Beautifully furnished cottage, well-equipped and layout provides privacy from other guests although fairly closely situated to other cottages.

Very cozy and homey. Everything needed is there and more.

Front door needs some attention.

The barbeque facilities and the hot tub. The views of the mountains were amazing. Although you can hear the road at times, it is still peaceful and quiet. Loved the cattle right next door. The kitchen had everything you need. The leather couch was comfy and the candle a nice touch.

The one chair outside was a little bit skew to sit on and the towels were a bit damp. Only one plate per person. There was a constant rustling of birds in the roof, but that is just nature.

Everything! What an exceptional stay! Would visit again and highly recommended!

Beautiful location between the farm trees and the view of the mountains. Lovely, cosy cottage with an awesome hot tub, fire place and braai.

We had such a peaceful stay. The farm was absolutely lovely for walking, and the accommodation was exceptionally private. It was the perfect spot for a weekend away before the baby arrives!

Beautiful view and cottage was exquisite!

The location was great - outside Tulbagh but not too far away. The hot tube was a little faulty but being in the winter, we only tried it once. When we told the owner about the fault, it was promptly repaired.

The location was beautiful, the views, the quietness and peace and the sounds of the animals was just wonderful. The drive wasnt too far out so getting there and back home made it all worthwhile. We will definitely be back trying another cottage!

Not much, everything was well thought out, we didnt have to bring much other than food basics, toiletries and comfy clothing!

The cottage itself is perfectly equipped for self-catering. Everything was spotlessly clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the open-plan layout made it feel spacious and welcoming. But the real stars of the show are the private wood-fired hot tub on the deck and the indoor fireplace. We spent hours enjoying the Winterhoek and Witzenberg mountains as our backdrop – it was pure magic, especially at sunset when the orchards glow golden. Evenings could be spent braaiing on the private patio while the fire crackled inside. Absolute bliss!

Everything! All you need to pack in is your clothing and food. They have everything you need and more. The house is on a working farm so we had cows grazing close by, which my daughter loved and after supper we took a stroll down to the peach trees. We used the cool water of the tub to cool down during the day, and warmed it up for the evening. (Bring extra pool towels) . It gets very hot, but there is plenty of shade and aircon in the main bedroom. And look out for a very sassy bird who sits in a tree close to the tub! 😂😂 This was one of our favourite places to stay. 10/10.

The views of the mountains from our terrace were magnificent and the whole area is incredibly beautiful. Great wine and champagne houses nearby. Our cottage was very cute; lovely artisan/shabby-chic design, quality furniture. Very comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, excellent communication with the Host. We were surrounded by fruit trees and endless wine grows. Never stayed on a fruit farm before so it was a new and exciting experience.

The sun loungers need to be replaced soon. :)

It was very quiet and private. We'll equipped and very clean and comfortable. Loved the xmas trimmings it felt very homely.

Die Lage in der Obstplantage mit Blick auf die Berge ist großartig. Die Ausstattung und das Ambiente sind außergewöhnlich mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Es ist einfach alles da was man braucht, nichts hat gefehlt.

Man sollte beachten, dass man sich auf einer bewirtschafteten Plantage befindet, dort wird also auch tagsüber gearbeitet und es entstehen naturgemäß ab und an Geräusche. Wir wussten das und es hat uns in keinster Weise gestört.

What truly made the experience special were all the extra small touches. Every detail was so thoughtfully considered, from the cozy decor to the little amenities that made us feel right at home. Very relaxing environment.

Amazing views of the Tulbagh mountains. We loved the fruit farm where the cottage is situated at. We could take long walks between the plantations enjoying the farm and the beautiful views.

I loved absolutely everything about the property. Easy check-in and check out. Enough wood was provided for the indoor fire place, outdoor wood-fired hot but and out-door braai place. Although there is no mountain views from the hot tub but it is secluded away from view from the road…which I appreciated more. I love visiting working farms, so this was right up my alley. The sight and sounds of cows mooing from the kitchen window and the sound of birds in the afternoon and mornings was just sublime. Will definitely return in the future.

I loved everything about the place. Was so comfy and relaxing. The place literally had everything.

i enjoyed everything about my stay. Next time I will book a longer stay. I stayed over for business only one night. I had no issues with anything. Although I had no contact with the host the virtual receptionist experience was flawless. It was comfortable, peaceful, quiet, has magnificent surroundings, beautiful bird sounds early morning. I even saw an owl which was very special. I simply loved this place and strongly recommend it to anyone.

