Great location for skiing Fantastic breakfast, both Japanese and European styles in individual breakfast room. Awesome onsen. Very friendly and accommodating staff

The only thing that was spoiling it was the smell of cigarette smoke in the common areas. (There was no smell in the room and in the dining area)

Delicious Japanese breakfast served every morning, discounted rental rates for skis/snowboards just next door. Convenience store just located across the road. Very close to the slopes. Public onsen available as well!

Staff were very stand-off and didnt really give the extra that you’d expect at a hotel, the shower is terrible after a long day at the ski field - it had a terrible angle that made it leak, no matter what you did, it was either extremely hot or extremely cold

The room was spacious.

The room is not soundproof at all. The walls and floor are thin and the door is noisy. You can hear everything even the boiler start and stop. I couldn’t sleep all night. The hotel charges 500 yen for luggage storage.

Location was excellent, 150 meters to chair lift and another 50m to Gondola, Staff were helpful and friendly, beds and room were fine, breakfast was good, great access to local bars and restaurants. Rental shop below was excellent.

Nice onsen on the top, locker for your snow gear, but the staff were unfriendly, and the room smelled like smoke.

It’s funky and old. The public bath was next to my door and it couldn’t been more perfect. It felt like it was my own private bath. The traditional Japanese rooms were comfortable. Highly recommend the breakfast. It was great. And awesome location. Prices were reasonable because unfortunately the area is turning into Niseko 2.0 with a bunch of aussies running around.

Smelt of smoke on the lobby but it’s also ancient.

Good location close to ski resort and restaurants. Breakfast was ok and room and onsen good.

Nasty stairs to ski lockers were tough and there was constant ice on property exit stairs that staff never dealt with in the week we were there.

Excellent location, 5mins walk from ticket office. There's a ski rental shop next to it as well, and you get discounts there being a hotel resident.

Staff's English can be improved, it's a bit hard to communicate with them. Breakfast was so-so too. Was expecting a larger drying area for clothes, but there's only storage space for skiboards and ski shoes.

Locker is at basement. The stair to Locker room is narrow.

Amazing breakfast, and perfectly located next to the Tsugaike ski slope. Also very close / right next to the bus stop that operates every 30min betweeen the other ski resorts. We conveniently also rented our skis + gear from the ski shop underneath hotel.

Great location. Less than a 5 minute walk to the lifts at Tsugaike Kogen Ski Resort

The front desk was never manned, always had to ring the buzzer and wait for assistance. The staff didn't feel very engaged.

離栂池Gondora超級近，對面就有商店可以買零食，離餐廳也都很近，來栂池選這間真的很方便，房間有浴室、樓上有泡澡堂，C/P值很夠

可惜的是地下室乾燥室沒辦法通外面，但不影響住宿體驗

Super close to Tsugaike. Less than a 10 min walk to the gondola.

The parking is not near the hotel and the staff doesn’t seem to give a damn what’s going on. Not very friendly as well.

很接近栂池中央纜車站，但是纜車站往飯店方向是小小的上坡。飯店對面就是附近唯一一間小賣店，很方便

Location and old style of the place. Our rooms were well appointed and pleasant. Breakfast was excellent.

場所も設備も良くてコスパもいいんだけど、駐車場がちょっと遠いのが惜しいかな。

Close to snow & ticket office & restaurants Onsen was excellent.

Convenient location right next to the ski station. Bed was very warm.

The tables in the eating area were quite dirty. We could tell the tablecloths hadn't been washed for several days.

ゴンドラ乗り場から近いこと！ 目の前にコンビニがあったこと！ お部屋も清潔で過ごしやすかったです。 大浴場も気持ちよかったです。 スタッフさん外国人でしたがとても丁寧に一生懸命お話ししてくださいました。応援したくなりました。 お布団やゴミの分別などセルフでやることが多いけどその方が私はいいと思います。 あと車のキー失くしてここで預かってくれてたことが本当にありがかったです。もう感謝しかないです。また利用したいと思います！

駐車場が少し離れていてホテル前に一時的に車を停めて荷物を下ろしたりがやりにくかったことですがすごく不便で困ったということはなかったです。

Location was good, gondola and chair lift nearby to the slope.

The hotel is a bit dated and stained. Strong cigg smell in lounge and lobby area. Parking was in another hotel opposite which is a bit of walk. Wifi in floor/room did not work at all and after letting staff know they didn't fix it so for 2 nights we stayed we had to use wifi in lobby....

For the price, it exceeded our expectations. It had everything we needed, big spacious rooms, ski lockers, and right on the slope. Lovely onsen for relaxing after skiing, although beware it’s segregated by gender.

It’s quite dated and breakfast is only served 07:00-09:00 so we missed it both days. It would be useful if it were open longer. The heating is only by hot air, and the machine was super noisy and dried out the air, giving us sore throats. Otherwise it was freezing in the room!

Equipe super simpática e prestativa. Camas confortáveis. Café da manhã bem variado. Ar condicionado de quarto e interior do hotel bem quentinho. Tem takyoubin para enviar e receber os equipamentos de ski.

Não tem serviço de transfer. Não tem todas as comodidades de banho que mostra nas fotos. Só sabonetes, shampoo e condicionador. O dry room não seca bem o equipamento de ski para o dia seguinte. Tem que pagar para deixar as malas antes do checking ou depois do checkout. O hotel é cheio de pequenos estragados que necessitam reparo. As cortinas finas desmancharam nas mãos de tão velhas.

Near to the ski lift- walking distance . Staff was welcoming and helpful when we had the water problem in the bathroom.

Location is perfect to access Tsukaige Kogen Ski Resort. Can rent ski gear easily from store next to hotel and good ski storage in basement of hotel too. Stayed in a Japanese style room and found the futon's to be comfortable.

Although the hotel is looking its age (old carpet), it is still good value for money, considering its location to a large ski resort. The evenings were a little quiet and limited options for restaurants nearby however, it was early in the season as noticed some shops/restaurants were not ready for business yet.

Awesome location. super friendly helpful staff. amazing breakfast. Great indoor onsen on the top floor with a bit of a view through the steamy windows. Lots of night life and restaurants close and walkable.

I stayed in a traditional Japanese room which was a new experience. I'm glad I did it however it was a bit of a challenge to do a major repack sitting cross-legged on the floor. No place to sit in room, but just went down to their comfortable lobby and had a complementary coffee. I would recommend everyone to experience a traditional Japan room, the futon was comfortable, which I doubled up. Probably not the best for somebody with mobility issues or super picky about a soft fluffy mattress.

Proximity to ski lifr and gondola

Rooms tired, not professionally cleaned ( under bed was filthy). Table cloths at dinning room only changed once a week. Onsen not clean. Entrance to hotel hard to walk due to ice and snow not cleared regularly. Breakfasts virtually the same each day with hot dishes consistently cold. Elevator carpet smells and the foyer / lobby communal areas beside the smoking room just made the whole area stink of cigarette smoke. Back packers type outcome with a 3 star price.

Staff very kind and helpful, very close to the slopes and gondola. Overall very good choice for a family- run hotel in the immediate vicinity to ski lifts and town center. Right next to bus stop for Tokyo's airport. Onsen small but very cozy. We would come back next time if we ski again on Hakuba.

Breakfast is ok but might not be for everyone, ski room on lower floor connected only by a steep staircase
