It’s cheap but doesn’t worth more than 50€ for the apartment on the the ground floor apartment that were given. Those on the high floors are probably better. Michael is a friendly staff. Good location, just one big road to cross to reach the center and beaches. Good cafe next door.

Extra 8€/night for air conditioning. Kitchenette with zero accessories. Sticky floor.

Great proximity to local shops and restaurants.

The only downside was sometimes the traffic from the main road outside could be quite noisy

Le studio convient en réalité à 3 personnes plutôt qu’à 4, contrairement à ce qui est annoncé. Le quatrième couchage est un petit banc en bois surmonté d’un matelas, qui peut éventuellement convenir à un jeune enfant, mais certainement pas à un adulte. Impression de désordre général. L’établissement semble encore en phase de mise route et a, selon moi, un potentiel, mais plusieurs points mériteraient d’être revus pour correspondre aux attentes suscitées par l’annonce.

Arrived just after midnight, no one there to greet us , just a scrappy piece of paper stuck on a wall with surname and room number- instant red flag! Found our ‘room’ ground floor tiny, smelly, no balcony or terrace just a rusty table and chairs outside front door, on a walkway facing a wall, which had a piece of string nailed to it for a washing line. No choice but to sleep there for the night. Next morning, we asked to change rooms but was told have to wait for his wife to deal with it at around midday, so went to the beach for the morning. We returned around 13:30, but in an I don’t care attitude he said, his wife was still out shopping spending his money!!! When looking around nothing else looked much better unloved pool area reception and bar an absolute tip. We cut our loses packed up and left out of pocket but happier. If you want an owner that cares for their hotel, surroundings but most importantly their guests then don’t stay here!!!!

Peace of mind. Very welcoming staff and on top of that a quiet area. The accommodation is fairly clean and the pool is the cherry on top. General a good place to chill and relax and enjoy your stay 👌👌

Πολύ ωραίος χώρος, άνετο δωμάτιο και ευγενέστατο προσωπικό ανεξαιρέτως. Πολύ βοηθητικοί όλοι!

Θα προτιμούσα να μπορούσαμε να ανοιγοκλεινουμε το ερκοντισιον με χειριστήριο. Οταν κάναμε μπάνιο έβγαζε λιγο νερό από το σιφόνι στο τέλος ,και έτσι το μπάνιο ήταν πάντα βρεγμένο. Θέμα όμως που λυνόταν γρήγορα και δεν επηρέασε την άριστη διαμονή μας!!

I was stopping at Iraklis for the third time and got allocated an excellent room . It had recently been upgraded and one facility which I ve never see before is that their is a second mesh sliding door outside the original one which allows air into the room on a night while keeping the mosquitoes out. Excellent idea. Maria is always friendly towards her customers always doing her best. I stayed 5 nights and the cleaners came in twice. I had an excellent view from my balcony and even saw the sun rise one morning. For one person the apartment was very roomy.

Foto's waren netter dan het huidige appartement. Ik had 2 losse bedden een half jaar geleden geboekt, en ze waren niet beschikbaar. Dat is niet comfortabel en conform afspraak. P

Nichts. Renovierungsbedürfrig, alte Möbel, kleine Zimmer, Personal unfreundlich und Zimmer nicht sauber.

Daar kan ik niet echt op antwoorden want ons verblijf was na een ongeval maar 6 dagen i.p.v. 6 weken

The staff was completely amazing. Willing to help with anything and extremely knowledgeable. The location itself is perfect. There is a bar, a pool and a restaurant all on site. There is a bakery right next door. Youre walking distance from the beach and a town full of food and shops. Youre within driving distance of many sites.

Honestly this is nothing the hotel can control, but the parking is a little rough. The street you park on is a very busy street and getting in and out can sometimes be a challenge. Although this is normal, is was still a little rough

Staff are very friendly and helpful go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable. Perfect location, clean rooms and excellent value for money.

Fabulous apartments in centre of Stalis so perfect location. Rooms very spacious and clean with everything you need in little kitchenette. Stavros and Maria are the perfect owners who make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Swimming pool is a sun trap with plenty of sun beds available. Beach is 5 mins walk, bakery next door, supermarket across the road and lots of lovely tavernas and bars in walking distance. Bus stop is right outside apartments too. Great value for money and am a regular visitor to these apartments and will be returning again next month.

Good position next to a bakery. Supermarket across the road and nice places to eat. Not far to walk to the beach. We upgraded to the newer rooms which is well worth doing. We really enjoyed watching the goats from the balcony and feeding the tortoise.

We arrived when some building work was being completed so went to the beach to avoid the noise. This could not be helped as we were early in the season. Cleaners were very nice but did not really understand what they needed to do. We had to remind them that we had been missed out and this was soon rectified by them.

