Reviewed Aug 11, 2026We loved the fact that it was close to ORTambo. The apartment was clean, bed was comfortable and we felt safe. The hosts were friendly, helpful and provided enough filtered water, coffee, tea, milk and rusks. Thank you for a great stay.

I don't like the idea when you stay more than one night your milk they keep in the fridge doesn't get changes or refilled and the same with the coffee and sugar.

Reviewed Nov 13, 2025The self-catering kitchen is well equipped. Secure and comfortable rooms where you can safely leave your stuff and go enjoy the city. There is parking. Rooms have all amenities that you'd expect. Well-run by friendly owners & staff.
The braai area has a gas braai. But the gas bbq seemed unusable, with some cob-webs. On the first night it was thin margins to go park next to the double cab bakkie. Maybe missed a pole by 1 or 2cm. On the 2nd night without the bakkie it was very easy to park.

Oh the pets on the premises are so friendly and beautiful, you don’t have to play with them but I did. The garden well maintained and extremely beautiful. The place has a sense of peace and serenity. If you love quiet peace of mind, this is for you. 10/10 Thank you!!!

The hosts (Ansa, Eddie, Ryk & Ida) & the staff were all wonderful , friendly & happy to assist me with all my needs, really appreciated as I am disabled. The unit was lovely serviced every day & he gardens are exquisite. Coffee, teas, milk suger bottled water & the most delicious rusks are provided & replenished as needed. I would highly recommend Celtis Lane for anyone looking for a place to stay in a beautiful setting close to all amenities be it for a day or 6 weeks! I absolutely loved it.

The room was too small. Not enough windows. I felt confined in a container. It was too hot, I couldn't sleep with the fan blowing all night. The room is overly priced. I honestly felt like asking for my money back for alternative place, unfortunately it was late and I was tired.

Conveniently located not far from OR Tambo Airport, East Rand Mall, and Boksburg’s Food Lovers Market. The neighborhood boasts high safety standards, making it ideal for both solo and group runners. Private security is consistently present, ensuring peace of mind. Additionally, the host is exceptionally welcoming and attentive to guests' needs. I arrived earlier than anticipated, and the host graciously allowed me to check in ahead of schedule. I look forward to booking again in the future.
