Comme il y a peu de chambres donc peu de monde au restaurant ( bien car loin du tourisme de masse mais un peu sombre et triste le soir )

L'hôtel est extrêmement calme et le personnel est vraiment adorable. En revanche, les prix (repas, massages) restent bien au-dessus de la moyenne par rapport à d'autres coins de Bali. Autre point à améliorer : l'ascenseur menant aux chambres. On dépend entièrement du personnel pour l'actionner, ce qui fait qu'on attend parfois 5 à 10 minutes à chaque trajet. Donner un accès piéton direct aux chambres serait un vrai plus pour éviter ces pertes de temps.

Emplacement incroyable avec vue sur la vallée, les chambres sont équipées et confortables, bon restaurant

un peu difficile d'accès (route en forte montée qu'on peut entendre la nuit car les voitures montent dans les tours pour la gravir), accès piscine très mal pensé (au milieu du restaurant/terasse), le plancher est en bois et craque fortement, chaud dedans la journée (il y a la clim) et froid la nuit (beaucoup de vent cette nuit là)

The venue and location is beautiful, as well as the villa being clean and spacious, offering a nice quiet place to relax to yourselves. Additionally the food is wonderful, truly a delight.

The service from staff was quite dissapoiting for the price and additional service charges that come with such a remote location and luxury venue. Often forgetting or seemingly pretending to understand requests and then never following through with them such as room service, laundry, table service at the restraunt, and the overall attentiveness you would exepct from such a venue.

La villa dans les arbres offre un cadre exceptionnel ! La vue est époustouflante . Le dîner Hibachi mérite vraiment d’être fait. C’est un moment génial. La qualité de la cuisine est top et la gentillesse et le professionnalisme du personnel correspondent à ce qu’on attendait. Je recommande sans hésiter.

We absolutely LOVED this hotel and villa! Wow!! Such a gorgeous place! We stayed in the signature 2 bedroom villa and it was so gorgeous, so well laid out, the views were spectacular and the staff was so helpful and gracious! I had the best massage of my life as well there! Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay! Wish we could have stayed longer!! 🙏🙏🌺

Temperature in the room was cold, overall facility was poorly design with old facilities old furniture, in the restaurant area there were pigeon all around, and the service although their kind smiles were not able to be responsible and adequate to The venue.

I love boutique hotels, and Munduk Heaven Villas did not disappoint! With only 10 rooms, this little gem was a memorable stay. I wish I knew a little more about the owner/architect because the hotel grounds are rather small, but they are so beautifully and thoughtfully designed. There were art pieces everywhere including multiple giant dragon sculptures that were so impressive. The design of the floating villas was SO cool. The rooms were just outstanding--so creative, well designed, private, and restful. The wrap around deck and wrap around windows allowed us to feel immersed in nature. Despite having 5 floating villas, we still felt alone like we had a completely private experience. Great design! The food was so good; the views for dining were spectacular. The papaya smoothie (I think it was called the heaven smoothie?) was one of my favorite drinks in our 3 weeks in Indonesia. Our hibachi chef was so personable and kind--it was a fun unexpected dining experience. Unfortunately, we did not have the opportunity to test out the spa, but we really enjoyed just using this time to relax and rest after exhausting days of travel across East Java. Thankfully, our room had more than enough hot water to supply the bathtub and the shower--we gratefully did not feel like we had to be cautious/ration the hot water. The funicular was also a fun experience to help us travel back and forth from our villa to the restaurant/lobby although a winding stair path was also available if preferred.

As another guest mentioned, we did open all of the beautiful glass doors to feel totally immersed in nature (which we did!), but since the location is in the mountains/clouds, we discovered that our clothes/suitcases quickly became damp. This didn't really bother us, but it was notable. Also, the valley is gorgeous and peaceful but it is a sound amplifier. It is worth mentioning that any sound--for us it was yard work and motos--is amplified so the peaceful nature sounds are frequently interrupted. We were not ready to talk about adventure/spa/itinerary options at the time of our arrival (although the front desk did ask us about our plans), but we would have liked to have some pamphlet/reading material with options in our room to look at later after check in. The hotel neighbors their sister company which I think does ATV/trekking/tours, but we never got any information about that, so we chose to just relax in the room for our stay. It is also worth noting that I am not sure I would have enjoyed my stay if I did not book the floating villa. Lastly, the pool is GORGEOUS but high in the mountains, it was still pretty cold in late June.

