Reviewed Aug 24, 2026We liked the location, very convenient to travel around Serra da Estrella. Also everything was very clean. We had a family room and it wasn't very big but our kids had two separate small beds. Also a great shower. Nice outdoor swimming pool. Overall, this hotel is not as spacious as other hotels we stayed in, but you can see there is a lot of attention to detail and cleanliness.
The swimming pool outside was nice but shallow, it doesn't really have a deep part. Apart from that, everything was good.

The room was modern, quiet, and very clean; the beds were comfortable, the view of Manteigas and the mountains from our private balcony was so peaceful; the staff and two brothers whose family runs the hotel were friendly and helpful; the location was within (rather hilly) walking distance from the center of town and the Burel factory (which has a very interesting tour if you're interested in all things wool); and our dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were delicious. (It also has an attractive pool area, but we didn’t swim.) So, basically, top marks for everything. We would definitely return.
