Reviewed Apr 13, 2026Good location where we could tap on XiaoBai to reach the main sights. Amenities and service were like those of 5-star hotels - apart from soft serves and other freebies that could be collected at L1, there were make-up remover, facial cleanser and toner in the spacious rooms. The receptionists were helpful when we needed assistance in ordering our take-away dinner and also gave us medicated oil for parent’s muscle ache. Breakfast was fabulous (especially seafood noodle),staff there were excellent, and the view of the park/lake from there was great as well. There was a small gym and free washing machine with dryer, but we did not have time to use them.

Reviewed Oct 4, 2025Central hotel in the middle of Quanzhou, close to the main sights. Welcome ice cream cone! They mistakenly charged us again (and here I'm still not sure, DID they really double charge us?), but over the next few days, took great care to ensure that the charge was reversed. I was unable to check my card on my end, but the staff at the hotel tracked this for us over several days. I can't commend them too highly for the care they took! The hotel also provided free laundry with automated washing machines!
Not a negative for Holiday Inn, but another brand hotel we stayed in also had the same automated washing machines, and they provided a staff who transferred the washed clothes for tumble drying, then delivered the clothes to our room! So they get extra points!

Breakfast was adequate with a great view overlooking a park and the city. The staff had limited English but were helpful. Comfortable and clean hotel with free self-service laundry.

Reviewed Mar 3, 2023I liked and enjoyed both the breakfast and the hotel's location. Both provided me with ample opportunity to enjoy my stay to the maximum whilst in Quanzhou.
There wasn't anything from memory that I disliked or wasn't fond of. I had a pleasant and comfortable stay in the heart of the city. I recommend it for the majority of travelers.
