La camera molto spaziosa e arredata con gusto e con oggetti tipici, letti comodi, cena abbondante servita a bordo piscina, parcheggio privato, la vista sulle dune dune (sono un po' più lontane rispetto le fotografie ma comunque ben visibili), gentilezza delle persone

Nel fare la salita per entrare nel parcheggio privato, essendo una strada sterrata, se si usa una macchina normale (non fuoristrada) bisogna stare attenti a non toccare sotto, ma basta andare piano.

Het is echt Berbers ingericht. De mensen zelf zijn aardig en zeer behulpzaaam. We sliepen er één nacht en boekten bij Ibrahim ook een nacht in hun tentenkamp. Dat was echt prima georganiseerd.

De foto’s en eerdere reviews zijn mooier en beter dan de werkelijkheid. Wij vonden het allemaal een beetje vergane glorie, muffe lucht en te donker

No podria destacar una cosa sobre l'altre....tot va ser excel·lent.....diferents casetes repartides per tota l'extensió de l'hotel....perfectament integrat en el paisatge. En Saiz molt amable i atent amb els hostes. A més ens van oferir les activitats de ruta en 4x4 i quads, a preus molt més raonables del que que jo havia trobat des d'aquí. I van ser activitats excel·lents....els adolescents de la família van flipar i és el que primer diuen de les vacances.

Un’oasi nel deserto

Come appoggio per una notte può andare bene. La struttura è in stile berbero autentico e quindi deve piacervi nella sua semplicità. Il personale è cordiale e parla un po tutte le lingue. Conduzione famigliare.

Le camere e le zone comuni avrebbero sicuramente bisogno di una sistemata e alcuni dettagli sono migliorabili come il bagno e l’illuminazione delle camere. Raggiungerlo è semplice seguendo il navigatore, ma dalla strada principale non ci sono indicazioni e bisogna percorrere una strada sterrata per un paio di minuti.

I really liked Dar Tafouyte, which as seen in the photos is very nice, being the two main reasons: - Friendly in the treatment, availability and... a good breakfast!!! Location.

Skorzystaliśmy z mozliwosci spędzenia jednej nocy na pustyni co było bardzo fajnym doświadczeniem dla całej naszej grupy. Pobyt w lipcu nie był uciążliwy ponieważ hotel posiada bardzo przyjemny basen oraz klimatyzowane pokoje.

Very friendly staff, helped us arrange a trip to the desert for the next day. Very flexible and reasonably priced.

It's a bit off the road, you'll have to navigate the unpaved alleys to get there, but that might be part of the adventure.

Venu hors saison, en juillet, catastrophique, des travaux, pas d entretien autour de la piscine, personnel tout juste aimable, chambre aucun charme, j ai choisi ce Riad par rapport aux avis, énorme déception et très cher !!

Sowohl die Zimmer als auch der Außenbereich mit Pool sind wunderschön! Abendessen und Frühstück waren super Lecker und mehr als ausreichend! Zaen und seine Söhne sind total freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Wir durften den gesamten Tag des Check- outs noch auf dem Zimmer verbringen. Diese Unterkunft ist definitiv eine Herzensempfehlung!

Mooie gebouwen en mooi, verlicht zwembad. Je kunt hier fijn eten rondom het zwembad (er wordt bediend). Eten volgens een soort halfpension/volpension principe met een grotendeels fixed menu, maar er was ook flexibliteit op verzoek. Organiseren een excursie naar de sahara in luxe camp.

Bij het arriveren vroegen we ons af of we wel naar de goede plek werden gestuurd, het ligt midden in een dorpje met een onverharde weg met veel zand en betonblokken in de weg. Eenmaal door de poort is het mooi. Sommige medewerkers vonden wij wat minder vriendelijk en behulpzaam dan op andere plekken in Marokko.

Prachtige dar met heerlijk zwembad en ruim appartement. Zicht op de duinen vanaf het dakterras en zwembad. Heel gastvrij ontvangen, en bemiddeld bij goed georganiseerde woestijntrip. Met gebruik van navigatie goed te vinden.

Très bon hôtel. Chambre superbe, piscine très sympa et agréable. Franchement je recommande. L'hôtel propose également des excursions dans le désert.

