Best guesthouse, clean, spacious rooms, beautiful house, helpful and friendly staff, great breakfast. No charge for luggage or anything extra like other places.

Nothing it was lovely.

Staff were friendly and helpful. I dealt with Joan and Marilyn. Breakfast was great. The bed was very comfortable. Too bad the room did not have air-conditioning but they did have a fan and I was in the middle so I could open my window. Location is across the street from metro, lots of stores n super market within the block. Lots of shops n restaurants around. I highly recommended Chalet D'Avila.

Alles war sauber. Sehr leckeres Frühstück mit sehr guter Auswahl! Sehr nettes Personal. Die Gemeinschaftsbäder waren auch sauber. Tolle Atmosphäre durch die alten stuckbesetzten Räume.

Leider Hellhörig, bzgl. der Nachbarzimmer aber auch zur Straße. Daher leider kein ausschlafen möglich. Schlafcouch für die Kinder ok aber recht klein und nicht besonders bequem. Ansonsten hat es uns gut gefallen.

Really lovely vibe in the guest house. The staff were lovely and the location was great… metro stop literally outside the door. Breakfast was lovely and though it wasn’t en-suite, the bathroom was always free when I needed it. Bed was comfy too.

The lack of air con in the room was the only fault and the street noise on my first night.. but ear plugs sorted that out.

The hotel is beautiful and the hosts are very nice and welcoming, showing me absolutely everything on the map worth visiting, better than any guide. And one night upon returning to the hotel around midnight, we mentioned to the host that it smells like pastry, which he answered that he is baking bread for the breakfast🤩 Just for that I would return back to this place!

Se esforzaron en que no esperase mucho tiempo, me ayudaron con la maleta, me acompañaron a la habitación, me ofrecieron tomar un café durante la espera y me guardaron la maleta el ultimo día. The guest house has an absolutely amazing location - right in the city centre, yet on a very quiet and peaceful street. The metro is literally right next door, and thanks to the perfect location we were able to explore most of Lisbon on foot. We loved the delicious breakfast and excellent coffee. It was also such a lovely touch that we could have a croissant and coffee immediately after arriving, even though it was not yet breakfast time. Everything was very clean, beautiful and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. We also really appreciated being able to keep our own things in the fridge and having a washing machine available. One of our favourite things was the beautiful and cosy living-room areas throughout the guest house – they were so nicely decorated and made the whole place feel like home. We absolutely loved our stay. If I come back to Lisbon, I will definitely stay here again! ❤️

The room was cute and very clean. The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The front desk was very helpful in answering all our questions. The breakfast was great, too. The staff always made sure everything was restocked quickly and that the tables were cleaned up right away.

Fiquei no último andar, que só se sobe de escadas, então para quem tem questões de mobilidade e acessibilidade, não recomendo. Apesar de o quarto ser confortável, estava no verão e com muito calor e só havia um fraco ventilador para amenizar. Não havia isolamento acústico, então alguns hóspedes sem noção batiam portas com força ou caminhavam fazendo barulho.

Un très bon établissement situé idéalement à côté d'une station métro. Beau bâtiment typique de Lisbonne. Chambre et literie très très confortable. Parties communes nettoyées plusieurs fois par jour. Petit déjeuner varié.

It was clean, organized

The breakfast did not even have eggs, needed more nutrients. It doesn’t have AC and even though here it was written that there was a free taxi to airport we couldn’t. The room was intensely loud which made us wake up too early and distrusted our sleep.

Когда моему молодому человеку стало плохо и мы без знания языка должны были вызвать скорую помощь, мужчина на ресепшене нам очень помог, был всегда с нами на связи и сопровождал на всех этапах коммуникации с врачами. Поддерживал нас на сколько это было возможно. Комната очень уютная, светлая, с огромными обворожительными ставнями. Месторасположение супер. Общие уборные комнаты с душем всегда были свободны, их на этаже 2 и никакой очереди ниразу не было. Завтраки волшебные, я была потрясена, что за такую низкую цену комнаты, они могут быть вкусными! Мы приедем обязательно еще и будем рекомендовать друзьям.

