Verena ist sehr freundlich und bemüht, trotzdem waren wir von der Unterkunft insgesamt enttäuscht. Für uns stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis leider überhaupt nicht. Besonders irreführend fanden wir die Darstellung der Zimmer auf den Fotos. Die Bilder vermitteln den Eindruck, dass zum Zimmer ein eigenes Badezimmer gehört. Erst vor Ort wurde uns bewusst, dass es sich um ein Gemeinschaftsbad handelt, das mit fünf weiteren Zimmern geteilt werden muss. Eine solche Information sollte aus unserer Sicht klar und deutlich in der Beschreibung erwähnt werden. Auch die Lage am See hat leider eine deutliche Kehrseite: Direkt in der Nähe fährt etwa alle 15 Minuten ein Zug vorbei, und dieser ist sehr laut. Dass mit einer erheblichen Lärmbelastung zu rechnen ist, wird in der Beschreibung leider nicht erwähnt. Die Freundlichkeit von Verena können wir ausdrücklich bestätigen. Trotzdem rechtfertigt das für uns den relativ hohen Preis nicht. Aufgrund der irreführenden Darstellung des Badezimmers und der fehlenden Information über den erheblichen Zuglärm würden wir die Unterkunft zu diesem Preis nicht wieder buchen

Verena is very friendly and genuinely helpful, but overall, we were disappointed with the accommodation. Unfortunately, we feel that the value for money is not right at all. What we found particularly misleading was the way the rooms are presented in the photos. The pictures give the impression that the room comes with a private bathroom. It was only once we arrived that we realized the bathroom is shared with five other rooms. In our opinion, this should be clearly and explicitly stated in the description. The location by the lake also has a significant downside: a train passes very close to the property approximately every 15 minutes, and it is very loud. Unfortunately, the description does not mention that guests should expect a considerable amount of noise from the trains. We would like to emphasize that Verena is indeed very friendly and welcoming. However, for us, this does not justify the relatively high price. Due to the misleading presentation of the bathroom and the lack of information about the significant train noise, we would not book this accommodation again at this price.

Ich hab nichts zu meckern. Vielleicht hätte das Zimmer ein wenig grösser sein dürfen. Aber gut, hab halt das Günstigste gebucht.

Accueil excellent!

Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Die Gastgeberin war sehr herzlich, hilfsbereit und unglaublich nett. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, und die Lage war optimal – nur ein paar Schritte zum See zum Schwimmen und ebenso nah zum Bahnhof, um bequem mit dem Zug zu reisen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

The hostess, Verena, was always smiling, cheerful, and helpful. The breakfast was excellent.

La maison est magnifique

Wunderschönes Haus am See, herzliche Gastgeberin, tolles Frühstück. Es hat alles gepasst.

What a spectacular experience. Felt like we were staying with a friend. She went above and beyond for recommendations for us. Assisted us with laundry, and provided a wonderful breakfast every morning. The location was absolutely perfect. Quiet, right by the train, and close to surrounding activities and restaurants.

Un accueil impeccable! Verena est une hôte qui se soucie de tous les petits détails pour rendre notre séjour des plus agréable. On se sent tout de suite vraiment "comme à la maison". L'atmosphère est très cosy et on a qu'une envie, c'est d'y retourner. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est très soigné. La maison d'hôte se situe à deux pas de la gare et nous offre une magnifique vue sur le lac de Sarnen.

Geniales Frühstück!

The landlady was very nice and helpful. This hotel’s location is very convenient right next to the railway station, and with a beautiful view of the lake. It has a “cinema” room downstairs where you can have a beer and talk to your friends without disturbing others. Excellent breakfast with a good selection of bread, cheese, ham, muesli, egg made to order.

Ideally located in front of lake. The interiors feature tasteful décor, warm ambient lighting, and thoughtfully curated spaces that create a serene atmosphere.

The location at the lake is stunning and the complete house is a bijou! Everything is very clean and made with love. The rooms are spacious and the bed is amazingly comfortable. The breakfast is swiss style, very delicious with high quality foods and drinks. The owner is very friendly and always there for a talk or recommendations if needed.

The only thing to mention is the shared bathrooms. The bathrooms themselves were very clean, spacious and very nice. I never met any other person on the way there.

Location-right opposite the lake with excellent views of the lake from our bed room window .Theatre room so we could connect to Netflix if we wanted .Supply of wines beers and snacks if we wanted -Hostess was really friendly and was more than happy to see to out every need .Couldn’t have asked for more .And it’s right opposite the station.

Of course everybody would like to have his own bathroom however, this is a house so it is understandable

Just a lovely location and with great views. Verena was very attentive and friendly and runs a high quality establishment with customer needs in mind. I was too hot with the duvet provided so she replaced with lighter version which really helped. Lots of choice for breakfast!

The location on the lake in the centre of Sachseln was ideal. The area is quiet. The inn itself was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. All details - robes to use the shared bathrooms, towels to go for a dip in the lake, as well as extra toiletry items - were thoroughly thought out. Finally, a coffee machine to make tea or coffee at any hour was available in the breakfast room. As for the breakfast itself, it contained all we needed, including a beautiful fruit salad, something that is too often missing. Yogourts, bread, cheese,s meat, and eggs set us off adequately for the day's hike.

While the walls were thick and barely anything creaked, there are still people who don't know how to close doors, walk down a flight of stairs, or keep their voices down while in their room, all essential manners in tight quarters. That said, we were able to sleep well once everyone went to sleep.

We stayed at this property for three nights and I have got to say this is the cleanest house we have ever stayed in. Lovely location and views! Friendly and helpful host! We had amazing time!

On a passé un magnifique séjour. Avec une vue de la chambre magnifique, une hôtesse tellement adorable et au petits soins. Tout était vraiment parfait! Je recommande absolument!!

Check-in time limited only between 17.00-19.00. Very nice renovated, but bath and toilette to share. Room was very little and hot, without air conditioning. Breakfast was nice with an outside place.
