Il personale è stato gentilissimo unica pecca, non parlava inglese.

Le cadre très reposant , autour des rizières, la piscine donnant aussi sur les rizières. Le personnel très gentil et serviable et toujours souriant.

Petit déjeuner, un peu léger ( 2 œufs, 1 tranche et demie de pain de mie et quelques morceaux de fruits). Être au milieu des rizières a son lot de surprises: l odeur des veaux arrivait dans la salle de bain/ 1e nuit , on a eu un festival de bruits de coqs, de chiens ...Ce n est pas du fait de l hôtel mais si vous recherchez le calme complet , ce n est pas le meilleur endroit.

For an overnight stay in Sumberkima this was perfect for me. Comfortable bed, cool modern air con, beautiful rice paddies and mountains just there, and my breakfast scrambled eggs were simple but yummy. Everything was good, happy to stay again.

The lumbung huts aren't exactly noise proof so if you're sensitive take ear-plugs, but this wasn't an issue for me.

Lovely cabins in the rice paddies. No TV was good. Staff organised travel locally. Breakfast basic but good. Good Wifi. Outdoor bathroom was cute and functional. No bugs. Only 4 cabins. Pool was small but sufficient. Free Shute to Sumberkin Hill Retreat with several restaurants. People absolutely gorgeous especially the children on the walk to Mangroove.

No eateries nearby. Only breakfast served. No bar but small 'corner shops on the road.

Alles. Super schöne Bungalows, sehr modern und sauber. Ein echter Traum. Der Eigentümer hat uns immer weitergeholfen und sogar einen Fahrer für unseren nächsten Stopp, welcher fünf Autostunden entfernt lag, organisiert. Seine Frau hat sehr lecker gekocht.

Clean and comfortable. The property including the room was as pictured. Staff were polite, friendly, and proactive. The cabins are cute, the location is scenic, the pool and adjacent rice fields provide a pretty foreground to the nearby mountains. Bathroom (outdoor) facilities were good, with hot water and good pressure. Breakfast was good, simple - about what I expect for this type of accommodation in Bali. Overall a good value, and I'd be happy to stay again.

Ce lieu est exceptionnel! C'est beau, vue sur les rizières, au calme et surtout un personnel très agréable. Il y a un côté familial car seulement 4 logements. Tout est fait avec goût. C'est à la fois simple et déroutant pour nous français car la salle de bain est dehors, accolée à la chambre. Mais cela n'est pas dérangeant car il fait toujours très chaud. C'est agréable et beau. La piscine est superbe. Vue direct sur les rizières. Made est adorable, très arrangeant et serviable. Les repas sont servis sur la terrasse avec vue sur la piscine et les rizières. Le repas est très bon. Tout est parfait. Je recommande vivement ce logement!

Nous n’avions pas regardé avant mais nous n’avons pas eu les belles rizières, nous l’avions choisi pour ça exactement et ce n’était que de la boue … et je dirai que les douches et équipements sont à revoir.

Die Unterkunft ist ein Traum. Wenn man in Pemuteran unterwegs ist, würde ich diese Unterkunft definitiv empfehlen. Made ist ein wunderbarer Host und wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Hütten sind sehr schön, sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Ebenso würde ich empfehlen, jn der Unterkunft zu Abend zu essen. Das Essen ist frisch und sehr lecker! Wir konnten uns auch einen Roller leihen. Würden jederzeit wiederkommen :)

Direkt an den Reisfeldern zwischen den Einheimischen, war eine sehr gute Erfahrung!!! Die Besitzer Made und seine Frau sind äusserst herzlich und fürsorglich 👌. Die Touren die Made für mich organisiert hat waren von einheimischen Führern begleitet und bestens durchgeführt. Ich fühlte mich herzlichst willkommen und sehr wohl! Über die religiöse Kultur der Hindus konnte ich von Made auch eine Menge erfahren. Ein Roller ist von Vorteil um kleine Ausflüge (Therme/Strand mit der Möglichkeit zum schnorcheln) alleine durchzuführen zu können. Made vermittelt jedoch auch einen ganz tollen Fahrer der Putu heißt.

Das Frühstück könnte würde ich mir etwas abwechslungsreicher vorstellen, vielleicht mit einer Vorbestellung am Vortag, damit die Zutaten besorgt werden können🫶.

