The facilities and staff were great. Nothing was too much trouble for Chris. Got all our washing done before we left, which was perfect! The views from our apartment were also amazing

It was up an hill so initially thought it would be hard getting up and down it and was a bit out if the way, but just a 2 min walk from the main round and on Stalis strip in less than 5 minutes

We had a wonderful stay at Villiana Apartment. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Everything was just as we hoped, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. We were extremely happy with our choice and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Chris was amazing, and made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. Our room was next to the pool for easy access, with perfect mountain and sea views. The room had everything we needed, and Chris even left us a bottle of his homemade wine 🍷 We will definitely be back next year for two weeks!

Avec ma petite famille, nous avons passé un excellent séjour. L'accueil a été particulièrement chaleureux et agréable. Notre hôte a été d'une très grande gentillesse et attentionné. Le véritable coup de coeur reste la superbe vue sur le balcon, un vrai plaisir pour prendre le petit déjeuner. Nous recommandons cette adresse.

A noter juste que pour 4 adultes, la seconde chambre est un peu moins adaptée, les lits n'etant pas les plus confortables pour des adultes. Cela étant, nous avons apprécié notre séjour.

Locația foarte frumoasă și liniștită, aproape de mare și de taverne, iar Chris un om deosebit, tot timpul se interesa dacă mai avem nevoie de ceva.

The property is very close to the beach and all other facilities such as shops, restaurants and other entertainment. It’s very clean and well maintained. Swimming pool is very clean and very good condition. Chris was very kind enough to accommodate us for an additional 6 hours without charge after our official check outs as we had a late flight back to UK.

Stunning views, very spacious 2 bed apartment with lovely huge wraparound balcony. Nice pool, very quiet. Had it to ourselves most of the time. Location convenient too, short stroll down the hill to the restaurants, beach etc. The owner Chris is a lovely man, available 24/7 and so friendly checking if we needed anything throughout our stay. Definitely recommend.

Het is geweldig. Chris bedankt!!! Wij komen al meer als 18 jaar in Stalis. Maar dit appartement en de eigenaar. Stekken met kop en schouders boven alles uit. Waar we tot nu toe hebben gezeten. De accomodaties ruim schoon. En de eigenaar is een geweldige gastheer. Kluis en airco zitten bij de prijs in.

Er viel niets tegen. Eén ding kan zijn als je geen vervoer hebt tegen vallen dat de wandeling naar het appartement als pittig kan worden ervaren.

What a fantastic apartment we stayed in. Chris was fantastic in communicating prior to our visit and throughout. We stayed in the Mirela Apartment and it was beautiful. Beds- comfy, double bed in bedroom & sofa bed and another single in sitting room. Balcony- AMAZING!! Panoramic views, big table with 6 chairs, a BBQ and everything you would need for this. Lots of lovely touches, air con included, tea/ coffee, book shelves, very well equipped kitchen with full fridge freezer. Has a pool with about 10 beds. Always able to get a bed at some point during day. Bit of a hill to walk back from bars/ restaurants/ beach, but views on way up helped! There is an underpass to cross the busy road, about 5min down onto main strip from the apartments. Would book here again tomorrow!! Such a lovely Find and a very friendly and welcoming host!!

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The owner was warm and welcoming, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the amenities exceeded expectations. The location was perfect, and the overall atmosphere made it feel like a home away from home. Highly recommend!

The property was spotless and a great size! The bed was really large and comfortable. The shower had good pressure. All facilities needed were included. Everything you need is there. The pool area was clean and well looked after. Chris was a great host. Would 100% stay again if I returned to Stalis!

Prachtige appartementen op hooggelegen locatie met uitzicht op het zwembad, de zee en de bergen. Onze gastheer Chris is heel servicegericht en zorgt dat je tijdens je vakantie onbezorgd kan genieten van het zwembad en het mooie appartement. Bij aankomst wachtte Chris ons al op en droeg de koffers naar ons appartement met als welkomstgeschenk een fles witte wijn ( uit de wijngaard van zijn familie) en een fles water in de koelkast. Wij voelden ons meteen thuis en hebben heel erg genoten. Op 5 minuten afstand heb je de supermarkt Maria en restaurant Tsjourlis. Het strand is ongeveer 10 minuten lopen via ondergrondse tunnel met de bijbehorende horeca gelegenheden. Je hoeft je in Stalis niet te vervelen er is voor ieder wat te doen. Dit appartementen complex is een absolute aanrader!

