We spent 4 nights at the guesthouse and we really felt as at home. Leonardo and the staff were very welcoming and helpful whenever we did anything. We stayed in the family room/flat which is big enough for 4, with confortable and big beds. Daily cleaning, very good breakfast served in the patio and small kitchen in the flat to prepare easy meals. The guesthouse is very close to the center of Ponta Delgada, easily reachable by foot. Free of cost parking in the street and in the nearby ones, though not always easy to find a place at first.

Being very closed to the airport, the noise can be pretty loud when flights are passing. Ear plugs are provided.

Les hotes sont adorables, aux petits soins et nous ont aidé a reserver un taxi et fait des petits dejeuner a emporter pour que nous puissions en profiter malgres notre départ très tot.

L'hotel est assez pres de l'aeroport, on entend les avions mais ca fait partie de ponta delgada !

Très belle guest house, décorée avec goût. Les hôtes sont attentionnés et de très bons conseils. Ils nous ont proposé un petit déjeuner à emporter lorsque nous devions partir tôt le matin pour prendre notre avion. La chambre et la salle de bain sont très propres. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour.

Nous entendions les avions assez fréquemment.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden! Unser Gastgeber war unglaublich nett und hat sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert. Er hat uns viele tolle Tipps gegeben und uns auch bei der Autovermietung geholfen. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und es gab reichlich Auswahl. Wir hatten sogar tägliche Reinigung :-) Die Lage ist gut. Aber der Flughafen ist in der Nähe, deshalb kann es manchmal etwas laut sein. Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub! :-)

I loved the owners and the staff was incredible. Such a homey feeling. Each room has its own air con. They go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable.

Très bon accueil, hôtes très attentionnés. Ils ne parlaient pas vraiment français, mais faisaient tout leur possible pour échanger avec nous. Mention spéciale pour le petit-déjeuner préparé à emporter sur demande la veille, parfait pour partir tôt en randonnée ! Un accueil des touristes vraiment chaleureux et bienveillant. Nous recommandons vivement 😊

Aprop centre historic i d'on surten les lanxes balenes (20min caminant). Es pot aparcar al mateix carrer si trobes lloc gratuitament, l'esmorar, pots triar entre ous remenats o fruita+iogurt+cereals i et donen pa amb pwrnil dolç i formatge, trosset pastís casolà.

El personal es muy agradable. La habitación es bonita. Está a unos 15 minutos del centro andando, se puede aparcar en zona azul a unos 5 minutos dando algunas vueltas. A pesar de los aviones, ofrecen tapones y por los horarios de los vuelos no es molesto por la noche (no suelen pasar de 23 a 7 h).

Muchas cucarachas en el patio y alguna en el baño de la habitación. Mucha, mucha, mucha humedad en la habitación que se pegaba a toda la ropa. El desayuno poco variado de un día a otro. Las almohadas un poco incómodas.

As I came late at night, the instructions given by the property were really useful. My room was pleasant but had no bathroom.

The use of a common bathroom on a floor below was not convenient althoigh i knew it.

The owners are very nice, welcoming and helpful. The room was cozy and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The location is very convenient, it is about a 10/15-minute walk from most restaurants. The street the guesthouse is on is quite busy, but we did find parking pretty close each night.

Be aware that the airport is very close and there are planes every few minutes flying at a low altitude directly over the property... it is VERY loud. Thankfully, there were no flights during the night, I think the latest we heard was around 8pm. Honestly, we wished we had been made aware of this before we booked.

A little surprised that we didn't have a change of towels during our 3 night stay but otherwise everything was excellent.

Hospitality and kindness of owners were really outstanding. They helped us with everything with a smile. They gave us list a of places to visit, good restaurants. They even have 5% discount for Futurismo experiences. The apartment is at a very good location.

If you are a big eater do not go there. At breakfast you can choose from 2 things: scrambled eggs or cca 4 spoons of sliced fruits with cca 1 big spoon of corn flakes, few pieces of nuts, with a yoghurt. You get 1 slice of ham and 1 slice of cheese,tiny piece of butter with a half crescent roll. And also a small slice of sweet cake with chocolate or vanilla, pineapple flavour. I chose every morning fruit with yoghurt, my husband ate all other food, even my part as for him it was not enough. He chose every morning eggs, the first three days he ate scrambled eggs, they were tastless and very dry, after 3 days I asked for a fried eggs instead as it was soo boring for him eating everyday the same. He missed so much vegetables, I was so surprised that you could not find any piece of tomato, cucumber or bell pepper etc. You can make tea for yourself or a coffee (unfornutaly on the whole island I have not seen any plant based milk) and an orange juice with a very low quality. So if for you a piece of cake with coffee is an ideal brekfast you will love this place.

