Reviewed Sep 14, 2026On my arrival I was well received by the hosts, a very warm, kind hearted couple. As you come in, you're stunned by the beautiful scenery, full of greenery. My room overlooked the big swimming pool. The aesthetics both inside and outside the room were a wonder to die for 🔥🤍🥹.. The room is clean, and has everything you need. The attention to detail is perfect. Oh I loved the breakfast- it was too good. Thank you to the hosts for making my stay memorable...

Es gab jeden Morgen ein reichhaltiges und frisch zubereitetes Frühstück. Unser Zimmer war sehr großzügig, gemütlich eingerichtet und sauber. Für unsere beiden Kinder war der Poolbereich das Highlight.

1.Room allocated was different from that on the B.com page. Owner said B.com listed 'types' rather than exact room. After querying this, the photos were immediately updated on B.com which felt a bit deceptive. 2. Two improvement suggestions: a) an extractor fan in the bathroom. The window in the bathroom unfortunately doesn't draw out the moisture and odours. Leaving the window open overnight means neighbouring dogs can be heard barking. b) outside furniture to be prepped for guests to use. Good quality, attractive cast iron furniture but not ready to use: no cushions on loungers and seats.

Millbury Guest House was the perfect place to stop over, we cannot recommend it enough.. We loved the location, the fantastic breakfast, Hayley's hospitality and all of Hennie's brilliant advice on what we should do and see on our trip. Thank you both for a great stay!

The rooms are immaculate and breakfast was great and it was very peaceful around the pool area. Hennie gave us some good tips on where to visit on the Garden Route which was helpful. O quarto é excelente e muito espaçoso, com camas e chuveiro perfeitos após um dia de passeio. Os donos fizeram de tudo para nos agradar. Como nosso voo sairia muito cedo fizeram questão de acordar e preparar um café da manhã especial para levarmos ao aeroporto, assim nossas filhas não ficariam sem comer pela manhã. Com certeza voltaria e recomendo demais essa hospedagem tão especial.

Schon bei der Ankunft fühlt man sich sofort willkommen – und das liegt vor allem an der außergewöhnlichen Gastfreundschaft der beiden Inhaber, Hennie und Hayley. Beide sind unglaublich herzlich, aufmerksam und stets darum bemüht, dass es ihren Gästen an nichts fehlt. Das Guest House ist liebevoll geführt, sehr sauber und bietet eine angenehme, entspannte Atmosphäre. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit viel Herz und Leidenschaft gearbeitet wird. Hennie und Hayley nehmen sich Zeit für ihre Gäste, geben tolle Tipps für die Umgebung und schaffen es, dass man sich eher wie bei Freunden als in einer Unterkunft fühlt. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt rundum genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Wer in Port Elizabeth eine Unterkunft mit persönlicher Note, Herzlichkeit und Wohlfühlfaktor sucht, ist im Millbury Guest House genau richtig. Vielen Dank für die wunderbare Zeit!

My wife and I stayed for one night before returning to the UK from Port Elizabeth airport but wished we could have stayed longer. The hosts were so helpful and kind making us feel like we were staying with family recommending restaurants and safe local walks. Thank you we will be back.

The whole complex is beautiful and the rooms are spacious, clean and comfy. Plus, we really liked the pool area! The breakfast was yummy, too. The guesthouse is in a safe area and perfectly secured. Reviewed Nov 6, 2025Wir hatten tolle Tage bei Hennie & Hayley. Die Zimmer und gesamte Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der Hof ist mit einem Tor gesichert und unser Auto konnten wir kostenlos parken. Das Frühstück ist lecker, es gibt Buffet und auch warme Speisen (Rührei, Spiegelei, Bacon etc.). Die Unterkunft ist nah zum Flughafen, aber ohne Lärm. Fußläufig sind Cafés erreichbar, ansonsten alles einfach per Uber. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
