Reviewed Jun 14, 2026The security, the warm welcome and our own private space to re-group following a long two weeks of travelling from Cape Town. We occupied the garden room separate from the house with our own entrance. The kitchenette was a great addition with lots of amenities. The bed and linens were good quality. The breakfasts were superb and our hosts took time to inform us about local things to do, places to eat etc. Breakfast is served in the main house which rather lovely.
There was nothing to dislike about this property. It was a home away from home.

I did not expect this to be a room inside the owner's house. It is not secluded, like a cottage. It is a room upstairs. The bathroom is subpar, and the shower was not great.

Les pedimos algo fruta fresca y nos la consiguieron, a pesar de no estar en el bufet. Se ve que realmente disfrutan cuidando a los huéspedes.
Quizás por la noche no está bastante iluminada la calle, para salir andando a cualquier lado. La zona es segura, pero necesitas linterna para andar. Aunque es algo común en todo el país.

Беше малко преди 20,00 ч. и тя помоли съпруга си да ме закара и върне до близката пицария, отидохме и се върнахме за минути. Прегледах интересните за посещение места в GetYourGuide за следващите 2 дни в Порт Елизабет и не останах очарована от цените ( в BGP). Не можах да се спра на никоя от предлаганите турове... Стопанката се осмедоми в колко часа ще закуся и каква закуска предпочитам и ми приготви най-вкусните бъркани яйца с кашкавал, препекох си филийки черен вкусен хляб с масло, беше чудна ароматна закуска на фона на лека приятна музика. Разговаряхме мило и с двамата докато закусвах и отпивах от кафето си. Залата за закуска е изключително чаровна, светла, леко и изящно декорирана в бяло и синьо, непринуден и в същото време изискан стил, перфектно местенце за чудесно начало на деня!!! Каква беше изненадата ми, когато, нямайки идея къде да отида, домакинът ми предложи да отидем заедно и да ми покаже най-интересните забележителности. Беше чудесен слънчев ден, получих изчерпателна информация за историята на града и посетените места. Срещнах, запознах се и се сприятелих с чудесни стопани, с които ще продължим да комуникираме и..., ще се върна отново при тях!!!

André is here if you need him and gave us a nice reco for dinner, very nice homemade breakfast in the morning. Highly recommended for a stop over in PE. We'll come again.