The property is absolutely gorgeous. Smalll property with only four villas. The owners wife cooked for me each night. The chicken satay is amazing. The pool is perfect for picture taking. Very good vibes and no issues. Owner of villa checked on me each day to make sure all is well. When I come back to this area for snorkel I will come back to umma.

Wir waren nun das dritte Mal hier umd wieder total begeistert! Hier stimmt einfach alles!! Die Lage, die Umgebung, die wunderbare Unterbringung in traditionellen, sehr gut ausgestatteten „Lumbungs“ und die liebevolle Betreuung durch Made und seine Frau😍❤️👍! Unbedingt die leckeren und preiswerten Speisen des angeschlossenen Reataurants probieren. Zwar gibt es in der Umgebung noch weitere Möglichkeiten zum Dinner, aber Preis-und Leistung (Qualität und Geschmack) sind bei Made unschlagbar😋👍! Wir vergeben als Gesamtwertung wieder eine 12 !!!

Prachtige locatie en de acco is kleinschalig. De eigenaar is zeer behulpzaam en heeft verstand van zaken. De huisjes zijn er mooi, met name de badkamer.

Il posto è speciale, ideale per rilassarsi. Immerso nelle risaie e senza zanzare. Pulizia e super gentilezza sono garantite. Siamo stati trattati come fossimo della famiglia. Il proprietario gentilissimo e sempre presente, ci ha supportato nell'organizzare alcune escursioni. Assolutamente ci tornerei!!!

Made was great to communicate with and speaks good English. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. This is a good place to stay to experience what it is like to stay in a village atmosphere. Kids were playing with their kites and you are amongst a rice field. Breakfast was fine. Fruit and eggs on toast.

There are no restaurants in walking distance so you do need transport. We did have a motorbike.

There is no restaurant in the retreat, fridge in the room would be nice and breakfast very minimal, no coffee machine for a decent cup of coffee.

Very relaxing property. There are 4 bungalows set in peaceful rice fields. My bungalow was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast next to the pool was good. Staff was nice and helpful. I stayed here for 2 nights to relax after some adventures in Java and was really pleased with my choice to stay here.

Pool was a bit small. My first day there was a family with young kids in the pool and it felt a bit tight to share between us all. However my next day I had the pool to myself so it was fine.

Our host Made and his family are very welcoming, friendly and attentive without being in any way intrusive. Made's English is excellent and we had some interesting conversations about life in northern Bali. Breakfast was simple but delicious. We only had dinner there one night but it was very nice. There are also several other decent options for dining out in the local area, some within walking distance. The location was very convenient for our diving activities which departed from the little Sumberkima harbour just down the road. Loved the outdoor bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Also highly recommend the massage service available.

The cabins are a charming traditional wooden design but lack insulation and there is no ceiling fan, so the little aircon unit struggled to keep the temperature at a comfortable level. It was very hot in October, and even though we are from Darwin and used to the heat, we are also used to having ceiling fans everywhere and we really felt the lack of one. Natural ventilation could be improved if the door to the outside bathroom had a hook on it to hold it open when wanted. The local mosque is quite close and we were woken by the loudspeakers every morning around 5am - they seem to start up even before the roosters. I suppose one gets used to it eventually.

Idyllic setting, looking out at a small rice field with mountain backdrop. Loved the lumbung, the room the balcony and the bathroom!! Staff very helpful, arranged tours and scooter for me, everything was seamless.

The hospitality of the owner. He helped us organize excursions. Such as the boat trip to the dolphins or the cultural trips to the nearby temples.Very nice and quiet room. Nice view of the rice field. We would definitely go back. Side note: I am going to send a video of the property to the owner. So he can share it on social media.

First of all, the location is amazing. It is very close to nature with all its beauty in landscape, flora and sounds. You can get a very authentic picture of life on Bali here. Then on top of that, Made, the host, is a very generous and kind man, who will make sure that you have the perfect stay and that your every wish will be fulfilled.

We had a phenomenal stay at Made’s place. He is one of a kind host that is always willing to help. The place is gorgeous, and the pool was great. Breakfast was excellent too. We enjoyed chatting with Made, and learning about Bali and its traditions.

Maybe the only thing that can be improved is the wifi speed.