La chambre était spacieuse mais Malheureusement pas d eau chaude pour la douche. Grosse déception pour le petit déjeuner également. Il n y avait quasiment plus rien à manger quand nous sommes arrivés. Sinon personnel sympathique. Le bivouac proposé etait tres sympa et le personnel à l'écoute.

This was a slice of luxury whilst travelling in the desert. We were allowed to check in early. Very friendly family run business who helped us source a local taxi driver for a very long drive. Happy to support the local economy.

The best place we stayed in Morocco. The room was very nicely decorated, the pool was nice. You have the sand dunes view from the pool. The hotel has a nice garden. Staff is kind and helpful, we could also wash our clothes. Nice terrace to have breakfast. We also went with them to desert camp adventure, it is definitely must to do. It was very good idea to combine 1 night stay at the hotel with 1 night stay at the desert. If we had more time we would have liked to stay one day more. Thanks Brahim!

It is difficult to find the location of the hotel but I called Brahim and he took us there. Could be good to put a sign at the main road as google maps shows strange ways.

I was excited about this place, having read the 5 star reviews. However, what I read in the reviews did not jive with our experience there. The place appears to be quite run down. The furniture in the rooms was tattered and dirty, the toilet was loose from the floor, the towels were well-worn and hard and felt like they weren’t clean. I realized why when I went in the public bathroom - I was filthy beyond belief and there was a very old washer/spin dryer there which appears to be what the staff used for the towels. There were Christmas decorations and a Happy New Year sign in the dining room. It’s like the place had been unused for a while and no one bothered to freshen it up despite having guests. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. Breakfast was nice enough. There were workers there while we were there, redoing some of the wall area, and they were hanging about well into the evening and had tools and gravel all about right in front of our door. The worst thing was in the morning when we woke and went outside, we noticed a few men sleeping in the courtyard and by the pool on the benches. They did not appear to be staff. It made us uncomfortable. Perhaps they were the men working on the wall but in any case, I thought it was quite inappropriate. I usually trust Hotels reviews but this really made me think twice.

El hotel nos acepto el check in de imprevisto porque habíamos tenido problemas con nuestro alojamiento original, nos dieron un apartamento completo pequeño para los 5 y tenía de todo. Suma la piscina que fue imprescindible para el calor y donde nos dejaron pasar la gran mayoría del tiempo.

es cierto que la ducha funcionaba un poco mal porque la alcachofa dispersaba mal el agua por el resto de cosas todo muy recomendable. Si volviera me alojaría aquí de nuevo

Une piscine agréable surtout la nuit ainsi que le dînez en face de la piscine avec les lumières qui change de couleurs . Aucun insectes ni nuisible rencontrer dans le riad.

Tout est merveilleux sauf que nous avons une petite remarque, il faut veiller sur la proprerté du sol sous les lits.

Clim défectueuse en plein milieu de la nuit. devons changer de chambre plus petite j’ai dû transporter les matelas dans l’autre chambre sans aide de l’agent.

Vi bodde tre nätter på Dar Tafouyte och stortrivdes varje minut. Boendet ligger i ett säkert, lugnt område och är fantastiskt hemtrevligt och mysigt. Boendet är smakfullt inrett med små och stora personliga unika detaljer. Poolen var underbar att ha tillgång till under de heta varma dagarna, våra barn 10 och 12 år kunde inte få nog av den. Utöver själva boendet så kan man inte önska sig en bättre värd än Brahim och hans team. Han är vänlig, hjälpsam, proaktiv och uppmärksam. Jag kan inte nog rekommendera detta boende. Vi kommer tillbaka 🙏☀︎

Le cadre est magnifique et l'accueil très agréable. La vue sur les dunes du Sahara rend la baignade incroyable ! Le personnel a été extrêmement accueillant et nous a même proposé de profiter de la piscine tout le reste de la journée après avoir libéré notre chambre, jusqu'à notre départ pour une nuit dans le désert. Les repas étaient excellents ! Un grand merci à Dar Tafouyte !

Great swimming pool and lovely welcome. We could park the motorbike in shade in the hotel car park.

Air con was difficult to work. WiFi too didn’t seem to work well.

A true oasis in the desert, green and cool with very friendly owners and delicious food.

