Nous avons été surclassé et avons eu la villa deluxe, elle est magnifique et la vu à couper le souffle !

Stunning location on the side of a hill overlooking the ocean. Gorgeous sunsets every night. Cute pool overlooking the ocean. Menu with lots of options and reasonable prices.

Difficult to get to and isolated. Best if you are renting a motorcycle or getting pick-ups/drop-off from a dive center (for example). Dorm room was very old and basic. Main door did not fully close so lots of bugs and critters inside the room. Only 2 shared toilets and showers for the entire hotel.

La habitación con vistas al mar y la amabilidad del personal.

La limpieza, estuvimos tres noches y tanto los baños y la duchas estaban sucios, se precisa poner mucho más esmero en ello. Elegimos este lugar porque pensamos que sería tranquilo, y al segundo un día llegamos muy casados y vimos que había una fiesta, con música alta y personas borrachas donde los baños estaban asquerosos y no los limpiaron hasta la mañana del día siguiente. No tomar el servicio de lavandería ya que la ropa la secan en un altillo con un ventilador donde no le da el sol. Lavaron la ropa el primer día y el tercero que nos fuimos la mitad estaba húmeda y olía mal, en lo cual nos descontaron la mitad del precio pero en el siguiente hospedaje que nos alojamos la tuvimos que volver a lavar.

Tout était parfait, belle vue, grande chambre calme et spacieuse, repas et lessives possibles sur place.

Juste dommage que c'est isolé de tout et loin. Pour 6 nuits, c'était vraiment long et les transports étaient vraiment très chers jusqu'à la ville de Coron. Repas bons mais sandwichs vraiment basiques et chers pour ce que c'est.

Nous avions réservé la villa de luxe , nous avons trouvé une chambre avec sanitaire privatif rien qui justifie le prix.La chambre est contre l’espace détente bar billard et de la route nuisances sonores garanties pas de plage aucun accès pour se baigner, la piscine n’est pas entretenue très déçu .Aucun commerce ni restaurant il faut impérativement louer un scooter pour aller à la plage, le centre-ville de Coron est environ à 1 heure 15

Very chill stay here ! You are out of town but is lovely to relax for a couple days. The food is delish and the staff are so lovely. We sunbathed ,took the kayaks out and played pool. The AC on the double room was very loud so using the overhead fan was better :)

Unser Aufenthalt war super. Wir hatten die Cocovilla und der Ausblick und Lage ist echt traumhaft. Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit! Wir haben es sehr genossen! :)

Det var en bra frukost med många alternativ för oss alla. Poolen gillade vi mycket också och särskilt barnen som kunde hoppa från kanten. Maten var riktigt bra även om vi kanske tröttnade lite på alternativen mot slutet och portionerna var inte jättestora. Cilogs blev en ny favorit för flera av oss.

Hade gärna haft toa på rummet. Det finns inte så mycket runt omkring och vi hade gärna sett att det finns lite mer snacks att köpa, det fanns bara dricka.

Had a great stay. The atmosphere was really welcoming and it was easy to relax and meet people, either in the communal Area or by the pool. Everything was clean and well looked after. It’s also a great place to escape from Coron. Tim was super helpful during our stay, we also had a few fun evenings having beers and playing pool, which made the stay even better. Would definitely come back again!

La vue est incroyable avec des sunsets très beaux. La nourriture est bonne également.

J’ai surpris l’équipe de ménage allongée dans un lit du dortoir lorsque la plus part des clients étaient entrain de faire des activités. N’ont-elles pas d’autres endroits pour chiller ? Les fenêtres des dortoirs ne ferment pas alors attendez-vous à ce que des insectes entrent dans la pièce (araignées, moustiques, geckos). Il serait aussi pertinent d’ajouter une étagère à chaque lit pour pouvoir poser ses affaires. Au niveau des douches, la pression de l’eau est très faible. Et enfin en presque une semaine, personne du staff n’est venue nettoyer la piscine, l’eau y est stagnante.

Les toilettes bouchées en permanence par manque d eau , les chasses d eau ne sont pas efficaces mais comme ce sont des toilettes collectives ce n ets tout simplement pas possible !

I felt I was interrupting the staff whenever I ordered but you have no choice you have to eat and drink there so I was constantly asking for drinks etc

It was not very clean. Room 6 had moldy pillows and had a very damp and musty smell. Showers were not clean and only 2 showers and 2 toilets as shared facilities. There was very little room to sit at tables and eat together. It was very much a backpackers not a resort. The bar and reception area was always occupied by smokers, not very welcoming. When we got up in the morning, the upstairs area was still dirty from night before with dirty cigarettes. Misleading to call it a resort.

