Bizcochos caseros muy ricos. Partes comunes soleadas y muy agradables de estar. Ubicación próxima al centro, a un corto y agradable paseo por las calles bonitas de Ponta Delgada. Posibilidades de aparcar cerca del alojamiento. Como sugerencia: ampliar la carta de productos salados que se ofrecen en el desayuno y aumentar la frecuencia de recambio (gratuito) de toallas de baño, dado que, por la humedad del ambiente, el nivel de secado de las mismas entre usos es lento e incompleto.

The location is immediately west of the city centre, which is easy to reach on foot. There is quite some car traffic on the road but once we closed the window the room was very quiet. We can warmly recommend.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026L’emplacement est top à 2 pas du centre ville avec proximité des commerces et restaurants mais dans une rue moins passante avec stationnement gratuit aux alentours. On peut partir de là facilement pour visiter toute l’île. Tout fonctionne avec un code, c’est pratique.
Au premier étage on entend le bruit des chambres au-dessus (familles avec enfants qui courent) le matin et le soir. Le changement des serviettes pour un séjour de plus de 5 nuits devrait être fait au milieu du séjour.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Habitación amplia con 2 baños, cama de matrimonio y literas, con aire acondicionado, el desayuno muy rico y las zonas comunes muy correctas, vienen fenomenal para guardar tu comida y llevar bocadillos para el día y alguna cena, coincidimos en la fiesta de blanco de la ciudad y una pasada, es una excelente base para recorrer la isla, al ser pequeño muy cómodo y tranquilo, te ofrecen paraguas y toallas, muy bien esos detalles. A 5 min del centro

Guter Service und Ana und Goncales sind super freundlich und geben gute Tipps für Ausflüge, die auf das Wetter abgestimmt sind. Und auch für alle anderen Inseln haben sie gute Tipps und Informationen. Wenn ich wiederkomme, buche ich auf jeden Fall wieder in dem Hostel!

Das Hostel ist relativ neu saniert und sehr geschmackvoll und praktisch eingerichtet. Alles war picco bello sauber. Gonçalo, Ana und ihre junge Kollegin sind super nett und hilfsbereit und haben uns auch mit vielen tollen Tipps versorgt. Das Frühstück war prima und die Lage für alle unsere Unternehmungen sehr praktisch.

Reviewed May 28, 2026El alojamiento esta muy bien situado. Cerca del centro y con buena disponibilidad de aparcamiento. Clara y Luisa fueron muy amables en todo momento. Nos ayudaron en todo lo que pudieron y fueron muy serviciales, ya que cualquier cosa que necesitamos ellas estaban siempre dispuestas a ayudar. El bizcocho del desayuno esta increíble, lo hacen ellas cada mañana, simplemente espectacular. La habitación estaba limpia. Calidad-precio excepcional.

Reviewed May 25, 2026Este alojamiento a 7 u 8 minutos caminando del centro, es perfecto para una escapada a Ponta Delgada de dos o tres días. En este Hostel, reservé habitación familiar con baño privado. La habitación amplia, todo muy limpio. El desayuno muy bueno. No tiene garaje pero en Mayo, se podía aparcar en la calle mas o menos bien. He de recalcar el excelente trato del dueño del Hostel, nos cancelaron el vuelo de regreso y tuvimos que volver hacer noche en Ponta Delgada, les llamamos enseguida con el problema, y nos buscaron habitación. Muy atento y amable.

La literie est très confortable et vraiment agréable quand les journées sont longues ! Les espaces communs sont agréables, les équipements sont suffisants ! Está no centro de Ponta Delgada com acesso fácil a tudo e há facilmente lugar para estacionamento. Ficarei sem dúvida novamente se voltar a Ponta Delgada.

Ajudaram-nos bastante, dando-nos conselhos e informações importantes para visitar a ilha. O estabelecimento é muito limpo e os pequenos-almoços são muito bons. É um local que recomendo e os proprietários são extremamente agradáveis.

Laundry service was included but “too busy” to use apparently. Disappointing considering we were counting on this feature.

Simpatia dos funcionários, o Sr. Gonçalo, foi um excelente anfitrião e foi muito prestável e atenciosos em todos os momentos da nossa estadia! O ambiente do hostel é muito silencioso e é perfeito para descansar. Proporciona também bom ambiente para trabalhar (em caso de trabalho remoto/teletrabalho) pois a internet era de boa qualidade.

Reviewed Oct 30, 2025We loved everything, from the decoration, to the customer service. Our room was light and spacious and the staff was lovely. Gonçalo was super helpful giving us tips on how to get the best of our stay there and how to understand the weather forecast. They also went the extra mile and organised a surpise birthday treat for my partner. The Holy Cow is very well located at just walking distance from the city center. We would definitely repeat if we ever come back to Açores 😊

Reviewed Oct 30, 2025Todo el personal era encantador y muy servicial, te ayudan y te aconsejan en todo. El desayuno es completo y puedes cocinar algo extra si lo necesitas (huevos en nuestro caso). La habitación y el baño tienen un tamaño adecuado para 2 personas. Dispones de toallas gratis para llevarte a los baños termales. Hay parking gratuito a 500m.
El tamaño de la cama es un poco pequeña si sois 2 personas altas. Las almohadas son un poco finas y bajas.

Reviewed Oct 20, 2025El establecimiento es muy acogedor. El propietario es muy atento y nos orientó sobre las cosas a visitar en la isla. Desayuno bueno. La ubicación es muy buena, en pocos minutos vas caminando a todo el centro de la ciudad. Muy próximo hay un restaurante donde se come muy bien. Encontramos aparcamiento con facilidad muy cerca todos los días. Repetiría este alojamiento

Reviewed Oct 13, 2025Zimmer war in Ordnung für 3 Nächte. Man konnte zu Fuß in die Stadt laufen, und es gab Restaurants in der Nähe. Parkplätze in unmittelbarer Umgebung.
Frühstück könnte ein bisschen abwechslungsreicher sein, jeden Morgen exakt dasselbe. Langweilig.

We didn’t like that they only change the towels for stays longer then 5 days. The air is very humid there and they didn’t dry properly so after two-three days they are really not clean.

Reviewed Oct 2, 2025La limpieza, los desayunos, la amabilidad del personal, incluso tuve un error al hacer la reserva, me di cuenta en el aeropuerto (cuando en principio ya era tarde para cambios o cancelaciones) y al hablar con ellos, vieron que tenían disponibilidad y me cambiaron los días de la reserva 🙏🏻💯💯.
