Park Hyatt Suzhou

I've reviewed this hotel in the past - it remains excellent. I've been a Globalist since 2019 and believe this is the best Hyatt in the world. 1) If you can afford it, I strongly recommend booking a terrace suite. They are gorgeous in the inside in design and size and have huge terraces that look out over the Jinji lake. I spend several hours every night sitting on the terrace looking at the lake and lighted ferris wheel. It is 100% worth the money for the terrace suites. They, as well as the park deluxe suites at PH Jakarta, are my favorite suites in the Hyatt system. 2) the Beijing duck is done very well here, and we always order it as a family when dining in the Chinese restaurant. They drench Wuliangye alcohol in the duck and light it in fire - it tastes great and make a wonderful photo or video opportunity. 3) service - best service I've seen at any hotel anywhere in the world, on parallel with Singita safaris in Africa. It's that good and customized, partially because I'm a repeat guest. This is far and away my favorite hotel in the world. I do about 200 nights a year in a hotel and have done this for 20 years (Starwood and the Hyatt). And stay regularly in 4S, Mandarin Oriental, Rosewood, Peninsula, including their flagships in HK or Bangkok that win best hotels in the works. For me, Park Hyatt Suzhou is the best hotel. There's not a single complaint I can make about it, except that I can't buy one of the suites to live in the hotel full-time. I have actually considered booking a suite to retire there.

Park Hyatt Suzhou is extremely clean and comfortable. It is among the best Park Hyatt properties I have ever stayed at. All staff members are friendly and professional. I highly recommend this hotel to travelers. The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a short walking distance to Jinji Lake. It is very convenient to stroll along the lakeside after dinner.

Good price with best Hyatt quality can offer. They did everything they can to make sure you get right treatment for this hotel. From front desk to house keeping are all very professional. Only restaurant for breakfast needs some work. But I will go back no matter what.

Amazing location close to the lake and SIP. Beautiful surrounding and staff who are hard working to keep the hotel clean. Good food choices.

As a lifetime Hyatt Globalist member, I have stayed at a fair number of Park Hyatt and Andaz hotels around the world, and this hotel is one of the best (if not the best) I have experienced, with its hotel design, staff friendliness, food quality, amenities, and ambience. I will definitely return in the future.

Excellent service from reception to housekeeping. Breakfast is refined with lots of selection. Hotel offered a free photo session with 屹奇旅拍, it was a nice touch to have a professional to take travel photos.

The Park Hyatt Suzhou hotel is an amazing hotel. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, providing great customer service. The hotel itself is elegant and artistic, looking like a modernized mix of Chinese and western designs. Everywhere you look are gardens and ponds, giving you a feeling of serenity and peace. Note however, that their is a lot of construction in the surrounding area. There is a nice lake nearby for walks or a morning run but you will need to take a short taxi or metro ride to get to the tourist sites.

Room (5/5): Room and layout was amazing. The room still feels brand new with the standard rooms having ample space with a separate sitting area, a large white marble bathroom, and walk-in closet. Hotel (5/5): Entire hotel felt thoughtfully planned with classic Chinese design and artwork but still feeling very modern. The koi ponds in the middle of the hotel had a striking presence. Hotel also had a nice lobby with some space to sit and the gym was quite large. Location (4/5): Next to Jinji lake, which is a pleasant view but the location is a bit far from major attractions in Suzhou. Will need a 25-30 minute ride to get to the primary gardens and busy streets. This was the only downside of the hotel. Service and Cleanliness (5/5): Everything you would expect from a five star hotel.

This hotel was fantastic! My husband and I went for a mini trip to use up a free night at a hyatt and I would 100% come back to this hotel and pay fully out of pocket because it was definitely one of the best hotels I've ever been too. The rooms and facilities are beautiful, the service was impeccable, and the food in the restaurant was amazing. Although it's a bit far from the city center, it's accessible with taxis or subways, and I also recommend taking a walk around the neighboring lake in the evening!

We are Suzhou locals but decided to have a staycation at Park Hyatt Suzhou. The hotel’s view of the Sky Wheel and Jinji Lake was so impressive. I wished to stay there longer. The restaurant, Xi Zhou Hall, provides delicious and authentic food. We had a great time there!

The best Park Hyatt in the world! What a beautiful hotel. Wonderful staff in particular Gerrard Luo the Assistant Front Office Manager who took such great care of us over and above expectations. He may be the hotel’s best asset.! We will be back for sure !

