Cussions and mattress too soft. The bathroom- the door can be replaced by a foldable door. The basin should be moved so that there is enough space to sit on the toilet. Space very tight

Reviewed Jul 13, 2026The view is definately worth a mention. The location in Main street is also a plus, close to everything in Clarens, we were able to walk where we wanted to be. The fireplace kept the living area warm and cosy while the rooms had heaters, electric blankets and feather duvets.
A bit of a let down was that none of the rooms with the king beds were en-suite. While everything is clean and in working order, some small updates can be done. One thing I was missing was a vanity table in the room, there was no place to put your hairdryer, brushes, make-up etc, when getting ready. But the overall experience were nice with more positives than negatives.

The room is small but manageable for a short stay.

The only complaint is that we could hear the people of the establishment next door partying way past midnight... in fact till 2am!

Being on the main road it was noisy throught the night, the bathroom is very poor, the shower are is so small I barely fitted, the shower was leaking onto the bathroom floor and flooded. I had to clean up myself. I was the only guest checked in on the day and was given a upstairs apartment on the road facing side.

Reviewed Feb 10, 2026Cute accommodation within easy walking distance of the centre of Clarens. Pam and the staff were all very friendly and helpful with anything we needed.
As 4 adults we stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which is a bit on the small side given that there isn't a lounge and not really enough space to all sit down and eat either inside or out but Pam was kind enough to let us use the bigger balcony from the 3 bedroom unit next door which was much appreciated! However I recommend booking the bigger apartment if you need more space - it's very nice as well!

The friendliest host I've ever met, we communicated via WhatsApp days before checking in and she recommended places we could go to for food, activities and everything else we may need. As if that was not enough, I had mentioned that we were there to celebrate my daughter's birthday and she brought my daughter a very beautiful birthday gift.

The configuration or the bathroom. My husband is a tall guy with a muscular build and the toilet is between the shower door and the basin. Toilet holder under the basin. Was very tight. Nothing that the property can do. But it’s what we didn’t like.

Reviewed Jan 5, 2026The place was beautiful, clean and perfectly looked after, everything was very thought off , the fan, the heater, and perfectly placed. Loved the option of a smart TV and Wi-fi never buffered even once , excellence service. It was peaceful. I could`ve easily extended our stay. The host shared good information and kept us updated of any changes. Palesa was only there when we needed her .
They need to be flexible with the check in times.