We pre-booked a night in the camp, transfers, a buggy ride and a night at the Riad. All was handled very efficiently via WhatsApp and all was beyond expectations! Great service, great food, great experience!

The room was a bit dark.

The location is quite remote and a relatively long walk to the town, however the plus point is you have peace and tranquility as you are living in the village amongst local people, which is a lovely experience

Sadly the place is run down, it could be superb, but it feels neglected and needs to be invested in. There was no hot water in the morning, as they depend on solar power, I visited in February and it is very cold, my air con unit did not work well, the bed linen was not great and very few layers to keep me warm. Bathroom wasn't clean and very dated. Breakfast was very limited with no service. This place could be amazing if invested in the correct way.

The pool was lovely, the staff were so kind and very helpful in regards to sorting us lunch, dinner and helping us book all of our activities

The beds were a little uncomfortable but we still slept well and enjoyed our stay!

The best place in Merzouga

Very nice place, we had a nice family room with our family, 2 adults and 2 children. It was big and very clean with nice hot showers and good WiFi. The people are very very friendly, my daughter forgot here sleeping blanket it’s everything for my little daughter!! The hotelmanaget found a driver who drove in our direction and next day the sleepingblanket was back!! Happy daughter and parents!

We enjoyed our stay here. The location is close to the dunes. We enjoyed swimming in the pool. The food options were ample and the breakfast was delicious. The room was spacious. The location was quiet. The hosts were helpful and attentive.

Una struttura veramente carina, vicinissima alle dune del Sahara. Abbiamo dormito in una stanza tripla veramente grande e con aria condizionata , veramante utile ad agosto viste le alte temperature. La colazione è ottima ed abbondante. Abbiamo cenato 2 volte al Dar Tafouyte e la cena era squisita, sia le varie tajine che gli spiedini di pollo. Abbiamo anche usufruito dei servizi della struttura, abbiamo fatto un giro in 4x4 fra le dune del sahara ed abbiamo visto il tramonto nel Sahara a dorso di cammello, un esperienza indimenticabile a prezzi molto contenuti. La struttura è anche dotata di una bella poscina, utilissima per rinfrescarsi a tutte le ore, anche la notte. Che dire, un hotel veramente ottimo temperature.condi

Very beautiful hotel, traditionally decorated rooms and bathrooms, with a very nice swimming pool area, quiet and with excellent breakfast and customer service. The receptionist organised the most amazing tour of the desert for us in a 4x4- highly recommended ( also very good value for money).

Close to the desert and very nice installations. The staff was very flexible and hospitable and got us out to get good prices for other stuff around the area. The pool is a blessing at those temperatures. Recommendable

Location near the big dunes, big room, great food, swimming pool, very friendly staff always ready to help with advice.

The staff is wonderful. Humble kind and so Welcoming. Always around with a smile. The pool was clean and fun to play around in. They even brought us towels for the pool area. We loved the mud walls and enjoyed feeling like an authentic Morocco stay. The beds are softer than most we have had in Morocco and the parking in a gated area is great. Check in and check out are easy and the room was great for our family of 5 with a bedroom separate for the parents and the main room with a large bed and a single bed. Great view from the pool of the town and we loved the puppy out front greeting the kids. Ac in the rooms worked well. I also loved that there is a separate shower/bathroom house so our family wasn't fighting over the one in our room. Especially Bice if you are van camping and stay in their parking lot. Use the pool snd the shower house. The food looked amazing though we didn't order the dinnerware watched others being served and it smelled great. Breakfast was simple and delicious with everything you'd want. Fresh fruit. Hand made bread. Jams and honeys eggs and yogurt, oj and coffee This isn't a 5 star accommodation so if you have that expectation of a room you'll be disappointed but if you want clean, authentic and unique for a great price you will love it.

While there is a wifi connection, at 1 mps speeds you can't do much with it. The shower doesn't have pressure. Or any temp control. We only stayed 1 night so it wasn't a huge problem for us to quick shower in it but something to be aware of. The rooms are a bit dark. The kight fixtures are beautiful but take a while to warm up and even then are a bit dim. But that's pretty minor and to be expected.

Awesome place with very friendly and helpful staff. The pool area is exceptional for escaping from the desert heat. Meals are all A+ and the camel trip into the desert was fantastic. While the hotel isn't right beside the dunes, you can walk from the hotel to the closest dunes in about 30 minutes. Highly recommended.

