Great location, amazing views from room and rooftop pool. Incredible staff.

The water from the shower in my bathroom never got more than lukewarm. The lighting in the bathroom is somewhat dim.

Great locations. Spacious rooms. Service at the pool bar is amazing - shout out to Speedy, Valentin and Nathaniel. Also big shout out to Jovita for keeping my room so clean and stocked. They all made for a better stay!

Second stay at Pinnacle Resorts, Chic in Puerto Vallarta was absolutely outstanding! From the moment we arrived, the level of teamwork among the staff was obvious. Everyone worked together seamlessly to make sure guests were taken care of and enjoying their stay. Ariana and her team at check in were fabulous. The customer service is truly top-notch. Every request was handled quickly and with a genuine helpful smile, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. It’s clear that they take pride in what they do. Martina with housekeeping was great, her or one of her teammates did a great job with light cleaning when needed though letting us rest and relax when we wanted. The unit had a wide panoramic view of the bay, well stocked with everything you would need, at an awesome value. What really made the experience special was how friendly and approachable everyone was. Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or staff around the property, every interaction felt warm and personal. If you’re looking for a place in Puerto Vallarta ZR where the service is exceptional and the team genuinely cares about your experience. Pinnacle Resorts is it, great central location, with calm neighborhood vibe. We can’t wait to come back soon.

I have travelled to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, with my husband for 17 years and have loved every moment. We used to stay in Zona Romantica and then shifted to the marina for several years. This year, after longing to return to Romantica, we opted to stay at the Pinnacle. Are we ever glad we did! The Pinnacle comprises three distinct condo buildings, each with its own vibe. We started at Residences, which we enjoyed thoroughly. We ended our month-long holiday at Chic, which is an adults-only boutique building with an industrial loft feel. It's the newest of the three, and it feels it. It's perched on the edge of a hill with sweeping views of the city below and Banderas Bay and Pacific beyond. The positioning also means that it always benefits from sea breezes, which keep the air fresh and comfortable. The rooftop infinity pool (Residences also has a terrific rooftop pool; the third building, Signature, has it's pool on the main level) is the best spot for watching the breathtaking sunsets each night. Others may agree that no matter how many sunsets one enjoys in Pto. Vallarta, one never gets bored of them. One of the exceptional aspects of our stay at Chic was the first-rate staff. Clara Ramirez from the reservations department was outstanding. She made certain that we were completely happy with our suite. She was professional, courteous and simply a pleasure to work with. We're so grateful to have been assigned Clara as our partner. Similarly, Asiris offered excellent check-in services and made sure that we were well looked after while we waited to access the suite (ahead of check-in time, too - Thank you, Asiris!). I must also give a shout-out to Ramon, who was one of the door managers at Chic. Ramon can give lessons on what first-class service looks like. Then there's the rooftop team. I must give special mention to our buddy, Speedy (love Speedy!!) and Diana. Speedy made it his business to inform his colleagues what a vesper martini (our signature cocktail), and, wow ... he made the best anywhere in PV. Speedy also told us that the team knows the cocktail as "007 martini". We had no further problems ordering it afterward. We are booked again for another month-long getaway next winter, and can hardly wait. It feels so good to be back in Romantica and, boy, Chic really delivered for us. Muchas gracias, Clara and Chic

Everything, the property is well located, has everything you need for a great experience in PV. The apartment is comfortable and ample, with amazing views and facilities.

This was our first time staying at the Chic by Pinnacle 179. In fact our first experience staying in a condo in Puerto Vallarta. It is a beautiful property, well maintained, clean. Staff are all friendly and professional. The rooms are well maintained. We had a corner suite and really enjoyed it. We thought we were having a wrap around balcony but we only had a small balcony on the side, but had a good view of the ocean. Inside the condo the windows all along the front could be opened, and faced the ocean. It was really beautiful. At times it can get a bit noisy from neighbouring establishments, but that's part of the Puerto Vallarta vibe, so be prepared. By 10 p.m. things have usually quieted down. It is convenient to have laundry services in your room. However, it would have been helpful to have instructions in English on how to use the appliances as they were a bit different from what we have at home. The kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, utensils. However, it would have been helpful to have a pot holder/oven mitt, a vase, coffee mugs, cloth napkins to go with the placemats, salt & pepper, and ties for open bags. The bedroom area itself was a bit small but opens up or closes up as you desire. Certainly adequate and enough room for 2 people with sufficient closet and drawer space. The mattress seemed a bit old and was somewhat uncomfortable. Our cleaning lady, I believe her name is Martene (on the 5th floor) was excellent and ensured our room was well maintained Monday through Saturday. We loved the pool here, on the top deck, with ocean views all around. It is beautifully maintained, clean and the staff were very friendly and responsive. In particular we would like to point out Diego, Edgar, Speedy, Oserio, the female bartender (can't remember her name (sorry), and Valenti. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience here and look forward to a return visit in the future.

