Nothing as they this boy man male had verbally attacked me by phone call message to cancel that booking for to me
As they are all such SKUM SKUM SKUM SKUM people boys girls staff
It was a very relaxing stay with a fantastic choice of very well kept real ales. Breakfast was fantastic and huge! Bed was extremely comfortable Staff were great and the place was very laid back and comfortable.
Wifi didn't work in the bedroom which was a bit disappointing
Crap breakfasts and nasty skumy give me the creeps staff boys girls
The staff are fake and vile and did not give me any information about a party with a disc jockey dj from before rhe evening until nearly one the following morning
Great selection of ales and the cob sandwiches were very good.
Nothing I can think of
Just nice all round up
Nothing I didn't like
This is a great pub, lovely rooms and really friendly staff. Recommend it as a great place to stay in the Black Country. Amazing breakfast on request.
Great service, lovely breakfast, helpful staff.
Everyone we met among the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location was ideal (right next to Stourbridge Junction).
Exceptional decor, great atmosphere and it felt I had come home. I add that I had come to visit my home town and see my siblings I had a very good stay greatly helped by having a base to visit from. The Seven Stars is within a 150 yds of Stourbridge Junction and ideal for anyone travelling by train. The staff made my stay great and could not have been more helpful and welcoming.
A small but important problem was the shower temperature control exacerbated by painfully too hot water. The heat control was very difficult to turn. Certainly impossible for arthritic hands. This urgently needs fixing.
Very clean and comfortable room
Great traditional pub. Beautiful inside with lots of victorian features and an incredible bar. The staff were all incredibly friendly and made a really happy team. We met friends in the pub that evening and had a great time. The room was really lovely - high ceilings and spacious - and spotlessly clean. A fan had been provided to help with the heat - but we didn't really need it as we left one of the windows open and there was a fresh breeze all night. Great tea and coffee making facilities - and a lovely shower. We didn't eat breakfast as they didn't have any GF products (for which they apologised).
Nothing! All was really great!
This place sells itself on being a traditional pub with rooms. When you arrive that is exactly what you get - from the wally tiles to the multiple ales in the bar. Well kept and stocked rooms with tea making facilities large shower and big comfortable bed. One of the best breakfasts I have had anywhere that after over 30 years on the road.
No hot meals although the traditional cobs - rolls served were very good. All in all very little not to like.
Lovely building. Friendly staff. Good beer choices.
Would have liked to have evening meal option.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Room clean and had everything that was needed. Optional breakfast was very good and an enormous plate of food - set us up for the day! Bar had a very wide selection of real ales (we weren't there long enough to sample them sadly!). This is a pub with rooms and not a full service hotel but suited us very well for a short stay.
Can't really fault it for what it is (except perhaps the en-suite extractor fan being a bit noisy).
Fantastic stay friday night, great pub abd breakfast was awesome.
That we had to go home
The location for us was perfect, we didn’t have breakfast there as we were planning to have brunch with friends. But I must say about the staff , they were extremely friendly and helpful in any way they could. We asked for early check in , no problem there . They took us in with a wide smile on the face :) . The room was spacious and comfortable, and very clean.
Nothing really ….. I was a bit disappointed as they didn’t have a restaurant to serve dinner but it wouldn’t stop me from coming back to this place , there are other places you can eat.
The room and en suite were very clean and nicely done. It was very welcoming when I arrived.
There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like at the property. It was nice.
Bed too small
Staff are great and friendly👍great bar and the fresh rolls they make there are great👍rooms are great clean and tidy too👍
Beer selection Room and room size Hosting Breakfast was probably the best I have ever had
Nothing but be aware the food at night is sandwiches and fries
Breakfast was great and it was close to the station
Lovely staff. Clean comfortable room.

Great pub, comfortable room, very nice staff, great real ales, Black Country Ales, and others. Live music Saturday nights. Full English breakfast for £9. It's a dog friendly pub. Will stay here again. Historic building.
Everything was great
Nothing
The attention to detail for original features like the tiles etched glass and original- protected - bar.
I’d have said it’s on a main road and limited parking. But. Surprisingly quiet considering so close to the train station. (And I had my indie open as very hot) Also I got penultimate parking space phew.
Lovely heritage pub, great staff
Unbearable heat with no air con and fans provid d were feeble - so bad I couldn't stay and had to go home.
Lovely staff and great shower, room clean and brilliant coffee maker.
Downstairs has Aircon but not upstairs so I wouldn't stay there in warm weather. No Aircon and fans feeble - it was so unbearable I had to go home a day early. Despite it being unseasonably hot, no effort made to buy more effective fans. No food at night and charged for breakfast so not great value for money
We had a lovely stay in a wonderful pub. The staff were super-friendly, if possibly a bit disorganised regarding info about breakfast. The beer selection was amazing, and everything we tried was on good form. Our friends spoke highly about the bar food – pork pies and cobs. The bed was comfy, the shower good...and the breakfast was BRILLIANT. Plenty of bacon and great big sausages, amongst other things on the plate. Lastly, the pub has been (and is continuing to be) lovingly restored to its former glories...and then some! We were lucky enough to spend a bit of time chatting with the manager, who's doing a grand job. We'd happily stay there again if we're ever in the area.
