Lovely stay in a lovely room. The facilities are spotless and the rooms cleaned daily. A generous breakfast buffet is offered every morning with custom omlet. I met and spoke with many members of the staff. A special thank you to Sirine who answered my daily questions and gave great advice. Good location for exploring. Many restaurants and cafes are available for lunch and dinner. I was able to walk to La Marsa beach. Easy to find a taxi if you wish to visit Sidi Bou Said.

It was all great!

The people were the highlight. Felt like I was visiting a home of people who wanted you to be comfortable and enjoy.

I won't say I didn't like this but at the start I entered the room and noticed there was no blanket. Only an additional bed sheet like but as we woke up in the morning. It felt like something was calculated and we woke up feeling really good.

Het ontbijt was niet zoals beschreven. De koffie was koud, geen locale broodkeuze, geen boter. Gezien het decor, aankleding had ik meer verwacht van het ontbijt. Op de kamer waren er geen lepeltjes om de suiker in de koffie te roeren. Het hoeslaken was te klein - kwam steeds los en er was geen matrasbeschermer. Het personeel heeft zich niet voorzien voor mensen die naar de match van de wereldbeker willen kijken. Bij het uitchecken werd er niet gevraagd of het verblijf ons beviel.

The nightwatcher did not help us at all. We infoemd him that our flight had a delay. We called him when we had trouble finding the place. He gave no directions when we were at a similar road in tunis at the other side of town with google maps not working. He was fully aware it would mean quite a delay. He just locked the door and did not react to the phone or door bell. Only when we contacted booking.com directly we were able to get access to our room and sleep. I am sure this is an exception. The rest was all fine.

Great location, just a 10-minute walk from the beach and close to restaurants and cafés. The area is quiet with no car noise. The breakfast is basic but sufficient. The people are very friendly and always reachable if you need anything. Airconditioned rooms. Elevator available

This was a very pleasant stay. Very nice hotel with balconies, great breakfast. I felt very safe. We could walk right down to the water. Really nice gelato place nearby. The staff really went out of their way to make our stay very nice.

L’ensemble de l’établissement est super beau, calme et dans une ambiance typique. Notre chambre était très jolie et propre. Emplacements pour garer la voiture devant.

Staff was very welcoming and everything was super clean and cozy. The breakfast was really good and the whole ambiance.

The shower could have a bit more pressure and the glass of the shower was a bit short and our room got a bit filled with water, nothing bad just that.

Breakfast was excellent. There were many choices ready for us, plus anything we asked for was provided. Madi was always gracious, very friendly, hospitable and professional, ready to help with anything we needed.

Das Bad ist sehr klein und die Aussicht vom Balkon . Die Dachterrasse war noch im Winterschlaf.

Great location in La Marsa north of the city centre near to the coast, Carthage and Sidi Bou Said. Lovely traditional hotel, comfortable, good breakfast, with staff friendly and helpful.

This is a charming hotel located in a residential setting not far from a main road. The rooms have nice historic touches but modern. I had a little balcony full length doors that provided wonderful light. I walked and explored Bou Said and local parks and stores. The staff were welcoming, friendly and responsive. The breakfast had so many different things to taste and everything was so fresh. II was unseasonably cool, but they provided an extra heater for me and I was toasty warm in no time. I had a problem exchanging money but they went out of their way to help me. From start to finish a wonderful experience !

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour à Dar el kif, la décoration donne au lieu une âme, nous nous y sommes senti tout de suite très bien. Medhi à été au petits soins pour nous ainsi que tout le personnel... le lieu est très bien situé proche du centre de la Marsa tout en étant au calme... nous y retournerons avec plaisir

Very lovely guesthouse! Cozy breakfast room and very friendly and attentive staff. The location was very central, but in a very quiet side street. I enjoyed the Tunisian breakfast very much.

El hotel es lindo, la habitación está bien. Me encantó que la cocina es como si fuera la cocina de tu casa, te dejan te, agua, café y tu te lo puedes preparar. El desayuno es buenísimo. Tienen cosas típicas de la zona y todo de muy buena calidad. Lo que más me gustó es el desayuno y este ambiente muy de amigos y de casa, con una sala donde puedes estar y platicar con otras personas. El muchacho que hizo el desayuno me pareció muy amable.

La habitación está bien, cumple con lo que se necesita, de muy buen tamaño. El baño no es tan lindo pero también cumple con lo necesario.

I had a wonderful stay at Dar El Kif in La Marsa. The whole team was incredibly kind and helpful. I arrived around lunchtime, and they kindly prepared something for me from the breakfast — a really thoughtful gesture. They were always ready to help, even when I had a small issue, and their support was truly outstanding. The breakfast was excellent, the room was big, bright, and very clean. A beautiful and comfortable place to stay — I highly recommend it!