Accommodations at Pinnacle 179 was great! Rooms were well appointed and comfortable. Rosalia did a great job keeping the room clean and stocked.

Location, clean, well maintained

For what we paid per night, you’d think you could get a bottle of water. I also didn’t like that you couldn’t bring anything up to the pool with regard to food or drink. Prices were very high at the bar. More than bars downtown. The concierge at our building had no English at all. I had to twlk to staff at the building across the street.

I cannot say enough good things about this first class hotel. This was my second stay here and both occasions were 5 Star in my opinion. The facility and my room were first class in all respects. The staff is excellent, friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar and infinity pool are the very best to be found. Sunsets there are breathtaking. I rate this hotel as the best I have ever stayed in.

The funicular railway was excellent and very helpful if you struggle with the 102 steps (though note it closes after 10pm). The upstairs pool bar was a real highlight — the staff were extremely attentive and friendly, especially Valentine and Speedy, who absolutely deserve tips. When housekeeping did attend, the service was excellent, with thorough cleaning and evening top-ups of towels and water, which is exactly what I’d expect at this price point.

For a property positioned as luxury, the apartment felt dated and lacking basic modern touches such as USB-C charging points, a good hair dryer, and a full-length mirror. Service and logistics were inconsistent: concierge support was limited, housekeeping follow-up failed on one occasion, lifts were slow due to shared staff usage, and bringing friends to the room felt unnecessarily restrictive despite the space clearly being set up for entertaining

My wife and I just got back from Puerto Vallarta with our two adult children. This was our first trip there and based upon reviews and videos we picked the Chic Pinnacle 179 - and it was a great choice. The location, service, views could not have been better. We chose one of the 3-bedroom suites on the top floor and it fit our needs perfectly. If considering this suite, keep in mind one of the bedrooms is "interior" (i.e. no exterior windows) which my wife and I actually enjoyed as it was peaceful and dark for a good nights rest. It would be hard to go wrong choosing this hotel and I highly recommend.

Everything was perfect. Amazing staff, they really go above and beyond. Very clean, quiet, and perfect location.

If your room is in proximity of the gym, you will hear people dropping weights, or running on the treadmill. I found it bothersome, especially at 8 AM in the morning; the gym shouldn’t open so early.

We stayed for 5 nights and every night was relaxing and enjoyable! The staff was so helpful and friendly! Especially the staff at the rooftop bar! That was probably my favorite part of the stay, enjoying the gorgeous view with the service of the staff. The are felt very safe and close to the beach! I will be back

For the past four years, Pinnacle 179 has been our favorite spot in PV. The rooftop pool and bar are absolutely amazing, and the views are simply breathtaking! While the entire staff is great, having Speedy and Deanna on the pool deck really elevates the experience from a solid 7 to an impressive 10+++! Their friendly demeanor and commitment to keeping your drinks topped off make all the difference.

Been visiting for many years and always have great experience. The views, quality, comfort and service is the best in PV. The staff on the roof top pool and bar, Valentin, Edgar and Speedy are amazing. They take great care of us, are friendly and attentive. We look forward to our visit again next year.

Great property and my favorite place for sundowners. Property is reasonable well priced. Rooms arw modern and well kept. The rooftop is a deal during happy hour. The all star team.that helped me this trip was Edgar (roof) Jovita (housekeeping) and of course Jonathan and Cecilo on the funicular.

Great location, very clean, well appointed rooms and a welcoming, friendly staff. We really enjoyed our stay and will be coming back.

Loved everything. Great location. Room was incredible. We had an ocean front and the view could not be beat. Had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. AC and fans in both the bedroom and living areas kept the room comfortable even in the August heat and humidity. Zero issues. It was my husband's birthday so they had a wine bottle and card waiting for us. Rooftop pool, bar/terrace are great. It was quiet while we were there. Great sunset views and the staff was fantastic. Drinks were very good. I would stay there anytime I'm in PV.

Great service by all staff from check-in, bell service, housekeeping and building security. Our room was clean and well appointed. Having laundry available in the unit was an added bonus.

Beautiful room and property with exceptional service. The pool is a perfect cooler temperature and has a stunning view with open bar and plenty of seating when we stayed. Drinks are U.S. prices, but delicious and well worth it (shout out to Speedy who took great care of us poolside).They offer a grocery shopping service prior to arrival that made our stay even more comfortable and we made full use of the brand new kitchen appliances. The washer and dryer were also new, and soap was provided - great not to come home with bags of dirty clothes thanks to this amenity! Surround views from the corner king suite were amazing even though we were only on the 2nd floor and had really hoped for a higher floor. Our concierge was right - because the hotel is on a hill, there isn’t a bad view in the house if you're ocean facing. We recommend keeping the blinds closed during the day to keep the room cooler. However, the multiple fans and AC work very well even in the hottest hours of the day. My only complaint was the lighting in the bathroom which was harsh, white LED sporlighting and cast shadows making it hard to see yourself in the mirror for make-up, etc. This is a very minor criticism, however. The best part of this beautiful hotel/condo was the team. Every staff member we encountered was delightful and helpful. Housekeeping, security, poolside staff, and check-in teams all made us feel welcome and right at home. We LOVED this place and are definitely planning on a repeat stay.

