The staff was extremely courteous. Everything including tips were figured out at the end so you didn’t have to wait on anyone. The pool was beautiful although too cold for me personally. The food was delicious! I read different reviews about this but if you get the chicken and couscous, I don’t think you’ll be upset! The entertainment was low key. Great they were there but not a crazy party. We did a buggy ride and camels. Everything was done by the hotel and they even waited for us when we slept in. It really was a great experience. The tents were beautiful. Nespresso inside. The bed was hard but we honestly experienced this all over the country.

The beds could have been a little softer and the pool a little warmer. But that’s just me and may be different for others

Fantastische locatie in Agafay. Verder weg waardoor je helemaal weg bent van de wereld. Zeer lekker gegeten en zeer netjes.

We loved staying here. The views are incredible and the whole vibe is very relaxed. Dinner was beautiful out under the stars with the musicians. The food was excellent (you make your choices earlier in the daytime) as was the Aperol Spritz. Our tent was spacious and well equipped with complimentary coffee and soft drinks. The shower was surprisingly good given we are in the desert! After the hustle of Marrakesh, this was so relaxing!

Fantastic place! Rooms were stunning and the site was amazing. Music at dinner and did camel riding before. Staff were very friendly and helpful organising taxi to and from our destinations! Definitely recommend!

Wir haben 3 Nächte in diesem tollen Hotel verbracht. Es war unglaublich schön. Tolles Ambiente Abends bei Musik und leckerem Essen. Frühstück super. Der Pool mit dem fantastischen Ausblick wirklich atemberaubend. Das Zelt ist toll, sehr komfortabel und sehr sauber! Ein rießen Lob an das wunderbare Personal. Wir wurden herzlichst betreut und fühlten uns sehr, sehr wohl!! Vielen Dank für diesen besonderen Urlaub.

Ce type de lieu devrait être réservé aux adultes. On vient en plein désert pour avoir la paix, le calme. Séjour gâché par des enfants en bas âge insupportables et des pre ado qui se battaient dans la piscine. Bref loin de ce que j'escomptais en venant ici à ce tarif.

Une très belle expérience dans le désert ! 🌵✨ Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’accueil chaleureux du personnel, le dîner accompagné de musique Gnawa et le cadre magnifique avec la piscine entourée de dunes. La tente était très confortable, climatisée et authentique. Nous avons aussi fait une superbe balade en buggy dans les dunes, avec également la possibilité de faire du quad ou du dromadaire. Un séjour dépaysant et inoubliable… nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps ! Nous recommandons vivement.

Perfect location with view on the empty dessert, no lights on the horrizon. Silence after dinner. Very clean place and comfortable beds. Amazing stuff, all the people there want to make your stay perfect, they are helpfull and proffesional and do not wait for the tip... You can stay longer after checking out for no fee and use the swimming pool opened 24 hours. Perfect coffe and fresh orange juice.

De excursies en de prijzen van de taxi’s zijn veel te duur. Alsof men daar de toerist nog wil uitmelken. Kwam bij mij niet goed binnen, we zijn al vele jaren naar Marokko geweest en kennen de prijzen ondertussen wel. We betalen graag wat meer maar laten niet profiteren van ons, jammer.

Ruhige, entspannte Atmosphäre. Abgeschieden. Sowohl für Erwachsene als auch für unsere beiden Kinder ein Ort Erholung mit ausgezeichnetem Service. Auch die Abenteuer (Kamelritt und Buggyfahrt) waren hervorragend organisiert und haben viel Spaß gemacht. Das Personal ist auf unsere Bedürfnisse eingegangen und war sehr zuvorkommend. Der Pool ist gut gekühlt, eine wahre Oase. Das Zelt war luxuriös ausgestattet und wir haben ausgezeichnet geschlafen, es war sehr ruhig in der Nacht.

The food, staff and facilities were very exceptional. Thanks to Ahmad I felt cared and better after long way to the hotel. The pool was also good.

Just the way to the Agafay was too long and shaky. Not for the people who feel sick on the road. Additionally I think there could be more activities and entertainment during the evening. It was just music and the fire. One more thing: It wasn’t really sandy; the landscape was more like a steppe than a desert.

Everything was perfect from the greetings of the staff, the delicious welcome drink, dinner by the campfire with the musicians and the wonderful breakfast the following day. By far the nicest place I'm Agafay!

Such a beautiful place, the pictures don’t do it justice. We spent 10 nights in Marrakech and this was my family’s favourite setting. The infinity pool, the Berber music whilst eating was amazing. They organised our transport there and back and provided a baby seat for our toddler. The staff were excellent and always on hand to help. Definitely recommend a 2 night stay, 1 night wouldn’t be enough to appreciate how special this place is.

