Our stay was excellent! The staff were absolutely lovely, so helpful, welcoming, and accommodating. They truly went the extra mile to help us celebrate a special life milestone, which made our stay even more memorable. Breakfast was fantastic and served directly to our room each morning, which was such a treat. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, including the bathroom. We also had a stunning view and a large terrace that was perfect for relaxing and taking in the scenery. The hotel also made everything incredibly easy during our stay. Booking transfers and arranging quad/car rentals through them was seamless. We also took advantage of the laundry service, which was so convenient, with everything returned to us the same day. There are quite a few steps to get to the hotel and to move between different areas of the property, but that’s Santorini! We just considered it a nice little way to get the blood pumping in the morning. We had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend staying here!

The hotel was amazing, the service was fantastic! The staff went above and beyond, breakfast also very good served in your balcony, plenty of options there. Pool was nice and quiet, pool service extraordinary considering the amount of steps from bar to pool. They even take luggage to the taxi

Breathtaking views, beautiful room, amazing breakfast. More than anything else, Mayra the manager, was the kindest and sweetest host and she did her best to make our stay perfect.

The staff was terrific, truly made us feel like we were special guests. The view was amazing, world class. Breakfast was a blast, way too much food - and terrific too. Our room was great, plenty of space for our two kids (13/10), and then our own room as well. With only ~12 rooms, the property felt intimate and we made friends quickly. Very positive experience!!

As expected, food and drink are pricey. But not unique to the area.

From the moment we arrived we were in awe of the incredible views from this property. We arrived just on sunset to the twinkling lights of Santorini and the sun going down over the Caldera. The room was super cute with comfy bed, the pool refreshing with spectacular views, the staff warm and friendly and breakfast delicious!!! The property has lots of steps so you need to be able to navigate these. It was close by to some delicious restaurants and all the shops and markets! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again ❤️

First of all, the hotel’s location and the view from the rooms were truly exceptional. Being right in the centre of Fira, within walking distance of some of the best restaurants and charming little shops, made our stay convenient and enjoyable. The view from the balcony is everything you could wish for in Santorini. Having breakfast there while enjoying the breathtaking sea view made every morning feel extra special — and somehow made breakfast even more “delicious.” Well, the same goes for the view from the pool. Finally, I have to mention the wonderful hotel staff, especially the lovely Mayra. Everyone was kind, welcoming, hospitable, and always ready to help with anything we needed.

The view was spectacular. We had our own private balcony and it was lovely to eat breakfast there every morning. The staff were absolutely amazing and the food was delicious. We had breakfast, lunch, and cocktails at the hotel. We enjoyed the rooftop bar. It was nice to be able to relax there after a day of exploring. Each person we spoke to was absolutely lovely and extremely helpful in answering questions or providing recommendations. I would definitely come back and stay here again.

Central location with breathtaking view

Location was unbelievable

For the price we paid I would have expected something warm like a welcome basket of a selection of items and drinks. The bar prices there for food was quite expensive

breakfast served in room (outside the room , we had a terrace), staff called for taxis and excursions nd what's up was used mainly for accommodation. suggested by managers restaurants were easy to reach by strolling and served delicious food traditional and cultural.

bars and restaurants do not know how to make bloody Mary cocktails :), all of available cocktails are sweet and delicious, but sometimes customers need bloody Mary

Breakfast delivered to our terrace was one of the tastiest ever (we were able to select time and dishes, very handy, but very tasty and healthy also). Fabulous hospitality from all the staff, going out of their way to get us into good restaurants at short notice. Beautiful room, stunning views and location. I recommend private transfers to and from, well worth it.

Brilliant rooms overlooking the Caldera with delicious breakfasts enjoying the view. Mayra gave perfect recommendations on photographer and cooking class.

The pool umbrellas were too small and useless. The umbrellas didn’t cover half the sunlounge.. In the heat of the afternoon there was no shade.

Mayra and her team were exceptional! The staff was very helpful even when our AC broke, we were quickly given another room while the repair was being made. The hotel is just steps away from the main area of Fira. The porters carried our heavy luggage to and from the drop off point. Having breakfast delivered to our room each morning was an absolute delight. Food and drinks can be delivered pool side! Lastly, the view from our room was incredible. Nothing like waking up each morning to the tremendous views of the caldera from your room. You will not be disappointed staying at the Porta Fira suites. Definitely worth every cent! Tell Ms Mayra that Mr Lenny sent you! 😀

A wonderful property built into the hillside overlooking the sea so great views from every balcony. Room had excellent air-conditioning, a comfy bed and was kept immaculately clean. Every member of staff was so friendly and helpful - the man who hefted our suitcases onto his shoulders and carried them down the myriad of steps; the people who delivered huge trays of delicious breakfast at our chosen time straight to our balcony/terrace; the cleaning staff who were always friendly and nothing was too much trouble; and particularly Mayra at reception who made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived and took such a genuine interest in talking to us. It was lovely to be just a few minutes walk away from the main part of town but in a quieter location. I would thoroughly recommend Porta Fira Suites.

