Too close to the main road.

We had a lovely stay at Madeliefie. Minette kindly provided a delicious takeaway breakfast, which included a sandwich, fruit, yoghurt, and juice. Coffee, tea, and rusks were also provided. The guesthouse is conveniently located in the centre of town and close to the hospital, with Vida e Caffè just across the street. The photos provided are an accurate reflection.

There is no breakfast but wev had areally nice breakfast at the Vida Cafe directly across the road.

Location is great if you are working or visiting the greater Paarl area. Close to the city centre.

Minette immediately made us feel at home and welcome . We were able to check in earlier as arranged . Minette showed us her beautiful guesthouse and every room is modern , stylish and very neat , it looks even more beautiful than in the pictures . The takeaway breakfast is a winner , tastefully prepared and special effort was made for us ! We can highly recommend Madeliefie Guesthouse.

Attention to detail. Making the stay - best i have stayed at. Stayed at many places - hospitality and comfort and value for money - none can compare to Madeliefie.

Das Zimmer war super geschmackvoll und stylish eingerichtet - das Bett war sehr bequem, selbst für meinen über 2m langen Mann - wir haben sogar eine extra lange Bettdecke bekommen! Die Gastgeber sind außerordentlich herzlich, zuvorkommend und sehr gastfreundlich, das erlebt man selten! da wir sehr früh raus mussten, haben wir das leckere Frühstück als to-go bekommen - super lecker!

We loved our stay at Madeliefie the kindness, really warmth feeling you become like family the moment you arrive. We really wish to stay longer on our next visit! Amazing with a coffee shop 😉 right across the road the mall a stone throw away. It's paradise!

That I did pre book my second stay they were fully booked so close to everything.

The room was lovely! Very clean and very tastefully decorated. The breakfasts provided were very fresh and tasty. Liezl was very friendly on arrival and helpful. The shower has good pressure and hot water. I'd definitely recommend this accommodation.

Just wanna star with the owner, Minnette is amazing! A lovely person and so welcoming! And her dog, Molly, is such a sweetheart. I already miss them! The house is just beautiful, the room is lovely and spacious, great bed, shower, everything is perfect and spotless. Centrally located in Paarl, very easy to drive around everywhere in the Cape Winelands. The breakfast with her homemade granola was delicious, sitting in the porch and having breakfast with Molly by my side will stay in my memory :)

Well organised, very close to Paarl Gimnasium and excellent communication and friendly owners.

Gute Lage an der Hauptstraße und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Das Zimmer war sauber und entsprach unseren Erwartungen.

Das Frühstück wird am Tag davor bereitgestellt. Man kann es abbestellen und im Café gegenüber essen. Das würde ich auch empfehlen. Das Obst war gut, aber das Brot war nicht so lecker.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr sehr schön. Freundliche engagierte Besitzer, gemütlich, wirklich auffallend sympathisch-angenehm eingerichtet, Parkplatz fürs Auto, alles perfekt, besser geht fast nicht. Sie hat nur einen Nachteil: das Haus liegt direkt an einer Hauptstraße und durch den Autoverkehr ist es laut. Zum Teil auch nachts. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Straße hin und man hat auf der gemütlichen Terrasse oft sein eigenes Wort kaum mehr verstanden. Dafür können die Besitzer natürlich nichts, aber ehrlicherweise wollen wir es beschreiben.

Madeliefie was perfect in every way. We loved our stay, the decor and care was above and beyond and we would highly recommend staying in this wonderful spot

There is nothing more that Mariette could have done. Everything worked and it was a most enjoyable stay. A little maltese poodle takes on the job of welcoming committee. Makes you feel right at home!

Minette & her partner were wonderful hosts. The accommodation is beautifully decorated with attention to detail and comfort. It was a short stay but we felt at home, comfortable and had an amazing restful night. Paarl is warm and accommodating to visitors. Definitely recommend & would love to do a longer stay next time!

Die Lage ist gut jedoch sind die internen Parkmöglichkeiten sehr eng. Die Zimmereinrichtung ist schön und zweckmässig. Betten sehr gut.

Das Frühstück hat leider endtäuscht. Es wird nicht in einem Frühstückraum serviert sondern wird im Kühlschrank des Zimmers deponiert. Selfservice. Im Zimmer gibt es keinen Tisch und Stühle dafür, nur auf dem Balkon sind ein Sitzbank mit Tisch. Der Aufgang zu den Zimmern über eine Holztreppe ist mühsam mit Gepäck.

I liked everything about this place. The host was very welcoming. The room was spacious, it had all the necessary things in it (loved the decor). The shops are all in walking distance, which worked well for me. Definitely top of my list when I decide to make my way to Paarl again.

Due to it being situated along the Main Road, traffic is to be expected, & does get rather loud.

Very friendly and welcoming host. Plugs at each side of bed for cellphone charging. Plug for hairdryer at dresser table. Shower was perfect with very good water pressure and warm water. Room very clean and comfortable.

Accommodation on the main street in Paarlu, not far from the center of this beautiful and clean town. The rooms are excellent, cozy but spacious, and the bathroom is very nice, clean, and well-equipped. Breakfast is cold, but all the healthier for it! The owner is warm, helpful, and very friendly. In a nutshell: excellent accommodation in a great location. Paarl is a great base for exploring the wine region, located not far from Cape Town and even closer to the airport—in short, a great location.
