The residents above the property are very heavy footed so we could hear them for the entirety of our stay. The apartment is for 4 people however there is only really comfortable seating and dining seating for 3- there is a wicker chair in the lounge to make up a 4th spot but this isn’t ideal. The drainage pipe on the patio has a family of mice in it so there were lots of droppings on the patio which deterred eating outside.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026It was perfect location. You can street park freely. And then you can ride a bus right in front of the apartment. Apartment itself is beautiful especially the terrace. It has breathtaking view. You can control temperatures and washer and dryer is wonderful.

Reviewed Jul 15, 2026Die Einrichtung war geschmackvoll, in erster Linie von IKEA. Der Ausblick von der Wohnung und der Terrasse ist toll. Die Busanbindung nach Bergen ist super.
Trotz einiger Entfernung ist die Schnellstraße Tagsüber und auch Nachts deutlich zu hören. Der Reinigungszustand, besonders des Badezimmers lässt deutlich zu Wünschen übrig.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026The view from the balcony is stunning. Located out of the busiest part of town.The property is easy to get to by bus. FB50 from airport then bus 16E up the hill to Øyjorden. You can purchase the tickets on the bus from the driver. Going into down wait at the bus stop slightly down hill. The 16E runs about every 15 to 20 minutes. The apartment had all the facilities you would like. Washing machine and dryer. We cooked a couple of meals. The hike down to the local store was quite steep but we did it a couple of times. Bed was comfortable. The host was very responsive.
The bathroom, was small and the lighting very dim. There is a switch outside the bathroom that may be broken.

Reviewed Jun 25, 2026L'unica cosa che ci a piaciuto da vero era la vista della veranda che e bella grande e in comune. Purtroppo essendo la città più piovosa possibile non si può usare.
L'appuntamento non era pulito bene però le pretese di togliersi le scarpe al ingresso erano scritte e mandate nel giorno di arrivo insieme con raccomandazioni bel dettagliate di buttare tutta la spazzatura e di togliere la biancheria e metterla in un posto preciso. Mancava solo la pretesa di lavarla. E una cosa molto deludente: Non puoi dare un appartamento a 4 persone e non lasciare 4 sedie per poter mettersi insieme al tavolo che praticamente e una isola. Esiste anche un piccolissimo tavolino di verto che non serve a niente. Non consiglio. Non vale la pena per una vista da alto sentirsi scomodi e trattati come bambini.

Bruit de la circulation sur la rocade. Manque de lumière près de la porte d'entrée pour faire le digicode, et un grille-pain ne serait pas un luxe. De plus, c'est un logement pour 4 et il n'y a que 3 chaises qui sont très hautes. Les lits aussi sont très hauts, pour les personnes de petite taille ou plus âgées, c'est presque inaccessible......

Die Zimmer waren groß und sauber,die Küche hatte alles was man brauchte von der Terrasse hatte man einen atemberaubende Blick Richtung Bergen☀️ Den Kontakt zur Vermieterin war hervorragend und herzlich. Um in die Stadt zukommen war die Bushaltestelle genau vor der Tür👍🏼

Como única pega no hay plaza de parking, hay que buscar donde aparcar en la calle (aunque es gratis y no tuve problemas para encontrar sitio).

Reviewed Mar 14, 2026Quiet. Warm. Nice bed linen. Comfortable sofa. Lovely terrace, although we didn’t get to use it because of the weather.
The property could do with a maintenance check as half the hob didn’t work and several light bulbs were out. There was a strong ‘dirty diaper’ type smell coming from the bathroom at times. The blind in the bedroom was very thin so didn’t block out the light. Also the means to make a cup of tea or coffee after a long journey and before we unpacked would have been nice. I know it’s self catering but a small welcome pack would have been good.

Dommage qu'il y ait eu du brouillard pendant tout notre séjour ce qui nous a empêché de pouvoir profiter de la vue. Son emplacement est proche des transports donc très pratique. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir !

Reviewed Jan 25, 2026Uns hat die Lage mit dem Ausblick und der Nähe zur Bushaltestelle sehr gut gefallen. Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür, sauber, genug Handtücher, gute Küchenausstattung, schöner Blick aus dem Bett. Wir waren sogar einmal so sehr motiviert, dass wir nach Bergen gelaufen sind. Den Mietwagen brauchten wir nur um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Guter Ausgangspunkt für kleinere Wanderungen. Zugang über Code. Kristin ist bei Fragen schnell erreichbar gewesen. Wir würden wieder kommen 😀
… nach einer Woche auf den Barhockern war ich froh mal wieder auf einem Stuhl zu sitzen, aber das mindert natürlich nicht unsere Bewertung, weil wir es uns ja ausgesucht haben 😀

Propreté impeccable… Un petit cocon douillet sur les hauteurs de Bergen .. Décoration et esthétisme parfaits et l’immense terrasse ´est impressionnante .. L’hôtesse donne toutes les informations pour entrer facilement dans son appartement .. ( sms … mails ) L’arrêt de bus est à quelques mètres .. un plus 😀 Très agréable expérience 😀
J’ai tout apprécié dans l’appartement … Juste quelque chose qui n’a rien à voir avec ce confortable nid douillet : La rumeur des voitures sur la grande artère qui traverse Bergen …quand la porte est ouverte uniquement .. La nuit est calme autrement …

Reviewed Aug 1, 2025Fantastische accommodatie met een geweldig uitzicht, schoon, goed inricht, veel kastruimte, de bedden staan op een kleine verhoging geplaatst, zodra je wakker wordt geniet je gelijk van het uitzicht. Complete keuken & wasruimte. Op het dakterras staan twee tuinsets. Met bus 16E ben je in 10 minuten in het centrum van Bergen.
Een haakje of een stoel in de slaapkamers zou handig zijn.

Die Terasse ist super schön und riesig und der Ausblick der Wahnsinn, aber die Terasse hat noch Zugänge zu einer weiteren Wohnung, das sollte man im der Beschreibung erwähnen, da es die Privatsphäre einschränkt.

My only suggestion would be that it would have been nice if tea/coffee/etc was provided, particularly as we arrived late in the evening so it was a bit inconvenient for us to go out to buy supplies for the morning. There is a shop close by though so this is handy for anything you need 🙂 overall we had a lovely stay and would recommend.

Reviewed Jul 22, 2024We had a great family trip for 3 nights staying at this apartment, it was our first time to Norway and we loved it. It was really easy to get to firstly with the light rail from the airport into the city centre then with a very reliable bus service 16E with the stop being just outside of the apartment. The biggest selling point to us was the huge balcony and it did not disappoint we enjoyed sitting out here in the mornings with a coffee and in the evenings with a glass of wine. We got incredibly lucky with the weather so managed to use it every day. Would definitely recommend staying here it's a great base to explore Bergen.

The kitchen has all necessary equipment, you can park in the street for free, communication with the owner without any problems. There is even a washing machine and dryer, very convenient.
The location might be not ideal for somebody as you need a car/bus to take you to the centre, but we did not mind - it's still close and the view and apartment atmosphere is worth it!

The apartment was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. We loved our stay here and would definitely return.
A light by the front door would be handy as we needed to use the torch on our phone in order to see the keypad, even during the day.

In good weather, it's fine, but in the rain and cold, it's less comfortable. The clothes dryer was broken, so we had to dry laundry by hanging it and using a towel drying cupboard, which is less convenient.

Reviewed Apr 9, 2023Large sized clean appartment, well equipped and lovely decorated. The view from the terrace on the bay of Bergen is just gorgeous. Easy to reach the location via bus E16, the stop is a few meters from the appartement. We also hiked to the city center, its a one hour walk and you can avoid the noisy main road by walking through gamble bergen and use parallel roads afterwards.
No real dining table, but that was ok for us to just use the bar stools. No big deal.