Fantastic place!!! It made us feel like at home. They were able to accommodate us an extra night when our transportation to leave the island got cancelled, and made everything so much easier for us. Customer service before and after our stay was awesome and their help arranging transfer, rental scooters ecc. Great atmosphere, views and beautiful bungalows, great Ceviche and Food as well!!

Nothing really. There are a few things that could be improved slightly, like the showers, for example, or maybe add a couple of cushions in the chairs in the lounge for long hours relaxing there and extra comfort. However this is not very important and

Wet, smelly mouldy bathroom and toilet. Door in dorm room not sealed closed. Large gap in sliding door. Toilet and shower cleaned every day but noone can be bothered cleaning the mould. It’s disgusting.

The villa is located right next to the main chill area which can be a bit loud at occasions. Not a big issue though

Where to even begin? Our stay at Cocovana was a complete nightmare. We were misled by the high ratings and the beautiful views, which turned out to be the only "good" thing about this place. First and foremost, the lack of hygiene is appalling. The level of FILTH is unacceptable: stained bedsheets, old towels full of mysterious spots, and animal droppings in the shower. There were dead and live insects everywhere; we even had cockroaches crawling around us in the bathroom. The furniture and linens are ancient, worn out, and look like they haven’t been replaced in years. Communication with the staff is another disaster. They only reply a couple of times a day. We had to arrange our own transport to leave because they simply stopped responding to our messages after we tried to confirm a van. While the food at the restaurant is "okay," it is far from good. We seriously considered switching hotels after the first night. However, because the location is so remote and the logistics are so complex, we chose to stay out all day and only drive back late at night just to avoid spending a single extra minute inside the property. I do not recommend this place at all. Save your money and your health—stay somewhere else.

Best Pool on the Island! Clean and enjoyable with a great sunset. If you are gonna chill there then this is the place to be! Great view. Yummy food and super friendly staff. Very much built into nature - so you might come across lizards, crabs or frogs on the grounds. Accommodation offers shuttle service and organises your bus ride if needed (in the bus working hours). Down to earth and rustical.

Make sure to bring what you need! This is far off and I did not attempt to find a shop or anything around. Make sure to inform them via Message what time you will arrive - since it is further out you need to check how to get there - the hostel provides information for that. I stayed in a private and common room. To be in the common room you should not be picky - it is simple. Locker available. The electrical outlets looked rather unprofessional. AC very loud but does a good job. Not a good place for day trips, since you have to get back into the city for it (extra cost for rides). Bring a sleeping Mask - the curtains do not shut out light.

Alejado de todo y una paz increíble. Además te ayudaran a alquilar moto si quieres explorar la isla o reservar tours como el ultimate o el escapade o black island. También si quieres bucear en pecios japoneses. La comida ha sido siempre excelente, de 7.30am a 19.30pm pide lo que quieras!

Cocovana è una struttura semplice, ma super ben organizzata, in una posizione fantastica. I bagni in comune sono sempre pulitissimi e funzionali. La nostra stanza era molto spartana, come ci aspettavamo, ma letto comodo, aria condizionata funzionante e silenziosa, vista spettacolare e cullati dalle onde del mare. Il cibo del Cocovana è davvero ottimo. L'ambiente è molto familiare e socievole. Personale attento e cordiale. Consigliamo la gita a Black Island, stupenda. Assolutamente consigliato.

Nous avons passé 6 jours dans cette pension dirigée par un couple mixte franco/ philippin et sa famille. L emplacement est sympa avec vue sur mer. Juste difficile de s y baigner car pas de fond. Mais il a d autres plages à proximité. Les cabanes sont confortables. Les toilettes communes et bien entretenues. Les cuisiniers nous mijotent des bons plats. On se régale. Il y a de l ambiance, de la bonne humeur, de la bonne musique et pleins de clients sympas. C est un lieu convivial dans lequel nous avons fait des belles-sœurs rencontres. Tom nous a donné pleins de bons tuyaux pour visiter l île en moto ou pour partir visiter les îles. Impossible de s ennuyer. Merci à cette équipe dynamique qui se soucie de ses clients. 🙏👍🤩

Le personnel est super aimable, toujours prêt à aider ou à conseiller. Le cadre est magnifique et très dépaysant pour des personnes venues d'Europe. Un logement qu'on conseille vivement.

We loved the location as it is secluded and away from the bustle of Coron Town proper, the hotel restaurant cooks amazing food and if you do want to move about the island they offer extremely affordable scooter rentals. The pool and easy access to the beach just add to the tropical paradise feel.