I was bite by fleas, almost 100 bite on my limbs! At first I thought I was bite by mosquito, but after I back to canggu and saw a doctor, he told me it’s flea….I never been bite so bad in my entire life! The host should do a thorough insecticide

There are four beautifully clean lumbung style rooms overlooking the rice paddies and the Menjangan hills. Our room had great air conditioning, comfortable beds and the bali style outdoor bathroom is among the best we have come across. It is walking distance to other great restaurants but Nila’s cooking is superb so if you don’t want to go out you can stay in and enjoy some fantastic food. Made organised our snorkelling and transport needs at great prices without any hassles. We had some great conversations with Made during our stay and learnt more about the Balinese culture and beliefs on this visit than we had in 20 years of visiting the island. Thanks for a wonderful time. We will definitely return!

This place is a hidden gem! Located in a nice, quiet area, in a small village in north of Bali, far from the tourist crowds where muslim and hindu people live in harmony. The villas are big, very clean and comfortable, with wonderful outside bathrooms. The garden is actually a rice field which brings a relaxing feeling to the place. There is also a small restaurant for the guests on the property and a pool, perfect after a hot day🥰 The owner is really nice and helpful, he also arranged a great massage for us and recommended a place to eat, as the restaurant was closed the evening when we arrived because of a village ceremony - where we were invited the next day🙏🏼. Also we were greeted with cold coconuts, a small detail that brought us joy. We would totally recommend the retreat and for sure we will come back for a longer stay.

The owner was very friendly, he provided all the necessary details on what to do nearby. The view was absolutely superb and the room polished clean. Pool nicely maintained, I could say that the food is not that great in diversity but who doesn’t like scrambled eggs on toast with some fresh fruit! Absolutely recommend!

Made has been an outstanding host. One of the best we had during our Bali’s trip. He’s kind, discreet and will exchange about the Balinese culture thoroughly. Our discussion will stay in our mind for a long time. The cottages are clean, cute and the pool with the view in the rice fields is soothing and peaceful. Moreover, his wife is an incredible cook as we ate the fish with the special Umma sauce that was very tasty. I can’t recommend enough to drop to Umma Bali if you are staying around Permuteran area. He will lighten your stay. We will definitely come back if we are in bali again. Thanks Made

Unfortunately, neighbours can be a bit noisy during the day but that didn’t bothered us too much.

A fantastic getaway spot. Sooo peaceful set amongst the rice paddies. Made was an amazing host, very efficient and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly return. A couple of good restaurants close by as well.

Only comment would be it would be good to stock Radlers for those who don't drink Bintangs.

A beautiful place, and the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on! A very kind and helpful host (Made) who helped us to organise our activities and provided great suggestions. The food was delicious. We didn't want to leave.

This was a lovely place to stay and Made was a great host. The food was yum and any trips you wanted could be booked easily.

The cost of day activities were significantly cheaper from Permuteran (only 10min down the road), so if you plan on activities, bring your own transport.

Very friendly and agreeable host. Made did everything to make our stay comfortable. He booked snorkeling trip for us even it was late evening. I could borrow his motorbike to get some diner in town. I highly recommend this beautiful place. We saw lots of animals in the park (black and grey monkeys, wild boars, and deers), amazing beautiful coral reefs to visit by snorkeling at menjangan island.

The equipment provided by the snorkeling tour was not fitting our mensuration (fins size). The informations regarding how to do treks in the national park are not very clear. The West Bali National park is actually the most dirty place I have seen there, more plastic than sand on the beach. Most probably trashes come from Java island, such a pity for a natural reserve.

Absolutely stunning slice of paradise that is very private despite the stretching views of the mountains/fields. The pictures on the website are true to life, and there are no sneaky camera angles or nasty surprises like so many other places I’ve been to have! My room and the whole facility was ridiculously clean, and the highlight of the whole experience is the hosts themselves. I have visited Bali many times and their hospitality really stands out. Nothing is too much trouble, and they were more than happy to accomodate my dietary restrictions and have a hot meal ready and waiting for my 8pm arrival. As a woman traveling alone, they made me feel incredibly safe my entire stay.

By the nature of this part of Bali generally, I recommend that no matter where you choose to stay, if you’re a light sleeper; pack some ear plugs! The morning combination of roosters and the local mosques certainly had me greeting the morning earlier than I would normally. On the upside, the view of the micro-bats, birds and misty hills was absolutely breathtaking at that time of the morning!