Superbe résidence avec piscine - très confortable - propre et bien située. Climatisation très appréciée. Appartement 2 chambres très grands et parfait pour une famille de 5. Accueil de Chris exceptionnel avec de nombreuses petites attentions : conseils, eau, vin... Je recommande vivement

Chris es un anfitrión estupendo, siempre dispuesto a ayudar, nos ha permitido hacer el check-out más tarde porque teníamos el vuelo por la tarde. El hotel se encuentra a 5-10 minutos caminando de la playa y del centro del pueblo. La habitación que cogimos era sencilla, pero tenía todo lo necesario, incluso una mesa en el patio para uso privado. La piscina también está muy bien.

El baño de nuestra habitación era un poco pequeño, nadie ha hecho la habitación durante 4 días de estancia, pero son detalles muy pequeños.

Samen met onze kinderen van 17, 14 en 12 jaar hebben we een fantastische vakantie gehad. Het appartement is ruim en erg schoon. Prima keuken om zelf te koken, maar ook voldoende restaurants in de omgeving om uit eten te gaan. Klein zwembad wat keurig onderhouden is met prima ligbedden. We hadden een 6 persoons appartement met uitzicht op de zee. Het strand en de boulevard liggen op ongeveer 5 minuten lopen van het strand. De eigenaar Chris is zeer gastvrij. Altijd in de buurt als je hem nodig hebt of voor een gezellig praatje. Beddengoed wordt op verzoek verschoond net als de handdoeken. We hebben een auto gehuurd en leuke uitstapjes gemaakt, voornamelijk in het noordoosten van Kreta. Kortom we hebben genoten en raden dit appartement zeker aan bij anderen.

The apartment is in a perfect location with beautiful views of the sea and the mountains. Spacious enough for five people to stay comfortably, and easily accessible even without a car, as there is a bus stop nearby. We received a warm welcome – we were able to arrive earlier, leave our luggage, and spend some time by the pool. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, although cooking sometimes required a bit of “Greek patience.” Fortunately, we discovered it during our trip, and it didn’t stop us from fully enjoying two weeks of relaxation. A special thanks to Chris, who made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. He was attentive, friendly, and truly contributed to the high Booking rating. Stalis itself has a wonderful sandy beach, which made our holiday even more enjoyable.

En plus d'un logement parfait (spacieux, magnifique vue, bien équipé, literie très confortable et bien propre), nous avons été très bien accueillis, les hôtes sont adorables. Merci pour ce séjour, nous recommandons à 100%

There was no such a thing

Beliggenheten med en fenomenal utsikt. Stor veranda, romslige rom med mye skapplass, nok kjøkkenutstyr. Nett lite basseng som aldri var overfylt. Kort vei til supermarked og sentrum. For ikke å snakke om verten Chris som var/er fantastisk, i kjøleskapet sto det både vann og en flaske vin da vi kom.

Mislikte ingenting, men vil nevne at med en familie på fem i 9 døgn burde det vært skiftet både håndklær og sengetøy i hvertfall minst en gang. Det hadde vel blitt gjort hvis vi hadde bedt om det, men jeg mener at dette er noe en ikke skal be om. Men utover dette er det ingenting å klage på.

Le logement était vraiment top et idéal pour une famille de 5 personnes. Notre hôte était extrêmement serviable et disponible (merci pour le vin qui était très bon!). La piscine est très agréable et l'hôtel est a peine a 5 min d'une bonne plage. Si vous voulez de la tranquillité a deux pas des plages et commerces je recommande sans hésiter. Merci beaucoup.

Super Aufenthalt. Das Apartment ist toll gelegen. Man ist in 2-3 min im Zentrum. Auch wurden wir immer gefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist und ob uns was fehlt. Wirklich aufmerksam. Auch haben wir tipps erhalten wo das essen gut ist. Wirklich zu empfehlen. Alles war auch sauber. Zimmer genug gross. Schöne Aussicht vom Zimmer aus. Pool ist nicht so gross, aber es reicht vollkommen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten.

Everything about our stay at Villiana was just perfect, so close to the beach and all the restaurants. There is also a little shop at the bottom of the road which has everything you would need. The facilities were spot on - everything worked well and the kitchen was well stocked. Pool area great and never too busy so we always had a sun bed. The bottle of wine and Chris the owner was the icing on the cake! Highly recommend and when we return to Stalis we will be booking a sea view room again. Stunning views!

Everything was perfect, beds are very comfortable, our patio was amazing. Chris was super helpful, he gave us a lot of suggestions and was very kind. Stalida is a beautiful and family friendly destination.

