Our stay at Baglioni Resort Sardinia was an absolute dream. We had one main goal for this part of our holiday: to completely relax, recharge and enjoy some quality time together as a family. Baglioni truly delivered. We were also blessed with beautiful weather throughout our stay, which made an already incredible experience even better. The resort itself is beautifully designed and laid out. The three swimming pools are fantastic and cater for different swimming abilities, which was perfect for us travelling with young children. There are plenty of sunbeds surrounding the pools, many with gazebo-style covers that provide shade. We particularly loved the adjustable shade on the sunbeds that could be positioned to keep the sun out of your eyes while still enjoying the beautiful weather. The pool team were exceptional throughout our stay. They were always attentive, providing fresh towels and complimentary cans of still or sparkling water and making sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. One of the biggest highlights is the resort's connection to Lu Impostu Beach, which is easily one of the most beautiful beaches we visited in Sardinia. The water was crystal clear, calm and absolutely stunning. The hotel has its own private beach area with sunbeds, towels and water available throughout the day. Although it's only around a five-minute walk, the hotel also provides a golf cart drop-off and collection service, which was incredibly convenient when travelling with children. Breakfast was another highlight. There was a great variety of fresh savoury options, breads and spreads, hot food and freshly cooked eggs. More importantly, breakfast never felt rushed. You could sit, relax and enjoy your morning while being genuinely looked after by the team. A very special mention has to go to Emanuel, who looked after us during breakfast. His level of attentiveness was exceptional.

There was honestly very little we didn't like about our stay. These aren't criticisms of the hotel, but a couple of things we think are worth knowing before you visit. The main one is location. The beautiful, secluded setting is a big part of what makes Baglioni so relaxing, but it does mean that having a hire car is highly recommended. Taxis aren't particularly easy to access and there isn't much within walking distance of the resort. If you want to explore the surrounding area or head out for dinner, having your own car makes a huge difference. The other thing to be aware of is the dining. The hotel's restaurant is focused on a high-end fine-dining experience, so if you're simply looking for a casual pizza, traditional pasta or an easy family meal, the options within the resort are quite limited. We found having a car particularly useful for this reason, as it gave us the flexibility to head into nearby towns for more casual dining. Neither of these things took away from our experience at all, and we would absolutely stay again. They're simply things we think are useful to know when planning your stay, particularly if you're travelling with young children.

Die Lage des Hotels, der Strand (auch eines der wenigen Bereiche wo das Service perfekt funktioniert, genauso wie Luca der mit seinem Golfcar fast 24 h im Einsatz zu sein scheint oder Lory im Restaurant) und das Essen sind traumhaft. Was den den Rest betrifft muss man Kompromisse machen.

Ich kenne das Hotel seit Jahren, aber so schlecht wie heuer war die Situation noch nie. Wenn man als neuer Gast zum ersten Mal in dieses Hotel kommt muss man leider ahnungslos herumirren und hoffen dass einen die Kellner über Möglichkeiten aufklären denn die Reception agiert ausschließlich als Eincheck/Auscheck point und nimmt keinerlei normale Receptionstätigkeiten war, im Gegenteil, sie fühlen sich sogar gestört wenn man mit Fragen auf sie zukommt. Noch schlimmer ist die sogenannte Concierge Laura; unfreundlich, inkorrekt und völlig überfordert. Auch im Restaurant merkt man dass ein paar gute Service Leute nicht alles kompensieren können. Dieses geleistete Service verdient keine 5 Sterne und vor allem auch nicht diesen Preis.

The hotel facilities (bedrooms, pool, restaurants) are amazing, away better then in the pictures. The location is really good, very close to the beach and they have a great beach service, with sun beds and umbrellas.

The room was nice and the beach is beautiful, More or less good choice of cheese at the breakfast (the only good thing about breakfast).