Ibrahim, Atman(soul Brother:), Ismael, Ibrahim in desert camp...such a genuine warm and friendly people. Hospitality that you can not fake...any help you need you are going to get it...luxury camp or cheaper camp in desert, quads and buggies, camels or 4x4..visiting Berber families...so when you drive in facility you can get all information on one place and with 100% top service. Accommodation is beautiful 100m from the gate of the desert. We arrived late and Ibrahim waited for us with welcome dinner. We slept one night in hotel and next morning my son and I went on buggy desert drive - we enjoyed driving on the dunes..one hour went so fast :), during the day we have had fun on the pool, relaxing, swimming...around 5PM we went towards desert camp - 1 hour on camels, sunset....luxury camp is really nice...big tent with comfy beds...full bathroom...shower with hot water...after delicious dinner we were enjoying Berber music around fire...dancing, drumming...fantastic experience to have fun and sleep in the desert...also we were lucky with weather because there was no wind and the sky was clear....after breakfast kids have done dune surfing and we choose to go back with 4x4 because 1hout of riding camels was enough :). We enjoyed so much and it was hared too leave these beautiful people.

Pillows were to big for us but it is standard in Morocco. It happen to us on 7 of 8 places we visited :)

This has the potential to be an exceptional property. Unfortunately, when we arrived it was not as advertised/expected so we asked for a refund/cancellation. The management was excellent in allowing us to cancel without payment.

This was the highlight of our 2-week travels in Morocco. We wanted to do desert camping on our own instead of a tour rushing you from Marrakech to Merzouga so I book this hotel as a starting point and from there onwards they took care of everything. The staff and management is from Merzouga village so they know everything in and out and do actually go out of your way to ensure all aspects. I asked questions about camping at the time of booking this hotel and I was provided complete details and pricing so we took CTM bus from Ouarzazate to Merzouga and we were picked up from the Merzouga bus station, even though that bus arrives at 9PM. They communicated through the app to check on your arrival time and meals in advance, upon arrival we were provided 2 different room choices to pick the one we like and dinner was ready also in 20-25 mins. Next morning I paid cash for the camping and we were told that whenever we like to go to the desert they will take us, as generally they take guests at 4PM but in our case we left for camel ride to the campsite around 12PM or so. Prior to that I asked if a quad trip is possible and they arranged for 1 in just 15 mins. Everything from camp to meals, sandboarding and all other activities were very good and well thought off. After a night in our luxury tent we took a 4x4 ride back to Dar Tafouyte where our luggage was kept in the same room from the day before and we took our taxi to Fez which was also arranged through them. If you are thinking of desert camping and authentic experience just arrange for you to get to Merzouga on your own and these guys will take care of the rest. 5-star and simply outstanding.

There is nothing negative about the place or the experience. Their prices, I found are a lot more competitive then others who provide tour services. They property is also well spread out and there is a pool.

Absolutely beauuutiful hotel with the sweetest staff. The hotel was a bit hard to find. G-maps had a hard time finding the right streets. This corner of Merzouga is unpaved sandy roads where sometimes it's hard to find a road at all haha. I was scooped up by a man on a scooter who asked where I needed to go, he showed me the way. Another time I tried to find the place in the dark which was even harder. I got lost haha. Some boys in a truck asked where I was going and they showed me the way. When I first arrived I was greeted by the host. I was given tea and snacks to enjoy by the pool. So awesome. It was a bit too cold to swim but in the summer it would be great. My room was amazing. I loved the decor and the view from the window, the sand dunes. It was nice and cool inside, the blankets were warm for the colder nights. The bathroom design was amazing. They had those cool fossil sinks. The wifi in the property worked well, there is also wifi at the pool. There are several outlets near the bed. Breakfast in the morning was great and served until 10 am, which I liked. There were vegetarian options. They do offer to arrange desert tours and camp stays in the safara if you like to. By the way, Morocco is just amazing as a destination. You should go!

Amazing place and wonderful people working there. We also did a Sahara sunset, dinner and local music on the desert camp - great experience! I recommend traditional houses in there, really stylish and well maintained. Also, food there was great!
