The Breakfast was excellent fresh and delicious!! The staff in total was very friendlyand accomodating ,the room was spacious and very nicely decorated ! overall a lovely stay

didn't expect what was virtually 2 rooms (booked a room for 3). breakfast was great, as was the pool . the location

would have liked a kettle outrageous that we were charged 2 euros for the second (and third, because we hadn't been told about the charge when we asked for the second) flask of water. We were then told only the first flask is free. Seeing as the daily rate is the same whether you are there for one night or 2, or 3, a flask of water should be provided daily. Also, the coffee at breakfast. Only 2 cups included. Since they are very small cups we felt this was very mean. Toiletries were not replaced either

This family run hotel is in an excellent location. It is full of character and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to assist us after an accident delay our return home. The beds were very comfortable. It was incredibly clean. It had lovely personal design features.

We loved the location, close to everything but nice and quiet. We also enjoyed the private water area away from the crowds. We had a relaxing end to our vacation and the plus was the ability to order from the bar and have food delivered. We enjoyed that it was a family run business, the dad even brought us cappuccino’s in the morning.

Es war ein fantastischer Aufenthalt. Das familien geführte Hotel ist perfekt. Die Eigebtümer und die Angestelltelten kümmern sich liebevoll um die Gäste. Man fühlt sich sehr umsorgt. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet und das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Es ist ein wunderschöner Ort. Vielen Dank für alles. Wir kommen gerne zurück.

L'hotel si trova appena fuori dal centro, per me un punto a favore perché si trova in una zona tranquilla... La colazione superlativa e ben organizzata!! Tutto lo staff è super gentile e disponibile. La piscina non enorme ma pulitissima....comoda per rilassarsi avendo anche il bar a fianco. Esperienza ottima.....

Das Frühstück war wirklich sehr sehr gut und einzigartig! Es wurde am Tisch serviert. Das Servicepersonal war sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam! Besonders der direkte Seezugang mir Liegen und Schirmen macht den Aufenthalt perfekt!

Private pier was amazing, worth going back! Breakfast very good, staff very nice. Room was clean. Family business. Location perfect, easy walk to everywhere. The reception took us to our room when we arrived. I was not expecting that and it felt like they cared.

Pool area needs some care. Chairs are broken and changing room very dirty and full of spider webs. Pool itself was very well maintained. Water refill for 2€, not a big problem because the water was very fresh and good, but it was very very warm and I am in favor of free water in extremely hot weather. The room without a balcony missed a place to hang the bikinis and wet towels

Die Familie incl. Juniorchef sind entzückend! Das Hotel hat einen wunderbaren Badesteg, der nur in einer Minute vom Hotel zum erreichen ist. Man kann dorthin sogar per WhatsApp Getränke und Snacks bestellen, die in einem praktischen Eis gefüllten Einer serviert werden. Das Zimmer war sehr hübsch eingerichtet und der Pool sehr sauber!

L'hôtel est vraiment très bien situé, non loin du château et du Centre historique, des Thermes, des grottes, de la plage Jamaica, de la maison de Maria Callas, des restaurants, des restaurants guide Michelin, des navettes portuaires, le cadre de cet hôtel est beau la piscine le panton, magnifique, le petit déjeuner servi en terrasse bordé d'oliviers, les chambres lumineuses confortables, le personnel très agréable souriant tout était parfait cet hôtel est noté 3 étoiles il en vaut 4 Je remercie également le patron au moment du checkin pour l'adresse des restaurants Il Girasole et Il Pescatore excellent Merci beaucoup

Dejligt hotel med dejlig morgenmad. Hunde meget velkomne. Dejligt med parkering foran hotellet selvom pladsen er begrænset. Dejlig lille pool og lægger badebro. Restauranten serverer gode frokostretter. Alt i alt en god oplevelse

Dette er ikke kritik af hotellet, men er man som bilist ikke vild med at køre blandt mange mennesker og i snævre gader, så er dette hotel ikke det rigtige. Synes dog ikke selv at det er så slemt, men det er en speciel oplevelse

Personligt, härlig personal! Perfekt boende för en tonårsfamilj! Egen brygga ut i Gardasjön och fin pool. Nära till allt. Fantastisk frukost! Bra glutenfria alternativ!

Hôtel calme, à l'écart de la foule, avec sa piscine et son ponton privé sur le lac. Le personnel est vraiment très agréable et parle français. Le petit déjeuner servi à table est vraiment rafiné et la présentation soignée.

Unser Aufenthalt war einfach wunderschön. Die Lage mit Pool und Steg zum See war traumhaft. Das Personal war immer freundlich. Ich würde jederzeit gerne wiederkommen.

Das Einzige, was ich etwas bemängeln könnte, ist die gelegentlich schlechte WLAN-Verbindung

Ultima tappa del nostro viaggio,per noi assolutamente una grande sorpresa. Personale molto professionale, estremamente gentile e cordiale che sempre con sorriso svolge un servizio da cinque stelle! A partire dalla colazione, servizio in piscina e al pontile. Camere pulite e una particolare attenzione ai minimi dettagli. Torneremo sicuramente!