I'm not saying this hotel was bad but it just did not meet our expectations. Comparing with other hotels of the same class we used to stay at - this one is rather boring and lacking character. We stayed for 4 nights. Breakfasts were literally identical every morning. Large pastries as if from any cheap bakery. Hot dishes are at the Premier Inn level. Minimum vegetables. Wasps everywhere. Not a single refill of coffee/tea packs in the room. Only little complimentary bottles of water except for the 1st day. An employee once tried to unlock our room without knocking while we were inside. The staff is just polite, nothing beyond that. To reach the beach you cross a stinky lagoon. The pool, the gym and the kids club are mediocre. Needless to say, no evening entertainment (or at least we got no information) but it's indeed rare in European hotels. Architecture and landscape are mediocre as well. Final touch: at departure they give you a box of chocolates. The size of it makes you think there are a few in the stack. In practice you discover there are just four at the surface, it's simply the thick box. This exactly reflects the 'greediness' of the hotel. Overall, you may find something better for this money.

Relaxed and quiet luxury. A good size (not too big) resort. Staff were wonderful. Upgraded room which was amazing. Shuttle bus regularly down to the beach. Staff service fantastic. Beach beds great. Spa fantastic. Great shop. Great local recommendations. Ample parking. Breakfast great. Food great.

Drinks very expensive. Can be annoying waiting for shuttle bus as common times people want to go down and then waiting in the sun.

There was a storm that removed the access to the beach but the hotel provided transportation to access the area.

The breakfast and pool bar/grill was very good. The AC worked very well in the room which was critical due to the heat wave. The pool area was very nice although entrance to pool required use of pool ladders as there were not access steps.

I booked this property primarily due to its walkable location to the beach. However, upon arrival, we noticed and were informed that the wooden pathway going from property to the beach was taken down and not replaced due to storm damage. This required taking the hotel shuttle van to the beach with a drop off point at one end of the beach, instead of the nicer center part of the beach that the former boardwalk arrived at. It is a very large beach. The hotel must update its website because it highlights that the wooden boardwalk is there which is not true and is deceptive.

Room decor and furniture were at best on the level of a good 3 star hotel… maybe an average 4 star but by no means deserves to have 5 stars and be part of the Leading Hotels brand. It’s simply deceptive. It was clear that the hotel management isn’t bothered in upgrading the rooms and investing in the new furniture. Additionally staff are absolutely not on the level of 5 star hotel - they were often irritated, forgetting parts of the order, getting in the way during breakfast etc. The staff unfortunately are more like local seasonal part time workers rather than professionally trained 5 star hotel staff. For sure not a good value for money. The only good thing about this hotel is its location and access to a truly stunning (public) beach

Fabulous hotel. All the staff were very attentive and provided excellent customer service and couldn’t do enough for you- from those working in restaurant, pool bar, concierge and room service. Rooms cleaned twice a day. Close to Lu Impostu and Cala Brandinchi beaches. Free shuttle from hotel (5mins - not suitable to walk). Breakfast (cost included) had great choice, from cooked options to fresh al fruit, salads, cakes and pastries, breads, meats and drinks. Drinks - wines €50 upwards (bottle), €11 beers (bottle) and €20 cocktails. Onsite spa (extra) and gym (free), we didn’t use so can’t comment on value for money. Transfer time from airport - 30mins. We booked a meal at the Mirto restaurant - it was nice but not a stand out (we love our food) even though my wife loved her dessert. We had similar quality three corse meal in San Teodoro town for half the price. Top tip - make sure you hire a car.

Unfortunately the Michelin star onsite restaurant (Gusto by Sadler) was not open during our stay (opens June) and we were not told in advance. It was one of the reasons we booked the hotel. Unable to walk to beach or to local shops/restaurants (which would have been our preference but we knew in advance). Taxi’s in Sardinia very expensive - €90-100 airport transfer (each way). €50 cost into San Teodoro (each way). Unable to walk to beach from hotel due to lagoon and padel boat option was not available

We stayed here for our honeymoon for three nights and it was incredible. First, the staff was so kind and attentive the whole stay. Food was top notch, the breakfast (with their amazing pastries) and dinner is a must! The amenities are so nice - the pool, access to the beach - everything. You have to go to their beach - it was one of the nicest ones we saw and it is also super close to Tavolara if you want to do an excursion in the nearby towns. We has a super beautiful room as well with our own private patio.