The excursions were quite expensive so we decided to skip them as we could access similar at our next resort. We didn’t feel it was necessary as there was enough for us there.

This place is special. I didn’t realise I needed such peace and quiet until we got there. The setting is just beautiful, and so peaceful. The infinity pool is gorgeous. Great musical entertainment at night by the fire pit. The tents are very spacious and clean. Like hotel rooms. Staff is very helpful. It’s not cheap to stay here, but it’s like nowhere I’ve been before, so worth it. The only thing stopping me from giving it 10* is the food. It’s fine, but not brilliant.

Adoramos o hotel! Super embrenhado no deserto, com uma piscina incrível, staff super acolhedor.

Une expérience unique aux portes du désert minéral d’Agafay, qui nous a offert une véritable parenthèse hors du temps. L’accueil est digne d’un quatre étoiles, avec une prise en charge de nos bagages dès notre arrivée. Nous les avons ensuite retrouvés directement dans notre tente après avoir profité de l’espace restauration, du magnifique paysage et de la boisson offerte à notre arrivée. Après une semaine à parcourir l’intérieur du Maroc et l’effervescence de ses médinas, quel plaisir de se retrouver ici avec cette impression d’être seuls au monde ! La piscine est également un véritable atout pour se rafraîchir et se détendre dans ce cadre exceptionnel. Et surtout, n’hésitez pas à vous lever un peu plus tôt pour admirer le lever du soleil : le spectacle est tout simplement magnifique. Une expérience que nous recommandons vivement pour faire une vraie pause et découvrir une autre facette du Maroc.

Locatie en vooral mijn complimenten aan het personeel! Lief en zo erg behulpzaam en vooral wat je moet doen is buggy of quad rijden. Wij hadden een topgids(Karim) hij heeft mijn zoons tijd van hun leven gegeven!

De locatie en het personeel is geweldig. Het is wat verder weg, maar het echt 100% waard. Het personeel staat altijd voor je klaar.

Misschien de airco in de accommodatie. Die kreeg de lodge niet op 25/26 graden. Maar het was buiten dan ook 45 graden. Verder kan ik niets bedenken.

Beautiful place suits well for families. Food was great. Ambiance is just high end. The tent that we were staying was huge. And aircon was working well even if the tent space was big and the heat outside was intolerable. We had a very comfortable sleep. Breakfast was amazing with eggs and fresh orange juice. Pool was perfect during my stay. Heat was intolerable.

It didnt had enough cover at the pool area. Would be great to have big umbrellas so that more people can just stay and lounge. It was so hot.

Het was een hele fijne en mooie locatie midden in de woestijn. Het was er lekker rustig en het personeel was heel vriendelijk.

De andere gasten waren een beetje vreemd en onbeschoft. Ze bleven vaak staren en wij hadden het gevoel alsof er over ons gesproken werd. Daar kan de accommodatie zeker niks aan doen maar dat vonden wij minder prettig. We hebben dit meerdere keren ervaren.

It was an experience to stay in the desert. The facilities were good, the tent was cool and comfortable. We really enjoyed our camel ride in the evening. It was also lovely to sit and enjoy the morrocan singers.

Lack of colour around the pool and seating area, it could have done with some lovely morrocan cushions to add a pop of colour.

Fabuleux, seule déception la balade en buggy qui était vraiment décevante en terme de vitesse. nous étions les seuls et n'avons vécu aucunes sensations alors que nous l'avions demandé dès le départ. très décevant et guide pas très sympa. sinon tout le reste était top top top!

The property is one of the furthest into the desert really exposing you to the beauty of this landscape. They offer all kinds of excursion that allows you to explore this gorgeous desert in various ways. The pool is enjoyable and a great social point. Food is amazing! And at night they have a wonderful fire camp with some traditional musicians creating a unique vibe. And by far, the most amazing part of this resort, is its employees…. The kindest hearts and most welcoming group of people you will ever meet… and i mean every single one of them from the cleaning ladies, to the food servers and bar hosts, to the reception managers who works side by side with all the other employees wherever they are needed, and all those others like the tour guides or anyone else i forgot to mention. We loved and appreciated them so much that we asked to take a picture with those available there before we left. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! Special Thanks to Ahmed!

I loved every bit of it!

An absolute dream. The staff were super welcoming and they were always checking on us. The facilities are just perfect with a lot of attention to detail. The food was extremely delicious and the amenities were great. I would totally recommend it.

Spacious. Clean. Luxe. Incredible once in a lifetime stay and experience - staff were phenomenal. My husband and I got super super sick on the way there and staff went above and beyond to make sure we had all we need. Note to get the number of the night manager and also the doctor they call out for emergencies. This doctor drove an hour to see my husband, at 11.30am and seriously saved his life. The staff cooked us food that we could tolerate. We were blessed to have been in such peaceful beautiful accom during that adventure! Camel ride at 8pm is a MUST!!!!

