Reviewed Jun 26, 2026A wonderful Austrian hotel. The staff were lovely, it was comfortable and clean. The evening meal was excellent with plenty of choice as was the was breakfast. Dare I say it, a cheaper but very good alternative to the more expensive Sölden up the road.
The German lady that greeted me as I arrived was very friendly and chatty, not so much the blonde lady who checked me out the next morning. A smile costs nothing.

Das Personal war nicht übermäßig freundlich und das Frühstück war nicht das, was ich eigentlich von einem guten Hotel gewohnt bin. Es gab keine Kaffeewünsche, wie einen Cappuccino oder so, sondern nur den aufgebrühten Kaffee in der Kaffeekanne am Tisch.

Jammer dat er in de omgeving hotel niks verder te doen is. Bus naar Sölden is voor de deur en 5 minuten.

We hadden een kamer geboekt met bad, uiteindelijk hebben we een kamer gekregen zonder bad. Omdat het hotel overboekt was en wij via booking.com hebben geboekt zeiden ze dat ze dat niet goed door hadden gekregen. We kregen niks ter compensatie, het enige wat de eigenaar zei is ‘jullie mogen zelf kiezen of je hier verblijft of weg gaat’. Niet erg vriendelijk.

Reviewed Jan 3, 2026Everything was clean, the bathroom and toilet in the room were recently renovated and looked great. The choice for breakfast was not big but I found everything I needed and with perfect quality )even smoked salmon). We also had dinners at the restaurant and the food was tasty. It’s very convenient that the bus stop is located right in front of the hotel and during winter you can use public transport for free. Therefore, we always went to the lifts by bus, although we had a car. There is a couple of chargers close by the hotel. People at the reception were very nice and helpful. We appreciated a lot saunas, it was a perfect way to end up the day. And storage room with driers was super useful too.

Reviewed Sep 20, 2025Die Inhaber des Hotels waren sehr familiär, freundlich und offen für unseren Hund. Sowohl das Frühstück mit genügend Auswahl, als auch das Abendessen im Restaurant war sehr lecker. Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet und immer sauber. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2025The room was comfortable and clean. The restaurant was excellent, both in service and in quality of the evening meal. The location is good, easily accessible but not super busy. Check-in and check-out were very easy.
I found the location to be quite noisy with traffic, especially annoyingly loud motorcycles, despite requesting a quiet room away from the main road. Breakfast was good, but would have been better with a few more hot options. An extra pillow would have been appreciated, but was not available. And someone please explain to me the wisdom of having a corner shower with no door that is open to the bathroom - it takes longer to mop up the mess with towels afterwards than it does to take a shower in the first place.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2025Wir mussten unsere Hüttentour einen Tag vorzeitig beenden aber die Umbuchung war überhaupt kein Problem. Zimmer war sehr geräumig und das Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus. Frühstück sehr reichhaltig.

leider ohne Kühlschrank und ohne Klimaaanlage. Im Bad muss man extrem lange auf Warmwasser warten.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2025Nach der anstrengenden E5 Wanderung von der Braunschweiger Hütte ist Wellness angesagt. Saunabereich, Stiefeltrockenraum, sehr gutes Restaurant und sehr freundliches Personal. Super Frühstücksbuffet. Bei der früheren E5 Wanderung war ich schon hier. Sehr empfehlenswert! Hinweis für fußkranke E5 Wanderer: Gegenüber ist die Bushaltestelle "Zwieselstein Hotel Neue Post" ->Timmelsjoch->Moos im Passeier Rettenbachferner Talstation->Sölden->Zwieselstein Haltestelle "Hotel Neue Post" Mit der digitalen Gästekarte gibt es Vergünstigungen.
Der Aufenthalt war leider zu kurz ;-)