Location and the staff! Pool was amazing.

The property was fantastic, beautiful location, amazing service by Mayra (and everyone else), breakfast was outstanding and facilities were great, room and pool were clean and had everything you needed.

Steps, but they are part of staying in Fira. Porters are available to get luggage to and from room, so steps aren’t really an issue.

Le personnel est agréable professionnelle et adorable. Ils sont véritablement au service du client pour que ce dernier passe un moment exceptionnel dans leur hôtel. L’emplacement est parfait et le petit déjeuner est très bon.

קודם כל השירות של הצוות במלון, היה וואו, מהרגע הראשון אירגנו לנו הסעה מהשדה שדאגה והביאה לנו את המזוודות עד לחדר, ברגע שהגענו קיבלנו משקה וואלקם דרינק, הביאו לנו מפה של האי, הראו לנו הכל ודאגו להסביר לנו את כל המידע האפשרי שתהיה לנו את החופשה הטובה ביותר. המלון ממוקם במיקום מעולה, מרחק הליכה של כמה מדרגות מהכל. החדר היה נקי עם נוף מדהים כל בוקר מחדשים את המים ומגישים את ארוחת הבוקר עד החדר (בוחרים מה רוצים כל יום לפני). בנוסף המלון עזר לנו להשכיר רכב ותיאם את הכל וענה לכל בקשה שהיינו צריכים. הבר קוקטיילים במלון מדהים, שתינו המון קוקטיילים בחופשה ושם היו ברמה גבוהה מאוד. הבריכה חמודה ממש, יש טלפון שאפשר להזמין משקאות מהבר היישר לבריכה. חוויה מדהימה.

לא מתאים למי שקשה לו עם מדרגות (למרות שכל האי דורש יכולת לעלות מדרגות), המלון לא נמצא במיקום רע.

This is the best property we have ever stayed in, and what a view. The staff were so attentive and caring and they made our stay so enjoyable from the moment we arrived. As taxis etc cannot arrive anywhere near the hotel because it is on the cliff face Arrangements were made for the porter to carry all our bags from the meeting point down to the hotel which involved a lot of steps and the same again upon departure. The whole ordeal of getting to and from the hotel would have been very difficult without this service. The most delicious breakfast was served to us on our balcony every morning with lots of options to choose from. If we are lucky enough to visit Santorini in the future we would not consider staying in any other property and will certainly recommend it to anyone we know.

The location & views were amazing. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. All the staff were friendly & helpful however I want to say a massive thank you to Mayra who I was communicating with before we arrived & who sorted out wine & a cake for my husband’s 60th birthday. It made his birthday in Santorini a special one. We so enjoyed Porto Fira suites & I would definitely recommend this accommodation & hope to visit again in the future.

Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux, varié et copieux, un vrai régal pour commencer la journée. On choisit chaque jour ce que l’on souhaite parmi une liste et il est apporté directement dans la chambre. L’hôtel, situé en bas de falaise, offre un calme absolu, loin de l’agitation des rues, avec une vue imprenable qui invite à la détente. Oui, il y a des marches pour y accéder, mais rien de détonant pour Santorin c’est ce qui fait son charme ! Un porteur nous aide pour les valises (le travail le plus difficile sur l’île, respect 🙏) Nous avons été ravis de chaque instant passé ici et recommandons vivement cet établissement à tous ceux qui recherchent un cadre exceptionnel et un service irréprochable. Nôtre objectif était de passer des vacances détentes il a été atteint. Merci pour ces moments magiques !

This was a remarkable high-level experience.

It can feel like many stairs but it totally worths, in the end, it has an excellent and privileged view to Santorini and the volcano thanks to that.

Excellent staff, especially Mayra who went above and beyond expectations, scheduling taxis, entertainment and overall enhancing our experience. Location and rooms were beautiful. Delicious included breakfast served to our patio!! We don't know what could be better. We will be sure to include the Porto Fita Suites in our next trip to Santorini.