La struttura è bellissima e ci sono tornato molte volte per la posizione e i servizi. Lo staff storico è fantastico e molto preparato ed è un elemento che mi ha invitato a tornare dato che sono persone gentili e di supporto

Lo staff nuovo è evidente sia stato assunto troppo vicino all’apertura e risulta impreparato al punto che mi è stato detto che potevo utilizzare il pedalò per scendere in spiaggia e non era vero. Non avere il pontile che porta alla spiaggia elimina una parte importante di questo posto e costringe ad organizzarsi per scendere e salire dalla spiaggia con la navetta….che riuna grande scomodità. A mio avviso fosse stato un tre stelle poteva starci l’impreparazione e la mancanza di servizio, per un cinque stelle invece non va bene e fa calare la percezione del prezzo ad almeno la metà.

Unser Aufenthalt im Baglioni Resort Sardinia war insgesamt schön, aber mit gemischten Eindrücken. Der dazugehörige Strand ist wirklich traumhaft – das Wasser ist glasklar und wunderschön, fast schon karibisch. Auch das Personal war jederzeit freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls gut – nur etwa 25 Minuten Autofahrt vom Flughafen entfernt. Das Pool-Areal ist schön angelegt und lädt grundsätzlich zum Entspannen ein.

Etwas enttäuschend war allerdings, dass das Wasser im Pool eiskalt war – fast niemand hat darin gebadet, schade, dass es nichts Beheiztes gibt. Zum Strand läuft man einige Minuten, was grundsätzlich kein Problem wäre, aber dort gibt es weder Toiletten, noch Duschen oder Service. Man muss also alles, was man braucht (z.B. Wasser), selbst mittragen – und vor allem mit zwei Kindern sind das schnell mal viele Sachen. Der Kinderclub war für uns leider gar nicht einladend – ein dunkler Raum mit altem Spielzeug, was so gar nicht dem 5-Sterne-Standard entspricht. Auch unser Zimmer (2-Bett-Zimmer) war extrem klein – Kinderwagen und Koffer mussten wir im Garten deponieren, da kein Platz war. Der ganze Anlage wirkt nicht 5-Sterne-würdig. Das Hauptrestaurant am Abend war wenig einladend, sobald die Glasfront geschlossen wird. Das Ambiente wirkt dann etwas kühl. Dafür war das Essen, sowohl tagsüber als auch abends, wirklich hervorragend – geschmacklich top und qualitativ ausgezeichnet.

Wonderful resort, clean rooms. Friendly staff and great concierge! Located on its on private bay, which is lovely if you just want to stay at the resort. Town is within short driving distance.

Could do more for teenagers. The kids have a kids club, but there is nowhere for teens to hangout and meet and maybe play video games, or pool or something for them to do. We notice a lot of families were travelling with one or two teens, who had nowhere to go.

Breakfast was fantastic, a wide choice of food. We didn't make it to the Michelin-star restaurant as on the evening we chose it was booked for a function but the main restaurant was so good we were fulfilled in every way. Lovely pool, only a change in the weather stopped us utilising other facilities.

The place is very nice, amazing surrounding, close to wonderful beach, great selection of items during breakfast, rooms are very private and segregated from each other. We had a great time.

The location is not close to anything id you want to walk. You will need the car. With the car , you can go anywhere and downtown is close by and many other places. I was not happy with their restaurant , we had a dinner the day we arrived and food was not as good.

Bella struttura con parti comuni molto curate in una posizione unica. Camere ampie e adatte a soggiorni con bimbi. Personale molto disponibile e competente. Mare stupendo con possibilità di camminare per raggiungere calette vicine e il centro di Puntaldia.

Sarebbe bene proporre un kids menù anche per la sera: pagare 26 euro un mezzo petto di pollo ai ferri e dover aggiungere verdure di contorno a 10 euro ciascuna dal menu adulti è piuttosto strano.

