Came here to do some work for a few days. Really not a bad stay, I got a large room and it was comfortable and clean. The bed was cozy and the AC worked well. The 20 minute or so stroll into the heart of Christchurch will do you good. I did not partake of the breakfast but it was offered and there was plenty of tea, a hot water kettle, and utensils on offer. The location is a bit north of the center of town, so could be described as out of the way, this might be a perk. The staff was friendly and produced an accurate invoice for work when I checked out. If the Wifi were faster I could see myself staying here again.

The curtains were all or nothing - they either block out all the light or have no privacy. Would have preferred a privacy screen that splits the difference. The shower is puny and a good deal of it is taken up with fixtures. I would have liked a bath mat or two but towels worked in a pinch. No elevator to the second level, this didn't bother me but be aware. Crucially, the wifi was quite slow, or limited at least. It was stable, however. Housecleaning ignored the 'do not disturb' notice on my door and woke me up, only once though.

Was such a nice old time hotel feel while having all mod cons. The lady on the front desk was absolutely lovely and I felt very welcomed and was given directions and recommendations for the city. The bed was unreal. I had one of the best nights sleep I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend The Salisbury

Shower pressure and no rubbish bin in the kitchen and there was one for the room but better with a lid.

The hotel was very clean and beautifully maintained. The room was cozy, comfortable, and had a warm atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The front desk staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Three bedrooms in our little apartment as well as area to eat and relax. It was a good walk into town for food and plenty of parking available. Loved the courtyard feel outside our front door - staff were really welcoming, too.

Our room was on the ground floor on the corner by a junction where we could hear some road noise.

The Location was good, had everything, we need, clean, quite and comfy, suitable for business travel, the fast internet was great 👍 for my meeting online. A lot of parking for free.

The property is very stylish, with a grand central courtyard, which is covered, so you can sit down there in all weathers. Convenient on-site parking. Only 10-15 minute walk, or 3 minute scooter ride to New Regent St restaurants.

The TV position isn't ideal for watching from the bed, but it's the only place for it, realistically. The light above the kitchen bench had a touch sensor which has a blue light which lights up the bedroom, and I needed to cover it to sleep. The window looked out to a neighboring wall but it had been cleverly utilised by the painting of a mural and cool lighting.

Central location - a short walk to the city and Town Hall concert venue. Hotel was very clean albeit decor a bit tired. Good value for money.

I thought the property was marvellous. There were the odd little thing like loose toilet roll holder. ( falling off)There had a been louvre shower screen fitted at some point but the original shower screen rail and rings were still hanging. Certainly not a deal breaker though

The aggressive rude Asian Minnie who checked me in brutally arguing with me about doubting my prepayment through Booking.com. Advance paid by my company. She wanted the company’s credit card which was in Auckland. Horrible person!!

Quite a new boutique hotel. Unusual and pleasing courtyard design. Quality through out. Car parking tight but adequate. Comfortable beds well designed bathroom. A shower that doesn't leak. Nice carpet. Good sized tv placed for easy viewing. Very good heat pump. The walk into town tok about 15 minutes. Easy walking

Slightly quirky hotel close to the centre of Christchurch. Well appointed, spacious and comfortable room. Parking on-site, although a little tight. Secure access after hours. Need to carry luggage up stairs to the room.
