Der Besitzer ist mich am Bhf Fenqihu abholen gekommen, das war sehr hilfreich. Man konnte von dem B&B sehr gut durch die Reisfelder wandern.

早餐可以，但訂四人房只住三人應該還是要給四份早餐呀！不然要扣錢比較合理？

沒有提供正常的毛巾跟浴巾，洗澡有洗頭根本完全擦不乾.... 老闆跟員工都不太熱情。

地點離奮起湖不遠，環境很清幽，附近還有登山步道可以走走 老闆也都很客氣，還有提供早餐(重點是很豐富)，對於在深山裡面住宿來說真的是非常方便！

民素有停車位置，地點蠻安靜的，離步道非常非常近。早餐是老闆娘親自準備的蔥油餅與水果與飲料，早餐大致ok。

四人房的房間有點小，浴室也很小

早餐是吃煎蛋餅+一杯奶茶或咖啡 房間不特別大但是很乾淨 房間外面就有飲水機

床很軟但好像不是獨立筒所以旁邊的人一動就會整個床都受到影響 需要注意的是只有提供一條小毛巾，有需要的人要自備浴巾

The balcony gave good view of the mountain outside. The hostel provided breakfast, which was fairly good.

The location was not accessible by public transport. There were no electric kettle and cup for use in the room. The bath area was not separate from the toilet.

Eine sehr nette Familienunterkunft; eher kleineres Zimmer, aber dafür 2 große Betten und sehr bequem. Nettes Frühstück und wunderbarer Ausblick - wenn der Nebel weg ist ;o))

The location is unbeatable, nestled right among the tea plantations and at the trailhead of the local hiking paths. It is incredibly peaceful and spotlessly clean. There is also convenient on-site parking. The breakfast was delicious, but the highlight was definitely the hosts—they were exceptionally hospitable and went out of their way to make sure I was well taken care of.

The room has a bit of an older feel to it, though that is to be expected for a mountain stay. More importantly, having a car is almost essential. The village shuts down around 7:00 PM (except for the 7-Eleven), so you have to be proactive about finding dinner options.

Room is quite basic but comfortable

It is a very quiet and peaceful place, thanks to the owners and the surrounding. The place is in the middle of the tea fields, with a decent dinner option nextdoor (the center of the village is a longer walk). The room is spacious, it came with a balcony, and the bed is comfortable. I liked the breakfast a lot!

Great spot if you’re traveling by car—the location is super convenient. Breakfast was genuinely very good, and the owners couldn’t have been friendlier, which really adds to the experience. A big highlight is that the Cloud Trail starts right next to the hotel, making it perfect for an easy nature escape.

As for the room, it’s pretty basic and nothing to write home about. The bathroom and beds had a bit of a smell, but for a short two-night stay, it’s manageable—especially if you focus on the positives (and maybe keep a window open). One thing to keep in mind: restaurants in the area tend to close around 7pm, so plan dinner accordingly unless you enjoy an unexpected fasting experience.

老闆夫妻親切，早餐棒，房間大、熱水燙、隔音佳，開車7分鐘到石棹街上用餐，離雲之道、霞之道、櫻之道都很近。老闆夫妻超會種蘭花，各品種爭奇鬥艷，真是太美了。

It was a great stay!

The breakfast was fabulous, the ambiance was cozy and the personnel was really nice. For 200 NTd you can even get a ride up or down to or from Shizhuo's bus station. And the view was fabulous!

What could be better is the bathroom but there's everything you might need

It's located in Shizuo, which is not in the Alishan national park itself, but proved to be a great location for us. It's located on a beautiful tea farm with so many trails nearby that we really enjoyed. The breakfast was good and homemade and the room had a heater because it did get a bit chilly while we were there. Overall, we were very pleased with the room. It's a homestay so don't expect a hotel-like experience, and the owners only speak Mandarin and Hokkien, and very limited English, so unless you're traveling with a Chinese-speaker, expect to have to use Google translate or flex your Mandarin skills. The bus stop in Shizuo which takes you up to Alishan is about a 30 minute walk downhill from the property, but going up is probably about 40 minutes and there are some steep areas, but we were perfectly fine with that and enjoyed the misty walks.

You have to get your own dinner, either from the cafe next door (which is overpriced and we didn't really like the food there but the Belgian waffle was nice) or from Shizuo as the homestay doesn't provide food. We were fine with that as one night we just bought cup noodles from the 7/11 in Shizuo and at it at the homestay. There are other restaurants in the area that you'll have to hike to, but Google isn't reliable on opening times.

Difficult to get to and shower head stand was not working.

The view was amazing from the balcony, placed close to hiking routes, the setting was relaxed, the room was clean, the breakfast was great (scallion omelet, apples, tomato, sweet potatoes, great tea) and the personnel was very friendly. The owner picked me up and set me off for 200 NTD each way to the bus stop. I was here in August, and there were no need for air conditioning. There was a machine in the room that cleared the humidity which was great.

It is further away from restaurants but there is a shared kitchen where I made cup noodles one evening, and there is a restaurant nearby. The room is not well isolated, so you might hear your neighbor close the door, but the property is very quiet.

Veeery cosy bed and a wonderful view from the balcony. For 200NTD each way the owner picked me up at Fenqihu and brought me back after check out which was very convenient as I had too much luggage to walk to the hotel. Communication via this website was fast and easy. Breakfast was included and delicious and the hotel could cater for my vegetarian diet.