The grounds are beautiful, well maintained, peaceful. Staff is very friendly especially with children. We had a wonderful time both at the poolside and at the beach. The multiple pool sizes were great for children. The beach is not as isolated as the pictures lead on. Yes, there are enough beach chairs for hotel customers, but to either side of that designated area are crowds of Italians enjoying the beach. If you want isolated… this is not for you. We personally had a great time though. People respected the hotel area and did not overcrowd the water either. Water is clean and the sand is white and soft. It really is beautiful. As for the resort, a few negative things to mention. I wish the cleaning staff were more diligent with details and replaced things that were empty or missing since it’s a 5 star hotel. For example my robe was missing for 3 days until I called to get it replaced, body wash was finished and not replaced until I asked someone. The restaurant and pool bar are great, I just wished they had daily specials for children. After a week, the menu gets boring. Another thing to note, if you are allergic to bees or afraid of them, this might not the place for you. The staff really tries hard to control them but they are very bothersome at breakfast and dinner. At times you feel like you are battling bees instead of enjoying your meal. But again… I think that is part of nature there. Overall, my family did love it and would stay there again.

The resort is perfectly designed to blend modern luxury with the charm of the island. Our room was immaculate, spacious, and elegantly decorated, providing both comfort and relaxation. Dining was exceptional. Breakfast offered a wide selection of fresh, high-quality foods, and dinners at the resort’s restaurants were a highlight. Every meal felt thoughtfully prepared, showcasing local flavors with impeccable presentation. Facilities were outstanding. The pool and private beach access were pristine, with plenty of space to unwind and enjoy the water. The wellness center and gym were equally impressive, offering both relaxation and the chance to stay active. Transfers and resort services were efficient, making it easy to explore nearby San Teodoro or simply relax on the property. The staff were professional, friendly, and genuinely dedicated to making our stay unforgettable. They anticipated needs before we even had to ask and gave excellent recommendations for activities and dining in the area. Our favorite part of the stay was enjoying the pristine beach and turquoise sea combined!

From the moment we stepped out of the car the service was absolutely outstanding. Greetings from all workers including front desk staff/management were very professional. Very accommodating! This hotel from top to bottom thought about all details at a high level. Loved the kids club giving adults time to adult, love the restaurants and the staff who treated everyone special, and loved the room. I can not wait to return!

Location next to a stunning beach (one of the best we saw in Sardinia), comfortable sun beds on the beach, nice pool, beautiful hotel and rooms, super comfortable bed, staff very friendly and attentive, great food at the restaurant, everything you need in one place.

Beautiful property in mediterranean style directly on the seaside and surrounded by a peaceful landscape

This was one of the best vacations we have ever had in this resort. The beach was one of the best I’ve spent 14 days at, the pool was nice too. The amenities they provided like shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion all acqua Parma high end products. I had a spacious room and housekeeping came twice a day and did a great job. I attended a start of summer party which they did very well with everything included, live music, drinks and gourmet food from their restaurant Gusto, it was a great night. Tuesday is pizza night where they have a pizza truck on the premises for 30 euros per individual pizza, fun night. On Wednesday they had Sardo night with traditional local entertainment and typical Sardinian food also a fun evening. The maître d'hôtel would come around in their restaurant and explain the fresh fish available and how it is prepared, one night they prepared for me half lobster with pasta and red sauce for 118 euros. Local Sardinian wines were available and delicious, I pretty much ordered the same one daily for 60 euros. Breakfast was either buffet or order from a menu with eggs made to order or a buffet with everything you can imagine all included with your room. I didn’t have a rental car but if you wanted to experience another restaurant in neighboring towns it was 10 euros per head each way on their shuttle. They have a wonderful bar area with live music daily, I had a grey goose 18 euros with club soda 10 euros extra, my wife had an aperol spritz 23 euro

Lugar belíssimo. Otima praia com club privado. Quarto excelente, espaçoso, com mimo para o casal. Bom gosto na decoração. Jardins floridos. Equipamentos de café de categoria, produtos de higiene excelentes. Tudo para um hotel de praia de luxo.

Hard to say but toilet facilities on the beach would have been a plus
