The beds were comfortable and it was nice

I think just the water pressure of the shower but that was okay

An old motel that has seen better days. But had everything we needed for a cheap overnight stay. Choose the location only as it was a half way spot to break up a trip away. Good clean bed and linen.

Needs a good tidy up. Old decor. Mould in the bathroom. Carpet edge needed retacking down. Too many power boards and leads made the wiring dodgy. Smoke alarm wrapped in paper to stop it going off……

Mouldy milk in the fridge. Units needing a full upgrade. Considering there were notices up everywhere telling guests to be quiet, the noise from children in the residence was really loud.

The room was clean. The host was friendly, and good location for a motel in the town central to everything that I needed to access. Great location, great price for the room,

Their electric blanket only worked on half the bed. The air conditioning didn't work well at all, and the cooking facilities weren't all there. TV didn't have sky network or was difficult to navigate. There was a heater in the unit that the lead was too short to reach the power point as the message was if the heater was plugged in anywhere else, they would compromise the power and internet. and very cold.

Easy access, hassle free, clean and tidy, daily cleans.

Friendly staff, very clean room with comfy bed. Sky TV included and good tea/coffee selection. Heat pump and heater which worked well.

Shower was only hot for 30sec before going cold in the evening, it stayed warm in the morning but is very weak and low (shoulder level). Couldn't find a plug next to the bed. Very dated with sketchy stairs.

There is not much to like about this motel Id have to say the bed was comfortable though and the towels were good quality.

Its quite old, carpets were stained, spiders on the beds although linen was clean when we moved the beds we could see that it hadn’t been vacuumed under them for a while. For us it was a last minute booking. Shower was just a trickle

Neighbors were banging around all night. Could hear everything the first night. Got in late the 2nd night having a kai and conversation with abit of laughter those very same Neighbors complained. Also shower turned off mid shower could barely fit in the shower and one kitchen tap didn't work. Not enough plugs in the room. Very outdated.

Very strong light right outside the room which luminated the whole room most of the nights. The place in general is in urgent need of upgrade and that is putting it politely. Staff doesn't reply to messages....

There was no hot water. Was a little bit outdated but was still clean and tidy.

I liked the location wasn't far from where we needed to be. We had our 3month old daughter with us and it was warm and cozy for us,the room held its heat and a bonus having the electric blankets on the beds.... the right size for my family of 6.

Being quiet a tall person nothing major but the shower head was a little to low for me,but I made it work for my height 😂😂

sorry but I won't be leaving a 10/10 score. The price of the room for the quality was very over priced. The heat pump took at least 4hours to warm up and then heat the room took even longer. My 6month old baby ended up getting sick and has a runny nose from how cold the room was. The bathroom has mould on the roof which isn’t healthy. There was also wasps in the living area which my partner had to kill before we could go to bed as the bed was in the living area. The hot water took a long time to heat up and then once it did only 2 of 5 people could have a hot shower. Since we were in a downstairs unit we heard every moment from the unit above extremely loud from the kids running around all hours of the night and early hours of the morning. Absolutely shocking

I'll just say it needs a lot of tender loving care done to it. Paper thin walls felt like someone was in our room talking but it was from the room above us. The photos of the room were deceptive of the actual condition of the place.

It's a perfect place to stay overnight on the way to Auckland. Large room and reasonable price.

The receptionist Precious was very helpful, the room was clean,comfortable, fresh feeling upon entering we were very surprised, the price was acceptable but the outside and part of inside just needs some loving with a bit of paint and cleaning especially an update yes we would stay there again very handy motel to where we needed to be.

The location and staff were friendly. TV and sky worked. New microwave, toaster and jug.

Very run down. Mould on ceiling in bathroom. Stained furniture and bedding. Hole in bathroom door which had been covered with paper. Double bed would not fit two people as there was no support and just folded in the middle. Only stayed one night, was booked for two. While it was the cheapest available, still over priced for the condition.

Friendly and helpful staff, who had sound advice re the places to eat and the sights to see.

Beds were lovely and clean. Don’t know how to work the heater properly but got back in the evening to the heat pump on and everything sorted. So thoughtful.

Little bit dated but as expected for this budget was completely fine. Little bit of dust in the corners behind doors but nothing terrible.

Cobwebs inside the window, more effort can be put towards cleaning the inside of the room and bathroom. I did not wash the dishes because the sponge was dirty. I don't like giving bad reviews, hope this will help them to up their game.

Close to town centre. Warm with heat pump and comfortable for one night. Would stay again.
