Lack of communication when problems arise. Hot water ran out and rang the number supplied and no response. Texted the same number and still no response. Very disappointed.

Nothing to do with the property but google maps took us to the wrong address at first so make sure you type the address in manually to Google maps and not use the link on booking.com

Reviewed Jun 21, 2026It was an amazing property. We arrived late due to an event and the hosts communicated with us on how to collect the keys. We were missing the bedding for the fold out sofa and I messaged them via Booking.com and within 10 minutes we had the bedding. It was a delight.

We stayed in a two bedroom The rooms did not have room to put your suitcase on the floor however the wardrobe has plenty of room. We were only staying one night so left our suitcase in the living area. No mirrors in the rooms

I also messaged for extra blankets at 1a.m and it was kindly delivered for my son.I was so grateful for this extra kindness.We loved the villa and outdoor setting plus your beautiful black cat who was sunbathing on our front porch.Thank you Aroma House we will definitely be back to stay longer in the future.

There was a strong smell that was coming from somewhere in the kitchen, there’s a little bit of dampness to the place as well.

L’accueil était un peu froid et s’est fait très rapidement. Un peu plus d’explications sur les fonctionnalités de l’hébergement auraient été un plus.

Reviewed Mar 12, 2026The room is clean and comfortable. The scenery is beautiful. The guidance of the staff at check-in is very clear and in place, and it is very convenient to check in. It takes 40 minutes by car from the airport, which is convenient to travel in the Waikato area and Auckland. I'd consider coming here again on my next trip.

Reviewed Mar 6, 2026Its location, very quiet and peaceful, great large walk-in shower with wonderful water pressure and rose, beds were firm but fine.
When we arrived (we noticed the same when others arrived) both hosts ran up to us with an eftpos machine for us to pay, then left without further welcome. They need a proper reception area, rather than an un-maned shed as you drive in. One of the switches in the electric box was off (concerned with safety,) and a number of plugs didn't work. Suggest some regular maintenance checks. It was a unit that could accommodate 6, however there was only cutlery enough for 4. We had 4 members of our family visiting both days, so inconvenient. I let one of the hosts know this was happening. Could do with more bedding, and for both the sheets and light duvet pulled further up the bed when making it.

Reviewed Mar 3, 2026Eine sehr gepflegte Anlage, mit einzelnen kleinen Bungalows mit jeweils eigener Terrasse. Die Vermieter sind sehr gastfreundlich und aufmerksam. Die Ausstattung des Bungalows ist sehr gut.
Vor Ort haben wir festgestellt, dass das Anwesen doch sehr weit außerhalb liegt und man auf das Auto angewiesen ist.

It is really only a place you'd stay in 1 night to break up the journey towards somewhere else. Laundry facilities at an extra cost. The unit we stayed in had very limited cooking facilities.

Reviewed Jan 29, 2026I LOVED everything about this location I felt I was in a resort small and simple. Love the atmosphere of the water fountain they had as you enter. The room was perfect especially since my 17 year old daughter's bday was perfect. My teenage girls had their own bed , the bed was so comfortable I forgot I was on vacation I didn't want to leave the room honestly. The shower I don't know what filter they had if any but I felt I was being moisturized by the water my alone felt so nice and smooth. The kitchen was perfect, I love the patio which we enjoyed sitting out and just feeling the nice breeze while rocking on the chair they had.staff was so nice and sweet and very helpful with my needs during my stay.
Okay I don't know how the mosquito gets in the room but that was my only issue. I wish there was a way to keep them out, especially when you shower you have to kinda have to open the window in order to let the air out the bathroom but mosquitoes will come in one way or another. It wasn't bad but it got us.

Reviewed Jan 25, 2026Lovely quiet rural location. No noise pollution or light pollution. Living rurally myself that is hard to find in accommodation.
It would have been good to have had the bin emptied. We were there for 2 nights and the bin was full on the first morning. It would have been helpful to either have it emptied or be told where I could have emptied it. My parking spot was taken by another unit on the second night we were there. It meant packing the car was a bit long winded as I had to walk across the deck of the chalet next door many many times as we had taken everything out of the car to ensure it was less attractive for a break in while at the Metallica concert.
