Easy Diving and Beach Resort

A very beautiful resort. Nice and cool in the shade of the jungle, with a truly wonderful garden surrounding the bungalows. They have a own beach with romantic sunsets. The staff were amazing—super friendly and helpful. This definitely won’t be our last visit here.

Our stay was really wonderful. We truly enjoyed it. My staff member and I had a very nice break from work and the daily routine. We enjoyed the beautiful resort, the extremely friendly hospitality of the staff, and the good food as well. There was really nothing to complain about. It is a resort where you can truly relax, unwind, and switch off from everyday stress. We had a great time staying there and we will definitely come back. 😊

Das Resort ist in Sandstrandlage, Liegen am Strand ausreichend vorhanden, großes schön eingerichtetes, überdachtes Freiluftrestaurant, Die Mitarbeiter sind ausnahmslos kompetent, motiviert, überaus hilfsbereit und freundlich. Ganz tolle Küche, sehr gute Tauchbasis, auch Nitrox ist vorhanden und der Tauchshop gut und mit Köpfchen ausgerüstet (Ersatzteile, gängige Batterien etc.). Die Zimmer sind sehr gut eingerichtet, die Klimaanlage gut gewartet und leise. Die Tauchboote waren ebenfalls sehr gut in Schuß. Das Hotel liegt am Hang, Treppensteigen muß hier wirklich in Kauf genommen werden, wer damit Probleme hat, sollte mit dem Hotel vorher Kontakt aufnehmen. Unser Fazit: Tolles Hotel mit sehr guter Küche, Mitarbeitern und einem Chef, der es versteht so eine Anlage zu führen und zu unterhalten. Danke

Auf dem Nachbargrundstück wurde ein Boot gebaut, Kettensäge und Schleifmaschine nervten manchmal schon.

Beautiful location, very nice restaurant with very good food, super friendly and well trained staff, great diving.

It's a bit far from town, so if you want to go anywhere in the evening you gotta pay for a tricycle to and from town -- and they overcharge foreigners.

Easy Diving Sipalay offers a well-organized and professional diving experience. The instructors and guides are experienced, patient, and attentive to safety. The dive sites were rich in marine life and very well preserved. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and quiet. The restaurant provides excellent food, and the staff are friendly and well-trained. A perfect choice for anyone looking for quality diving, a relaxed atmosphere, and a beautiful location.

The place was clean and quiet, nice overall, but I’d only recommend going if you don’t have kids, since it’s mainly for diving and more enjoyable if you’re into that. The experience of staying there was okay.

The staff were really accommodating, but I wasn’t happy with how the head receptionist treated us she didn’t even say thank you. Lol. Maybe it’s because we’re locals staying at their hotel. Overall, it was still a pretty cool experience.

I stayed at the Easy Dive Resort with my wife and her extended family for 3 nights. The property is located in a beautiful quiet setting in Sipalay and is well managed by Chris and his team. The rooms were clean and air cinditioned. We were all very well looked after by the resort staff and the service in the bar and restaurant was first class where we were all made feel exceptionaltly welcome especially by Herminea who was fantastic. The breakfast was wonderful and freshly prepared to order for us all each morning. The resort primarily caters for diving excursions, and we took a boat trip out to do some island hopping which was amazing and the warm clear waters with lots of exotic fish are a sight to behold. It was a memorable family trip and we thoroughly enjoyed it and I must say it was great value for money.

The resort beach is lovely however it is not great for swinning especailly at low tide as it is very rocky, the beach a little further up is much better. There were a lot of bugs and mosuitos, especially in the rooms (Understandable given the setting in the jungle) and the staff did their best with coils and repelliant. The bed in our room was not very comfortable with the matress placed on a concrete base. The access up and down to the rooms and beach/bar area is by very steep stairs which could be challenging for anyone with poor mobility.

Everything was fantastic having been in the Philippines for a long time I can say this is an exceptionally well run resort the room I had was beautiful and clean and so comfortable the staff call you by name and make you feel so welcome I brought my father 73 yrs old and his gf they where blown away with the beautiful beach waters and service thanks to the wonderful staff we didnt want to leave. Owner is very friendly and welcoming he has created a slice of paradise

Stairs are a challenge at first but its worth it But inhave no complaints about anything highly recommend this resort

Das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichhaltig. Die Lage am Hang ist besondes schön, auch wenn man viele Stufen erklimmen muss. Es ist sehr praktisch, dass man jederzeit im Restaurant mit einer guten Auswahl essen kann und nicht mit dem Auto wegfahren muss.

The staff was excellent! We were made to feel as if we were friends visiting. They called us by name and made every attempt to make our stay enjoyable.

Apart from the long climbing stairs, the Resort is very well managed with an efficient staff who are charming and service oriented. The breakfast was really good and the F&B exceeded my expectations. The dive operation was professionally executed.