Help me to create a review for Munduk Heaven Luxury Villas in Bali. One of my fav resorts in Bali. I want to say that the hotel experience was amazing, we stayed in the villas and teh view was spectacular, as the room. People were so kind, the restaurant's food was good and they arranged transportation for us every single time. I would 100% recommend staying here

The views from the room were stunning. Also the staff was very nice.

Sadly the room (and the resort itself) did not meet our expectations on multiple aspects. It is clear that maintenance has not been a high priority over the past years. The most concerning thing for us were nails sticking out (up to 3 mm) from the floor of our room (we decided not to walk barefoot inside of our room, because the risk for injury was to high!). Besides this, the upstairs windows were very dirty and the sheets on the upstairs bed clearly had not been changed in a long time and had stains all over them (we ended up not using the upstairs area at all). Besides the issues with the room, the manager came over as very pushy (trying to sell a special dinner), and also for us seemed to be very unfriendly to his own staff.

Peut être que les cabanes sur pilotis sont biens et propres. Mais pour les chambres on doit descendre beaucoup de marches glissantes ou prendre un genre de téléphérique qui met littéralement à descendre (donc quand on doit remonter comptez 10min le temps qu'ils viennent vous chercher) La propreté est à revoir. Et surtout une grosse odeur d'humidité dans la chambre insupportable.

De locatie is werkelijk uniek. Het ontbijt en avondeten was voortreffelijk. We hebben zeer genoten van deze bezondere locatie!

Helemaal niets 😄

We hadden een standaard kamer met forest view geboekt. Nette ruime kamer, maar helaas erg vochtig. Bij aankomst moest het bedlinnen worden vernieuwd voor droog bedlinnen doordat het vochtig was. Slapen in de natuur is niet helemaal ons ding vanwege de vele beestjes op de standaardkamer (naaktslakken, spinnen, mieren, muggen, bloedzuigers) maar wel een belevenis. 2 nachten in deze kamer geslapen en de 3e nacht een upgrade genomen naar de drijvende villa. Mooie kamer met luxe. Het uitzicht vanuit de villa op de bosrijke omgeving was fantastisch. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het restaurant is ook netjes en het eten is erg lekker. Ontbijt is erg uitgebreid, je kan zoveel aankruisen als je wil! Mooi uitzicht op de bergen met een kleine infinity pool. En als er geen mist of wolken zijn een mooie zonsondergang.

De standaard kamer is beneden aan de berg, die te bereiken is met een tergend langzame lift of 130 treden aan trappen. De villa die wij kregen was bovenin zonder trappen. Beide kamers waren erg prijzig en niet het geld waard wat ze er voor vragen. In de omgeving is er niets te doen en zit je in de middle of nowhere. Een chauffeur voor een dagtrip is daarom ook aan te raden.

Die Baumhäuser sind unglaublich. Achtung: In der Präsentation bei Booking schreiben sie Zimmer oder Villa (floating villa). Das hatte bei mir zu einem Missverständnis geführt. Villa hatte ich nicht alsd Baumhaus verstanden, also falsch gebucht. Musste vor Ort dann umbuchen. War aber kein Problem.

Die Küche, leider. Man ist dort oben doch ein wenig ab vom Schuss, wenn man kein Motorrad oder Auto hat. Das Restaurant ist teuer, aber das Essen könnte sehr viel besser sein. Müsste bein dem Standard, der Lage und Größe.

Es ist eine sehr besondere Unterkunft! Wir konnten uns super erholen. Man sollte auf jeden Fall eine Villa buchen.

Leider müssen wir sagen, dass es ein Instagram Spot ist. Hier wurden wir leider bei unserem 2. Abendessen sehr gestört. Es kommen Externe mit Guide und stören die Hotelgäste beim Essen durch massive Fotos und respektlosem Verhalten. Dazu bekomme diesen Externen, die nur für Bilder kommen die besten Plätze und als zahlende Hotelgäste, die wirklich den Ort genießen wollen, sitzen in dritter Reihe. Hier sollten Hotelgäste bitte im Auge behalten werden.

I don’t know where to start ! Mr. Fajar (the general manager) and Febry (the executive chef) know exactly how to make sure you’ll have an amazing experience! The entire staff went above and beyond! We are eternally grateful for all of their efforts and commitment to excellence! Thank you for making our anniversary so special!