Das Zimmer und die gesamte Unterkunft waren sehr schön und gepflegt. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und vielseitig, man kann sogar wünschen wie man die Eier zubereitet haben möchte und der Koch ist sehr engagiert und freundlich 😊

Kjempefint lite hotell sentralt i La Marsa, litt tilbaketrukket på et rolig hjørne. Fine rom med aircondition, behagelige senger og alt man trenger. Hyggelig frokostvert som alltid møtte oss med et smil om morgenen. Kaffen var veldig god, og utvalget i frokostbufféten var supert. Veldig hyggelige ansatte. God og chill atmosfære✌️

Savnet litt påfyll av kaffe/te på rommet, men personalet var veldig behjelpelige med ting som manglet og som vi trengte underveis. Hadde også vært fint med litt info om hvordan starte jacuzzi på terrassen, men ellers tipp topp.opphold🤙

Breakfast great!

We had a very beautiful room and it was very quiet. the Hotel was clean and beautiful. The Staff was very welcoming and kind. the breakfast had many delicious choices. If i nitpick then I would say i didn't like the cheese. you can choose the eggs how you want them and they will be prepared freshly. the location is safe and the beach is with a little walk quite near. for everything else you will need a taxi (which the staff can organize for you). dont forget to check the rooftop. specially in the evening when the heat is gone, its very nice to rest.

Wir waren als Familie für 12 Tage in dieser Unterkunft. Am Ankunftstag gab es ein Missverständnis, das aber vom Team super gelöst wurde – dafür großen Respekt! 👍 Die Inneneinrichtung der Unterkunft ist sehr schön. Damit das auch so bleibt, muss allerdings täglich gepflegt werden – sonst sieht es schnell anders aus. Die Dachterrasse ist ebenfalls schön, aber es fehlt irgendwie das gewisse Etwas. Besonders positiv hervorheben möchte ich zwei junge Damen an der Rezeption. Beide waren sehr freundlich, sympathisch, hilfsbereit und herzlich – ein großes Dankeschön an euch beide! 😘😘 Ich muss ehrlich zugeben, dass ich diese Unterkunft hauptsächlich wegen des Frühstücks gewählt habe, weil es uns als Familie wichtig war. Leider wurden wir in diesem Punkt enttäuscht – besonders, da die Bewertungen so gut waren. Vielleicht sind wir etwas anspruchsvoll 🤷🏼‍♀️ – aber wenn man 12 Tage lang immer das gleiche Frühstück serviert bekommt, wird es irgendwann wirklich langweilig. Es gab sehr viel Süßes. Ich verstehe, dass in diesem Land süßes Frühstück beliebt ist, aber die Gäste kommen aus verschiedenen Ländern mit unterschiedlichen Essgewohnheiten. Das Gemüseangebot war praktisch nicht vorhanden (es gab nur ein paar kleine Tomaten, die fast verdorben waren). Auch beim Obst war die Auswahl sehr begrenzt. Und: sehr viele Eier 😂😂😂 Natürlich kann man aus Eiern viele verschiedene Gerichte machen – aber das wurde leider nicht ausgeschöpft.Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt: Der junge Mann, der das Frühstück zubereitet hat, wirkte sehr unmotiviert. Und was wir gesehen haben, fanden wir leider absolut unappetitlich: Er hat direkt aus der Granola-Vorratsdose gegessen. 😳 Er hat sich einfach das Beste aus der Granola-Dose rausgepickt – Bananenchips und andere Leckereien – für die Gäste blieb nur der „Rest“ übrig. Und der Kaffee? Leider jeden Morgen kalt. ☹️

Aber dann kam der 12. August – unser letzter Urlaubstag: Plötzlich stand ein neuer junger Mann in der Küche: sehr sympathisch, freundlich, motiviert – er hat uns sogar frische Spiegeleier gemacht 🙏🏻 Der Kaffee war zum ersten Mal warm, und die ganze Atmosphäre beim Frühstück war eine ganz andere! Wir waren richtig glücklich – aber auch traurig, dass er erst am letzten Tag da war. 😞 Ein großes Dankeschön an diesen jungen Mann! 😘

Property exceed our expectations! The hotel is nicely designed with attention to every little detail, main hall is absolutely perfect for breakfast and relaxation. Breakfast is so lovely and we enjoyed it a lot! Location is also perfect in the center of La Marsa and close to beach. Hosts are very welcoming and helpful! Definitely recommend this place to everyone!

This is my second stay at the hotel, and I can confidently say it won't be my last. Everything you might need is within walking distance, the complimentary breakfast is delicious, and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Although my room could use some maintenance and updated features, it was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting, whether alone or in groups, for business or leisure.

The room was really spacious and very clean. Breakfast was delicious. Very convenient location and we felt safe walking around in the evening.

Staff was hit or miss. Some people were very warm and kind and some were cold and indifferent. Check is process was not the best. We arrived after 18h and had to wait on the street for a while before someone opened the door for us.