O alojamento está situado demasiado perto do aeroporto e ouvem-se os aviões já em voo muito baixo. No entanto não interferem com a qualidade do sono pois durante algumas horas durante a noite não são feitos voos.

A great spot to stay when exploring Ponta Delgada. We could walk to almost all the attractions we wanted to see in the city. Close to many bus stops if you want to use public transportation. The room for 3 was spacious and clean. Breakfast was great and the hosts were helpful; they even arranged our morning airport taxi. Would definitely stay again.

Der Frühstück war sehr lecker. Die Decoration war am Bestem. Für Familen eignet es sich sehr, sehr gut fand ich. Der Spatio so super. Ein wirklich niedlicher Ort.

Man hat die Flugzeuge sehr viel gehört. Es war ziemlich klein aber dass machte das Ganze süß.

The attention and kindness of Leonardo and Nivalda were excellent. They help us to organize our visits with their suggestions. They provided anything we needed, like another pillow for the bed, the tickets for the dolphins sightseeing, and the picnic for the breakfast of the last day. The handmade breakfast is wonderful.

Our room had a bit of humidity, fortunately they have an equipment to take it out

The hosts were so friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious and the room and bed were comfortable. It was also a great location for walking around the historic centre of the city.

Personal sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit, Das Frühstück wurde liebevoll und abwechslungsreich angerichtet. Das freundliche Zimmer war mit praktischem kleinen Balkon ausgestattet. Die Innenstadt ist zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen.

Die Treppe zum Zimmer war steil und eng. Der Fluglärm vom nahen Flughäfen war manchmal störend, aber nicht allzu gravierend.

Zarezerwowałam noc w tym obiekcie, ponieważ nasz lot został odwołany i szukaliśmy noclegu na ten sam dzień. Nocleg został opłacony. Po kilku minutach zadzwoniła do mnie Pani z obsługi obiektu i powiedziała, że nie mają dla mnie wolnego pokoju, a rezerwacja została mylnie zatwierdzona z winy Booking.com. Zadzwoniłam do Bookingu i przedstawiłam im tę sytuację, skontaktowali się z tym obiektem i poinformowali mnie, że obiekt ma mi znaleźć inny nocleg w ciągu 45 minut. Przez godzinę nie dostałam żadnej odpowiedzi od obiektu. W ostateczności przez kilka godzin byliśmy "bezdomni" i dopiero wieczorem udało się nam znaleźć pokój na tę noc. Nie do końca wierzę w tę historię o błędzie na Bookingu, bo czy w takim razie Booking wydałby decyzję o tym, że ten obiekt ma nam szukać noclegu?

The welcome by the owner was exceptional, she was very helpful, keen to assist with getting us to our room, knowledgeable about local affairs and spoke great English. She gave us a superb breakfast and allowed us to keep our bags safe until we were ready to collect them later in the day.

As others have mentioned, the airport flight path is close but ear plugs are provided but the flights stop quite early and don't start till a reasonable hour in the morning so a good night's sleep was had.

Wystrój, który sprawiał niezwykle przytulne wrażenie oraz lokalizacja, tzn. położenie blisko historycznej części miasta. Bardzo przyjemna była też właścicielka oraz managerki w obiekcie, a także bardzo sprawną i szybką komunikacja z nimi.

Ta sama lokalizacja, która sprawiała, że odgłosy ulicy i pobliskiego lotniska dochodziły bardzo wyraźnie do sypialni.

Très bon petit déjeuner avec des nouveautés faites maison chaque jour. L'emplacement est bon aussi, assez proche du centre ville à pied. Le personnel est accueillant, serviable et prodigue pas mal de conseils sur la ville et l'ile. Enfin la mise à disposition d'un petit extérieur est appréciable.

La taille de la chambre pour 3 personnes et de la salle de douche était un peu juste. Il y a aussi le bruit des avions qui surprend au début mais on finit par s'y habituer.

