The location was great, we loved that we had access to a full kitchen. The entire Inn was spotless and Noelia made our stay an absolute joy! What an asset to your business and guests!

Noella and Luisa were so welcoming and we enjoyed our 11 night stay very much. Having a kitchen to prep breakfast was so convenient

Una experiencia fantástica. Lo que más destacaría son las vistas de la habitación, realmente espectaculares y que hacen que la estancia sea aún más especial. El trato del personal fue excelente en todo momento: muy atentos, amables y pendientes de que todo estuviera perfecto. Además, destacaría especialmente la limpieza. Todo estaba muy cuidado, limpio y en perfectas condiciones, algo que se agradece muchísimo. Sin duda, un lugar al que volvería y que recomendaría sin dudarlo. ¡Una experiencia de 10!

Na pierwszym miejscu możemy postawić czystość, pokój był sprzątany praktycznie codziennie-świeże ręczniki, dywanik w łazience i zawsze był zapas papieru ;) Super widok z balkonu jak i tarasu na ocean. Na duży plus wspólna kuchnia, w pełni wyposażona, osobne półki w lodówce, mogliśmy też korzystać z niektórych produktów. Pani zarządzająca obiektem bardzo miła i pomocna, wprowadziła nas w wyspę, poleciła najciekawsze miejsca w okolicy i służyła odpowiedzią na każde pytanie (dobra komunikacja w języku angielskim).

Tolle Unterkunft in bester Lage, die Zimmer sind sauber und groß genug, auch für einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt. Es gibt eine riesen Terrasse mit Blick aufs Meer, die zum Verweilen einlädt. Louisa, die Gastgeberin, war sehr zuvorkommend und hat tolle Tipps gegeben. Auch die große Gemeinschaftsküche ist komplett ausgestattet. Alles in allem hätten wir es nicht besser treffen können!

Krásné ubytování s výhledem na oceán. Velice vstřícná ubytovatelka, která nám poradila s výlety, restauracemi a zarezervovala nám i večeři v Tony's restaurant. Mrzí nás, že jsme se nemohli osobně rozloučit.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, bemüht und hätte uns auch ein paar Tipps gegeben, wenn wir sie gebraucht hätten. Unsere Sonderwünsche wurden problemlos erfüllt, es gab kostenlosen Kaffee und Tee, und die Reinigungskraft hat wirklich alles sehr gründlich geputzt. Check in und out ging auch ohne Probleme.

Die unmittelbare Umgebung wirkte leider recht trist und optisch in die Jahre gekommen, und auch in der Unterkunft selbst machten sich viele Beschädigungen sowie ein deutlicher Investitionsstau bemerkbar. Zum Beispiel war die hintere Eingangstür einige Tage lang defekt. Beim Jacuzzi funktionierten gefühlt nur zwei Düsen halbwegs, zudem war er für zwei Tage komplett außer Betrieb. Einladend war er leider auch nicht, da er durchgehend abgedeckt ist. Am unteren WC befand sich ein Schild mit dem Hinweis, dass es defekt sei. Der Föhn im Zimmer funktionierte ebenfalls nicht richtig, da die Kalt- und Warmstufe identisch waren. Die Liegestühle wiesen Roststellen auf, dass wir uns nicht daraufgelegt haben. Das Doppelbett war mit einer einzigen, durchgehenden Matratze ausgestattet, bei der man jedes Umdrehen des Partners bemerkt – was für uns im Vergleich zum mitteleuropäischen Standard mit zwei getrennten Matratzen zu einem unruhigen Schlaf führte. Auch der Umgang mit unserer Privatsphäre war unangenehm: Das Personal räumte private Kleidung und Gegenstände eigenständig in den Schrank und hinterließ täglich eine geöffnete Balkontür. Zusammen mit der Videoüberwachung im unteren Gebäudeteil sorgte dies bei uns für ein anhaltendes Unbehagen.

Fuimos a pasar 5 dias mi pareja y yo y nos encanto el trato de Luisa, una mujer increíble y que esta siempre en lo que haga falta. La ubicación con respecto a la isla es muy buena por que esta centrado y para moverte en coche esta bastante bien. Ademas la terraza conjunta y el jacuzzi le dan el toque al alojamiento. Por ultimo, la cocina aunque sea conjunta con los demás huéspedes, esta bastante bien y todo es sensación de como si estuvieras en casa.

Para mi los únicos pero es que las ventanas de la habitación no aislaban apenas el ruido de la calle, parecía prácticamente como si las tuvieras abiertas. Y el otro es que entraba claridad aun teniendo la cortina echada, pero este es un problema menor ciertamente.

Location convenient - a Small car rental highly recommended. They have on site parking, and is centrally located to majority of the main attractions. You can get to points of interest within 90 minutes, depending upon the ever changing weather. The staff is truly amazing!! Whoever the main lady is (I believe its Noelia), she deserves to be making top of salary range, and needs to be cloned from a hospitality standpoint. She went above and beyond any individual I have EVER interacted with at a place I've stayed. When they say cleaning days are M-W-F, they clean EVERYTHING! If you go there for no other reason, go there to meet Noelia. She is truly that amazing of a person.

Travel light. We booked this planning a 10 day trip post Madeira visit with two 25+ KG suitcases plus two carry-ons that had to be lugged up to the 3rd floor. Did make for a tight squeeze when suitcases not stored (note - there is ample closet space). If there's an issue with room (register/AC, bidet, etc), someone may not be able to assist immediately dependent on time.

La literie double peu confortable. Attention , les chambres qui ne sont pas face a la mer donnent sur une rue bruyante. Le personnel de ménage qui se permet de prendre des petites choses sensées être sans importance.