The fact that it's away from the main town can also be a disadvantage as most tour boats and day activities start from there, but if you're aware and manage your itinerary you won't be disappointed in the slightest

Perfect Place to relax with the best Pool on the island! Enough space for a lot of people to chill at the pool. Great fellow travellers staying there too. You get chatting very quickly. The Hotel Staff is really kind, joyful and helpful. They can organise rides and trips for you. Unique architecture: one with nature. Really good food! If you do not like garlic you can ask for less ;) Billiard and games to pass time. I was able to pay by card (+3%) , make sure to bring enough cash if you want to pay for expenses that way. At least 250 Pesos for the Van ride back to Coron.

A lot of different animals on the ground. They have two dogs. So if you are scared just be aware ;) There was a pool Toilet/Shower next to the dorms which was good for a quick wee. The proper toilets were “upstairs” It is far out! Keep that in mind and bring what you need. Not sure if there would be a place to get sunscreen near by :D

Perfect location off the city. The owners are super friendly and it was quite a social place even when I was the only guest. Food is amazing with a great mix of menus to choose from, but I think there can be a bit of a waiting time when it's busier, so it makes sense to order the food in advance. The AC in the rooms worked perfectly during my time there.

Wir waren zwei Nächte dort und wären am liebsten noch länger dort geblieben - super freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal eine wunderschöne Lage direkt am Meer. Essen war auch super lecker. Wir können es nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen

Die Unterkunft ist super. Wir haben es so sehr genossen im Cocovana Beach Resort. Die Zimmer sind schön, man hat alles was man benötigt und die Umgebung wundervoll. Super Aussicht auf das Meer, sehr gutes Essen, tolle Gastgeber. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt um 2 Tage verlängert und gingen ungern.😅 Die Lage ja, man ist weit weg und benötigt eine Zeit um nach Coron Stadt zu kommen. Allerdings haben wir uns das bewusst ausgesucht und haben für die Ausflüge einfach einen Roller gebucht und sind somit selbstständig zum Pier gefahren. Es wird aber alles organisiert ob Tauchgänge, Bootstouen und Shuttlebus nach Coron Stadt. Lieben Dank für die tolle Zeit.❤️

We loved it there. It is a cute little resort with a wonderful view of the sea and the perfect spot for a sunset. The food was amazing! I can recommend their pancakes and Adobo Chicken! The staff was very nice and no matter what we needed tjey helped us e.g. one of us was struggling to top up her sim card and they helped us with this. We also got an upgrade of our room which was really nice. And the pool was really nice. It had chairs inside so you could chill while watching the sea. Some may say it's a bit far from everything but if you're comfortable on a scooter you'll have no problem as this resort is right next to the main street. Another thing to know: There are dogs and cats running around and you'll have the occasional bug flying around but it's normal for a place in the middle of nature. It didn't bug us but it's worth a mention

Peace. A gem from Coron. The people are great. Easy, smiling an helpful. They have a little pool overlooking the sea to enjoy a lovely sunset. Also you can play at their pool table. You can do a trip at the port next by(15 min drive) to black island for a reasonable price but remember to get food and goggles at cocovana. The couple that cook the food are also really sweet and attentive. Bare in mind food takes time. They are only 2 people cooking things from scratch (no process food) Everything is lovely!!!!

It is far from everywhere (which is also great).You are dependant on the hotel van or you can also rent a bike. It is easly resokved. For 2.000 pesos, they either pick you up from the airport or take to Coron town. There is also a local bus that takes you to coron for 250pesos per trip.

Las vistas del atardecer son geniales! Está en una zona muy tranquila. Te ayudan en cualquier actividad que quieras hacer en la isla.

En Los lavabos hay muchos insectos, sobretodo arañas bastante grandes. En la barra del restaurante hay muchísimas hormigas.

Rooms were super humid like it was months close and were smelling really bad, the fan was making terrible noise and you couldn't sleep, small menu and part of it had finished, and of course the villa room is in reality a small room. It is also bad that the hotel doesn't even have a small beach. Linen were full of ants and insects .

Peaceful place to stay in after the hustle of Coron town, the staff is more than helpful with bright energy, the food is great with plenty of choice although not necessarily cheap, and they also organize tours around Big up to the two volunteers or something that were working there at that time Just don't visit in rainy season 😹

Unfortunately the swimming pool was closed for the time we stayed there Got some pimples from certainly bugs but I think it was because of the cats and dogs of the property (even if healthy), couldn't help it and hugged them

The owner was attentive, but other employees didn’t care.

Beautiful, peaceful spot with a fun, relaxed vibe. Our private room was super spacious, A/C worked great, and even though the water pressure was low, it was still easy to wash my long hair. The food was good, and the communal areas made it easy to meet other travelers. Staff were lovely, and the trip to Black Island is a must. Don’t forget bug spray—but seriously, don’t let that stop you. Bonus: the sweetest resident dogs who love belly rubs!
