Reviewed Jul 14, 2025The location is ideal. The room is beautifully decorated, clean and we like the convenience of the kitchenette. We love the fireplace. Unlike other establishments, the staff is out of sight. The room is the same standard as a year ago, we’ll check in again next year.
The entrance to the adjacent room is next to the bathroom window. Unfortunately we had loud neighbors for one night.

I think the warning messages are a bit too much, on the fridge, in the bathrooms. I wish the messages could be consolidated onto 1 specific location.

Unit 1 was very comfortable, especially for a couple, with everything that is required for a self-catering unit, including a lovely braai area outside overlooking the mountains. The touch of coffee and milk was special. The shower bath was a special touch to add value to the unit and relaxation after a hike. The owner is wonderful in responding to messages via what's app during our stay. We thrilling enjoyed our stay and will be back!
Nothing, really. The place was beautiful. The only thing that will say was that the housekeeper arrived before we were checked out , and the check out time is at 10 am only. Nothing too serious as we just informed her we were still packing and will be out by 10am. :-)

Reviewed Dec 23, 2024The host was responsive before we arrived as we arrived very late, the check in was seamless. When we arrived the place was so neat, clean and cosy. The place felt like we were right at home. The location is walking distance to restaurants and shops in the area and it’s very safe. It’s also close to most tourist attraction areas (castle gate almost 20kms away, Bethlehem about 40km, has a Mall). The views were breathtaking in the area, we also went for a hike which was less than a km from the place. The cleaners were so friendly and professional, always willing to assist in anyway possible. We had a wonderful time thank you!

The cherry on top is the fact that staff allowed us to have our own personal space. I'm convinced they're magicians. You don't see them, but the apartment was always clean and in prestine condition & had fresh towels when we returned. This is our go to place for our home away from home - definitely the best in town. Their customer service is second to none. Always exceeding our expectations. Reviewed Jan 25, 2024The low fences are an open invitation to people from the street to just potentially walk straight up to the house. Living in Wild Africa - I'm used to more protection. I'm not familiar with crime rate in Clarence - but never can be too careful if you care about your loved ones. Opportunists will harm and kill for something as stupid as a cellphone.