Sirmione is a great place to explore on its own as well as Lake Garda itself. Hotel Serenella is a beautiful hotel with amazing staff who go out of your way to make sure you have a memorable time. The breakfasts were superb - you make your selection the night before. The garden is a lovely place to sit and dwell as well as enjoy your breakfast or a mid-day snack. The hotel has its own jetty and from there it is into the warm waters of the lake. We would 100% stay here again, if we ever get the chance!! Highly recommended!!!

La habitacion era bonita, la playa privada en el lago muy tranquila y cómoda, la piscina aunque no supimos poner en marcha el jacuzzi y el desayuno de 10. El personal muy atento y amable. Pasear por la noche cuando se han ido muchos visitantes de pasar el día es una sensación maravillosa. El atardecer es muy bonito en el lago.

La ducha no tragaba y resultó incómodo. La nevera muy pequeña y se caian las botellas. El jacuzzi de la piscina no funcionó o no sabíamos cómo. La ubicación está muy bien junto al lago pero nosotros fuimos en autobús desde la estacion de tren de Desenzano y fue un poco incómodo, confuso y hay que andar bastante desde la parada entre miles de visitantes y cargados con maletas. La vuelta vino un taxi a recogernos llamado por la recepción y mejoró mucho.

Lovely family run property with traditional Italian decor in a wonderful location within the old town - staff super friendly. Pool lovely and clean and the sun loungers on the jetty an added bonus. Had a comfort room with balcony with a view of the lake over the rooftops. Towels were of a decent size and not like the tiny bath towels you get in some hotels and changed regularly

Rooms felt a little dated and the beds and pillows very uncomfortable as were very hard, maybe just not my preference, but it didn't aid for a good nights sleep . Attention to detail in the bathroom needed to fix shower door and replace cracked toilet seat, but I'm sure the housekeeping would have noticed this and reported to management - not enough storage space for toiletries in bathroom or any drawer space for clothing and a bin in the bedroom would be a bonus

Hotel in una ottima posizione, tranquillo e con la spiaggia privata. Tutto il personale, dalle donne delle pulizie ai baristi ai receptionist, nessuno escluso, veramente molto disponibile, allegro e simpatico.

Alle Mitarbeitenden waren außerordentlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Trotz unserer Abreise vor den regulären Frühstückszeiten wurde uns am Vorabend ein Frühstückspaket für die Reise vorbereitet. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und das Hotel mit dem privaten Steg mit fantastischem und ungestörten Zugang zum See ausgestattet.

Das Hotel Serenella ist etwas ganz Besonderes: Traumhaft schön gelegen, mit urig eingewachsenem, wunderschönem, mediterranem Garten, in dem man morgens entspannt frühstücken und abends bei einem Drink von der hübschen Bar den Tag ausklingen lassen kann. Wir haben die Zeit hier sehr sehr genossen, auch, weil die Mitarbeiter allesamt äußerst freundlich sind und sich wirklich sehr gut um ihre Gäste kümmern! (An dieser Stelle möchten wir besonders Matthia erwähnen, der einen absolut exzellenten Job macht und natürlich Sarah, die Seele und Chefin des Hauses!) Das absolute Highlight des schönen Hotels ist der hauseigene Bootssteg, auf dem man sich auf Sonnenliegen mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf Sirmione und über den See traumhaft gut entspannen kann-einfach wunderbar! Man merkt, dass das Hotel ein über Generationen geführter Familienbetrieb ist: Hier herrscht noch eine persönliche Atmosphäre und kein Massentourismus-dies spiegelt auch die Einrichtung und Dekoration der Zimmer und der Hotellobby wider: Viele süße kleine Antiquitäten oder Vintage-Möbelstücke und Bilder an den Wänden, die eine große Gemütlichkeit und Liebe zum Detail ausstrahlen. Excellent location, just past the busy shopping areas. Air conditioned room. Familiy run hotel with the same friendly staff throughout our stay. Pool on property was very popular with the children and a nice shaded area with a small bar, to hang out for those of us who don't like bathing. Short walk to the Grotto and all in all, every thing in the old town is quite close. Just 10-15 min walk to the entrance of the old town.

As one wwho starts the day with several cups of coffee I wish there had been a coffee maker in the room, or a machine in the lobby (there was a small bar in the lobby, though, but wasn't open when I woke up). But no big deal.

The breakfast

Fridge only worked on the last day. Was put in a room on the first night with non working AC (during Italian heatwave) no bathroom door. Very dangerous slippery bath. Very rude owner who shouted at us rudely regarding a small incident about not getting our eggs for breakfast (he said we crossed it off the list (he made such a fuss about this and it was very upsetting)

The location of this hotel is perfect. Tucked away just beyond the town centre, on a quiet lane. This was our second stay at this hotel and we would highly recommend, it's a little quirky which we like very much. The breakfast is lovely, beautifully presented and all the staff are very helpful. This is a real family run hotel and is shows in the care they take to make your stay a memorable one. It has a great little pool area, a shady terrace where you have breakfast and lunch if you choose. A short walk down the lane brings you to the lake and a private jetty, with sun beds and steps down in to the lake for a swim. You can message the hotel bar, and they will bring drinks to you as you soak in the beautiful views. We will definately be back again. Thank you Hotel Seranella
