We had an amazing stay at Takatuka Beach Resort in Sipalay! Our family occupied five rooms, and everyone had a wonderful experience. The resort is clean, peaceful, quiet, and offers plenty of privacy—perfect for families or anyone looking to relax and unwind. One of the things we loved most was the unique design of each room. Every room had its own character and charm, making our stay even more enjoyable and memorable. The staff truly made our stay special. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. One thing that really stood out was their honesty and exceptional customer service. My nephew accidentally left behind his mini camera after we checked out, and the staff safely kept it until it could be picked up. We are very grateful for their kindness and integrity. Thank you to the entire Takatuka team for making our family vacation so memorable. We highly recommend this beautiful resort and would gladly stay here again on our next trip to Sipalay!

I booked for my girlfriend and her friend and they always have the best time there and speak of how wonderful the food is. I'm sure she will be staying many more times in the future.

Alles war top. Mein "Rock'n Roll" Zimmer, das sehr sympathische und freundliche Personal, das gute Frühstück, leckere Speisen zum Lunch und Dinner. Die Drinks im Liegestuhl am Strand. Nach vier Wochen anstrengendem Insel-Hopping war der Aufenthalt im Takatuka Resort sehr angenehm und erholsam.

Nevím co napsat je to neúžasnější ubytování ve kterém jsme byli jsme na Filipínách po3 tento resort odpovídá fotkám což se nám nikdy nestalo.Chalupa ve stylu pravěk nádherná,vše funkční klimatizace,automat na teplou i studenou vodu,venkovní posezení s větrákem.Bazén super pláž skvělá bez odlivu a žádné koráli jen písek .Personál usměvavý ve všem nápomocný nic není problém. A jejich kuchyně je gastronomický zážitek.

It was nice and quiet. They had good coffee, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Fast alles. Vor ein paar Jahren wurden wir noch mit dem Boot am Strand abgesetzt - jetzt gibt es eine schöne neue Straße. Hatten deshalb befürchtet, dass es wesentlich belebter ist. Aber es war noch genauso entspannt wie damals. Die individuellen Zimmer überraschen einen jedes Mal auf's Neue. Phantastisches Personal, toller Strand, ausreichend Liegen, neuer Pool, super Frühstück und Abendessen, leckere Drinks. Was will man mehr.

Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Das Zimmer "Golden Empire" ist leider sehr dunkel, aber man ist ja eh die meiste Zeit am Strand oder auf der Terrasse. Ein Stuhl oder so wäre schön gewesen. Das Bad ist zum Schminken zu dunkel.

Right on the beach, the property is really good value and perfect to relax, the staff is great and we loved the soups and the Rösti.

The decoration is a bit out there, with themed rooms, and may not be for everybody but we did not mind

Owner and wife are awesome people.

Exceptional customer service made our stay at Takatuka even more memorable. We will be returning to this beautiful and fun, clean and comfortable resort soon.

Food was so so, staff was a bit mellow

**Kleines Paradies.** Alles war wunderbar! Alles war sehr sauber, das Personal war alle sehr freundlich, professionell und kinderlieb. Das Essen war absolut fein und kreativ in der Darstellung. Betten sehr bequem und es wurde auch täglich gereinigt Alle Zimmer und auch das ganze Resort waren sehr kreativ gestaltet, und man entdeckt immer wieder etwas zu sehen und zu lachen. Wir kommen sicher wieder:)

The perfect place for a beach vacation. It's a bit of a drive, but worth it. I'd also like to mention the restaurant - the food and drinks are always excellent.

Gutes Frühstück und ein gute Küche. Auch für das Mittagessen und Abendessen gab es eine gute Auswahl an leckeren Gerichten. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Eine sehr schöne Lage direkt am wunderschönen Strand. Sehr ruhige Lage mit einer sehr schönen Umgebung.

All the service staff was just fantastic. The food was very good, and big portions. Sugar Beach is definitely the best beach in Negros. Very interesting design both in the rooms and outside. Thanks for a great stay!