Very good value for money. Not a new shiny 3-star accommodation, but a quiet and well maintained and managed place with a 4 star location. Comfortable beach beds where you can find shadow beneath the large parasols or the leaves of the immense tree canopies all day if you appreciate that. There is something magic about looking straight out to a clear blue sea horizon that covers all of your 170-degree angle of vision, while your skin is gently stroked by the sea breeze. At high tide, you can swim 100 meters to find a large coral reef with good visibility and teaming with life. And we had a private boat that took us to an even greater coral reef sanctuary where we saw a turtle while snorkling. 3 hour boat trip for two and we payed modest 1900php. It is a place primarily for diving, but it is excellent also if you have a companion that would just like to relax with a serene view from the beach while you are having some diving trips. The food and drinks were served from a nice restaurant, beach front, with a nice vibe. - Generally very enjoyable, somewhat pricy, and not the biggest menu we have seen, but that should be expected on a somewhat remote place like this. We complained that we experienced some dishes to be too salty for our taste. We had an accommodation furthest up the hill and counted 75 steps down to the restaurant. Some guests have complained about this. Steps are maybe 15% higher than standard steps. Some will find that inconvenient. We did, however, appreciate the exercise 3 or 4 times a day as we enjoy regular exercise and there is no gym in the resort. The stairs are shaded by a beautiful canopy. Probably, I am in a somewhat better shape than most my age. I am 70 y.o. The room was spacious with a nice terrace with sea view between the trees.

The bed mattresses should, in my opinion, have been upgraded as they are not comfortable for a somewhat older man at 95kg. They did, however, give me an extra mattress that made me more comfortable. I experienced the best mattress in Philppines on another resort. Brand was 100% Dewfoam, 6" ,rubberinfused, printed, at 3500php for an individual bed. Highly recommended Philippine product. I would have appreciated a small desk and chiar in the room. There was no water in the room, however free water when ordering food in the restaurant. No fridge and water kettle in the room were to be expected as their strategy is to have guests consume refreshments and food in the restaurant. Also, there was no TV, but the wifi worked very well from the room, and even down on the beach so we could stream movies to our Tablet. I think the strategy of the resort serves the owners and the guests very well. Less insect problem in rooms, less staff requirement and hence good value for money.

The Resort is located at a beautiful beach and the water was nice and calm. Great for snorkeling to the reef. The meals in the restaurant were wonderful and inexpensive. The bed was more than comfortable. The duvet was nice and long and covered the extra long mattress. Great for someone my height! It was nice and quiet and the AC and internet worked great. After our ten-day stay, with going up and down the stairs many times per day, we felt like we were in shape now to go and visit Machu Picchu. We did not dive during our stay. The owner was very personable and friendly and was always around if we have any questions.

The rooms are cleaned daily. In the evening the resort looks quite nice

the beach is awful. in the water a lot of boards, glass, cans, sharp objects. Not suitable for swimming air conditioning noisy and moldy. In the rooms cockroaches, ants (big and small), who knows what else. Room of poor standard. crooked old tiles in bathroom, rooms very low. Ugly furniture. The resort is located on a hill and moving around it requires physical fitness due to the steep stairs. Elderly people or those with mobility difficulties may have a big problem There is nothing around. Without your own transport you can't do anything.breakfast included in the room rate is very poor. coffee terrible At check-out I was charged an additional environmental fee, which is not mentioned anywhere. When I paid through booking the price included all taxes The restaurant service was nice only on arrival. the moment they realized they wouldn't make money on us they were less polite...more cold.

Fantastic location - quiet, remote, and extremely relaxing. Beautiful views of the water directly on the beach, including beachfront restaurant with delicious food and extremely friendly and attendant staff. The dive shop and instructors were professional and friendly. Highly recommended!

Amazing place. Amazing food. Peaceful. MISSING LONG PORTION OF A HANDRAIL. Maybe 100? Meters. Life safety hazard. One day an older or a person miss judging a step will hurt badly or kill himself rolling down the hill. BEYOND ME WHY A SITUATION LIKE THAT EXISTS!!!

First of all no way that you could go out to look for food since no shuttle service, no intercom, need to go down all the way steps to reach reception almost 70 steps one way.it makes us tired not many choices food. Thanks

The area was absolutely beautiful! They had many activities available to do such as diving, snorkeling, archery and even offered massages.

There are many, many steps to climb to get to and from the rooms and the beach. I would not recommend for people with mobility issues.

Very nice staff and location with nice view. The staff helped us due to we left our dive camera in the room. Just so happens at check out in conversation I mentioned where we were headed. When they found camera they called the next resort to inform us. The food is also very good.

The resort is best suited for divers and not families. There is not a pool ( which I knew before ) and they do not allow any outside food or beverages, so not the best idea for budget minded families. Otherwise, it’s very beautiful.

