Booking for dinner on the following evening at the desk didn’t seem to get passed on to staff in the dining room.

Staff were kind, attentive, sweet and gentle. Lovely people. It was an okay hotel. Next to the shrine so not far to walk. Heating came on late and then knocking in radiators at night woke me up.

Breakfast bar was not replenished for 10am sitting. Only white bread. Sometimes not all food item we're refilled quickly enough if at all. Need a new toaster it was very slow. Dinner: Food was nice but where was the vegetables, very mean. Qtr of a carrot!! Cabbage was not cooked

Nearness to Knock airport

Breakfast was served from 8 am. I had to be at the airport at 7.30. I had paid for a full breakfast and was offered 1 piece of toast and a cup of coffee .this is not acceptable , we were not offered a refund on our bb terms. We were told we should not have booked via booking.com . I am unused to such bad unaccommodating behaviour.

The room was very comfortable and warm. The staff were very friendly,helpful and accommodating of any requests, the restaurant had a wonderful menu and accommodating for special dietary requirements regarding Vegan options which was fabulous and the food was delicious..Also the proximity to knock shine is wonderful only a few minutes walk. .we enjoyed our stay very much..

Double bed booked, Twin bed given, I was told it’s booking.coms fault Asked for ground floor and got higher floor - as per messages on booking.com I wanted ground floor. When we changed room a ground floor was given I highlighted all this in an email to reservations and was completely ignored. Very poor experience and not worth the money paid. Asked for compensation and none was received.

The location was perfect, just a few minutes wall from the Shrine. Lovely quiet location. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Great quality and choice of menu in the restaurant. The staff were all superb, housekeeping, restaurant and front desk, everyone was lovely and welcoming.

If you need a specific time slot for breakfast I'd advise booking early as it gets busy when groups are visiting. We had to miss a breakfast on the Saturday as there wasnt any availability at the earlier times we needed.(we had a bus to catch that day)

My friend is diabetic and there was no fridge in the rooms

This is right beside Knock shire and accessible by wheelchair. The staff were incredibly helpful to my mother and I (we have different dietary requirements). A very comfortable and clean hotel.

A electric door at the front would be convenient, but we always had help so there were no problems.

Some staff were abrupt in my opinion, they need to develop a friendlier approach. The young waiters and the mature waitress were fabulous to deal with. Steve on reception was also great. The dark haired lady on reception , needs more training, I felt I was being booked into Holloway Prison. Most unwelcoming. She wouldn’t be on reception in my hotel, if I owned one.

The staff were exceptional. So friendly and smiling the whole time. It was a busy night and they worked hard

Poor bank accessible cos only ATM in Centra shop and it's out of the way cos I had to walk down. Draught in Bascilla church and hard seat to sit on the bench for so long. Need to fit cushions on the benches

A wonderful place to stay! Lovely staff, delicious food, quiet and peaceful. The beds were warm and cosy.

The hotel was close to the shrine and was clean

On arrival we felt it was more like a retirement facility. Rooms were ok but not big.

The rooms and bathroom were lovely and also clean, the location was unbelievable we couldn’t believe how close it was to the shrine, basically on the grounds. The hotel was gorgeous. The staff were amazing, especially the man who worked sat 18th of July night time. He was so so helpful. The views in our room were lovely too. And the value for money for all of that was 10/10. The only thing that wasn’t the hotels fault, that I told the young guy was booking.com was charging double the money to bring a baby, so I had to come without my baby and partner when it was actually incorrect which could put people off. The guy was shocked and said he would look into it. Not the hotels fault but they didn’t know.

More variety at breakfast although what was there was gorgeous, also cappuccinos were included which I was shocked at

Even the meal was very poor . I had to return one as it was cold. The staff were helpful. Breakfast was just as bad as dinner the night before. I always make a trip with the Equestrain Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem each January, on the last weekend, but I'm not sure if I will make it in 2027.

No fridge in room, no safe in room. Room wasn’t cleaned properly. Empty bottle and dirty glasses not taken away. Wet towels left. Windows dirty.

Beautiful relaxed facilities close to churches. Beautiful breakfasts.

Best have few towels in shower room for two people..

Breakfast was an amazing classic Irish breakfast. It is in a great location right next to the Shrine. It was peaceful and quiet. Bed was also comfortable.

There was not a great deal to like. The location was good and there was plenty of parking.

The room smelt of damp. The radiators made so much noise the first night we got no sleep. I asked the staff to bleed them and it was better the second night. The shower cubical had mould in it.

Good location, plenty of large parking spaces, good breakfast and dinner.

The room was a bit noisy. The heating made noises even when it was off. And there was little variety at breakfast; while that's normal for a buffet, it gets boring after seven days.