Wir trafen auf ein kleines Paradies. Herzlicher Empfang, ein sehr sauberes Zimmer (Nautilus) in dem man sehr viel entdecken konnte, bequemes Bett und die Terrasse sehr schön um den Abend ausklingen zu lassen. Das gesamte Personal sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, auch bei den Gastgebern spürt man mit ihrer Herzlichkeit, dass du als Gast Willkommen bist. Das gesamte Speiseangebot ist hervorragend und einige Produkte werden auch selbst hergestellt wie Salami, Schinken, Leberkäse, Brot, Marmelade, Eiscreme und einiges mehr. Die gesamte Außenanlage wie Pool, Strandliegen und der Strand sind in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand. Fazit, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Akin to staying in an art installation with a fun sense of imagination and attention to detail. This is coupled with fantastic service, lovely food and beautiful geography. If I were in Spinal Tap, I would give it 11!

The rooms were fabulously roomy but they were too dark. I found that a bit frustrating.

The place was awesome! The staff were very friendly, attentive to our needs and respectful. And the food was amazing. Admittedly a little on the pricey side but you would never regret paying for. And the plus to the resort is that it is beachfront and the beach was immaculately clean. I would definitely recommend this resort 100%!!

Very lovely place. Each room is a piece of art, related to owner’s life and travels around the world. We were in 70’s groove, which let us in 70’s atmosphere.

Außergewöhnliche Einrichtung alle Kategorien betreffend

Wir sind gerade erst abgereist und haben schon wieder Sehnsucht.... An einem traumhaften Strand ist dieses wunderbare Resort, welches mit außergewöhnlichen Zimmern punktet, einen riesigen Pool hat und mit einer echt leckeren Küche, Gaumen und Auge überrascht. Nizel und Marvel verzaubern im Service die Gäste und alle Angestellten sorgen für die Sauberheit im Resort. Es ist echt beeindruckend, was Marc und seine Familie für ein traumhaftes Resort führen und dies hat mindestens 5 Sterne verdient. Wenn man mit einer Umarmung verabschiedet wird, fällt es einem sooooo schwer zu gehen und wir träumen schon wieder von Takatuka und dem Sugar Beach.

Takatuka Beach Resort offers a unique artistic experience,

but there are several drawbacks that affected our stay. The resort is located in a small, underdeveloped area, which felt isolating and gave a somewhat depressing vibe. The lack of proper infrastructure and facilities made it difficult to feel connected to normal life. The Wi-Fi speed was extremely poor, leaving us feeling disconnected, and this was compounded by the lack of nearby services like money changers or banks. Transportation was inconvenient, with tricycles being the only option for getting around. The breakfast was disappointing, lacking in quality and variety, which started the day on a negative note. While the beachfront and room designs are interesting, the overall experience left much to be desired. This resort may suit those looking for absolute solitude, but it may not meet the expectations of travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and connectivity.

Amazing place. The quirky rooms are so creative and fun. The beach is world class and the pool is beautiful. Food and service was great and a very relaxed, casual and fun atmosphere whilst still being quiet and beautiful. Definitely worth the 3 hour drive from Bacolod. Travelled 10,000km to get here to meet friends and will come again. Thank you to the Takatuka team for making us so welcome.

We enjoyed very much stay in Takatuka . The food was delicious and relatively affordable. I was surprised with the quality of the free breakfast because it was nice. The portions were great. I really love their pool. It has wonderful features. The temperature is great. It looks well maintained the staff is so polite and attentive. The location is a great location for enjoying the beach and far from the crowds at the same time. I absolutely love how original and weird the place is I wanna go back and stay more nights I absolutely recommend you to stay and try.

Super unique resort.. a little bit dated but it doesn't matter as its meant to be quirky. The pool is awesome... the beach is awesome and the food is pretty dang good all things considered. Would definitely visit again and recommend others.

This is our place to go jow in Sipalay!!!! Such a good fun vibe. We stumbled acrosa this just on an unolanned trip for the weekend. Even though we dive we will stay here when we come and then dive with another. The resort with its decorations and themes is so much fun. We will be back soon soon since we live in Dauin!!!!!

The rooms are themed:I booked 3 rooms for my family: El Castillo, and 2 others I can’t remember…depending on your taste, you either love or hate it the room decor, but I love the eccentricity of it, I get the artistic flair. I enjoyed the beach, it’s not rocky, nice to take a walk barefoot.

Great food. Great staff. Rooms are fun but the aircon is to small to really cool the room.

Shouldn’t really write a good review or it will become to popular (Not that it already isn’t !!!) fantastic place to stay … great staff … food perfect … great location on the Sugar Beach… ohhh and they now have a swimming pool that is great for kids 5* 👍🤩