We enjoyed the location a lot, as well as the breakfast and the tea offered by the host. He was very helpful, especially with transportation from Fenqihu and to the bus station in Shizhuo (NT$200 each way). The view from the balcony was amazing and there are plenty of trails around the tea farms. The location is remote and peaceful and getting to Alishan National Park takes about 40 minutes by bus (from Shizhuo center).

We had some problems with the very hot/very cold water in the shower but it was okay for two nights. To get to the B&B you always have to walk uphill (if you don't have your own car). Or ask to be picked up for the fee mentioned above.

Cuiti was very clean and comfortable. The location is about 45-minutes walk from town but we enjoyed the quiet and thought the location was lovely. The sunsets over the tea fields were beautiful. The B&B offers breakfast, which we found very filling. For dinner we ate next door for one night and cooked in the shared kitchen the next night.

The only challenge was that I arrived on foot having taken public transportation. This location is best accessed with a car. Pick up service to and from the bus stop would have made it perfect.

Lovely location, near the nicest hiking trails of the area. Shizhuo village is downhill, but the walk up is not difficult. The owners are welcoming and kind. They helped us with everything we needed despite the language barrier, including driving us and picking us up when going to visit other places. Highly recommend this B&B for anyone looking for a calm holiday in the mountains!

We had a comfortable and relaxing stay. The hosts were fantastically welcoming, hospitable and very helpful. They looked after us wonderfully. The breakfasts were simple but delicious and filling. The owner's home grown tea was sensational. If you are self driving I could not think of a better place to stay in the region. There are a number of excellent walks, hikes and photo opportunities quite close by.

Very nice hosts ( did not speak English but understood my basic Mandarin) and great breakfast and tea. Easy to find and parked our rental car right there.

Rooms a little stark, but common in many Taiwanese Minsus and I was there in a particularly cool spell in December- the "cold " feeling room likely a blessing during summers

Lovely to meet the owners, they are very hospitable and nice. The room was so clean, and the breakfast was delicious.

It’s a lot more comfortable than you would expect from the pics. Lots of the slightly more negative feedback from the past reviews appear to have been rectified - which suggests a host who cares about their guests comfort. Eg small towels - have been replaced with more standard sized towels. There were mattress heaters in our 2 rooms which was fine for us in winter. There’s a small restaurant in the immediate adjacent neighbours compound - so food is available. Plus, the host graciously offers to take you to town and back for food if needed (NTD 100 one way). His vehicle can accommodate 5 passengers. Bonus about their place is its at the higher end of the mountain - cloud trail starts literally around the corner. It’s a few hundred meters of walking up trail at the start - but after that, it’s all downhill linking all the different trails all the way to town. Real plus compared to starting in town and going UPHILL all the way. Morning brekkie was delicious - hot scallion pancakes, fresh fruit and cherry tomatoes and tea on a crisp winter morning. Bliss.

We booked this hotel to be able to see the sunrise at Alishan, the hosts were welcoming and gave us advice for our journey. Room is very comfortable with a big and comfortable bed and great amenities It is quite high up in the mountains, count about 45min to go to Alishan National Forest

The lack of heater was a bit hard, especially during winter

The beds for the 4-person room were big. There were basically 5 of us and we could easily fit in the room we booked. Breakfast was good especially the coffee and tea that the boss especially made. Location was great too. Very close to the cloud trail. If you need a pick up service, the boss does that too! You just have to pay a fee but compared to getting a taxi, it’s way cheaper! We enjoyed our stay here.

Very nice couple, who runs the bed and breakfast. They were very welcoming und helpful! I really liked that it was a bit away from the main tourist places, but close to the great trails. most were right around the corner. It's a wonderful place to stay, the bed was the most comfortable on my trip yet, the breakfast was very good, the owners are tea farmers, so the tea was great in the morning. And and the restaurant right next door was great too.

When showing, the bathroom got wet all over. Maybe I just didn't figure out the right way to shower though, but it wasn't the most comfortable shower.

My second stay here - after one year. This time for two days, so I have more time for exploration. Location is a little distant from Shizhuo village, but for me it is an advantage. It is a quiet place and great base for hiking - hills and tea gardens. Host was very nice, also recommended some places to see. Homemade breakfast was very good (and big). For dinner is necessary to go down to the village - there is a lot of options (closing time is a little bit earlier). Going by car is much more comfortable if you have more luggage. By foot from bus station/restaurants about 30 minutes (up to hill).

Owners are super kind, offered delicious breakfast and fresh tea, room is spacious and clean with everything you need.

While it was so nice to be away from the noise of the city, it is a little remote if you don’t have a car… Thankfully the hosts will pick you up, though for a fee.

Remote location which was great for how peaceful it was but a little harder to get around but the view on the small tea plantation was worth it. The breakfast was excellent and the host was very accommodating and tried his best to communicate with us even though he spoke little English and we do not know any Mandarin. The place was clean.

Vegetarian breakfast was amazing!

Relaxing and quiet, very clean and super comfy bed. Hosts were amazing friendly even though they speak no English. Great breakfast. I was able to sit on the balcony with my bento box and beer enjoying the sunset. Perfect place to relax. Leave the balcony door open at night and listen to the wildlife in the adjacent bamboo forest. It’s away from town but I had my own car so not an issue. Close to the start of the Cloud trail hike as well. The towel issue also seems to have been resolved as I was given a normal sized bath towel.

I would have loved a bedside reading light so that I could read without the bright overhead lights on.
