Great location, however we circled the town for 40 minutes with Sat Nav being wrong. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had and the lovely lady who served us was a delight. Clean comfortable and no complaints about the hotel.

Fantastic location, both in the heart of town and right by the beach. The beaches were both picturesque, clean sandy beach. Accommodation was very clean, owners very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast options were plentiful.

Tolle Lage mit Meerblick! Zimmer mit Kaffee- und Teezubereiter ausgestattet, Prosecco zur Begrüßung! Frühstück gut und typisch englisch!

Behälter für Cornflakes (anstatt Pappkarton) sowie Schale für Marmelade (anstatt klebriges Glas) wären schön gewesen.

Old decor, needs renovating! The smell from the carpets, is something we picked up as soon as we walked in. The smell was the same in the rooms and bedding clearly hadn’t been dried as it smelt of damp. Also the breakfast, wasn’t great! A young family bought their own Nutella as the hotel didn’t have any! No proper coffee or selection of coffees and cooked breakfast wasn’t great either. The hotel/B&B wasn’t cheap, booking.com tells me ‘we’re in luck’ when booking it as it’s never available, so we expected more, or a better!

Perfect location with a lovely spacious room for a family of four. The staff were incredibly helpful and assisted with our requests in a very friendly manner. The breakfast options were great too.

Das Hotel war leider nicht besonders sauber. Wir mussten mehrfach darum bitten, dass unser Zimmer gereinigt wird, und selbst dann wurde nur das gemacht, worauf wir ausdrücklich hingewiesen haben. Zudem kam nicht täglich jemand zur Reinigung. Obwohl wir um frische Handtücher gebeten hatten, wurden diese nicht ausgetauscht, da sie nicht auf dem Boden lagen. Insgesamt waren wir mit der Sauberkeit und dem Service daher nicht zufrieden.

The room is clean and nice, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, and overall I recommend this hotel to others.

I liked everything.

The B&B was fabulous: clean, cosy, welcoming and in a lovely setting. The property was spotless and comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay. The friendly atmosphere and overall feel of the place were lovely.

Our only slight negative was that we found some of the house rules and the way they were communicated a little strict. On arrival, we needed to bring a buggy to our room. As our child is autistic, the buggy is an important safe space, so we explained this and were allowed to bring it up, although it did feel a little uncomfortable having to justify it. Later, after being out at the fete, we brought some drinks back to enjoy in our room and were asked to drink some before coming inside in case of spills. We completely understand wanting to protect the property, but on this occasion we felt a little over-managed, which was slightly awkward as adults in our 40s.

We had a balcony room which had a fantastic sea view. The property was spotlessly clean and the breakfast had varied choices. Margaret and all her staff made sure every guest felt welcome and had everything they needed. I really can’t recommend enough.

There’s nothing we didn’t like.

Room was on the small side. Location was brilliant. Breakfast was ok. We realise that it was peak season, so was more expensive, but the images online implied a more modern hotel.

Die Besitzerin war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, hat uns einen sehr frühen und kostenlosen Check In ermöglicht. Das Hotel liegt direkt gegenüber des Strandes, tolle Lage. Das Frühstück wird frisch zubereitet und ist sehr lecker.

Es ist fast unmöglich, einen Parkplatz auf dem schmalen Bereich vor dem Hotel oder in der Straße zu bekommen. Zum nächsten Langzeitparkplatz sind es 10 Minuten zu Fuß und die Parkgebühr für 24 Stunden sind 12 Pfund. Leider haben die Zimmer keine Klimaanlage, da half nachts auch der Ventilator und das Fenster, was man nur kippen konnte, nicht.

Wonderful view from our bay window onto the coastline and beach. Newquay was a pleasant surprise. The Boathouse, harbour waterfront, offers street food from a collection small enterprises delivered to the table with a pleasant view. Went several times. The owner is very engaged and lives on site. Staff are very committed.

Location, proximity to the beach/restaurants. We were given a lovely sea view room. I was lucky with the parking too, managed to park on the property drive for the stay so no additional parking costs

This place reminded me of the old bed and breakfasts that my parents used to find for us to stay at while driving around. Beautiful guest house. Breakfast included. Was able to walk to the train station. Very close to town. The farmers market right across the street on the Saturday. The staff was great.

This hotel is very clean and has ceiling fans, which are great for the summer. It’s located very close to the beach—less than a 5-minute walk away. Margaret, the owner, is extremely lovely and friendly, and her son is just as friendly and great to talk to. ​Therefore, I highly recommend this hotel

First of all I feel like a home. Very clean room,toilet,bed sheet basically everything. Breakfast was served freshly cooked. The host lady was very attentive towards her guest. She asked her every guest if we all are ok with everything. Overall it was excellent stay at this guest house. I will definitely recommand this guest house to everyone who visit to Newquay.

We were in 2nd floor at guest house and I found little bit difficult to carry a heavy luggage and bags to carry upstairs. We can't find car park in front of hotel thats why we have to park our car little bit futher from the address.

Only minutes walk to all the local shops and eateries. Very well appointed, clean and comfortable room. A delicious full English breakfast included.

The property is clean, comfortable, and situated in a great location. Everything you need—including pubs, restaurants, bus stations, and beaches—is close by. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Breakfast was exceptionally good with a fantastic selection of breakfast products as well as a cooked to order breakfast. Margaret and Owen were the perfect hosts, both friendly and extremely professional .It felt like a home from home.

There was nothing at our accommodation that we didn't like except the fact that we couldn't stay any longer.

The location to Towan beach and the town centre was great, there was great communication when booking and throughout the stay. Staff were brilliant and made our stay really enjoyable.

Everything, the position of the guest house for beach and town centre, the staff and owners were polite, friendly and helpful nothing was to much trouble, and the breakfast was to die for, the beds were comfortable and we had the best night's sleep for ages we will definitely be staying again

The location was very central to everything the beach was just a few steps away the shops and restaurants were all very close. Breakfast was served in a very nice room with an excellent selection of traditional English or Continental selection and very plentiful. Our room was superb with a balcony with comfy chairs and an uninterrupted view of the see (room 9) The prices in the bar were very reasonable and much cheaper than in the town.

Brilliant location, Fantastic Staff so helpful and friendly. Clean and tidy. Shower was incredible. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, lots of options. Definitely be back again.

Really friendly owners and staff. Welcoming and accommodating. A great location close to the beach and the shops. We were lucky to get a great view from our room looking out over Towan Bay. There wasn’t enough parking at the hotel or street outside but public parking was reasonably priced and very close by. And a really good breakfast.

We were only there a couple of nights so have nothing to complain about. We went during the heatwave so if there was air con that would have been the cherry on top.

Fantastic location, staff were incredibly friendly and was a perfect place to stay to explore Newquay as it is right near the city centre.

We liked everything about the property!! The guest house is in an excellent location. Very convenient to the shops, beach, town , bus and train station. All only a very short walk away.

The property is right at the centre of all the things you need to see. It is clean, comfortable and cozy.

The rooms are quite small but everything thing else is great.

Das Zimmer war so liebevoll eingerichtet, der Blick vom Erkerfenster phantastisch, das Bett sehr bequem und die Besitzerin so freundlich. Auch das Frühstück ist super, trotz Buffet wird nochmal für jeden Gast auf Wunsch ein full engl. breakfast frisch zubereitet, oder auch Waffeln zum Frühstück.