Sinvergüenzas, reservé apartamento triple y me dieron uno doble angosto toda la estancia de 8 noches. Se negaban a poner la 3° cama. La última noche me subieron un sofá sin patas sucio y lo dejaron en la cocina sin sabanas ni nada. Nunca me había pasado algo así. Mirad bien las fotos, en apartamento triple de 1 habitación no existe la 3° cama ni hay espacio!!! Te plantan un sofá al lado del horno, si te lo llegan a poner. Una estafa

El trato de la dueña María fue horrible, fue muy violenta el trato gritándome en repetidas ocasiones en la recepción delante de los clientes. Yo solo reclamaba la 3° cama porque reservé triple el trato fue horrible. No vengáis, no están preparados para trabajar ni dar un servicio correcto. Tuve que reservar otro lugar. No hay aire acondicionado porque no dan el mando. Internet no funciona y el agua caliente a ratos. Si se reserva triple tienen que dar triple, es básico. Imaginad lo demás, mojo en la ducha, suciedad pero lo peor el trato.

My apartment was amazing and the owner Maria got me a ground floor apartment as requested as I have a back problem. Maria was so helpful in every way got me a hairdryer and iron straight away when I asked for it.

Clean bedding but didn't get changed in 8 days. Towels only1 and changed once

Shower broken head moldy edging needing a good scrub. It was self catering but no dishcloth or teatowel so the people before obviously put glasses back in swilled but still dirty. Apartment had no sunshine at all although it had balcony so be aware. On my leaving day asked for towel to have a shower in the clients area and they weren't too happy to offer me one 🙃

The room it was very small! Under the bed was so unclean, no one mopped that day. Just nothing to do with what we were waiting. I don’t think we will go back ever again.

*Review for Iraklis Apartments, Crete* The location of Iraklis Apartments is definitely a strong point – very close to the beach, shops open until midnight, and you don’t need a car to explore nearby attractions, which is very convenient. However, the accommodation itself was disappointing. The rooms were clean, but there was a charge for air conditioning, and although it's a self-catering apartment, the cooker was extremely slow – even making scrambled eggs took 30 minutes. The pans were old and scratched, and there was no coffee, tea, shower gel, or shampoo provided on arrival. Towels were only changed on the 4th day, which is poor, especially in hot weather when you shower more often. Only one pool was available, and our view was of a wall – not the sea as we hoped. The owner’s husband was not friendly or welcoming. He didn’t allow us to bring our own drinks to the pool, even though this was not an all-inclusive stay. The reception/bar/kitchen area was small, messy, and not very pleasant. They even kept parrot in the same area where food was being prepared, which felt unhygienic. Overall, the location was excellent, but due to the poor facilities and unfriendly atmosphere, I would consider staying elsewhere next time.

No one around to greet us on arrival, a unclear note left on reception window to tell us the key was in the room, no signs to know where to go to find room. Sheets were dirty and fridge was leaking. Was not impressed with this facility. Luckily we were only staying one night as we ended up flying out earlier and had other accommodation booked the rest of the week.

We were a little nervous given the previous couple of reviews but had nothing to worry about. Check in was delayed but to be fair it meant we had a better room in the end. Room was spacious, had seemingly been recently refurbished, and it was well equipped with a brand new kettle in the kitchenette, hairdryer and iron. Room was cleaned regularly with clean towel and bedding during our 10 day stay. We opted for air-con which was very good and hired a fan for the other area of the apartment. Pool area was nice and the food and drinks were really well priced. Maria and Stavros were very friendly and made everyone feel welcome. Can't understand the previous reviews but no complaints from us!

Location perfect just 5 minutes stroll from beach and tavernas just off the main road but was easy to cross and nit noisey. The rest such a shame really has potential 1 bedroom apartment good size the bathroom especially shower area very dirty we stayed for 12 days had regular clean towels which were OK bed linen clean but all sheets had holes. The apartment & balcony not swept at all we managed to find a broom on ground floor and did it ourselves. As said by others just rubbish old furniture,inflatables and so much other stuff just cluttered everywhere. The pool which is shown on love holidays is for private use only the other pool did not look inviting only 3 umbrellas maybe they had more but certainly not out and it was very hot during our stay we were quite happy to use the beach. Overall this was a cheap holiday just a base I would not revisit and there is better out there for same price so will do better re-search next time.

Arrived at 2.30 pm and was told 4 hour wait till room was ready shower In the room was filthy . Below the balcony was broken inflatable and other rubbish to look at . Pool was constantly covered in flies . Sunbed were stained and also broken . Mop buckets and rubbish were on show and left as you walked to ur appartment. The pool table /ice hockey table was covered with a broken slide and chair and other rubbish. . There was a dirty cot outside an appartment on the ground floor that had a broken pram and other rubbish in it This was the most disappointing holiday I've had in a long while . Pictures on the holiday web site do not resemble the place . The area where u use your safety deposit boxes/reception had items piled high behind the desk . The most dirty untidy place I've had to stay ever

Our stay was nice, beds could be more comfortable. Nice and quite apts, supermarket quite close, Maria Nice host.

