

The breakfast was fine....usual continental fare and if we had got there earlier probably fresher and more plentiful! The staff were excellent....particularly Elena.....and did all they could to make sure we had a good stay - see my comment about being moved rooms. The pool area was good but could have done without the music being played all the time.......Judging by the small children in the pool it is seen as a good place for families - although we didn't see many at dinner which was on the balcony by the pool with views across to the mountains (once you ignored the abandoned building in front!) The food was excellent and very Italian - just what we were after. We were told the hotel is new - but in an old building - the conversion had been done with great imagination. We would recommend the hotel as somewhere to stay whilst exploring the area.....but just make sure you get a good room!

The first room we were put in was tiny with no storage apart from a wardrobe with one hanger. There was a ceiling leak from the bathroom above us. After reviewing the situation the hotel agreed to move us the following day. The room we moved to was excellent....on 2 floors with lots of space and storage! Wardrobe with many hangers!!! And draws.

Nous avons eu un petit problème lors de la réservation et nous avons été écouté lorsque nous sommes allés expliquer notre problème à la réception. Puis, une solution a rapidement été trouvée. C’était vraiment du grand professionnalisme. Nous tenions à relever la gentillesse et la sollicitude du personnel (comme Elena). Nous avons très bien dormi. La literie était excellente. La piscine est vraiment bien et très bien aménagée. Le petit-déjeuner était également de très bonne qualité. La salle de bain est un peu vieillotte. Toutefois, elle est de bonne qualité avec tout le nécessaire. En bref, c’était un superbe séjour et je recommande cet hôtel.

El aire acondicionado es muy ruidoso y sin posibilidad de modificar la temperatura. Falta de mobiliario auxiliar para colgar las toallas y los bañadores.

Das Hotel ist altertümlich und an sich ruhig am Hügel gelegen. Frühstück reichlich und gut ausgestattet Abendessen war sehr lecker (Bewertung erfolgt separat über das Restaurant). Genügend Parkplätze, aber die Hochfahrt zu den Parkplätzen, ist ne Herausforderung. Personal sehr sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, Kompliment an euch :-) Trotzdem würden wir erneut wiederkommen, da es für einen Zwischenstopp super ist.

Einzige Nachteile: die Zimmer sind sehr Hellhörig und dementsprechend hörst du alles vom Nachbarzimmer; die Klimaanlage konntest du nicht selbstständig steuern. Es war wirklich sehr kühl. Deswegen nur 9 von 10 vergeben.

Personale squisito e ottima cucina, ma problemi con la camera e il riposo Punti di forza: Ci tengo a sottolineare l'estrema gentilezza, la disponibilità e la cortesia di tutto lo staff, che ci ha accolto sempre con grande calore. Nota di merito anche per la cucina, davvero ottima e di qualità.

Punti critici: Purtroppo l'esperienza con la stanza non è stata all'altezza delle aspettative e di quanto pagato: Mancata corrispondenza: La camera che ci è stata assegnata non corrispondeva alla tipologia che avevamo prenotato. Qualità del riposo: Il condizionatore presentava un forte rumore di fondo che purtroppo ha compromesso la qualità del nostro sonno per tutta la durata del soggiorno, nonostante l'avessimo fatto presente. In sintesi: Un peccato, perché la struttura ha un grandissimo potenziale e il personale merita un plauso per l'impegno, ma per garantire un soggiorno completo occorre maggiore attenzione alla manutenzione degli impianti e alla gestione delle assegnazioni delle camere.

Pool, super clean rooms, good A/C, had 2 in our room.. Very good & generous breakfast. Dinner was good too. They offered us vegetarian options.. wine paired excellent with the food. Served food with smile.

Feel the placement of the A/C could be better.. 2 water bottles provided only for the first day of stay. Also tea sachets were provided only twice for the entire stay

Petit hôtel très agréable pour se reposer et bien insonorisé. Nous avons pris beaucoup de plaisir au bord de la très belle piscine. Le personnel est au petit soin pour ses clients. Le petit déjeuner est vraiment super avec beaucoup de salé (oeufs brouillés, charcuterie, légumes, fromage...) tandis que le sucré concentre toutes les spécialités siciliennes. Enfin, le lit était vraiment très confortable. Adresse à recommander.

Des petits détails peuvent encore progresser. Par exemple, fournir de quoi étendre les serviettes de piscine/plage...

El personal de recepción aparecía en la puerta para informar, pero de una forma como si hubiésemos hecho algo malo. Reservamos habitación para 3, cuando llegamos a la habitación el sofá estaba sin acomodar como cama, tuvimos que hacerlo nosotros. En el desayuno poca fruta. Y en la estancia de la piscina la música demasiado alta, no permitía descansar.

Personal war sehr freundlich und hat uns Zimmer wechseln lassen, weil eine Feier im Restaurant war und wir gerne mehr Ruhe wollten. Daraufhin wurden uns alle freien Zimmer gezeigt.

Hotel ist sichtlich etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Klimaanlage hat sehr schlecht funktioniert. Man konnte sie bspw. Nicht selbst aus dem Zimmer steuern. Das Frühstück war eher mittelmäßig.