10 out of 10. The complex has a pleasing layout - surrounded by padi fields and a small pool. Sitting in lounge chairs, we saw many birds (rails, herons and egrets, and swiftlets). The rooms are clean and comfortable. The outdoor bathroom was spacious and always had hot water. The food was simple, fresh and delicious. The owner immediately responded to our every request, recommended activities and restaurants, and arranged shuttles. He made it easy for us to enjoy rural Bali with traditional hospitality. We had lots of fun snorkeling, birding, diving, and seeing the mangroves.

Definitely the best accommodation during our trip to Bali. Made and his family welcomed us warmly and throughout our stay they were very attentive and kind. The rooms and the facilities are spotless and you can feel the the whole place was made with quality and attention to details. In this hidden location a full service is proposed with activities, restaurant, SPA treatments, driver, etc. All you need to do is to go there and enjoy your time!

Everything was just perfect!

We stayed here for 2 nights during our trip in Bali. This retreat, which is located in a small rice field, has a nice view on the nearby mountains. It is owned and managed by the host Made & his family. They are very kind, helpful and hospitable people. It’s possible to book several activities in the surrounding area from the retreat. We booked a snorkeling tour and it was totally worth it. The host also helped us book a dinner at a nearby beach. I highly recommend this stay if you are looking for a peaceful place to reside in North-Wast Bali.

Absolutely the best place to stay and enjoy the serenity nature has to offer with 5 ⭐️ quality service. Beautifully appointed rooms with everything at your fingertips including country lifestyle, snorkelling, diving and much much more. It truly is a hidden gem with beautiful hosts who couldn’t do enough to make your stay perfect. 2nd time staying, next time we will stay longer.

The view is STUNNING! But, the best thing about this place is the owner, Made. We were the only guests when we were there, something that could also be a bit awkward. But he made us feel really comfortable. He is kind, funny, hospitable and speaks English very well. Comfortable beds and the food was excellent as well! Had a great stay!

Wow wow wow! So off the beaten track, yet so accessible and the location for Snorkeling Menjangan was just perfect as it was only a 15 minute drive away for us. The room itself was stunning, with all the amenities you need. The outdoor bathroom was so beautiful, and well thought out. Everything was so pretty. The rice fields at your front door. The hosts were so lovely and welcoming, and the pool was refreshing and a wonderful spot to sit and gaze out at the fields from. Access to earrings is only a 5 minute walk to the Main Street, but why bother when you have the best cooked meal in house as though you are staying at a 5 star resort.

A wonderful intimate hotel (only 4 houses) situated among the rice fields. The owners are very nice and helpful, caring for the comfort of guests. Delicious cuisine with local dishes. A very good place to relax and see the real Bali away from the main tourist routes.

Made and his wife created a home from home. A place you don't want to leave. Lovely designed bungalows with comfy bed and AC, a great pool, great breakfast and that all amidst rice fields and in a small village close to Pemuteran. White Sand Beach and Pemuteran Beach are not far away but you can also just enjoy a walk along the rice fields and observe the life in the village. Made and his wife are always there to help you and happy to talk about their Balinese life and traditions. I'll come back for sure.

This place is amazing. It only has 4 rooms and is locally run by Made and his wife. Not only is it cute as a perfect picture it is full of love and positive energy. Everything is perfect. Made and his wife have an eye for detail everything is thought of. It is exceptionally clean. The linen and towels smell amazing and are so clean and fresh. The gardens are amazing and well looked after. Made is so helpful, friendly, informative and speaks very good english. Made and his wife take pride in this property and you can feel how well loved it is. The homeade meals here are the best meals we have had. We loved the peacefulness and enjoyed watching the rice farms attend to their land. The swimming pool is a treat to cool off in. The whole property is well looked after and was a pleasure to stay there. Don't hesitate to stay here you will love it!!! I wish we stayed longer.

There was nothing not to like at all.

Absolutely idyllic! We were going to stay for 2 nights, we extended for 5 nights in total. The rice fields, the mountains, the stars at night… The beds are super comfortable. The wooden bungalows couldn’t be cozier. The outdoor bathroom is fantastic. The swimming pool right there. Great homemade food! Everything is spotless, the cleanest accommodation I’ve stayed at and seen in Indonesia. For the record, this is my 5th time in this wonderful country. Made, the owner, and his wife, the nicest people you can imagine. Ketut, the driver who they provided us with is such kind person. They all are always willing to make your stay easy and comfortable. We will definitely come back for an even longer stay!