Una struttura immersa nella natura, in cui vivi a contatto con la flora locale, paesaggi mozzafiato e personale molto cordiale. Il ristorante dell’albergo è fantastico, vi consiglio assolutamente di prenotare la cena hibachi: bella, divertente e squisita (prendete i funghi come aggiunta se vi piacciono). La colazione è ben pensata per accontentare tutti i palati a meno di quelli che preferiscono una colazione dolce (per esempio torte, crostate, ecc… non la troverete facilmente a bali) che hanno poca scelta. Tutto ciò che abbiamo ordinato a colazione era ottimo, anche i croissant, che nonostante non siano come quelli del bar si difendono bene, fatevi ispirare dalla giornata e ordinate quello che volete. Nota di merito al caffè, chiedete un espresso e vi assicuro che non vi deluderà, ovviamente non ve l’aspettate come a casa o al bar, ma sarà comunque il migliore di Bali, cremoso e stretto come piace a noi, se vi piace più lungo chiedetelo doppio. Camere molto belle e luminose.

“L’ascensore” per salire dalle camere alla struttura principale, dove ci sono reception e ristorante, è molto lento, anche se il personale è sempre disponibile a salire e scendere, non potrete attuarlo senza il personale. Gli scalini davanti le camere sono molto scivolosi, fate attenzione. In alcune camere si sente l’odore dell’umidità. La posizione non è ottimale soprattutto per chi non ama le curve (Bali non fa per voi), la strada è molto stretta, se andate soli state molto attenti, tuttavia non è lontana dai punti di interesse di munduk.

We thoroughly enjoyed our treehouse villa stay. A unique stay up in the trees and the villa was well appointed, clean and very comfortable. The 2 evening meals we had the restaurant were nice especially the chicken sate. Staff very accommodating. Great views

Our first night we stayed in a forest cabin room which unfortunately was not acceptable due to the room being very damp. We upgraded to a treehouse villa for our next 2 nights. The paths to the rooms need to be pressure cleaned as they can be very slippery. It wound be helpful if the front desk could offer a more reliable taxi service for guests like us who did not have their own car.

This is one of the best hotels in Munduk, with an excellent spa, pool, and restaurant. I’ve been coming here for many years with great pleasure—if not for one detail, which I will describe below.

This time, I decided to stay not in a floating villa but in a small room downstairs, assuming that the name “Luxury Villas” meant a consistent level of quality and service throughout. However, it turned out to be the worst night I’ve had in any hotel over the past year, because the bed linens smelled so strongly of dampness and mold that it was simply impossible to fall asleep.

The location is absolutely spectacular. The property is beautifully integrated into the forest, with stunning suspended cabins that blend perfectly with nature. The staff are outstanding — genuinely warm, attentive and professional. The food is excellent, and the hibachi chef deserves special mention: incredibly skilled and very accommodating with my dietary restrictions. The spa has a magnificent view and is truly a highlight of the experience.

I stayed in one of the lower villas, not in the suspended cabins. Due to the location between dense vegetation, there is significant humidity. Clothes felt damp and had the room had a musty smell. When I arrived, the dehumidifier was already running and the air conditioning was set to dry mode, which suggests this is a known issue. In my opinion, the experience may be very different depending on the accommodation type. I would strongly recommend choosing the suspended cabins instead of the lower villas.

Leider bekam ich Bali Belly nach einem Abendessen im Restaurant. Jedoch hat das Personal sehr gut gehandelt und einen Arzt organisiert. Es stimmt, dass es etwas müffelig in den Villas riecht, Handtücher trocknen nicht richtig, da es sehr feucht ist (waren jedoch dort in der Regenzeit, liegt wahrscheinlich auch einfach am Klima). Allgemein hätte es etwas sauberer sein können.

We dachten dat we een floating villa geboekt hadden maar het bleek een zeer simpele maar prijzige kamer (boshut genaamd) te zijn. Gelukkig konden we upgraden. Met boeken dus even goed opletten.

The worst black mold I’ve EVER experienced in my world travels. Run down, garbage and “storage” items in plane sight. Run down buildings. Maybe this was a 5 star facility when it was built, but it is beyond my comprehension how it still holds this rating.