The nightly tuck down service was heaven. Coming back from dinner and seeing the room immaculate was incredible. It gave such a wonderful, peaceful glow.

A nice aparthotel with a good concept. Well apportioned rooms with many useful features; maintained daily by the in-house cleaning staff. The rooftop bar and pool is another bonus with great views over Banderas Bay and the Pacific - particularly at Sunset.

From the very start this resort and its employees have been great and friendly. The attention to detail with the housekeeping department is definitely something you don’t see everywhere. The aesthetic style of the hotel was very nice. It’s honestly a great place to stay.

The resort was beautiful and the staff was great. The unit had everything we needed including a full kitchen, washer and dryer and an amazing view from the balcony. The only negative was the bathroom. There was no fan and very little counter space. There was no hook to hang the towels or any type of table or shelf in the corner to set any travel bags. There was also no other mirror in the room except for the one in the bathroom, so not able to see a full outfit or close-up.

Our room was clean, the staff was great, and the ocean view from our room was beautiful.

We have stayed at Pinnacle 179 a couple of times now and we love it! We love it so much that now we pretty much only stay there whenever we visit PV. From the moment we arrived it was an excellent trip. We immediately saw the wonderful bellman Ramon who we remember from times before. The Front Desk staff are all very friendly and made our check in process quick and seamless. I can't remember the young lady who checked us in but she was super helpful (throughout our entire stay). The rooms for us are perfect! We have always stayed in the Partial Ocean view room and we love it. First of all they are SO CLEAN! Things like the wood/tile floor make it feel clean as well. The beautiful fully stocked kitchens and appliances are one of the reasons we keep returning! We don't cook much while there but we love having the option lol .. But we definitely use the nice big fridge, dishes and utensils. Bathroom is great and shower is nice and spacious along with great water pressure! ALSO having a washer and drier in room is a game changer! Last but not least and the other main reason we return to Pinnacle 179 is the rooftop! The staff there.. Cecey!!! (She is amazing, always so friendly and helpful and we have come to look forward to seeing her upon our returns). In addition to Cecey, the entire staff! Valentin, Edgar, Speedy, Diana! They really helped to make our stay incredible! Also Diego.. we think he may be the manager, he has always been so helpful whenever we are visiting! And not to forget THE POOL!! SUCH A BEAUTIFUL POOL ..and such a breathtaking view we spend so much time there lounging by the pool and eating Lol ... The quality of food is so good in addition to the nonstop drinks we order while there (mango smoothies for me! Lol) ... Btw just to mention if you love big breakfasts they have DELICIOUS breakfast there! :) THANK YOU everyone and Pinnacle 179 we ALWAYS look forward to returning!!!

The pinnacle staff was amazing very friendly and very helpful. The hotel or resort is taking good care of it’s in a great neighborhood. Dead End St. beautiful views housekeeping staff was amazing our housekeeper her name was Denny was very, very good to us and yeah, we can’t say enough about this place. We’ve been here before and will definitely be back.

We stayed here on our honeymoon in July of 2025, and it was absolutely wonderful. The view, the service, the location, I can't recommend it highly enough. We loved going to the rooftop bar, eating breakfast on the beach, and coming back to our air conditioned hotel room to cool off. We got an ocean view and it was spectacular. All of the staff was so friendly, and our little Spanish got us through just fine.

It was all good everything was walking distance.

Martina went above and beyond her duties. She made my trip so much more enjoyable. Anyone would be so lucky to get the floor she works on.

Room 305- beautiful view but the bathroom was very dark and the bed was like sleeping on books. It also has a decline to the middle so it is not only hard but you slide to the middle.

I would stay again

We keep coming back, so they must be doing something right. The block above Olas Altas, with funicular connecting us to the excitement of the Romantic Zone, is the perfect location. The condos in 179 themselves are nicely appointed, and we’ve cooked a couple of meals in well-equipped kitchen. Very comfy bed, and our cleaner Jovita was great! We love Chic’s pool lounge on the roof, with special shout-outs this trip to servers Diana and Valentín. The only drawback was that day passes are now given, and made the experience less special. Jennifer and Ramón made check-in and a late check-out a breeze. We’ll be back, Pinnacle!