The property was superbly kept by owner Chris, we had the 1 bedroom apartment called Mirella which had an enormous terrace with panoramic views of the mountains and sea, the terrace also had a hugh bbq with charcoal supplied. The property has 8 apartments so the pool area was never busy and sun beds were always available. Stalis main strip with lots of restaurants, bars and shops just 500 metres away. Chris the owner very friendly with advise on tours, site seeing, restaurants etc. We found Villiana the perfect accommodation for our stay in Crete.

Chris, the host, was excellent providing good communication before and during our stay, lots of advice on transport, restaurants and places to visit and generally did everything he could to help and make our stay more enjoyable. The apartment was clean, spacious, well lit and airy and had good outside space. The facilities and equipment were all good, The location was excellent, quiet but less than 5 mins walk to a supermarket, beach and restaurants, and also a bus stop.

There was nothing not to like, the only minor improvement for ideal would have been a washing machine.

Fantastic host, great communication The apartment had everything you could need- however we spent all our time sat on the huge balcony area which had the most wonderful view of the sea, what better way to while away your time than watching the boats, jet skis and paragliders. Just over the main road with safe underpasses to cross over. 5 mins walk to the beach and all amenities

Small downside is the entrance to the apartments was via about 10 steep steps which could be an issue if mobility issues...a handrail may help with this.

Villiana came to feel like a home away from home. Chris was an amazing host, helping us in so ways - big and small. The location was excellent - an easy walk to the local beach and restaurants and central for exploring the whole eastern side of Crete. We loved our 2 bedroom apartment with a table outside under an orange tree and right beside the clean, deep pool and lounge chairs. The pool was a bit chilly at the end of October but it would be amazing in summer. The apartment had everything you need - a simple kitchen, 2 bathrooms, comfy beds, AC and lots of space - both inside and out, clean and a friendly responsive host.

We have only great words to say about our host Chris. We ended up staying for one night only, and had to cancel the rest of our stay unexpectedly, and he was so forthcoming and so kind and flexible and understanding! Moreover, the unit was lovely, and the complex is wonderful as Chris has put much love and effort into creating comfortable and accommodating environment.

The accommodation Andi its surroundings are nice and clean. The neighborhood ist quiet. The owner, Chris, is very nice and helpful. The apartment is spacious, view is wonderful. We had a great time.😍

A beautiful complex in a pretty part of Crete. Pool quiet, loungers comfortable, water the perfect temperature for a cooling dip. The rooms were spotlessly clean - towels replaced regularly and beds changed, too. Power shower excellent after a day at the beach. Air conditioning helpful to cool room before a restful night. Two real highlights for me. The gardens, trees, and flowers around the Apartments are just beautiful. Lovely smells and environment. The views, too, are to die for. Just stunning. Thanks to Chris and family for an unforgettable week at Villiana ☀️❤️

Chris the owner met us at reception. What a lovely man! Warm and friendly throughout our stay without being in your face. The studio room was perfect, bed super comfy and air-con super quiet. Lots of little extras included like complimentary water, cleaning products etc. 5 minute walk to town centre but very quiet area. could not fault Villiana and can’t wait to go back.

The apartment was a short 5 minute walk uphill and my husband struggled with this due to his mobility problems. However that was not their fault!

Our appartment was very spacious, clean, the pool was perfect and not very occupied. We had nice sea view from our terasse. The communication with Chris was very easy and we got also recommendation for really great restaurants around. Parking slot was always free for our car. The beach and small town with shops and restaurants is in walking distance. Air conditioning and wifi worked well.

Location was great. The pool was quiet and lovely. View from our balcony was fab.

Didn't like having to ask for clean sheets and towels. The toilet tissue bin should be changed daily without having to ask. When we did ask, it wasn't a problem, but I think the toilet bin should be changed daily anyway. Our room was 1 bedroom for 2 adults and 2 children both rooms had aircon which was a life saver. Our adult children had a 2 bedroom apartment for 4 adults, and only the double bedroom had aircon. The other 2 adults had to move their matress into the lounge due to the heat as this was where the aircon was. The owner did not like this and called them disrespectful. He said he hadn't put aircon in the second bedroom due to children sleeping in there, this did not make sense as our 2 children's beds were directly under the aircon. I do not think that this should've been brought up to us as we were enjoying family time around the pool. He should make sure all his guests are comfortable and instead of making them feel awful about trying to get a good night sleep maybe invest in another aircon unit!

everything about this property is exceptional. Chris greeted us and had arranged a taxi to the villa from the airport. He is warm and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the week. the villa is beautifully maintained and clean with every need catered for. From the beds to the kitchen area and the best part…the balcony with views over the sea and pool. The pool area is clean with loungers and parasols and clips to hold your towels in place. A shower for before and after swimming. The pool itself is clean, crystal clear and the perfect temperature, just right for total relaxation. A short walk across to the beach and shops and restaurants through an underpass so you didn’t have to cross the road. Bus services are amazing too with one every 30mins to heraklion and malia, but they only take cash.

if i’m being really picky the wifi is a bit intermittent but i didn’t really need it and the chairs would be better if they had felt covers on the legs, as the people in the villa above us kept scrapping their chairs across the tile floors at all hours.