A truly luxurious stay. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and exceptionally comfortable. As expected from the Park Hyatt brand, the service was polished and attentive throughout our visit. The hotel boasts a beautiful setting on Jinji Lake. While it’s not within walking distance of the main tourist attractions or central subway lines, getting around was easy as taxis were always readily available and convenient. Highly recommended for travelers who prioritize comfort and a serene atmosphere.

Park Hyatt Suzhou was one of the most beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The public space was so beautifully designed that people wouldn’t even want to walk to their room. The room was also full of details. The design follows Suzhou’s traditional design language but was mixed with the modern design style. It is very unique and comparing to other Park Hyatts I’ve stayed in this lights up to me the most. The helpfulness of staff was also very outstanding, they are very nice people was professional skills and they truly make this place feel like home to me. Truly a gj!

Excellent 2 night stay. Beautiful hotel property that still fells brand new. The lobby area with the koa ponds, art work, flowers and bonsai tress is a wonderful first impression. Eating in the restaurant with the pond view is very serene. Was upgraded to a suite (Globalist) with a beautiful view of the lake and ferris wheel. Excellent breakfeast and gym. Don't think twice about this property if the location works for you.

This is 10 out of 10 park Hyatt . The style is not like Ph , this one is Chinese style and it very pretty . All the design is really attractive to me . And service for this hotel is super . The response from staff is all very fast . Even the housekeeper is very hard working they will leave gifts

I personally believe this is currently the most luxurious hotel in Suzhou. The entire hotel is incredibly beautiful, showcasing the style of Suzhou gardens. Both the public areas and the room interiors are imbued with a strong sense of traditional Chinese elegance. The hotel's Chinese restaurant is also renowned across the country and is well worth a try.

Stayed at Suzhou Pake Hyatt for a weekend. Staff is exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. Hotel is designed beautifully and maintained well. I am a globalist and get upgraded to top floor suite. We’ll definitely revisit and stay at park Hyatt Suzhou again!

The Park Hyatt Suzhou stood out as one of the best stays we had on our Asia trip. From the moment we entered, we were in awe of how beautiful the hotel was - everything from the common areas to the rooms themselves. The staff members throughout our stay were friendly and responsive. I highly recommend taking advantage of the amenities. The fitness center is expansive, the pool is HUGE, and the breakfast is top tier even among Asia standards. Honestly, we had zero complaints aside from wishing we could’ve stayed longer.

This property is well worth its price and cuts absolutely zero corners when it comes to delivering perfect service and luxury. I think this is as perfect as hotels come by.

I’ve done quite a bit of travel to some impressive hotels but this takes the cake! Such a gorgeous hotel, incredible spacious rooms, and helpful staff 10/10 stay!

I was totally amazed by the architecture and interior design the first step into the hotel. I love its presentation of traditional Suzhou garden with a contemporary hue, especially the two ponds embedded in between the buildings. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was sparkling clean and spacious. We spent two nights and I really wish that we could stay longer. Highly recommended!

The Park Hyatt Suzhou is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed at and since I have been travelling internationally for over sixty years this is saying a lot. The decor and breakfast stand out as do the room 'facilities.' I like this hotel so much I am trying to think of excuses to revisit Suzhou just so I can stay there again.

Staff were extremely courteous and the room was spacious. Air conditioning felt uneven in the room where some areas are warmer than others. The room card was very difficult to use when tapping in the elevator trying to access your floor. Front staff said they are trying to upgrade their system so the cards are not the most sensitive, replaced my room cards and the same issued persisted.

This hotel is definitely worth choosing. It offers beautiful rooms, professional service, and, best of all, both the Chinese and Western restaurants are exceptionally delicious.

It’s one of my best hotel stays!!! The hotel is super pretty. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great value and has lots of varieties. The amenities are great! Spacious gym equipped with real weights and cross training stuff. The pool is nice. The free sauna and steam rooms are bonus! I had a family staycation there. It was wonderful.

Overall experience is awesome. Deluxe king bed room is really large and clean. The appliance here is great. Really love the smart toilet and le labo shampoo. All employees here are helpful and warm.

I would stay here again. Both the facilities, amenities and services were very nice and go beyond expectation. I cannot remember all but everything was comfortable and pleasant. The big fishes were so beautiful in the ponds!