From the comfortable bed and fluffy 6 pillows, to incredible views, perfect housekeeping services and the super friendly staff— we will never forget our time at the Chic. We have never been so relaxed and we can’t thank the staff enough. Gracias Delmy for finding my headphones ear piece, just when I lost hope of finding it!

The hotel is located within walking distance to all kinds of great restaurants and the ocean, but the area around the hotel is nice and quiet (except for a fun and loud Sunday afternoon tea dance at a nearby rooftop -- not a problem at all.) The layout of our room was great. The partial ocean view from the balcony was exactly that -- we were able to look out at the water and enjoy the view, but it was not an "ocean front" view. It was what I expected and was quite lovely. The bed and linens were great, and it was nice to have chilled, double-filtered water directly from the refrigerator, safe and tasty for drinking. The furnishings were comfy, and housekeeping was reliable and unobtrusive. Also, what a treat to have a washer and dryer right in the room. We definitely took advantage of that! The rooftop infinity pool was truly fantastic. What a view! We spent a lot of time by the pool. Our only very minor negative was the poolside bar -- the service was wonderful (friendly and efficient), but the drinks were disappointing. The margaritas didn't taste of lime and the lemon-drop martini didn't really taste of lemon. The house wines were only OK. If the wine and cocktails lived up to the amazing setting, it would elevate this already-great poolside experience to the next level. This was a wonderful find; it will be our go-to place in PV from now on!

We came to love the quiet of this location and the close access to many wonderful things. The pros: -Cold a/c -Rooftop pool and view that is unbeatable -Comfy beds -Full kitchen -Washer/Dryer in your room -Very quiet at night The cons: -Our room was street level/lobby level-this meant we could hear the front desk/security people (music-conversations-etc). It was also across from the office where people buy condos and so it was like we were in all of their meetings (if we were in our room during the day). The manager did ask for both the office folks and the security people to be quiet, but that only lasted 1 day. We just accepted it and it did quiet down at night. If you get booked into PB1 or PB2, prepare for this. -Strange check in process. Very hurried and anxious feeling. Especially when you’ve just arrived and haven’t been to PV before. They want you sign everything “just like your passport” and will ask you to sign again if it doesn’t match. This did not happen at our 2nd lodging place. -You have to wear a permanent wrist band. This marks you as a tourist and it doesn’t come off until you leave. -The drinks on the rooftop bar seem weak. But, the view is unmatched!

Excellent property and service. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The unit was very nice and well appointed. You are close to everything. We walked everywhere. Lots of food and drink choices all within a 10 minute walk. Would definitely recommend.

Great option to stay in a centrally located area. Room was great with an efficiency kitchen, private balcony and pool area was beautiful with wonderful sea views and an infinity pool in a private non crowded setting. Super LGBTQ+ friendly and nice staff who were very attention give to guests.

My husband and I always love to stay at Pinnacle. We have stayed in all of them and will return in the future. We love the rooftop pool and bar. Also Signature Lounge is a must go place. I highly recommend any of the buildings at Pinnacle. The views are spectacular!

Some nighttime bar noise that runs late, but it’s to be expected and overall the property & neighborhood is very quiet considering how convenient it is to everything.

The pool staff was excellent and accommodating all our needs We ate long time customers and alway enjoy coming back. Can’t wait for out next time. Our room was beautiful and clean. The service at the pool was amazing. The beds were very comfy. We also found the rooms to be very quiet. And the sliding glass doors to the patio opened all the way. And we met so many friendly people. This place is so close to all the restaurants. You won’t be bored.

The location is outstanding, close to the beach, stores and food. The staff is attentive and friendly and the property is very well maintained.

Great location in Zona Romantica with view of ocean! We walked a few minutes to the beach and surrounding restaurants. Malecón was within a 5 minute walk. The only criticism I have is the open piping in our unit created noisy nights of the flushing toilet from upper unit.

This is my 6th stay at the Pinnacle 179 The hotel is in an excellent location, the room/apt is always in good condition and the hotel team are excellent. My only complaint is that you can not use the pool in the adjacent building, really stupid and illogical considering the three buildings 179, 180 and 220 are next to each other and marketed as the one resort.

Excellent property, great service fantastic location!

A beautiful, brand-new building. We had a corner suite and the view was fantastic: two full walls of windows that open. Loved that a wall can be closed to separate the bedroom from the rest of space, since my husband wakes up earlier than me. Or you can leave it open to wake up to the fantastic view. The rooftop pool was wonderful, the staff was very friendly and will bring your drinks to you in the pool. It was February and there were humpback whales everywhere for mating season, so we would hang out in the pool during the hottest part of the day and spot whales.

Nicely appointed apartment, great location near beach, good housekeeping services, staff friendliness and near good restaurants and entertainment. Pinnacle Resorts arranged transportation from the airport….a plus. Pinnacle resorts has Happy Hour from 5:00 to 8:00 every night in shaded, covered lounge next to pool. Great experience