Super spacious and comfortable apartment, with fully equipped kitchen. Short 3 min walk to the beach, supermarket and restaurants, but in a secluded charming corner with a view of the bay. Very nice terrace and pool. Very quiet and bucolic atmosphere and nice neighbors. 5 min by car from Malia, 30 min from the airport. Chris was super kind and helpful, with lots of good advice and tips. I would definitely come back.

All perfect. The position very close to the beach, the pool, the big balcony with sea view, the coziness of the facility. Chris was really kind and full of advise about place, food, leisures, etc.

We stayed in a lovely, spacious apartment comprised of two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and located right beside the pool. It had a beautiful, private terrace, perfect for peaceful breakfasts, that was accessed from the kitchen via a large glass door that let in lots of light. Each bedroom had two very comfortable beds. The powershowers were great after a day on the beach. The views from the hotel over Stalis towards the sea were stunning and the planting around the hotel was delightful and enhanced its appearance. The hotel was very close to all local amenities and the lovely beach. Nothing was too much trouble for Chris, who was an excellent and helpful host.

Group of 6. The room had ample space. Used the pool while waiting for my turn to shower which was really relaxing. Had some parking space outside.

The location gives access to many places however be aware that if Malia/hersonisos is not your type of night-out, other destinations are 20-30' away with car.

10 min away from the beach, quiet location, very clean. The appartment is well equiped, you can cook your meals at home if you want . It also have an ironing station (with a mini table and iron machine). The staff is very friendly. The swimmingpool was open till 8 a'clock and that was great for the kids. The rooms we stayed in was very large. We also had a big terrace where we could sit.

Overall we had an excellent stay. We appreciated the friendly reception and the lovely pool!

The room was a little dank/damp - there was a bad smell from the bathroom drain and the bedroom was a bit dark inside. It was also a bit noisy at night with people coming in and stopping outside the door and talking.

I can highly recommend. Great place to stay ! Next time we will stay longer. Pool for Kids and adults . Quiet and clean. Thank You

We liked everything: location, view from apartments, the size of apartments!!! In general apartments are very comfortable and spacious. And Chris hospitality is incredible!!! We really liked our stay in Villiana and we will come back, for sure!

Another fabulous stay at Villiana. We had three apartments for a family holiday, and we were all very pleased with them. The view of the mountains and sea from the top floor was just outstanding, and the balcony had just the right amount of sun and shade. The apartments were well equipped (even towels to take down to the pool or beach) and exceptionally clean. Nothing was too much trouble for Chris the owner and we look forward to arranging our next visit for next year.

We stayed at Villianas in September 2022 and really enjoyed our stay. Chris was an excellent host and the Seaview was amazing! The room was nice with a big bed and living area. We could walk to stalks beach in 5 minutes and we’re just off the main road to get to other parts of the island. Would stay again

We did love everything about the apartment. It was very cozy, the view was breathtaking, the apartment was very clean. The owner upgraded us to a better room. Thank you! The owner was very helpful.

There should be more basic things in the kitchen such as salt, coffee, oil, tea or even milk. There was a dishwashing machine and a washing machine in the apartment, but no washing tablets. It would help leaving some behind. It is unpleasant to ask for such basic things.

There was nothing to dislike!

The apartment was very spacious and comfortable for the two of us, and it was great having air conditioning in both the bedroom and living room. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking. There was a really nice balcony with a lovely view of the sea, where we enjoyed having breakfast each morning. The pool was also very nice, though we only used it once as the beach was so close (about 5 mins walk). Chris was a great host, very friendly and helpful. Stalida was a great location to be based, relaxed and unpretentious with a nice choice of restaurants and bars and lots of sun loungers available. It's also a good base for trips further east or to Heraklion/Knossos (about a 30 min drive). The beach had lovely calm clear blue water - my partner said it was his favourite of all that we visited in Crete!

Our room was an excellent size, beds were very comfortable & everything was immaculately clean

We had a wonderful time at Villiana. The sea view from our spacious terrace was definitely a highlight. The room was clean, spacious and well-appointed including the kitchen. Free parking and very close to town. Chris was another highlight of our trip. What a great host! We felt very welcome and he provided us with great advice. We'd love to return one day!