Velice příjemná paní domácí,krásný výhled a vlastní kuchyňka s terasou na jídlo a vířivkou. Pohodlné, milé a bohatě splnilo mé očekávání... Parkování bylo přímo před domem..

Es una pequeña posada, con solo 8 habitaciones, y absolutamente todo lo que necesitas para una estadía cómoda y relajada. Tiene una cocina súper equipada y podes usar todo. La habitación estaba impecable y muy cómoda, el balcón con una vista increíble.

Solo por ayudar a que entiendan mejor, los espacios comunes están disponibles y cuentan con todo lo necesario, pero no son muy grandes. Con lo cual, no podrían todos los huéspedes cocinar o comer en la mesa al mismo tiempo. De todos modos, es algo que no suele pasar.

The room was well decorated and clean. I was on the top floor with a balcony view of the ocean. The staff were smiley and friendly on arrival, very helpful with details of the area and things to do. The kitchen area is a help yourself. Clean and well maintained. The hot tub was amazing for a post tour dip especially on the cold days. The area is just outside of the centre. I liked that it was just a nice mix of calm and a walkable distance from the city centre approximately 25 minutes. Also walkable distances to nearby beaches.

Nothing! I don't believe the property is accessible to those with mobility issues. (Not an issue for me personally).

The mattress was very uncomfortable, the water in the jacuzzi is treated with some strong chemical (smells like bleach) and it leaves the smell on the skin, it had also decoloured my swimming trunks

Nem volt ilyen. Jobb szobát kaptunk, mint gondoltuk.

Excellent accueil, propreté, personnel très chaleureux et donnant des recommandations. Le jacuzzi, la cuisine bien équipée avec la cafetière. La super vue! Et l'emplacement bien pratique. Le prix est imbattable.

Back door didn't close correctly and the heat wouldn't come on but I only needed it before bed but not once under the covers.

Couldn't ask for a more hospitable staff- the hotel rooms were clean and the kitchen was very big and cook friendly. There is also a jacuzzi on the deck facing the ocean and few things in life compare to a jacuzzi during a rainy day. Location wise its right on top of 2 big beaches and there are many walkable restaurants. Overall, we loved our stay and will be back.

Not the fault of the hotel, but note, a rental car is a must on this island and so parking can be an issue. We were lucky to visit in the off season, but can imagine it would be an issue

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice room with a balcony and a very comfortable bed. Jacuzzi available and delicious breakfast in the sun on the terrace every day. A bottle of excellent wine was included as a bonus.

Bardzo dobra lokalizacja, czyste i przyjemne pokoje, świetna obsluga- bardzo miła i pomocna. Na przywitanie otrzymuje się butelkę wody oraz czerwone wino, co jest również bardzo miłym dodatkiem. Śniadanie smaczne.

A nice B&B with the ocean view in Sao Rouge away from Ponta Delgada but close to the airport without airport noise. Nice staff cook breakfast to your order. Parking is a bit tricky need to jump the sidewalk curb but a little easier after few times. Two restaurants (Cais 20 and Forte Terrace) nearby are in walking distance and food and services are so good, we went back several times during our six nights stay.

The staff was excellent, very informative of our needs and the knowledge of the area. Breakfast were excellent, very fast and great language communication. Access to all that was the island was great, seen pretty much all of it. Thanks to all.

Well, you have heard it before but the exchange rate euro to Canadian dollar was very high, oh well we still managed to have a great experience.

A very cute hotel with a warm, family-like staff. Excellent location, delicious and indulgent breakfasts. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at the Inn--slept so peacefully and comfortably, enjoyed delicious breakfasts, the magnificent whirlpool and best of all, the staff at the Inn are so sweet and helpful! They were really a bright spot of our trip to the Azores. They brought us canteloupe out to the whirlpool for us and helped us greatly when we had a mishap. Strongly recommend this place. Very cozy, clean, homey.

Bien situé, pas loin de Ponta Delgada, en bord de mer. Personnel très sympathique et souriant. Petit déjeuner très complet avec gâteau fait maison chaque matin. Terrasse vue sur la mer pour le petit déjeuner c'est super agréable.

Le falta limpieza, no pudimos guardar la ropa en armario y las toallas olían un poco a humedad.

El servicio es muy amable, te hacen sentir como en casa. Nuestra habitación era de las que dan a la calle, es decir, no tenía las vistas al mar, pero era una habitación luminosa, muy limpia y cómoda. El desayuno estaba genial, hay variedad cada día.

El desayuno y la persona que lo preparaba es un 10. En cuanto al personal, la chica rubia fue encantadora con nosotros (no recordamos el nombre). Las vistas al océano nos encantaron y creemos que es un sitio recomendable

Lo peor fue el barrio, lo encontramos un poco sucio, viejo y poca calle peatonal. En cuanto a la habitación, es cómoda, pero el mobiliario es algo antiguo. Por poner una pega más, el ruido de la calle se escucha bastante.

The staff makes you feel at home. They were very kind and helpful, especially Noelia and Luisa and all the persons who prepared the breakfast which was exceptional. The location was great to visit the island with a fantastic Ocean view and near good restaurants. Garoupas inn was our best stays in a hotel ever

Some of the best hotel views on the island!! Loved our balcony room. Amazing made to order breakfast every morning. Staff were always super friendly. Could access the whole island easily from there. Easy free parking. We were there for 8 nights and had the best time! Great value for the money we paid. Could walk to local market and cafe. Fun ocean swimming hole and lookout right across from the hotel.

Only tiny improvement could be the air conditioning unit working more consistently but was fine overall.