Good location 5-10 min walking to the centre area, clean and spacious, plenty of towels and shampoo/bodywash, the bed and blankets were GREAT!! Loved the little balcony, plenty of clothing hangers, hairdryer, kettle. Just perfect! Would really book this again

This is a cute hotel with very kind staff. He helped arrange a very early taxi and also packed a breakfast that I could take with me. The location also gets you into the capital and walking distance to several of the restaurants. It's also located near the airport if you have an early flight.

If you have noise issues, this is a hotel think carefully about. There is noise from flights landing and taking off from the airport, including flights after midnight. My issue is more the street noise. My room in the front overlooks the street, and you can hear the street traffic. The street is fairly busy. Other rooms might not have this issue. I did state in the requests that I was looking for a quiet room, and would have preferred that the hotel discuss that the room has traffic noise rather than book the room. For some people traffic noise is an issue.

Das liebevoll gestaltete Haus war uns eine kleine Oase. Das Frühstück wird selbstgemacht sogar mit selbstgebackenen Brot. Leo und Nivalda und das restliche Team waren sehr zuvorkommend herzlichen und hilfsbereit. Besonders cool sind die QR Codes fur eine Google Maps Karte markiert mit deren Highlights auf der Insel. Ein kleines Juwel in Ponta Delgada. Jeder weltoffene Mensch wird sich hier heimisch fühlen.

Wenn man sich das Bad teilen muss, sollte man sich darauf einstellen, dass man evtl. nicht sofort auf die Toilette kann. Aber wir wussten das im Vorfeld und es war auch kein Problem.

Sehr zentrale Lage. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Wir hatten früh einen Flug und am Abend vorher wurde uns schon ein Taxi organisiert und am Morgen wurde uns das Frühstück bereit gemacht und mitgegeben.

Aufgrund der zentralen Lage eher laut, aber wir konnten trotzdem gut schlafen.

Velice dobra poloha blízko centra. Ubytování mělo moderní vybavení. Ocenili jsme velkou pohodlnou postel a měkké polštáře. Chutnala nám také moc připravovaná snídaně. Všichni zaměstnanci byli velice hodní a nápomocni.

Nous avons tout aimé, l’emplacement, la décoration de la chambre, le confort du lit et l’accueil de Leonardo qui nous a gentiment prévu un petit déjeuner à emporter car nous nous rendions à l’aéroport très tôt. Il s’occupe également de vous commander un taxi. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir!

Walk to downtown area was just ten minutes. Entry door code was convenient. Room/suite was large, basic and comfortable with double and 2 single beds, sitting area, kitchen, bathroom with shower. Breakfast was good with good selection, communal table allowed intercourse with other guests, (8 during our visit). Guesthouse hosts were friendly, down to earth and helpful. Property was old but was renovated well.

Car Parking close by was a problem. Visit was out of season and city not lively nor very touristy. On flight path for adjacent airport.

Mention spéciale pour le petit déj, et les délicieux cakes & quiches lorraines de Nivadia ! A-Tipica est à 10 minutes à pied du centre-ville de Ponta Delgada. Plein de bons conseils si on en souhaite (résa sortie baleines, résa taxi, etc.) Bref, une maison qui tourne rond, Leonardo et Nivadia sont très attentionnés à leurs hôtes, jusque dans les petits détails, et c'est extrêmement agréable de se sentir ainsi accueilli ! Une super adresse, on l'aura compris.

alors en effet, l'aéroport étant vraiment tout proche de la ville, on entend les avions atterrir (mais comme partout dans Punta Delgada). Bouchons d'oreille mis à disposition dans les chambres, mais si vous y êtes allergiques, il faut envisager une autre option.

Wir haben die Zeit im A-Tipica sehr genossen. Es ist alles super liebevoll gestaltet und die Gastgeber sehr nett. Alles mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail! Sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre beim Frühstück. Ein Lattenrost war gebrochen und Leonardo hat sich sofort gekümmert, als wir Bescheid gegeben haben.

Man kann die hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit im Zimmer riechen, aber das hatten wir erwartet und es war für uns kein Problem.

Das Zimmer im UG hat leicht "Kellercharakter", ist nicht ganz so gemütlich, wie die anderen.

Nevelda & Leo are wonderful, welcoming and friendly hosts. They care about their service and you can tell they put in 100% effort. Breakfast was great, I liked that they offered a choice and even though we didn't need it, they offered breakfast to go for those who have to leave early. The bathroom was spacious even though it was shared, it was not a problem - noone ever has to wait.

Having the AC unit relocated to the bedroom instead of small sitting area would have helped regulate the overall temperature better
