Reviewed Sep 5, 2026南小谷駅までシャトルサービスがあったこと（予約制）お食事のビュッフェが地元の食材を活かした豊富なメニューであったこと、家族にシニアがいるのでエレベーターが近いお部屋をリクエストしたら、対応してくださったことなどです。また、お部屋から山が良く見えて、イングリッシュガーデンもホテルの前にあり、お散歩がとても楽しかったです。カフェのジェラートがとても美味しいのでおすすめです。

朝のバイキングで美味しい牛乳を楽しみにしていましたが、容器が空っぽになっていました。スタッフの方に声をかけましたが、なかなか補充されず…ざんねん😞

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026古き良き大型ホテルという感じで、落ち着きと充分な満足感はありました 白馬を楽しむための立地の良さはもちろんのこと、朝夜のバイキングの食事、宿泊客を飽きさせないイベントはとてもよかったです 家族で2泊楽しませていただきました！
建物の古さは否めないので、絶妙な空調の悪さ（一定の場所しか冷やせず細やかに設定ができない）や、冷蔵庫の音が響いて夜の眠りが妨げられました(´ｰ｀)

Reviewed May 15, 2026We stayed on a whim and got a cool deal that included our meals (which are incredible buffets -- if they are included in your room price - can be pricy if you have to add it to the nightly cost). The hotel is definitely a bit of a throwback, and the rooms are old school. We chose to use the futons on tatami mats instead of sleeping on the western-style beds, which were not super comfortable. The place is so much fun, though, as its quirks are also its charms. The ski-on, ski-off nature of the place is magical, and the onsen is top-notch. Would love to come back someday for a future trip.

There's also a snow play area for young children and families, and indoor and outdoor onsen (hot springs). It's ideal for relaxation and includes breakfast and dinner – everything you need in one place.

Reviewed Jan 11, 2026'The palace' as we called it was amazing! The vintage decor transported us to a different era of elegance. The room was spacious and warm with an area to live as well as sleep. The onsen was amazing. Ski in ski out too. Other activities such as hot pot lunch in an igloo was a bonus.
The beginner slopes were not really beginner friendly and English lessons were limited to 600,000 yen private lessons. We went to the next ski resort over (Norikuri) by shuttle bus for our first day to get group English lessons and use their more forgiving beginner slopes to get the hang of it. After that we slowly got the hang of the steeper beginner slopes at Cortina. Overall, it was still far far better than our later stay at Tsugaike Kogan.

Reviewed Jan 8, 2026Room that overlooked the ski slopes. It was magical. Buffett breakfast and dinner options were great. Onsen in the hotel has such a vibe after a full day of snow activities. It has a partially outdoor section to make it special, being able to see the snow fall whilst you relax in the hot water is nice.
Room is definitely dated but it's comfortable and has everything you need.

Reviewed Jan 1, 2026Lovely onsen, and great ski in ski out location for Cortina. Onsite ski rental and locker storage. Ample free parking for self drive customers.
Property is dated, with fixtures and fittings needing upgrade - though everything kept very clean. Family rooms (sleeping up to 6) only having one bathroom was unexpected. Cortina unfortunately closed due to lack of snow whilst we were there… which then makes location inconvenient when you need to get to other resorts to ski. Ski rental shop could stay open later or try to cater to later check ins who want to rent the night before skiing.

Facility was dated and uncomfortable beds. Location was great if mountain was open, unfortunately it was closed during our stay and there is no village to explore so we spent lots of time on the valley bus. Probably a different experience if there was more snow!