Everything. Would highly suggest. Amazing villas, have not stayed in a place like this before. Staff great and informative, helped with every detail and what to do like yoga, specific waterfalls. One of the best massages we have ever had- truly, if you stay here you must schedule a massage. Chef hibachi was great experience. The floating villa really is amazing if you can do it

We stayed at this extraordinary resort for five days at the end of our holiday in Bali. When we booked, we didn't really know what to expect. It looked good, but the reality exceeded our expectations. We didn't regret upgrading to the floating villa for a second. The view and the feeling you get from these extraordinary accommodations are breathtaking at any time of day or night and in any weather.Not only are the villas unique, but the infinity pool is also brilliant. The view over the western part of Bali with the mountains and the Balinese Sea is stunning.The service team and restaurant are always available and anticipate your every wish. Breakfast by the pool and dinner in the restaurant are impressive.The resort and the surrounding area invite you to enjoy a variety of activities, whether it's a jungle walk, a waterfall or other activities, everything is possible.

Vacker miljö med fantastisk utsikt över Bergen! Utmärkt personal som var trevlig, tillmötesgående och mycket hjälpsamma. Rummet var rent, det kändes lite fuktigt, men det var nog pga att vi var där under regnsäsongen. Efter en timme med AC kändes det inte så fuktigt längre!

View view waa amazing. Breathtaking. Staff trauned very wellxl, excelet service from ground level staff. However, and whilst after i pushed it was fixed and i was offered a half hour massage which i aprwciate - almoat all bedding/pillowcases had either permenent stains or obvious holes! Like if it was just one i wpukd accept the massage and not mention it but also many just makes me think the owner doesnt care. I didnt even see that in budget hotels

المنتجع مسمي نفسه luxury وانا اللي شفته اشوفه يستحق 3 نحوم فقط لاغير! الغرفة غير نظيفة بعض الشيء الاضاءة في الحمام خفيفة جدًا والحمام بشكل عام غير مريح والمروش سيء لأبعد درجة. اسعار الاكل غالية بالمنتجع. المنتجع يوجد به 5 فلل عائمة و5 غرف مطلة على الغابة اقمت يومين ولم يكن هناك غير في الغرف. واخر يوم ازعجوني بالاتصال الساعة 12 م عشان اطلع يقولون المنتجع فل وفيه ناس تنتظر هههههه للاسف لايوجد اي احد لذلك هاذي نقطة سوداء في تعاملهم. السلم الكهربائي ينقلك من اللوبي للفل والغرف بطيء جدًا وممل! مكان المنتجع بعيد ولا يوجد شي بجانبه حتى grab لايصل له خذ احتياطك. مرافق المنتجع متهالكة!

Property is stunning. Villas are exquisite. Beds are so comfy, staff are just so accommodating and friendly. Surrounded by rainforest. The hibachi dinner was a highlight for us as well.

It is very secluded so definitely sort a bike.

We need to give a huge shout out to IwAn who went above and beyond for us as we left our passports and money in our room and he helped us retrieve them. Such an honest man. We can’t thank him enough. Alles perfekt bis auf einen fuer mich entscheidenden Punkt: Ruhe. Dinner, Personal, Service, Sauberkeit super. Blick ueber den Wald = super. Ich blieb fuer eine Nacht in einer Villa.

Ich hatte ab 13 Uhr bis naechsten Morgen 9 h eine Villa. In dieser Zeit hatte ich, ausser waehrend des Regens bis ca. 15 Uhr war ist ständig von Motorengeraeuschen umgeben. Sie kamen von unter mir hangabwärts. Ich dachte es sei der stetige Service, der mit Quads erledigt werden wuerde. Ich konnte durch den Wald nichts ausmachen. Der Guides des Trekkings allerdings sagte mir, dass es dort auch 15 minuetige Ausfahrten gaebe. Von wem und wieso, das weiss ich nicht. Im Falle von Service koennte man auf elektro umsteigen, in zweiterem Fall sollte man an Alternativen arbeiten. Jedenfalls finde ich das unakzeptabel fuer den Preis und den offensichtlichen Wunsch nach Ruhe in solch einer Lage.

Le cadre, le logement, le calme et même la météo était au RDV, plus nuages la veille au soir rendant le lieu mystique et le matin au lever du soleil exceptionnel offrant une vue dégagée splendide

L accueil plutôt moyen, je suis arrivée en scooter sous la pluie donc trempée, mes affaires ont été disposées dans un coin en boule du coup non sèche pour le départ du lendemain matin

Tolle Unterkunft mit super Blick über die Region. Alles sehr sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Die Baumhäuser sind absolut einmalig! Sehr schön eingerichtet und sauber. Frühstück sehr lecker.

Tudo incrível. Local, projeto muito interessante com os chalés flutuando em meio a mata. Muito amplos e espaçoso. A decor do restaurante é do lobby é que achei um pouco cafona. Não sabem quando parar. Comida saborosa. Amenities ótimos.