This is a Family Business and the Hosts made us feel at home. we have returned many times because of the warmth of their hospitality

Our second long weekend staying here in both April and May and what a great time we had. Maria, Stavros and their family are fab made us so welcome. Our rooms on our first visit were great and our next little trip there was just 2 of us this time and we had a great room at front with a balcony which was an added bonus..was lovely looking out after a day at beach or around the pool just chilling...we had food and drinks most days which we enjoyed and I must admit Stavros made a lovely cup of tea 😁 saving up for my next trip Maria x

I liked the location of the property and how close it was to all the best parts of the area, however the overall stay at the hotel was poor, no room cleaning, ants in the rooms, hospitality was poor and they were very rude a lot of the time. And there was an incident where someone threw a giant party with a microphone at 1:00am and woke up the whole apartment complex and the owners wouldn’t answer the hotline for any immediate issues. Overall the area was amazing and was a pleasant trip and I would be back but I will definitely be choosing a different hotel. I would also suggest people look at Google reviews of this place before making a decision as a lot of the issues we had were relayed throughout the years. Seems nothing has changed.

Gute Lage, Strand ist fußläufig erreichbar in 5 min. Maria eine tolle und nette Gastgeberin die mir sehr gute tips gegeben hat.

Best hotel I have ever stayed at. The hosts were lovely, kind and welcoming. Stalis is a beautiful place and this hotel is perfect for families, friend groups, couple and everyone in general. Would definetely recommend and I will be staying there again xx.

The negative comments on this platform seem ridiculous, if you expect 5 star hotel apartments go to 5 star hotels 😄 at Iraklis you’ll pay cheap and get really good value! The apartment we stayed this time was amazing with beautiful panoramic view of mountains and sea. Comfortable beds! Towel change every 3 days or upon request. Staff that already feels like family 🇬🇷🤍 see you next year!

A lot of steps.

The location was good. The apartment had what was needed for a holiday. Cleaner very good, replaced towels, sheets when needed.

Need more steps into the pool, too much of a gap from the last step to the bottom of the pool. One of the steps was loose. Pool quite deep. Two pools but only allowed to use one???. When booking through booking.com, extras are stated, but aircon isn't down as an extra cost. So when I went to register, I was faced with this extra expense of €105. Asked to pay in cash for aircon but refused as I didn't have the means to, mostly use card when away, safer. Think the owner was upset about this and not much interaction after that.

The perfect base for a budget holiday, I’ve stayed for a week and it was less than £400 to come here, I paid 10.50€ for the island tax and 15€ for a safety deposit box the day after I arrived, I got to the apartments about 2am and there was a note on the door to tell me my room number(19) and how to find it! It was very basic but clean and the towels were perfectly white and fluffy! A bottle of water in the fridge arriving at that time would have been nice! I’ve enjoyed my stay so much that I’m coming back again in June next year for two weeks….. Travelling solo I felt safe and comfortable here on my own, the menu consists of light snacks and I had eggs on toast a couple of times for breakfast and it was good and just 4.50€….. Really don’t want to go home tomorrow!!

Not the first stay here and as usual amazing! Comfy apartments, simple yet everything you might need for Greece experience. Clean rooms, comfy beds, constant cleaning and bedsheet, towel change. Friendly and helpful staff. Stavros and Maria are top notch 🤍

Location is Near the main road , but there is underpasses 100mtrs , away and you can cross the road mostly anytime like any town .

That i could not stay longer as we were just properly getting to know our Hosts . Wonderful & Friendly.

It’s important to note these are apartments not a hotel. We arrived around 3am due to delays and there was a note on the door with directions to our room and the key in the door. Happy to not need to speak to anyone however we had to go on quite a walk to find somewhere that sold water at this time to see us through the night. There are two separate beds pushed together, a single pillow and a single sheet, the beds slip apart all night if you try and sleep together. The next morning at the pool (which is rather small) the lady at the bar didn’t acknowledge us or get off her phone so we could get a drink, when she did she wasn’t very friendly so we had a drink and left for the beach. Upon our return we were asked to pay the tax or whatever it is along with the air con which came to 60 euros. Later we got 2 vodka red bulls round the pool which was 18 euros and we were looked upon with disgust for laughing, we didn’t return to the pool. The room is fine for changing and sleeping but the shower didn’t stay on the wall so we had to hold it. The location is excellent however and a 2 minute walk from the Stalis strip/ beach front. There are lots of restaurants that offer free sunbeds if you buy a drink. The price is likely a lot cheaper than a hotel on the beach front.

Lovely basic Greek self catering apartments, clean pool area with plenty of comfy sunbeds. Reasonable pool but for drinks and snacks. Everything you need for a good base to go our abd about. Good location to bars and resturants over the main road but there us an underpass if it's busy. Friendly owners Maria and Stavros are really helpful. We would stay again. Thanks laura and Mike.