Nothing.
It’s a very characterful pub with a small number of hotel rooms. The staff were excellent and made us feel like we were staying in their home. The room was comfortable and breakfast is huge and very tasty. Overall excellent value for money
Nothing
Staff helpful and friendly along with their other customers. Loved the preservation of original architectural features in the building. A bonus of good live music on our 2nd nights stay.
Not much for vegetarians to eat, crisps and chips. Why put bacon in the egg mayo bread roll? We would have had that without the bacon. A written choice of what was available for breakfast would have been good, especially as we had to order breakfast the night before at a set price. We didn't have breakfast as a result.
Loved it being a traditional pub. Lots of original features.
All was good 👍
Well presented room. Very clean. Hospitality tray was a lovely touch. Very comfy bed. Can't fault it.Id definitely stay here again;
Fantastic pub and hotel historic period features. Spotlessly clean , ample sized room with ultra comfortable bed. Many quality quest ales to choose from. Super sized cobs available from the bar and the best breakfast ever mega full English. All the staff and the owners were extremely friendly helpful and always had time for a good chat. Can highly recommend and we will definitely be having a return visit.
The history and local information.
This is a classic pub, set up originally as a show pub by the M&B brewery. It has a great range of real ales, the room was great breakfast (which is a reasonably priced extra) was great.
No food apart from sandwiches. Not really a problem as there are loads of places around to eat.
The Seven Stars is a public house with rooms above. The rooms are very well presented, clean and comfortable. The pub itself is renowned locally for its selection of beers- it is a drinkers dream……! They also have a meals/restaurant area. We had a Sunday roast which was superb. Even the snacks - the areas famous ‘Cob’ buns - are delicious if you want something lighter. As for the location, close to the centre and right next to the train station.
There is nothing to dislike. Everything perfect.
All the beer on tap, service was excellent, room clen and well presented.
Toast was a little dry.. but hey, if that's all!
Absolutely Stunning Place. Convenient location. Lovely Staff, amazing Breakfast. My Partner loved the 15 real ales . Can't wait to return.
Nothing to dislike
What an absolute gem this place is! The tiles and stained glass are gorgeous. Really special and very friendly.
Nothing! It was just brill.

The welcome on arrival, the standard of the room, the 25 beers on tap, the great breakfast.
Location
It’s an old pub which has kept the original feature. The rooms are modern
Lovely room with a comfortable bed. Great selection of beers available in the bar. Good value for money. Would happily stay here again.
The bathroom sink was slow draining and could do with some drain unblocker being put down it.
Handy location for us to attend a wedding locally Staff were very welcoming and friendly Comfortable bed and hot shower Clean and facilities good
No room service for second day so drinks facilities not replenished.
Proper old Black Country pub, full of Victorian type tiling on the walls - impressive. Brilliant range of locally brewed ales - too many to mention. Room was excellent - spacious and well equipped, nice comfy bed, plenty of tea/coffee/milk. En-suite bathroom spacious too, and plenty of toiletries provided. Breakfast was excellent, 2 of everything, for under a tenner. Bostin fittle, ay it. Landlord good 'mine host', and great to chat to. All of the staff very pleasant and helpful.
Parking is very restricted. Could've done with a fridge in the room. Checkout really early at 10-00am.
Superb pub, with good beer & a proper Black Country welcome.
That I couldn’t stay longer!! Oh, and the bathroom could use a few shelves for bits & pieces.
Everything was perfect.
Nothing!
Friendly staff pub was brilliant great range of beers Room was amazing very clean and the attention to detail was greatly see ... there was enough milk to make more than one cup of tea so a winner for me :-)

Ideal location ☺️, suited our requirements perfectly. Staff and management were extremely friendly and so welcoming. Would definitely stay here again
The staff were amazing and super friendly. The breakfast was absolutely first class and excellent value for money. The room was spotless and very well put together.
It wasn't a huge issue, but parking was a little problematic as the pub only has around 12 spaces available. We did eventually manage to snaffle a space on both nights, and it felt very secure due to the cameras.
Clean, well maintained and great location

Breakfast was huge! It was value for money. We would have preferred to select what we wanted on the morning and would not have asked for the quantity. It would have been good to be told there was a band on that evening. Towels, TV drinks and biscuits were all good
The bathroom was a bit sparce. Needed somewhere to hang towels. There was a sharp unfinished handel inside the shower door. The shower head was poor, either needs cleaning or replacing Would have been good to be informed of the live music that evening
We were taking part in the Black Country Ale Trail and this pub suited that as it is one of the chain...I didn't doubt it would be a fab place as all their pubs are super cozy, friendly and nicely decorated and always with a warm welcome! The Seven Stars did not disappoint on anyof those things. We had a monster tasty breakfast....Kept us full all day!