There was nothing I didn't like

Love the privacy. We had no one disturbing us. Basically imagine sitting with a nice hot chocolate or glass of wine in front of the fireplace every night.

They could be better set up for power outages. Minor though.

I really enjoyed the cosiness and privacy of the cottage – it made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The beautiful view over the mountains was a highlight, and the interior design is both neat and tastefully done, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The only downside was the mattress, which was a bit uncomfortable due to sagging on both sides. Replacing or upgrading it would make a big difference.

The space was very functional. It had all equipment and facilities needed from the cutlery and crockery to the braai down to the bug repellent. The space was layed out nicely and offered loads of chests/drawers to use for storage

We had the best stay and I couldn't complain but two areas that could be improved is something for the flies during the day like a salmonella candle or those fly repellent fan and the second thing was a little bit more storage in the kitchen to store dry food.

Nicely layout for the interior, everything you need. Wood fired hot tub was great and worked well. Outside braai also well situated near the front door. This is on a working fruit farm, but after 5pm it became very quiet and peaceful with a wonderful starry sky.

Not so private, there is a road in from of the unit that is used by farm workers and guests. Some plants and trees could be added to give some more privacy.

The steep staircase may not be ideal for elderly. I think the shower could be refurbished given the price.

Lovely peaceful surroundings with beautiful Mountain Views

The property was amazing, providing some privacy and quiet time. Perfect if you want some time off and to reset.

The beautiful scenery and the hot water tub. Also the location was perfect.

The flies, but luckily there was doom and insect repellent.

Clean and love the decor. All you need. Hot tub great plus, worked well as splash pool in the heat too. Information given by hosts great for activities and nice restaurants during stay. Perfect for breakaway weekend.

We stayed in Laetitia Cottage and it was absolutely amazing. The views were incredible and it was lovely to experience the farm life. We loved it when the cows came to visit in the field next to our cottage. The hot tub was a great hit, as they always are, the bed very comfortable and everything we needed was there. We really enjoyed our stay and hubby had a wonderful birthday. The check-in process via Whatsapp also worked perfectly well. Hopefully we'll return soon.

Everything was amazing, except, the sharp knives were a bit blunt and I didn't really like the long tap spout in the bathroom. I knocked my head against it a couple of times when I washed my face and it was also a bit messy. Besides that, absolutely nothing. We hated having to go home.

10/10 Highly recommend! We stayed in Ruby Star cottage. Absolutely beautiful cottage with mountain views, Kolkol hot tub, braai area, luxurious bedroom, lounge, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. What more could you need? The attention to detail was remarkable. We will definitely be back!(7

Have been here before, and the setting is just great. Our favourite was the fire pit. Lovely to sit around the fire late at night.

Beautiful location, extremely peaceful and quiet.

The view from Ruby Star is very nice. As are the facilities. African Delight is less convenient (no view from the hot tub and space in living area/kitchen), but it is so convenient if you book these two cottages for two families on holiday together. We had a great time and left relaxed!

Beautiful and stylish cottages on a peaceful farm, yet close to Tulbagh with its Restaurants and lots of Vineyards to visit in the aera.

We looooooved our stay at the Southern Belle, Bergsicht Cottage. By far the most private & secluded of all the cottages. We enjoyed the hot tub & the private deck, surrounded by only the sounds of nature. The fairy lights above the pool were very romantic. The cottage had everything we needed to relax & unwind. No TV which was fantastic - you come here to rest & unplug. We'll be back!

stunning views and all the small details and design, we loved it. It's directly on the farm, but quiet. The kitchen was very good equiped, bathroom with big shower and clean. The bed was very good as well. We stayed in the Laeticia cottage, highly recommened.

We would wish for oil in the kitchen and additional pool towels, but nothing to add, it was amazing.

Since it being a fruit farm the tractor was quite noisy early in the morning.

Very cute cottage, clean and had everything needed for a comfortable, short stay. The unit also had A/C which was very welcome during the hot weather. It’s a quiet area with beautiful view from the terrace! Had a beautiful breakfast at the Kloofzicht Farm Deli, recommended by the host!

Even though clear from the beginning that it was a self check in, we would have preferred some sort of short contact during check out for example. The area around Tulbagh was a little too remote for our personal liking.
