Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Room and facilities were excellent. Karen and her team do an excellent job of making you feel welcome and helping with anything you need. The location was good as it gave easy to access to anywhere in Durbanville. Bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever experienced away from home, along with a quite environment it meant a good nights sleep.
There was nothing to dislike. This is a great place to stay.

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026Extremely judgmental and false. We made a last minute booking and upon arrival were questio Ed and judged on our appearance and I am almost certain race aswell. The manager and her husband made us feel as though we are not suitable to stay at the property , not accommodating at all, and then dismissed us and referred us to a nearby guest house.

Reviewed Apr 29, 2026Location very central and convenient. Lovely view from the balcony on the inviting pool area. Our host ,Wouter, very friendly and accommodating. Room rather spacious and clean. Bed very comfortable. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again.
Nothing not to like except for the shower cubicle in the bathroom could do with a bit of an upgrade.

Nick, our host was exceptional. Even though we arrived a little late, we were welcomed with friendliness. 10/10 for Nick :-)

Outside room did pick up some noise fro the main road. When walking into the house and going upstairs we smelt cigarette smoke so not sure if guests were allowed to smoke in their rooms or someone was smoking in the house.

The owners are racist, the husband, wife & son will be hearing for my lawyers, they said I was noisy when I was remov8nb bags from the car, then they asked me some very personal questions, then charged me USD50 for a broken salt shaker then when my back was turned took my laptop & tab for 3 days and added spyware to them, i thought my tab & laptop had been stolen only to hear from someone ghat the owner of the property had taken my belongings. He wanted to do a secret background check on the sole African black woman to check if I wasn't an Afrcan thief, then didn't even apologise when I asked for my things back he handed them to me without a word.