Our room was super comfy and had all the treats that you would expect from a high-end hotel The only exception being the tiniest of bath towels! Also the wooden bed frame that was not great as it was sat at an angle in the room and I have the bruise to prove it...Sure if I'd stayed for an extra night thiswould of been overcome :)
A quirky, one-off hotel. Warm and comfortable. The bar open for a night-cap. We've stayed several times when visiting family and have always enjoyed the experience. A different place to stay at very reasonable price.
Room, generous sized bathroom, coffee machine. Lovely breakfast. Kind and helpful staff
The hosts are wonderful. Very friendly and nothing is too much. Our third stay and won't be our last. Breakfast is a stand out. Huge portion for the full English. Superb quality especially the sausages. Room is very well appointed and clean and bed is comfy (albeit a bit small for us! See below).
We struggle with a double bed but it's a compromise we're happy to make for the atmosphere at the hotel.
Breakfast was exceptional, good value and lots of it
Situated close to Stourbridge Junction Station. We received a warm welcome. It's a beautiful historic pub. Clean, comfortable room. Great bar selling excellent beer. Cheese and onion cob and chips-whats not to love!! Breakfast was lovely. Service from everyone was first class. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.
Nothing!
Left very early so no breakfast. Friendly welcoming staff in a great British pub. Very good room
Nothing wrong
Breakfast excellent. Location good.
All excellent.
The breakfast was amazing. Great value for the price .
The only complaint would be that the bed was only a double and too soft for us
Very good.
Comfortable room, with plenty of coffee etc. great breakfast
Near the Station, A well preserved pub. An ideal modern well used pub with nice customers and staff
dogs
Lovely room, very clean, great shower. Very good cooked breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. Interesting and beautiful building and decor. Would definitely stay again! 😊
Nothing to dislike!
Very friendly owners and staff. Great room, comfortable, clean and all facilities. Excellent breakfast.
A little warmer in the bedroom if possible
Excellent staff, location & very comfortable room.
We had a warm welcome. The room was clean and well equipped. The breakfast was stunningly good. Add to that the location being so convenient for the station and a great selection of real ales. What not to like!!
It was comfortable and perfect for a group of friends to stay. V useful to be next door to the station too! All the staff were v friendly and helpful, we would def stay again.
Clean friendly convenient
Loved it all
Comfortable room and breakfast second to none.
Nothing
Great location next to the train station. Room was very quiet. Clean and good sized room
Couldnt get the coffee machine to work
Pleasant staff - good breakfast, value for money
Understaffed at bar to check in - we had to wait a long time. A member of the public, who had been drinking in the bar downstairs entered our room- he said he was looking for the toilet ! Clearly not ! The staff didn’t seem too concerned about it. It frightened my partner! More security required
Fab hotel...wonderful original Edwardian pub!
Nothing!
Friendly staff, great location for the train station. Excellent bar
We stopped two nights couldn't fault our stay breakfast was amazing
Great stay from start to finish. The accommodation was spotlessly clean throughout and all the staff were very welcoming and pleasant. Good shower and nice and warm room. Breakfast was more than plentiful and nicely cooked and presented. Peter and Ruth must be proud of their staff and facilities.
Staff were lovely - Room exceptionally clean - lovely add on toiletries and biscuits 🍪
Near to where I needed to be and fantastic breakfast
Nothing, all very good
Great choice of real ales. Lovely historic building that has not been spoiled. Very friendly and helpful staff. Comfy rooms. FABULOUS breakfast.
Would have liked an evening meal, which they don't do, but we easily found a cab to a brilliant curry house in Stourbridge and actually enjoyed going out for the evening.
Delicious
Staff, absolutely brilliant. And absolutely friendly.Show me where to go.And the drinks were absolutely cheap and room.Absolutely fabulous yeah
Tv was absolutely good. They had bbc iplayer, netflix and amazon prime
Clean and comfortable room. Very friendly and helpful staff. On the final night of my stay, they unfortunately had a water pipe burst, which meant that everyone had to leave because they had no running water. The staff arranged and paid for alternative accommodation for everyone. Excellent customer service.
Nothing
The pub is characterful and the staff very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, particularly if you are travelling by train. The room was really nice, with some nice welcoming touches and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was clean and tidy. Despite the pub being clearly very popular and busy, the soundproofing blocks out nearly all noise from the pub below. The breakfast, although not included in the price, was also a brilliant way to start the day! Would definitely stay again.
Very minor things - the shower head needed some attention as it wasn't sealed correctly. There was some noise from people leaving the pub but this didn't go on too late and has to be expected if you are staying in this kind of accommodation.
