Cottages are setup in such a way that you are surrounded by 360 views of the mountains. Private and secluded. Luxury stay, loved the bath and hot tub.

it was self catering, which I enjoyed. They had biscuits and bottled water which really helped, because I was unaware that the water would be undrinkable.

The hot tub took forever to heat up and took up all the wood I thought would last me the 3 days, so that was a bummer , but it was still enjoyable given the weather and how long the tub stayed warm.

Nearly everything. The facilities are incredible and the view is spectacular. The air conditioning has a warming feature so you don't have to light a fire to stay warm if it gets cold. The braai area is well stocked with equipment and wood.

Not picking: We couldn't really figure out the hot tub. Despite having a fire running for over 4 hours, the water only got lukewarm. We probably didn't use enough wood. The concrete floors do get a bit cold.

Everything was perfect. Couldn't have asked for more.

Location is superb with beautiful views over the valley, abundant bird life and a tranquil, peaceful setting. We had everything we needed! The cottage is beautifully set up. The hot tub is fantastic! We spent a lot of time enjoying its warmth and gazing at the scenery, contemplating life. A lovely getaway for our 30th anniversary :)

Best place to stay if you are going to Tulbagh for a weekend with the most beautiful view and amazing cabin. Lovely basket in fridge with goodies for breakfast. Hot tub worked amazingly and braai facilities are also very good. Planning to go there annually!

We've been wanting to go there for a long time and finally got a booking. It was one of the best places we've ever been to and we've been to MANY lovely places. The view from the deck was amazing, the hot tub, which we kept cool, as we were there during a heat wave, the decor, everything was fantastic. They left us a basket with lovely roosterkoek, a stick of butter and eggs in the fridge. That was such a lovely gesture. Everything we needed was there, the bed was comfortable and really, there is just nothing to complain about. We LOVED staying there. Pity we couldn't stay longer than two nights. Outpost will definitely see us again.

The peace and quiet out here is something special, just mountains, fresh air, and total switch off mode. The views are special, the cottages (outpost) are beautifully done, and the hot tub/dipping pool made it next level. It’s the perfect place to slow down, reset, and just enjoy the moment. Beds were incredibly comfortable and the lil touches left in the kitchen was a treat.

The location is amazing and the accommodation itself is very, very well designed and looks just like the pictures! The hosts are very responsive and helpful whenever needed. We really felt like we got a much needed break at Bergsicht.

The Outpost 1 was very comfortable and very thoughtfully considered by the host. Every amenity I could think of was supplied and there was allot of attention to detail. Beautiful modern an clean cottage. It was wonderful to sit in bed or the the hot tub and watch the stars. We loved the place.

The only downside, if any, was that there was a big pine tree blocking half the view of the valley in-front of us. I would suggest it should be trimmed down to reveal a most spectacular view.

What a gem of a place! We celebrated our anniversary here and this could not have been more perfect. Romantic, private, tranquil and luxurious! The beautiful decorated and well-equipped cottage feels like you are living in a dream! The hottub and views were a highlight - especially under the clear starts at night. Attention to detail and small gestures like supplying fresh milk, farm eggs, butter and 'roosterkoek' truly made all the difference in making us feel so welcomed. Great value for money - we will definitely be back!

Die Aussicht, die ruhige Lage und die perfekt ausgestattete Unterkunft sind einfach wunderbar. Es sind die vielen liebevollen Details, die den Aufenthalt wirklich unvergesslich machen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die großzügige Terrasse, die mehr als ausreichend Platz für Yoga bietet, aber auch perfekt ist, um im Liegestuhl gemütlich ein Buch zu lesen und die Ruhe zu genießen. Eine tolle Atmosphäre zum Entspannen und Abschalten – absolut empfehlenswert!

What a beautiful gem of a place. It looks better than it does in the photos. The hosts have thought of everything. They provided us a basket with eggs, butter, milk and roosterkoek. They provide olive oil, balsamic vinegar and salt and pepper. What a delight! The appliances are all top quality. The decor was tastefully done. The gowns were super soft. The hot tub was the perfect size and had seating at different heights making it suitable for everyone. Love everything about the place. Will definitely recommend and be back!

The road is a bit tricky for cars but possible to drive on.

The views were amazing, cabin met all our expectations, really impressed with our cottage. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing weekend away!

This was a really premium suite with a view. The view is absolutely incredible. The fireplace, the braai, hot tub, all top draw and well organised to ensure it’s easy to used.

I loved everything about the stay. From the host and staff all the way to the treats they left us. We had a good time. Its unfortunate that we could never get our hot tup to heat up properly but I know that I will be back to try again.

The wifi was terrible 2mb/s. There's definitely room for improvement.

This venue went over a beyond our expectations. This is the second time we have stayed here and as before, we were blown away. The attention to detail is incredible. Perfection!

Bergsicht Country Cottages, Outpost has the most spectacular views and the check-in process is so easy with the lock boxes. Facilities are amazing, clean, new and really enjoyed the hot tub. Easy to communicate with the owner and we definitely be back soon!

Absolutely stunning. Everything in and around the cottage is top quality, and the cottage is very very well equipped and furnished. Everything you want and need and the most amazing view.

It was quite, clean, modern and comfortable. Equipped with all we need for a breakaway. Staff was great at preparing the kol kol and braai every day. Will be back

The View is absolutely stunning. The facility's are excellent. The instructions you receive beforehand is really helpful. The bathroom is awesome.
