The property had good air con and relatively quiet rooms. I also liked the little curtain on each of the hostel beds and the staff were super helpful when it came to asking about food stores, attractions and reading some of the free books available.

For the price I was more than happy. I recommend if the property chooses to increase its prices at some point advertising explain laundry and reinvested in making the showers nicer would be grand (the water temp and pressure where decent)

Reserved, unfriendly and flat faced staff who have attitude problem. The fan was switched off while the guest is still sitting at reception to cool off. No water, toilet tissues in toilet, CCTV camera even in bathroom, toilet area, mobile charging point hiding behind the bed panel, no lift to carry your luggage to 2nd floor. Wont recommend anyone.

Staff exceptional, friendly, helpful but still knowing boundaries. The room was luminous and big enough to feel at ease. The place is very convenient. Close to lovely quarter but not in the middle of the noise and close to a market and even a landmark.

The location is perfect, it’s walkable to Pinjiang road and some Suzhou gardens. The owner Claire is very helpful, she makes really good Kombucha. Room was clean.

It is a hostel not a hotel, so it’s a different kind of experience, but for a hostel it is super comfortable.

Staff were so lovely and had excellent English. Facilities were what could be expected for a guest house, perfectly suitable for our purposes and the price can’t be beat for the location. We enjoyed our stay.

La finestra della nostra camera famigliare tripla dava direttamente sulla strada principale molto trafficata e quindi la camera era rumorosa, altre camere lo erano meno perchè davano su lati diversi. Non erano comprese nei servizi le bottigliette d'acqua gratuite

At this property I managed to do 8 hour days on my computer in the lobby. I had fast access to water in the fridge, and the host makes a nice coffee. The host was there most of the time when I needed her support with some logistics, and her English is really good. The room and restroom area are what I expected for the price I paid. Additionally the people there were all nice, and I got to play some of the board games in the lobby.

There were a few insects in the room, but that’s super minor because they weren’t harmful. Also, towels weren’t already provided, so you had to pay a few rmb to rent one. But other than that it was a great experience and I would do it again any day after I graduate.

場所は分かりやすく、いわゆる典型的ユースホステルタイプ。価格もリーズナブルで、スタッフも親切でした。

トイレの匂いがきつかった。どこから（別部屋から）ともなく漂ってくる異臭。ふた付きのペールとかにするか、キチンと換気するかして欲しい。

完全不像一间正常有基本服务意识的酒店！

脏透了，连住七天，整整七天都没人主动来打扫整理过房间，借口是清洁工休假了，连垃圾都要自己放在房门外！关键是要求房客大解后厕纸丢进纸箩而不是马桶用水直接冲掉，开啥玩笑！

1 Wc était hors service à mon arrivée, 7 jours aprés , le WC n'a pas été réparé . Donc, 1 seul WC disponible pour tout l'étage et sans doute meme pour tout l hotel.

Nahe zu Pingjiang Road. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen.

Die Unterkunft war leider nicht ganz wie erwartet. Im Zimmer roch es muffig, besonders wenn die Fenster geschlossen waren. Die Toilette war schon am ersten Tag verstopft. Im Bad fehlte ein Duschvorhang, wodurch beim Duschen alles nass wurde, und einige Silikonfugen waren verschimmelt. Außerdem war es sehr laut, obwohl die Fenster geschlossen waren – es klang, als wären sie offen. Durch die Jalousien ließ sich das Zimmer zudem nicht richtig abdunkeln. Platz hat man nicht wirklich, und ein Spiegel im Schlafzimmer wäre noch gut.

Close to the center of city and metro.

They said children under 12 is free to stay, so I was with 10 year old kid. They refused me to stay when I arrived there. They should have told me in advance if they do not allow me with my child even if it is a dorm room from the beginning. (-it is not stated at all) I had to search again and to move to another hotel. It was a waste of time.

Had a great stay here. The women who run the place are exceedingly kind and helpful. It's in a great location and is an excellent value for money.

