GuimaGold

This is one of the best accommodations I have ever stayed in. We stayed four nights. From the moment we entered and the receptionist was so friendly. All of the staff were the same. The apartment was the cleanest I have ever stayed in. There was attention to detail everywhere. Washing machine, cooking facilities, coffee making machine, even remote controlled blinds operated from the bed panel, not one thing had been forgotten. There was even a separate little lounge area with a pull out bed if needed. They delivered breakfast in a basket to our door every morning and it was full of delicious foods. The location was perfect. A few minutes walk from the medieval square and about 10 mins walk to the Castle. We visited a wine farm and the owner went over and above to show my husband and I his vineyard and my husband tasted the wines. It is also near enough to walk to the cable car. Guimaraes itself was really a wonderful find. Weather perfect the whole week. In short a wonderful time.

Absolutely nothing I didn't like. I could not find one fault with Guima Gold.

Breakfast, comfort, location and parking all excellent

A localização excelente, pequeno almoço muito bom. Quartos grandes e limpos

The location was perfect. The room was perfect. Super clean, lots of storage, setup to feel like you could live there. Complete kitchen with dishes. The continental breakfast was delivered to your room. Overall one of the best places we have stayed at. It also had an elevator for those who can’t do stairs.

Nothing

Nada

I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. The rooms are super comfortable, quiet, and modern. The hotel is on a main street, but the windows are so thick (and there are 2 sets of windows), so inside it is very quiet. The entire hotel is very clean. The hotel is also in a perfect location. And the people that work there are very kind. And also the breakfast is great. If you are travelling to Guimaraes, you should stay here. I could not believe the price for the quality of the accommodation. Highly recommend it.

Only negative thing I could think of - if you do drive a car here & park in the parking garage that's just a few seconds away, be aware that if it is later at night, you may not be able to drive your car out of the garage at night. It is staffed during the day with people moving cars out of the way so you can get out, but at night, no one may be there.

Excellent hotel! Wonderful location. We loved everything about our stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We especially want to highlight the outstanding service, attentive staff, and superb breakfasts. We would happily come back again!

Excepcional . Os meus Parabéns ! Tudo fantástico !

O Check-Out podia ser até às 12 horas

Gratis bewaakte parkeerplaats nabij.

The communication with GuimaGold was detailed and very helpful. The flat is fantastically located for exploring the town by foot. Such a beautiful town with equally enchanting towns surrounding it. A car is a necessity for ease of access to all places. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect way to start the day. The flat itself is brilliantly designed, giving a feeling of home and comfort while away.

We wondered whether it would be possible to have one capsule for the washing machine available? It would be crazy for us to buy a whole packet! Otherwise, there is nothing we didn't like and would definitely come to stay again if back in the area.

The staff was very helpful and kind

The air conditioning wasn’t working properly

Que agradável surpresa! Bem decorado, mto bem apetrechado. Cama estupenda!

Parking incluido a 1 minuto.

The location was a very short walk to the historic centre. Very quite a night and the accommodation is huge

Nothing

Luxe, comfort, toplocatie, goede prijs

We were upgraded to a wonderful room on the 4th floor. It included a balcony and city viewing spot from spiral staircase

N/A. All was wonderful including the excellent breakfast that was delivered to our room each morning

Super friendly staff and beautiful room! Probably one of the best aparthotel I have been!

The receptionist is VERY friendly, and assisted with everything - even showed us everything in the apartment ! The facilities in the apartment is great and looks new ! Parking was very easy and close the the apartment and it is within walking distance from the tourist sights. It offer GREAT value for money !

Really nice funky apartment in well serviced hotel. Very striking decor, lots of nice touches, great breakfast and great facilities. Fabulous location close to the historical centre. Serviced parking nearby. Highly recommended.

Tout !!!! Tout est très bien . Parfait 👍🏻

Rien

The best accommodation in Portugal for us! Really, the services were famous and atmosphere here is excellent. The higher price is adequate to very above-standard experiences.

De Tudo. Espetacular, espaço muito limpo e organizado, conforto muito bom, localização excelente e o atendimento nota 10. Super recomendo.

Great clean room, well furnished, great location .

Sa situation dans la ville

Une chambre avec vue sur un mur

Eine Unterkunft zum absoluten ‚Wohlfühlen‘: Ausgezeichnete Sauberkeit, angenehme Betten, sehr gutes Frühstück, aufmerksame Gastgeber. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Communication was excellent from making the booking to the end of the stay. Nothing was too much trouble and any small issues dealt with kindness and without fuss. 1096 was a perfect space for two, beautifully appointed - immaculately clean and attention to detail for the travellers needs. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of wardrobe storage so nothing was cluttered. The breakfast basket is such a bonus and our needs perfectly catered for which we appreciated hugely. The location is a very short walk to the historic centre. An excellent supermarket on the same street and walkable to very good cafes and restaurants very close by. All the Team we encountered were charming and friendly and so helpful. We would love to come and stay again and will recommend highly.

Superb location, about 50m from the historic central area of Guimaraes Free parking included for one car in an off-road garage about 50m walk away. (Quite tight getting in - you have to negotiate a ramp in the pavement.) The apartment was enormous! Large sleeping area, kitchen/dining area, small lounge, large bathroom and large hall. Spotlessly clean. Looked like it was brand new. A simple cold breakfast was even provided! Really helpful welcome and suggestions for visits. Terrific value!

With the windows open there was some road noise from the cobbled road outside, but with the double glazing windows closed this was not a problem.

Todo impecable. Cómodo. En perfecto estado. Luminoso. Servicio de parking.

El desayuno podría mejorarse un poco.

Very luxueus large room with a wonderful breakfast in de middle of Guimarães.

Nothing

An exceptional stay. Very cleverly designed room. Beautifully decorated. Fully stocked kitchen. Wonderful breakfast hamper delivered to the room in the morning. Great communication. Friendly staff. Very comfortable bed & pillows. Perfect location. Car parking available for free next door. Would definitely stay here again.

Nada a apontar

Set your guidance to Parque Gil Vincente. Hotel has a free parking agreement with them. Park and head out the lower entrance and the hotel is to the left in 75 meters, just pasted the food store. They will give you a parking pass to put in your car window. Front desk is open on and off for this boutique motel/apartment. Great staff. Beautiful rooms. Modern with everything you need. Close to all the sites. Highly recommend. Breakfast to your room in a basket.

The service was extremely friendly, both receptionist and the housekeeper we encountered were extremely lovely! Even with a language barrier we felt really comfortable and looked-after.

Spacious apartment. Super clean. Really well-equipped for self catering. Great location near the historical centre. Clear instructions to access. Great breakfast delivered to our door each morning.

Superb location, awesome facilities and amenities, wonderful service. Breakfast was great, taken to the room every morning. The crew were all just amazing. Easy parking <100m away from the place. 10/10.

Great staff and so helpful. Great decor. We really enjoyed our stay. Comfortable beds. Bathroom well outfitted and included a washer/dryer. Very pleasant stay.

This property exceeded our expectations! The suite was outstanding! Clean, quiet, well equipped kitchen and washroom, comfortable king size bed! Location is within easy walking distance to the historic center! Plus, they provided an outstanding breakfast! I wish we had booked more than one night!

There was not a single thing to be negative about!