El aire acondicionado no funcionaba en ninguna de las 2 carpas y contra todo pronóstico los trabajadores del hotel y en especial Yussef con la mejor actitud nos ayudaron a resolver. Entiendo que la temperatura exterior era de 43 grados y con mas razón deberían tener los aires funcionando a tope (fuimos en pleno verano)

The service was outstanding from start to finish. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. There was an excellent range of activities on offer, and the beautiful pool with its beautiful view of the desert was very welcome on a hot day!

Una atención excelente! Al ser el último hotel tiene unas vistas espectaculares y multiples actividades para hacer. El trato y la comida es excelente. La piscina perfecta. Un dia tuvimos una tormenta de aire y nos invitaron a bebida gratis a modo comoensación. La habitacion tiene aire acondicionado y es muy agradable y amplia.

À échelle humaine, site pas trop grand. Plusieurs établissements sur la route, mais c’est le plus isolé. Superbe vue : les levers de soleil sont magnifiques. Vaste piscine : parfait avec des ados. Musique et chants berbères tous les soirs. Bonne bouffe. Personnel aux petits oignons.

Au top! Pour se reposer du bruit de Marrakech. L’hôtel est très bien, la chambre très spacieuse et confortable. On a bien mangé (dîner et petit déjeuner), prix très correctes. Belle piscine. L’hôtel propose aussi des activités, nous avons essayé le quand 1h dans le désert c’était très bien.

Twee dagen geboekt bij Oxygen Lodge en wat ben ik blij met deze keuze! Dit kleinschalige park ligt het verst van alle andere tentenkampen in de Agafay-woestijn, en dat is echt perfect als je op zoek bent naar rust. Zodra je de woestijn in rijdt, kom je langs de bekende kampen waar de bussen met toeristen, quads en kamelen af en aan rijden. Daar heb je veel geluidsoverlast van de quads en de vele dagjesmensen. Bij Oxygen Lodge ervaar je juist de stilte. Oxygen Lodge bestaat nu zes jaar en de tenten zijn prachtig, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Ze worden dagelijks schoongemaakt en je krijgt iedere dag schone handdoeken. Het zwembad is ruim genoeg, met comfortabele ligbedden en voldoende schaduwdoeken. Verwacht geen Sahara met uitgestrekte zandduinen; de Agafay-woestijn is een mix van steen en zand. Juist het glooiende landschap geeft een bijzondere woestijnbeleving en vormt een perfecte combinatie met een bezoek aan Marrakech. Het ontbijt is prima verzorgd, met heerlijke koffie, verse sinaasappelsap, jam, traditionele broodsoorten en pannenkoekjes. Ook het diner is erg goed. Een klein verbeterpuntje: er komen veel internationale gasten en ik denk dat een eenvoudige lunchkaart een mooie aanvulling zou zijn. Denk aan belegde broodjes, een tosti of kleine pizza’s. De huidige lunchkaart is hetzelfde als de dinerkaart en persoonlijk eet ik tussen de middag niet snel een tajine. Ook wat snacks zoals chips, chocoladerepen, ijsjes en smoothies zouden een leuke toevoeging zijn, zeker voor gezinnen met kinderen. Daarnaast viel mij op dat er weinig informatie wordt gegeven over het kraanwater in Marokko. Net als in veel Aziatische landen is het voor toeristen verstandig om flessenwater te gebruiken, ook voor het tandenpoetsen en het spoelen van je mond. Het zou fijn zijn als hierover bij aankomst een korte uitleg wordt gegeven. Tot slot zou ik adviseren om bij het zwembad een paar huisregels op te hangen.

Le personnel au petit soin

Personeel was heel betrokken en helpend. Je hoefde niets te vragen of ze stonden al voor ons klaar, zonder opdringerig te zijn. Het zwembad was fijn, de tent waar we in sliepen was luxe en schoon. Echt een vakantiegevoel ervaren.

Locatie is top! Uitzicht op zandbergen, heel afgelegen, prachtig gemaakt. Tent is heel luxe met alle gemakken. Eten was goed, er was vermaak door optreden en muziek, WK voetbal kijken was mogelijk, service gericht super aardig personeel. Het werd heel gezellig gemaakt, kampvuur ze vroegen of je een deken wilde, niets was teveel. Fijn zwembad, je kan allerlei activiteiten doen. Oase van rust na het drukke Marrakech. Het is een uur en 15 minuten rijden vanaf Marrakech. Geniet van de zonsondergang.