Huone sekä yleiset tilat siistit ja toimivat. Keittiö käytössä omille kokkailuille. Maukas aamupala ja mehua+hedelmiä tarjolla koko päivän. Ystävällinen henkilökunta, pääsin huoneeseen reilun tunnin etuajassa. Sijainti viihtyisässä kaupunginosassa ja metroaseman lähellä.

Äänet kuuluu huoneeseen käytäviltä ja yläkerrasta. Korvatulpat mukaan niin ei ongelmaa!

I can't enthuse about this place enough. Awesome staff (who gave us an enthusiastic tour), gorgeous room (simple but very tasteful), exceptionally clean and a beautiful old building. Two bathrooms on our landing. Hotel is right opposite a train station (though staff gave us good directions to places and recommendations of where to eat nearby). Exceptional value for money.

Nothing! I would have said 'the stairs' and slightly awkward entrance door, but the staff were there in an instant to take our suitcases. Even if they hadn't taken care of the luggage, it would have been a very small price to pay for being in such a beautiful historic building.

De tudo. Não esperava uma experiência tão boa sobretudo por de partilhar a casa de banho, mas existem várias e estava tudo limpo e organizado. Os empregados eram simpáticos e muito prestaveis. O pequeno almoço estava delicioso e muita variedade, com horário alargado e disponíveis alternativas caso necessário. Os quartos eram agradáveis e confortáveis, assim como todo o restante do edifício. As redondezas eram maravilhosas para passear. Uma óptima experiência.

Świetna lokalizacja w eleganckiej dzielnicy mieszkaniowej tuż przy stacji metra i przystanku autobusowym. Zaraz obok duży sklep spożywczy Pingo Doce. Było bardzo czysto, śniadania bardziej urozmaicone niż się spodziewałam, wygodne łóżka i klimatyzator w pokoju. Bardzo miły personel. Dostępność napojów i ciasteczek itp. przez całą dobę.

Bardzo mały pokój, brak szafy mimo że na zdjęciach jest (zamiast niej był stojak z dwiema półkami i wieszakami) i suszarki do włosów (w opisie jest), wejście na trzecie piętro po wysokich i stromych schodach. Brak jajek i parówek/kiełbasek na śniadanie.

The staff was exceptionally friendly, the house is a beautiful creaky old lady but very well maintained, the rooms simple but the shared bathrooms clean and the location is literally in front of the metro station that takes you either directly to the airport or into town - what more could you want?

Almost everything about the stay was amazing. Well located, well kept rooms, good circulation of air, great staff, lovely breakfast, kitchen, balcony etc.

The shower 🚿 was a bit bipolar - with hot/cold water interchanging alot even though the tap was geared towards hot. Once that is fixed, this is THE place to stay in Lisbon.

Eu e minha filha, nos sentimos acolhidas pelos funcionários,pela atenção e eficiência de todos.Café da manhã muito gostoso e variado. O quarto limpo,muito confortável. A localização, em frente a saída do metrô,que nos levava para todas as localidades,com muita facilidade. Tivemos ótimos dias ali. Muitos restaurantes e algumas lojas nas proximidades.Achamos bem seguro o bairro.Super recomendo. Espero voltar.

A equipe é super gentil, em especial a Marilyn da recepção. A localização é ótima, o café da manhã é delicioso e bem variado. Vários banheiros estão a disposição, e estão sempre limpos. O estabelecimento é cheiroso e bem decorado. Recomendo e voltarei com certeza!

The room was fantastic – very spacious, quiet, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean, including the bathrooms. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The location is excellent: very central, in a great neighborhood, and with perfect metro connections. I visit Lisbon very often and have stayed in many different places, but Chalet d'Ávila has definitely become my absolute favorite!

It was friendly and clean

Rooms are squeaky clean, the location is great to reach everything (right across from the metro), and the breakfast and atmosphere were just phenomenal. Everyone was so friendly and it felt very peaceful. As it said in the description of the guesthouse, bathrooms are on the floor not in the room - with this, it is worthwhile noting that the bathrooms are cleaned multiple times a day, so they are exceptionally clean.

