Hotel location was excellent. The room's size was ok. The lobby was beautiful.

No pedestrian acces direct to the hotel lobby. We had to passed the other lobby located at GF, which was not comfortable n it was opened only after 10AM. If we had to go out before 10am, so we had to walk in the driveway, which was not safe. Hopefully, the hotel will provide pedestrian access soon. The bed was too soft, so not to comfy. Also, the towels provided were not new n too thin. The hotel should provide better towels.. Thanks.

This was my first time exploring Bengkulu, and I picked this hotel mainly because of its super strategic location—surrounded by plenty of places to eat and close to various tourist spots. Historical landmarks like Rumah Pengasingan Bung Karno, Rumah Ibu Fatmawati, Gereja Santo Yohanes Penginjil, and Benteng Marlborough are all just a short distance away. The room was cozy and nicely cooled, the bathroom was clean, and the amenities were complete. I also loved that they provide a water dispenser for easy refills—such a nice touch. Facilities-wise, it has everything you need: a swimming pool, a gym (with classes available), and even a playground. The breakfast spread was pretty solid and filling. I also tried pempek for the first time here, and it was sooo good! Also, if you arrive before check-in or have some time to kill after check-out, no worries—there’s a working space at Andune Lounge on the first floor. For just an additional Rp50k, you’ll get bread and a drink. Would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Bengkulu. Thank you for the warm hospitality!

The staff need supervising.They are pretty clueless.5 people working the coffee machine ,25 mins later still no coffee...room door left open for 3 hours by negligent staff.But some of them did have some initiative and did try to be helpful.

The safe was not operational, and there was no hot water in the shower area.

I enjoy the ambient of hotel and hospitality. Visit with family really recommended. For the business purposes also good.

Breakfast is good, but sometimes there were no glasses. Food needs to be replenished quickly. Location is good.

No toothbrush on my first day and second morning. It only came later on 2nd day. There is no menu for room service. No guide to TV channels, or at least I did not find anywhere. The first day when I was assigned room 728, was surprised I was given a room with decorations of leaves and flowers and a designed towel on the bed, with two cakes/donuts, and on the plate it says HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAURA; That was not me so immediately I called the reception, and requested for a change, and was assisted to room 921. Things like this should be checked and not cause inconveniences to guests.

Easy location, not too far from attractions, nice view from room, n gym was pretty good.

Long time for hot water in the shower, staff not communicated (we asked for laundry price, reception said gonna send one housekeeping to give us but they never came till we check out. And then we booked appointment for couple massage around 10:30 but the reception in spa said they free at 11. and 5mins before 11 we came to spa, and the other person was already standing infront of reception and they took the guy first. And told us that they don‘t have 2 therapist for our couple massage which is we did make reservation before hand. And then they offers at 1pm but we can‘t. And we told the reception to make us another appointment at 9pm and she said yes. And around 5mins before 9pm we called the reception spa from our room, and she just said again that they don‘t have therapist for our couple massage and she told us gonna call us if the therapist come. But they never called us until we check out.

I stay in room 609 just right up to the night club of the hotel it was so noisy , I asked receptionist they said the will check it the source of the noise , and the after hours I realized it’s the night club and clubbing place. It was so noisy , I begging at 3.am to change the room because I had long 25hr flight from Europe and seriously need a sleep.

The noise , the hotel seriously need improvement for cancelling noise or soundproofing.

Room not soundproof hearing neighbours and outside, AC wasnt worked ( remote playing up )called the reception to send technician but never came so need to figure out how to fix it our self

I was told that the hotel is relatively new and the staff at the reception and restaurant was very helpful and friendly. I didn't expect the nice lobby and nice restaurant at first so it was a nice surprise. The food was delicious.

The room was okay but the couch and toilet were not well maintained and a bit run down considering the hotel has not been around for too many years. The couch in particular has several stains.

My stay at Mercure Bengkulu was truly memorable, thanks to an exceptional moment provided by Dwi Kumala, a member of the reception team. She enthusiastically shared insights about Bengkulu's abundant durian season and its affordability, even offering to bring some for me to sample. During breakfast, Dwi Kumala surprised me which I initially mistook for a sampling lunch box. To my delight, it turned out to be a around 5 kg tightly packaged of peeled durian as a gift from Bengkulu. What stood out the most was Dwi Kumala's pride in showcasing Bengkulu's renowned produce and her sincere hospitality, treating guests like cherished family members. It's clear that Mercure Bengkulu selects staff who embody passion and dedication, fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere that guests can truly appreciate. Hats off to Mercure Bengkulu for providing such an extraordinary experience.

All the staff were friendly and professional and straight away I was given an upgrade to a sea view room which was fantastic. The hotel itself is stunning and the room I was in was huge. The facilites were all pretty good. The pool could be bigger but its more than sufficient. The cleaning staff did a great job and the location is perfect to explore Bengkulu. This hotel helped make my stay really enjoyable and is a great addition to the town. I can't wait to hopefully return in April.

There wasnt much wrong with the hotel at all. It had a lot of corporate events on but this did not impact my stay other than parking at times was slightly awkward. I feel the top floor should be reserved for hotel guests.

We were waiting for more than 1 hr for check in because the room wasn’t ready. I need to call the receptionist to follow up when the room is ready. One of the room doesn’t have toothbrushes set and also no soap provided. The floor not clean.

Staycation with family for the first time in Mercure Bengkulu. Check in process was handle by Ms Putri. She is very nice. We booked deluxe room and got beautiful view. Kids was very happy. There is swimming pool and kidsplayground. The food at the restaurant is delicious. Very recommended. Good job Mercure

Already planned with my family to celebrate new year there, the service was amazing, the food needs to be upgrade in terms of quality and taste though. And also, the swimming pool is the one that really needs to be clean. The water was poor and alot of blackish thing floating around