Simply fantastic! We really had a super great vacation despite the bad weather! The hotel was amasingly situated with fantastic views (just look at the photo) towards the volcano and near some great places in Thira! Restaurants, museums, the taxi and bus stations were a few minutes walk away. Excellently maintained both internally and externally. Super clean rooms and verantas/terraces with external pool. Water was heated as promised and were fast to clean and maintain pools after a storm! Breakfast was super with many choices (some not in the menu so feel free to ask the staff). Both staff (Mayra and Natassa) were super helpful! They took care of things from the very begining. They helped with everything from the luggages to the restaurants and the excursions! Nothing more to ask really!

I liked the steps from Thira down to the hotel but might less easy for elderly people. Not undoable though! There is a longer route that is more accessible.

Really pretty and amazing views from every angle. The staff were amazing! Made me feel very welcomed and safe which was really important as a solo traveller. The location was also great and as the main walking path is behind, rooms have more privacy

We loved this property! The staff were very friendly and accommodated both an early check in and late check out (perhaps due to shoulder season). The location is ideal in Fira near the main square. The views from our beautiful suite with private thermal pool were breathtaking. Appreciated the private transfers and hotel porters who carried our bags up and down all the stairs. The complimentary breakfast brought to our room each morning was absolutely delicious. We visited in early April so didn’t have to fight the crowds but it was nice to know we could simply enjoy the famous sunset from our own room!

Delightful staff who all went above and beyond to make us comfortable and help sort out transport to and from the airport. Beautiful complex with simple and beautiful interiors in a classic, laid-back Greek style. Lovely breakfast each day with great range of choices. Very grateful for the help with luggage to and from arrival spot. (Lots of stairs to get up and down). Loved the hot tub (and view from it). Thankyou Mayra for your warmth & hospitality!

Building work at next door property started at 8am each day of our 4 night stay which was quite noisy. A lot of Santorini was still closed during our stay which led us to perhaps spend more time at Porto Fira than we would have done otherwise. We would have loved the opportunity to have a kettle and ability to make a cup of tea as standard in the room. Breakfasts were brought to the room each morning and dinners were available to order to the room. Unfortunately the only table and chairs settings were in the outdoor area and not undercover. As it rained quite consistently during our stay we were unable to use these. A small inside table and 2 chairs would have been great OR provide cover over the outdoor settings. Overhead cover to the spa would also have been useful.

The location was perfect. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The view couldn’t have been any more magical. Breakfast was also delicious and made fresh to order for us. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

GREAT place to stay in the heart of Fira. Great views and a comfortable room with all necessary amenities. Jacuzzi with overlook on the patio for our particular suite. Staff extraordinarily helpful and go out of their way to make your stay welcome and pleasant. They do serve breakfast if you like. Each evening you can turn in your order along with your preferred time and they will bring a tray with breakfast, juice and/or coffee of your choice. Location is great, although, understand in Fira or anywhere on Santorini, you will climb steps. Porto Fira was closest to everything. Of special note - they will arrange pick up and/or transfer to the port or airport. Just let them know ahead of time. We asked for a rental car on one of our days and they arranged it. Having a car allowed free range to tour the island and then the company picked the car up next day at the airport. Very helpful. Highly recommend Porto Fira Suites.

Musty sewer smell from pipes throughout most of our stay. Not overwhelming, but noticeable. Apparently it is normal for this throughout the island i’m told. Everything else about this place made up for that fault.

The views and the staff were simply amazing especially Miss Mayra on the front desk who was always ready to help with anything. As we went during off season, there was not much happening around Santorini and none of the good restaurants and activities were open. However the staff of Porto Fira was exceptional and made sure that we were able to spend quality time. We were also upgraded to a better suite as the one we originally booked had a foul smell coming from somewhere. All in all, it was one of the best stays we have had in a ling time.

The hotel is located on a steep 1000+ feet downhill and the climbs to get to anywhere were not possible for more than 1-2 times a day. So basically anyone with any joint or age related issues would have a serious issue staying at this property. Otherwise, this property is second to none in Santorini.

Wow, what a great hotel! We were not expecting it to be on the side of a cliff, so this hotel is definitely not for those needing accessibility (many steps). The cliff also meant the views were amazing! The porter was able to take our bags from the transportation to the room. Breakfast was phenomenal and was at our private balcony every morning. The staff were very kind. Would go back :)

I liked absolutely everything about the Porto Fira Hotel. The view was amazing, the room was so cozy with robes, slippers and a full bar! The breakfast, generous and CHEFS KISS delish! The staff had your breakfast delvered to your suite or patio precisley at the time we requested! Highly recommend this hotel!!