The location is beautiful, and the property itself is charming. We especially enjoyed the pool and the relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was varied, with a good selection of both sweet and savory items, as well as fresh fruit. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed our time here.

Breakfast was reasonble and served up by moritzio who was very helpfull and jolly. A little bit of engish brekky, scramble, bacon and egg was fair for being abroad. The more native breakfast was very nice too.

l'hôtel est très beau, bien aménagé, belle décoration à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur, très belle fontaine en mosaïque, beaucoup de plantes et fleurs, plusieurs terrasses à l'extérieur, grande piscine, belle vue du paysage, chambre spacieuse et propre, personnel gentil et serviable, buffet du petit déjeuner, parking ouvert sur 3 niveaux, facilité d'accès.

Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour notre mariage en 2027. Tout y est absolument parfait. Le personnel et la direction sont d’une gentillesse et d’un professionnalisme exceptionnel. Nous avons hâte d’y retourner.

Il y a beaucoup de charme dans cette hôtel. Le personnel est gentil. Les extérieurs sont sympa. C'est beau de pouvoir conserver un hôtel qui donne l'impression d'être dans l'ambiance familiale. Petit-déjeuner bien garni.

C'est une construction ancienne. L'insorisation n'a donc rien de parfait mais mais ça fait son charme!

Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich! Die ganze Anlage ist wunderschön! Sehr geschmackvoll renoviert, künstlerisch und individuell gestaltet. Alles ist sehr gut gepflegt, auch der Garten und der Blick von der Terrasse ist atemberaubend.

Leider hat unser Bad sehr schlecht aus den Abflüssen gerochen. Dies ging auch nicht mit Durchspülen oder über die Zeit weg und war ziemlich störend. Die Anlage wird auch als Party Location genutzt. Das war uns vorher nicht bewusst und leider war der Lärmpegel hier teils sehr hoch oder Leute um den Pool, was das Entspannen stark erschwert hat. Es war auch nicht nur einen Tag/Abend, sondern fast jeden Tag (vielleicht lag es daran, dass es um das Wochenende war).

Lovely old building with great character that has been very well converted to a comfortable hotel. We had a great room with wooden ceiling and lovely views down the valley. Great staff, very helpful. There were 4 confirmation parties held in the hotel during our stay so we couldn’t try the restaurant but the breakfast was very good. Despite the parties we didn’t hear much noise. Very convenient for last night before flying home from Palermo airport.

La cama era comodisima y el hotel es muy bonito, los trabajadores son muy atentos y están pendientes de todo.

El acceso es una cuesta corta pero muy empinada. Las escaleras de madera de la habitacion suenan mucho al pisar. El buffet tiene mucho que mejorar.

Labai paslaugus personalas, iš pradžių gavome triukšmingą kambarį, tačiau ryte paprašius kambarį pakeisti - kambarys buvo pakeistas į tylų ir ramų, todėl viskas buvo gerai. Pusryčiams buvo daug itin skanių bandelių, pyragų ir t.t. Kambarys švarus. Visumoje viešnagė buvo labai gera.

Viešbučio lokacija gana nuošali, šalia nėra restoranų ar parduotuvių, visur reikia pavažiuoti automobiliu.

Un endroit magnifique autant l’établissement, l’extérieur mais aussi l’intérieur nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le personnel est super, très accueillant, souriant, disponible. L’hôtel dispose d’un parking, il y a également un restaurant. Le petit déjeuner est très bon il y a du choix. La chambre était très belle, c’était propre. La literie impeccable nous avons très bien dormi.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Da wir ein Auto gemietet hatten, war die Lage etwas ausserhalb kein Problem. Das Zimmer war sehr grosszügig, die Mitarbeiter freundlich und das Frühstück reichlich. Vielleicht für unseren Geschmack etwas Süssigkeiten - Lastig.

Hotel dobre dostupný z letiska Palermo aj Trapani a blízko diaľnice. Čarovná atmosféra historicky pôsobiaceho hotela, veľmi vkusne zariadeného s pohodlnou posteľou, s dobrými raňajkami s možnosťou raňajkovať na terase v záhrade s vodopádom. Veľmi pekný bazén, úžasne prostredie okolo bazéna. Bezplatné parkovisko pri hoteli, veľmi pekne vysadený a udržiavaný areál okolo hotela.

Kanálový zápach v kúpeľni pri príchode, ktorý sa po jednom dni stratil.

The Hotel was nice and provides a special experience. The restaurant was really good and also a special experience.And the staff was nice as well.

The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the breakfast. It lacks behind the 4 star restaurant. Things were not filled up, less fruits, to less space inside for all the guests.

Das alte Klostergebäude wurde wunderschön urig-rustikal zu einem 4-Sterne Hotel umgebaut. Sehr netter und freundlicher (englischsprachiger) Empfang. Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis (in der Nebensaison). Frisches und reichhaltiges Frühstück mit zuvorkommenden Personal. Sehr bequeme Betten und Kopfkissen. Haben uns für eine Nacht während einer Rundreise sehr wohl gefühlt.

Ohne Mietwagen wäre die Lage nicht empfehlenswert. Zu weit weg von Ort und Strand. Das Bad hat eine nicht-funktionierende Heizung… es war Ende März echt kalt in den alten Gemäuern.