The resort is awesome!! It is secluded in the jungle and you feel like you have arrived in a secluded paradise when you get there. We realised we were going to arrive late in the evening and contacted the resort. The owner, Christian, was awesome and organised some food for our arrival and was there to greet us when we finally arrived. The kitchen had prepared delicious sandwiches. They make their own bread and use quality ingredients in their food preparation. It makes such a difference. Every meal we had there was great!! We loved our bungalow, the bed was very comfortable. The place was very clean and welcoming. The staff was very friendly. They referred to us by our first names every single time. Not sure how they memorise all their guest's names... but they do. Hands down one of the best places we have stayed.

Relaxing

Excellent value, incredibly friendly and welcoming staff and the owner, Christian. We stayed for two weeks. The standard rooms are comfortable and clean, with hot showers. The food is excellent and affordable. Not gourmet but great tasting. The location on the beach has a great view of the sunset and the local reefs have some of the most, and most beautiful coral I have seen for years

Steepness of the steps. Tired and dilapidated accommodation. One of the thinnest mattresses we have ever slept on. Really uncomfortable. Diving overpriced. Did not enjoy our stay.

I like how welcoming the staff are. The owner is very hands-on with their guests making sure that everything is fine and doing well. I like how breakfast is served. My plate is full and there are options where you can choose what type of breakfast suits you. The place itself is very peaceful and quiet. If you are a nature lover, This is the best place you can choose.

Spacious rooms, nice restaurant with good food and extremely friendly staff. Excellent dive center with lots of boats and dive guides. Even if they have big groups of divers, they take care very well of their individual guests.

Restaurant a bit expensive. Only resort during this Philippines trip where we had to pay for water from the dispenser.

Steps

The property was well situated but the steps to and from the beach are not for the weak or faint hearted. If you have health issues or weak feet, legs, hips you should look for another location. The staff is friendly and the owner is hands on. Working with new divers and greeting guests. No food or drinks are allowed on the property, you must buy theirs and snacking is very limiting. They took good care of introducing my fiance to diving. I would like to come back to dive again, but will probably look for an easier pathway to get to the beach.

We felt immediately at home here. The beautiful surroundings, the friendly and helpful staff, the professional diving team and the super friendly owner Christian are just awesome. Thanks for everything! Our daughter already promised to Christian that we will be back ;-).

The food was good and reliable quality. The restaurant staff was awesome. They have a very nice beach front. Our villa was nice and we enjoyed hanging out there.

Prices were high and most advertised activities were not available, except for diving. Management didn't really engage with us during our 3 week stay.

You are just a few metres from the beach. It's a great relaxing and peaceful area. The food is excellent, plus the cocktails 😉 and the staff 👏👏 friendly, caring, helpful, and always smiling. We highly recommend you stay with Easy Diving Sipalay 🙂

It’s a wonderful place to stay, either you want to relax or going for diving or snorkeling. We had planned to stay only for some days, but this location catches us so we extended our stay.

The rooms are advertised as sea view. There is not such. It is false advertising

It was on a steep hill. The steps were a nightmare no one drank in the bar because you would have to risk your life on the steep steps. Seriously the steps to your room were really bad. Didn’t change our towels. Couldn’t flush toilet paper down the toilet unless it would block and overflow

The service was terrible even though staff were polite they lacked being proactive when assisting patrons. we had to ask every time for any action. The number of steps to get to our room and around the property was ridiculous and very tiring. it really detracted from the beauty of the location.

The diving offer was great and the instructors were very capable and considerate. The food in the hotel was very good, too. Also the bay offers a beautiful and relaxing view. The sand is white the water clean and there were literally no waves during the whole stay. The resort is nicely made, like a little town with a clear fresh water river running through and many little houses with the rooms the reception desk the dive shop, restaurant and others scattered around.

Some of the basic rooms are dark, but that’s not really a problem as they have a terrace with a view on the beach. The bathrooms could use a little upgrade. The offer of a water bottle would have been a nice plus, you’ll have to bring your own despite the sign at the entrance not allowing any food and beverages in the resort, which seems to be directed towards daytime visitors, a fridge doesn’t exist in the rooms. During our stay the tide was so low in the daytime that you would have to go out about 50 m with shoes in the shallow water to reach a depth where you could actually swim.

I liked the beach and the atmosphere in that facility and the wild trees. I also liked the staff.

No bidet. I think this facility is not ready for international customers. The room is too high, and we have to take many steps to get to it. I am 62 years of age and I really did not expect this. No phone operator. So I have to go down and up the steps just to ask the reception a question. No room service. So, we have to eat at the restaurant downstairs, which we dreaded going up to the room.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent. The place overall was amazing.

No bidet in the bathrooms and the view of the beach/ocean from the room could have been a better with the cutting of some tree limbs, but it was ok.

With gracious friendly staff, good food and outstanding location this resort offers excellent value as a relaxation and or diving destination.

Transportation going in and out of the resort was quite stressful and expensive. No need to go out of the resort anyway, they have everything you need.