トイレのドアがちゃんと閉まらないので使いにくい。洗濯は安く利用できるがwechatpayなど使えないといけない（現金不可）ので旅行者は準備が必要。

1. Receptionist was always somewhere. Had to wait for some time for check in bc there was no way to get in touch with the staff 2. Bathroom didn't have toilet paper?... 3. Not so big of a deal but seeing huge spider on my bed at night was quite something

If you want to see the actual Suzhou and want to feel like home then without any second thought go for the booking.

The hostel is really well located in Suzhou, basically 1km of walk from the old Pingjiang streets and rivers, it's also very close to a subway station. The landlady was friendly and spoke good English, her dog is funny and greeted us well.

The room however is small and not really clean, we paid for a room with private bathroom and the bathroom with toilet is right inside of the room, separated by a sliding doors which were very hard to open from both sides. The beds were stiff but clean overall and the AC worked fine. The walls were very thin and we heard every noise from the corridor, and people keep slamming doors very hard. All equipments in the room seemed overused and not clean, of course we know it's a hostel but still we paid a higher price than other 4-star hotels we stayed in so we don't feel that it was a fair value for money.

Convenient located in the heart of old city this is a well operated hostel, Claire is very helpful and speaks fluent English. I’m very glad I chose to stay here while in Suzhou.

Other clients are a bit noisy

It is in a very good position to visit the famous gardens of Souzho. The lady at the reception can speak good english and is very helpful.

I like everything about this hostel, and felt very welcome by Claire (Zhangxuan). She was the nicest and most helpful person I came across in my travels in China. We had great conversations, very enriching for my Chinese experience. I booked a single room which was clean and comfortable, great bed, I slept very well. The location is also easy to find and perfect to explore Suzhou. I had great breakfast there too. I would definitely come back and recommend it. Also love the sweet dog, Kali.

It's a very accessible location, near the train station, and a walkable distance to Pingjiang St. - it's also near to local food shops. Rooms are on the third floor, quite near to toilets and showers. They provide slippers, hangers etc. There's a friendly dog waiting for you in the lobby ; she's an excellent staff, helping show us to our room! (Beware for those averse to dogs however.)

Though they provide hangers, there aren't many places to hang from in the room itself.

The toilets are not very clean, and there are no personal hygiene items (like toilet paper).

Stairs to get to the 2nd floor with heavy luggage. Bathroom was in open air. During winter, it is really cold when you get out of the shower so not great. Thin bed so not so comfortable.

Lack of people but it was fine as I was out all day.

The lovation is perfect. The owner’s dog is wonderful. I felt very comfortable there.

The female dorm was a little chilly (in the coldest minggu of winter) but I chose the bunk by the AC Unit and I was very warm.

Everything was perfect as usual. Claire is the kindest person in Suzhou. I highly recommend her hostel. The breakfast is good, and the rooms are comfy.

Maybe good for non-Chinese speakers as the stuff can speak English pretty well. The same price can find a better hotel next door in the local area.

The location is convenient, very close to the subway station

The staff was very good in English and gave me a lot of good recommendation for food and sightseeing nearby there. It's near to bus stop, metro station and Shungta Market that has many kinds of food.

No curtain for the bed for shared bedrooms which is really bothering when people go in and out early in the morning or really late at night. The shower is not really clean.

Everything was exceptional! From the customer service at the time of booking to the stay itself. From the very beginning, Claire helped me with information on how to get to the place, even coming from another city. She was always available from the moment of reservation until the end of the stay. The place is amazing and very well-equipped! Quiet, charming, safe, and located in a beautiful area, perfect for exploring both day and night. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Only one light in the whole room, it would be great if each bunk bed would have its own little lamp. No curtains on the bed for privacy.

Very loud at Night because window is right next to the main Road with all the big trucks. Maybe at least buy a double sealed window to make The room a bit more quite. This windo is so thin and didnt even really close 😃🙌

Value for money, good location. Close to the metro, but it was hidden inside a mall.

The afternoon sun beat in the window making the room very hot. A fuse problem stopped the aircon working for a few hours. Next day was better. The toilet was so close to the wall that I had to sit sideways.