I did hear cars in front of the house late into the night. Not like an innercity highway, but a steady flow of cars. Nothing you can avoid, and I doubt you get a fully quiet place anywhere in Lisbon.

C'est la 2ème fois que je choisi cet endroit. L'emplacement est très pratique. Mais surtout le personnel est très aimable, on dirait on arrive chez les amis. J'ai eu mon anniversaire et c'était très sympa le petit gâteau avec la bougie qu'ils ont trouvé. Merci beaucoup

Insonorisation; certains gens ne respectent pas la propreté des endroits communes

Le petit déjeuner avec beaucoup d'options et à volonté (qui nous a même été offert le jour de notre arrivée, avant notre première nuit!), la gentillesse du personnel, la propreté de la chambre et des parties communes, l'emplacement juste à côté du métro et de plusieurs arrêts de bus.

La chambre était un peu bruyante (bruit de la rue et du couloir), pour les personnes sensibles, mieux vaut prévoir des bouchons d'oreilles.

Warm Welcome (Good English). Very good airy room (Ground Floor) - Shared Bathroom (opposite) - No problems. Metro Station directly opposte - Easy trip from the Airport.

Das Schlafzimmer war sehr gemütlich und man hat sich sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Einrichtung ist schlicht aber wirklich sehr schön! Das Frühstücksbuffet war auch besser als erwartet und die Bäder wurden sehr regelmäßig geputzt. Auch die Lage hat überzeugt, man war wirklich schnell in der Metro und konnte von da aus alles abklappern.

Leider waren die Bäder auf unserem Flur schon sehr oft besetzt, wenn wir sie brauchten. Irgendwann sind wir dann einfach zu Bädern auf anderen Fluren gegangen- da ging es besser. :)

매우 깨끗하고 친절합니다. 원하는 정보가 있으면 잘 알려줘요. 지하철역 바로 앞이라 관광하기 좋아요. 저는 걸어다녔지만요. 2-30분이면 원하는 곳에 도착할 수 있어요. 근처 백화점 미츄쇼핑센터도 있어서, 여유롭게 쇼팽하기 좋고, 물론 로컬지역도 가깝고 현지 물가를 체감할수 있습니다. 디럭스 룸은 아주 넓고 탁트인 뷰를 지닌, 1개의 발코니와 두개의 창문이 있어요.!밖은 30도가 넘어도 한낮에 방안은 25도를 넘지 않않았고 에어컨 없이도 쾌적하고 시원했어요. 디럭스룸은 거리쪽이라 잠귀가 예민한 분은 다른 룸을 예약허는 걸 추천해여. 물론 나는 도시사람이라 전혀문제되지 않았어요. 방은 아주 우아합니다. 제가 딱 좋아하는 군더더기 없이 예쁜 스타일이었어요. 관광지역의 복잡함을 피해 여유롭게 리스본을 즐기고 싶은 분한테 강추합니다. 참 부엌도 유용했어요. 늘 깔끔하게 관리되 있어요.!

Ми провели три ночі у цьому готелі і надзвичайно задоволені 😍 за цей час змінило зміну кілька адміністраторів і усі були дуже приємними. Підказували куди краще сходити, допомогли зорієнтуватися по карті і метро. Дуже приємні😍 Сніданки смачні і різноманітні. Кім цього впродовж дня ми могли безкоштовно робити каву в кавовій машині, їсти печиво, фрукти, сік і загалом все що було у їдальні. Ми відчували повну безпеку, затишок і доброзичливість і всіх аспектах перебування. Плюс було дуже чисто, що є важливо!

Ein sehr schönes Gästehaus mit liebevoll gestalteten Räumen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Es gibt verschiedene Gemeinschaftsräume und ein gutes Frühstück. Die Umgebung ist belebt mit einigen Restaurants und die Metrostation ist schräg gegenüber. Wenn wir nochmal nach Lissabon kommen, werden wir gerne wieder dort wohnen.
